How can this even be called a hotel? It’s worse than a motel. The facilities are extremely outdated, and there’s no hot water for showers. Since it’s located right in front of Pamukkale, the sulfur smell is
also very strong.

Good option in Pamukkale. Less than 5-10min walk to the entrance of the travertines and Hierapolis. The coffee and tea available all day on the rooftop terrace was super nice. Also a great viewpoint to watch the dawn balloons over the travertines. Rooms and bathroom was clean with lots of towels. We were able to park our car right out front. And although we didn’t take advantage they do arrange balloon rides, paragliding and dervish shows for an extra fee. Pool wasn’t all that well maintained but it was October so that likely contributed.

Great little property owned and run by a son and his mother. Great homely atmosphere and dining was close by and so were the attractions. We didn’t take the attractions as apparently there is a lot of reconstruction work after an earthquake a few years ago. Otherwise recommend this place

Our family stayed here for 2 nights along with another family. The family who runs this is fantastic and does a great job of helping provide good service. The hotel is basic and simple, but they do that well. It is very convenient to the travertines and the hieropolis site, but is located slightly off the busy road (so it is nice and quiet). The AC worked great in the hot summer nights too.

Great place for two night stay. Is not immaculate but for $50 aud a night it was very good. Bed very comfortable, a/c worked great, pool very good and breakfast also very good Turkish style on rooftop. Room was clean. Shower hose leaked a little. Would recommend it. Easy walk to everything. Can recommend family run Yagmur Resturant in town.

The staff at this property were amazing! They were extremely kind and attentive. As it is a family run business, you feel at home. They really make you feel a part of the family! As for the location it is so close to the Pamukkale park (the white mountain/pools) which makes it extremely easy to see that point :)

The room itself was small but had the basics. It had a small balcony which was nice. This hotel was perfect for 1 night while we explored Pamukkale. The hotel itself is only a 5 minute walk from the thermal pools. We got to spend an entire day exploring that, along Hierapolis. Breakfast in the morning was very good and we enjoyed our time relaxing on the rooftop patio. We were most impressed by the staff - everyone was so kind. We appreciated it after a long trip!

The hotel is in a very good location, easy to find and check-in. It is only 5 min walking distance to Pamukkale travertine terraces and the ancient Roman city. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Pool is with Pamukkale mineral waters and cool, very good for refreshment after hot day spending on travertines.

Fantastic family run hotel, the family were so friendly & couldn’t do enough for us. Arranged excursions at a much lower price than booking online.
Very clean with a lovely roof terrace for food & drinks all reasonably priced. Air con was included with the room price. Lovely quiet pool area to sit & relax to enjoy the sun.
Fantastic location, 5 minute walk to the travertine’s & bars & restaurants but situated in a quiet location so no noise of an evening.

Besides the fact that the hotel was clean, there is nothing to wrote much. But it should be noted it is very close to the travertines.
Worst was the bathroom, very suffocating. On the last day the light was switched off.

The hotel was very clean. Unlike many other lower price hotels in Turkey this did not feel dated. So it’s a simple hotel, but with good location and clean and nice rooms. I recommend this hotel.

My Stay at Karvan Saray Hotel

I stayed with my family one night in the hotel. It is easy to reach from the city of Denizli. Good value for the money. Breakfast is also good. Downside is the room and the washroom are a bit to small. Breakfast starts at 8am and check out is before 10am. But if you want to keep your bags in the hotel after checking out, it is fine.

If you want to swim or go to the water around the Museum, use a lot of sun cream to avoid strong sun burn after you have left the place.

Location was excellent and breakfast was good. Rooms were dated and small. The hotel information stated self service laundry which was untrue. The air conditioning didn’t work so our room was changed for another. As two women travelling alone we felt slightly intimidated which we haven’t felt anywhere else.

Great friendly clean hotel. It was winter and the room heater was not keeping us warm. Before we could ask, the proprietor knocked on the door with an extra heater. They had a lovely warm restaurant, and roasted chestnuts on the stove and offered us a bowl of them. Filled the room with a great smell.

Friendly, helpful owner and wife of this well-located hotel with view of travertines from rooftop restaurant, buses close by to many destinations, lots of local restaurants. Good breakfast and nicely cooked dinner when we wanted it. We stayed 4 nights, and wished we'd taken a larger room. Room was not serviced during our stay, hot water a bit unreliable, and swimming pool closed - perhaps all because low season.

Horrible experience with owner

Warning...we booked a family room. It was clearly stated on the reservation that there was one parent and the three children were 10, 10 & 8. We arrived around 7 to find that our room had been assigned to a family of two parents and what looked to be about 4 children. The owner reassigned us to two rooms but as this is a motel (with the rooms opening to an outdoor courtyard - right off the street with seemingly little security) my children and I were very uncomfortable with this arrangement and expressed so to the owner. His response was that he thought it would be ok because of the kids ages (and then tried to back paddle and say he wasn't aware of the kids ages - until I brought it to his attention clearly on the booking). Anyways, beware ... if the room configuration is important to you don't expect to get the one you book. You won't be charged extra but you won't necessarily be happy either. In our case the owner did try to find us another room (insisting I'd have to cancel the booking so he wouldn't lose the commotion paid) When we weren't happy with the room at his brother's place he lied and said his cousin's place was no longer available (which it was and where we ended up staying, happily. Overall, I'd steer clear. The owner is dishonest and blatantly lied. If you're not picky about the room then the place looked decent enough for the price from the outside.

Small, basic but clean and comfortable hotel. Owner/Staff were all very helpful, corporative, and hospitable. We were greeted with free Turkish tea, smile, and free Pamukkale guide book. Breakfast on roof terrace was a refreshing experience. You can't go wrong with this hotel in a place like Pamukkale, especially at that price. And location wise, it's ideal.

Fantastic location, nice family hotel

This is a nice, cheap family hotel with a fantastic location just a short walk from the bottom of the Tavertines. This ended up being ideal, because most of the tourists tend to stay at the top of the hill and my wife and I got to enjoy an introduction to the beauty of Pammukkale without feeling immediately overwhelmed. Our room was a little smelly and the shower could have been cleaner, but the family is very nice and they serve decent food upstairs.

Smallish room but comfy enough for a short stay. Though we had an overnight bus to catch after checkout we were allowed to hang out by the pool and lobby(including taking a shower) until it was time - this was greatly appreciated!

Very nice hotel in a terrific location

We picked the Karaca because of price and location. We liked its position between the park and the sea. It was perfect for our family. We walked the boardwalk, snacked etc. We also went into the park and enjoyed its facilities. The hotel seems a bit on the older side, but in a very nice way. The room was nice, but the beds while perfectly functional are getting old, it seems like its time for new mattresses.

A very homely place with a family feel about it close to all the things you come to Pamukkale for. The lady of the house cooked a good, reasonably priced evening meal, and the slopes of the terraces are only 100mts away. Breakfast was plentiful and well presented. Altogether, a good stopover. Parking was right opposite and we were able to leave our car there the next morning while we walked the site. One piece of advice is if you don't want to climb 200mts vertically, get a taxi for 20TL to the South Gate and it's all downhill from there - bliss!!!!

Good for one night stay

We arrived at 7am as we had caught an overnight bus and the owner have us a room and told us to check in when we were ready. Room was very spacious and clean. Unfortunately the hot water did not work when we told them about this they tried to convince us that it did work however it did not. When checking out on the website it said credit card use was available however it is not.

Great location only a short walk to Pamukkale. Owners were very friendly and they provided us with breakfast two mornings even though we only were staying one night.

Évidemment pour le prix proposé on ne peut pas demander le service d’un hôtel 5 étoiles. Pour le prix, c’est convenable. Juste décevant d’avoir retrouvé des cheveux sur les couettes, pas sûre qu’elles aient été changées. Et dommage pour la propreté générale, certains endroits sont vraiment très propres tandis que d’autres son vraiment sales. Sinon parfait pour ceux qui veulent juste un endroit pour dormir.

Todo el personal es súper amable y atento. Hassan y su familia son muy amables.Me dejaron entrar antes de la hora del check-in y me dieron una habitación más linda ya que tenían lugar. Tienen un restaurante y una piscina (grande y limpia), ideal para los calores extremos del verano. La ubicación es de lo mejor. En el centro rodeado de lugares para comer, tiendas de souvenir, supermercados, etc. Se llega en unos pocos minutos al Parque Pamukkale, se ve desde el hotel. Está enfrente a la estación de bus que lleva a la terminal de buses y trenes por 35 liras.
Camas súper amplias y cómodas, todo muy limpio. El personal atento y dispuesto a recomendar y aconsejar.
Solo a modo de sugerencia: sería bueno tener una mini heladera en el cuarto considerando las altas temperaturas. El aire acondicionado funciona perfecto. Otro aspecto a considerar es que la ducha de mano podría tener un lugar para mantenerla fija que funcione.
Las cortinas no son oscuras entonces entra mucha luz (pero por lo que vi, ocurre en todos lados en Turquía, se ve que están acostumbrados a dormir con luz.)
Podrían poner shampoo y crema enjuague a modo se cortesía.
Ofrecen gratis té, café, etc. a cualsuier hora.

走路去棉堡很近，旅館周圍屬於比較鄉間，晚上很安靜，附近的旅館都差不多，都很普通，選在這裡住宿，只因為近棉堡。
