Big hotel geared for groups.
Very convenient to experience the area and lots of space and amenities. We didnt stay long or take advantage of all but all looked good. Food was a bit mass-produced but expected based on size of the hotel.
Staff were great and it served our purpose well to visit the area for a few days.

Disappointing stay.

The check in was a nightmare. The young lady and her supwrvisor were very unfriendly and did not attempt to understand our questions. Did not speak English ( not even a translation app). The valet / bell hop spoke decent English and he translated to them. Modest rooms. Odor in the corridor. Pool staff were not friendly … very standoffish. The restaurant staff were very good and so was the dinner buffet. The hotel was in the middle of “no where” ….

The hotel was a bit dated, but the service was good and exceeded our expectations. To our surprise, supper was included in the stay, which was a lovely bonus. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a generous basket of fresh fruit — a thoughtful touch that made us feel special.

I have been few hotels around the area before and been to this hotel way long time ago.. it was ok overall but this trip I really hate seen plastic shower caps been handing in the thermal pool..😔 some hotels I stayed before , you have to purchase the swimming cap and re use again and take home with you..this hotel I have noticed they do not care about environment at all, management should not be in that position or owner should not owe hotels if they not care about the environment..😔 only good thing about this hotel was for me they were pet friendly as I have took my pet with me.. I would have rate it differently if they were care about environment.. hopefully people will consider about this before they make booking.. hundreds of people get in to pool with plastic hair wrap and they get in the pool few times per day.. every visit extra rubbish.. I have seen hotels ( spa hotels) provide water but you have to carry your own water bottle..it would be nice to see those rules in the every hotels around the world.. but this hotel just so useless about environment 😔

Thermal pool and swimming pool is fine.
Suit room is large.
There is a smell of food, especially cooking oil, in the lobby and the restaurant. Most probably there is a problem with paddle box.
The hotel is too crowded in the mornings as there are lots of tour buses departing at the same time.

I am not sure what to say….the motel is old, it is geared towards bus loads of tourists that are only staying a night and leaving forever, subsequently that is the attitude of the staff and the quality of the food (really poor) and services. I would not recommend the hotel for this price unless you just want to come to the hotel for the location (1-2 km from the Pamukkale Pools/museums) or the thermal pools (1 of which was closed during our stay.)

Was a decent hotel. Comfortable, but breakfast buffet a little chaotic--too many people. This is a volume-oriented hotel, meaning they have LOTS of people here. Pamukkale was interesting to see but unless you plan to spend time doing the thermal baths, you can come early in the day form Istanbul and leave in the evening.

The Richmond Pamukkale claims to be a five star hotel, and even though it may pass the on-paper test nominally fulfilling the criteria, the reality is a different one. The facility looks like it was built in a hurry and is in dire need of a makeover. For example, we could hear the neighbor's TV and our room had a number of faults. The toilet seat was not straight, the cosmetic mirror was not usable, there was not plug on one bedside, the wood panels in the hallway to the thermal pool were rotten. There is no concierge and no hairdresser on the ground. When we arrived, we were not asked if we preferred a twin bed or 2 single beds and were lead to a room that didn't suit our preferences. The breakfast was not partially disgusting, the eggs were totally overboiled and the coffee just tasted horrible. To have breakfast in the room was subject to additional charges, so was the plain water in the room. Besides that, there was no possibility to make coffee or tea in the room, as it is even usual in many 3 star hotels.
The dinner was OK and upon request, we could have a vegetarian dish, but in general there was no standard dish to cater for certain conditions, as one might expect in a thermal hotel, which would typically address elderly people. The wellness facilities were pretty decent, although the showers have no possibility to hang your clothes and towels.
The only thing that was really outstanding was the massage service and we would recommend it anytime.

We stay at this hotel because of the good thermal pool.
Hotel has its own beautiful territory. Good breakfast and dinner. At dinner, water is free, the other drinks are paid. The hotel is about a kilometer from the center of Karahayit, where there are many cafes and shops.
Bathrobes and slippers are provided, while towels and disposable pool caps are available in the thermal center.
We have stayed at this hotel for the second time and plan to come again.

Poor soundproofing in the rooms.

Гостям надаються халати та капці, а у термальному центрі - рушники та одноразові шапочки для басейну.
Ми зупинялися в цьому готелі вдруге і плануємо приїхати знову.
Мінуси:
Погана звукоізоляція у кімнатах.

Very well trained staff. Great thermal pools. Indoor pool is a little too small for the size of the hotel. Out door pool is excellent, but not warm enough for the winter months. Meals were exceptable, no complaints. Excellent salad bar. Staff at the restaurant was superb. We'll go back for sure.

This is a typical tourist package hotel filled with too many package tour tourists, therefore hotel is stretched for staff to service people. Check in took too much time, the goof served at dinner was low quality. The aircons in most of the rooms don't work, so the service guy came after 3 calls and then since he could not repair, he replaced with a fan :-))) had no option but to take the fan. Even the fan was not working, so had to be replaced!!! The pool was over crowded with people. Reception staff could surely be more polite but they are stretched. Overall a bad experience.

Service was poor. Although the hotel has nice amenities, rooms were dirty. We stayed for 4 days and on all days our key card would stop working after 8 to 10 hours. WIFI was not available in the room. Hotel does not have elevator and hence the bellboys had to carry the bags which was accessed very roughly. We saw the bellboy throwing bags from the stairs which would surely damage items and bags while transfer.

We came in at 3 o clock and despite check in being advertised at 2 pm, none of our 4 rooms were ready. We had to wait a full 50 minutes before getting our keys. The staff also does not smile and doesn’t communicate well with guests. It took them a good 25 to 30 minutes to process the registration without keeping us updated on what was happening. The rooms look pretty old. The refresh is long overdue.

Check in time is 2pm, but they are not ready with my room at 240pm. Waited 40minutes for my room to get ready. Already very tired from

Average rooms and F&B, not a 5 star property

The only selling point for this hotel is its Thermal pool. The buffet dinner winds up by 9.30 pm and they do not care if you are still eating, they will ask you to stock up so that they can start winding up. The food quality and taste was very average and options limited. The room was rather congested and no space for sitting and unwinding. The room temperature was centrally controlled and was uncomfortably hot. I certainly do not think this property is 5 star. Stay only if within budget and that too for the hot thermal pool which is fabulous.

We had stayed 3 rooms after we settled down that we found that in every room there was something missing, bathrobes, soap, towels and so on. The reason we understood later, the hotel is an intermediate stop of thousands of Chinese, Taiwanese and so on tourists who come for one night and the staff apparently is not enough to fix all the rooms. However, the hotel restaurant is a nightmare; at dinner all the tables are collected and numbered, where the staff asks for a number that is clearly told the groups, you can not sit where you want, the food is literally destroyed in seconds, we wait for breakfast half an hour to bring bread and bagels.A cat walks in the restaurant to get to the tables when you leave your food for a while. Extremely noisy by the constant crowds of tourists, the personnel invaded the rooms without even knocking, if you did not drop the latch, you might end up in a confusing situation.

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in Nov. This is a budget hotel. No tooth brush, no air condition (only hot air is availble). If you need fresh air, you need to open the windows. Half board is availble. Dinner time is from 7 - 9 pm. As it’s the hotel favourite for tour, it’s difficult to find a seat when u come late at 8. You have to ask the waiter to help to tidy up the table as they are all busy. Only water is provided in dinner buffet and you have to order if you want other drinks. Overall, the price is reasonable and the room is clean.

This hotel is close to a small village ! If you are planning on visiting Pamukkale I think you would enjoy your stay there but don't expect too much! There were stains on the towels and linens and mold in the shower ! The don't accomadate your room with conditioner or body wash so take your own! One of the most unusal things about this hotel is that eventhough it has four pools (including the therma pools) they don't offer any slippers which was a first for me. The therma pool is a great place to chill in the evenings when the weather gets colder but I wish the would clean it more often all the walls were full of algea which gave it weird feeling!

Hotel seems like it used to be part of a nice chain, but has clearly become dated. Hallway carpets in bad need of replacement. Staircases full of extra beds. Very poor noise insulation between rooms. Poor cleanliness in the spa area and change rooms (muddy floors). Nowhere obvious to get or buy water in a thermal resort! Our check-in was quite slow, and there was an issue with the room being charged a second time at check-out. No elevators to the rooms. Meal buffet was not bad, but nothing special. Very crowded eating area.

On the plus side, the room was as expected, the bed and bathroom were nice. However, our non-smoking room was still quite stale smelling, and there were cigarette burns on the couch.

Lovely Hotel with excellent facilities to cool down and rest after a hot day touring and sightseeing. Nice breakfast and dinner options spaced out considering the large groups they cater for. Corridor carpets are a bit musty /smelly and could do with a makeover. Check in does take a bit longer than normal with rooms not always guaranteed to be ready on time from our experience.

We then met up with Ayala from guest services who quickly and successfully resolved all issues. She made the faction a great success.

There was only one member of the staff helpfully, the one that speak English he was brilliant. The girls were not interested to be there,in restorant waiter with glasses absolutely rude. Ever time management was eating there ,his hole attention was dedicated to them.

It didn’t make me fill comfortable at all. It felt I didn’t belong there

No option or tips of what to do during the day. No quick introduction of the hotel facilities of where everything was something that I believe every visitor needs to be aware of.

Be in far from other restaurant doesn’t help for lunch meaning if you don’t drive you will be starved for food.

No outside swimming pool!! under construction mean nothing exlapined by staff???

The stay was good, but the staff wasn't helpful and didn't know english. I called Richmond before checking in but i was put on hold by the staff saying 'he is busy with checkouts', when i called again the staff was not helpful.
At hotel, i asked the staff (the one who is supposed to know english) if he could tell me the shuttle charges from hotel to airport, he said 30TL or 40TL, I asked can you be exact if its 30 or 40, after staring at me for few seconds he says rudely, 'lady, is there anything i can help you with?' I am like 'no thanks'

Персонал оперативно реагировал на наши просьбы: заказали для нас автобусный трансфер до аэропорта, в течение 15 минут устранили поломку в ванной комнате.

The hotel is located in a quiet place on the outskirts of the village. To the center of Karahayit 10-15 minutes walk.
Delicious food, comfortable clean rooms with daily cleaning. Beautiful and well-groomed hotel area.
A good thermal pool, sauna, hammam, fitness center - all included in the room rate.
Bathrobes, slippers and towels are provided. It is very convenient for visiting the thermal center.
The staff responded promptly to our requests: they booked a bus transfer to the airport for us, eliminated the breakdown in the bathroom within 15 minutes.
Recommended hotel for a relaxing wellness stay.

We spent a very relaxing week, the chef produces a great variety and of good quality food and there is always plenty. Breakfast and dinner only, but people seem to take enough away at breakfast for their lunch. They have indoor and outside Thermal spas was relaxing but i did nt feel the whole of the inside spa complex was clean enough. Close to north gate of Pamukkale.
We were the only europeans there .
only complaints are during a wedding day we became surplus to requirements and the pool and bar became out of bounds, also a herbal life convention completely took over .

This is not what one would expect from a 5-star hotel in Turkey. All the necessary services are there, food was surprisingly quite good but the condition of the hotel, the cleanness of the pool area could definitely be improved not to spoil the impression. However, we were told this is the best hotel in the area so I think my disappointment was caused mainly by having a much higher expectation of the place. Plus definitely avoid going there during bayram (holiday) times - too crowded and too many kids :)

Good location close to Karahayit village

Very good hotel near Karahayit village. They have bicycles to hire which I would recommend you to use to cycle and explore Karahayit. The outdoor thermal pools get cold in February but the indoor one is well used and facilities are excellent. Especially busy on Saturdays as local tour groups come for the weekend.

I was disappointed with our room though. Wasn't cleaned properly. There were crumbs left from previous guests' stay. The room light wouldn't switch off at all meaning we had to sleep with lights on. Even though we complained nothing was done about it. Live music at night is quite loud and can be heard from the room we were in. Having said that, we were impressed with staff and their over and beyond attitude. Ayla looked after our needs. My wife couldn't use the public pool so Ayla arranged a private pool just for us for free which was a pleasant surprise. She was in constant contact with us through WhatsApp which meant we could reach her whenever we needed something, even when she wasn't at work which was different, but a welcome and reassuring experience. She even organised our 1 day excursion of Pamukkale for us. The hotel's spa and massage facilities were awesome! Reasonably priced and exceptional service. For the price I paid it was definitely very good value for money with exceptional service. I would definitely recommend this if you ever visit Pamukkale.

I have been staying in this hotel at various times since opening.. There was problem with the heating system, chief mechanic came and the problem was solved. It is unfortunate that the technical problem could only be found by a guest who was familiar with the systems. Bathroom door could not be closed. This was a common problem with other guests I talked to. I suppose they could not find proper carpenter to fit the locks. Considering the full occupancy other little mishaps could be overlooked.

The fact the heating system malfunction and bathroom door closure problem shows overall lack of technical maintenance and of course checkin. Shower crevices had mildew.

Setting was beautiful. Hotel clean and tidy. Rooms lovely. Staff did not speak a lot of English but tried hard. Ayla Civos went the extra mile to be helpful to us and ensured we had a good stay.

On the down side there were a couple of large parties in the hotel for a few days which made it busy. There was also a wedding over three nights which was very noisy.

On the whole I would recommend.

- A nice hotel with resort qualities and nice amenities.
- Located within less 5 minute drive to Hierapolis and the tavertines of Pamulkkale.
- Clean and comfortable rooms.

Really it is very nice hotel and comfortable

I have only one note to be mentioned for the sake of the hotel which is must declare the service to guests when provided in reustrant in either dinning or breakfast if it extra or not
For example when the waiter asks what you want to drink and the guest says fruit juice please he does not say this is an extra but sign him on invoice without any explanations later the guest will discover it in checkout and he must pay

Her şeyiyle mükemmel bir otel, mükemmel bir deneyimdi. Birkaç ay sonra mutlaka tekrar gideceğim. Sadece, dansözün sahnede 15 dk kalması biraz üzdü. Daha uzun süreli oryantal show olsaydı daha eğlenceli olurdu.
