This is a little unfair because our reservation was changed to Melrose Viewpoint Hotel. As Melrose House was under renovation. What I liked about Melrose Viewpoint Hotel: Location, close to some really good restaurants. Staff was very helpful. The hotel looks great from the outside. What I did not enjoy: No elavator so if you have lots of luggage and your on the 2nd floor, your out of luck. However the gentleman at reception did help me. Only one working light in the bedroom and had to be turned on and off from the door. The room was extremly basic but they are trying and I see they are in the process of upgrading.

A quiet comfortable family-run hotel within walking distance to the gates to Hieropolis and the unbelievably beautiful travertine pools. There were many other guests we saw only at breakfast, which was generous in portions and varied in content. Nice pool, comfortable furniture around it. There’s always someone at reception, and the neighborhood is a small village with dainty cats and docile dogs.

This hotel is okay. Clean room and nice pool area. But up to the 4th floor with no elevator; 6 deck chairs around the pool so not enough seating; below average breakfast for Turkey. No late check out and breakfast between 8-10 only makes it a bit tricky to visit the attractions early and/or come back to clean up afterwards. It is probably priced about 20 Euros over-priced relative to other places we have stayed over the last three weeks. Again, an ok place to stay with friendly staff but nothing special.

The setting of the hotel was quaint. The owner is very graceful and a good host. The room was comfortable. No elevator, though, so it was tough dealing with luggage. We had dinner, and even though the menu was limited, it was delicious! Great breakfast too! Cats in the dining area were mildly unpleasant. Small, but practical parking lot. Overall, a good experience.

Dinner was not extraordinary…
For breakfast, they didn’t talk to us.
You sit at a table and they bring you a plate with a turkish breakfast.
You have to help yourself for tea and coffee (or juice).
You cannot have a second coffee or juice as they removed everything at 10:25.
There was not flat sheet in the bed.
Only a coverlet and a duvet (without duver cover).
We only slept with the coverlet.
A bit heavy, hot and not comfy.

They can set up anything you need. Beds were very comfortable and balcony had a nice view of the balloons in the early morning. Food here at this was absolutely delicious, make sure to eat here

Rooms are large, but fairly basic. My bathroom had a sloping roof, and being tall I could not stand upright. If you're tall I suggest mentioning that when you book. Other than that it was perfectly acceptable for the price. Only a few minutes drive to the travertines.

This property was perfect for our short stay while visiting Pamukkale. The rooms are clean and quiet and the hotel is in a calm area of town. It is a little farther away from the city center, but is near the bus station so it is very accessible. The staff were very kind and allowed us to check in early after our overnight bus. They also happily arranged airport transfer for us and gave us stellar ice-cream recommendations. The property itself is beautiful with nice flowers and a pool we were able to enjoy on our down time. Being such a tourist-y location, it is easy to get swindled in Pamukkale, but this hotel is pretty, safe and feels like a genuine experience!

The owner and the staff were lovely and welcoming. The price was great value, the room suited us just fine for a family of four. We had lunch in the restaurant which was delicious and dining in the garden was relaxing. The pool are was lovely and the location was just a short walk from the center of the village. Breakfast far exceeded any expectations and should not be missed.
There were a few signs of wear and tear which could be easily rectified but nothing so important as to warrant complaint.
Overall a lovely spot and lovely people.

If I had to make one negative comment about breakfast, it was the extra payment for eggs. Also, the round bed looks good but my legs kept falling off the edges!

This is a great hotel within walking distance of the shops and the park at the base of the Pamukkale terraces.
The staff are friendly and helpful and speak English and Turkish. The room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast plentiful and tasty and the pool refreshing. We stayed for two nights and would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay.

We stayed only for one night stopping off from the train in Denizli to visit Pamukkale and Heirapolis on the way to Oludeniz.

Everything was very comfortable. The room was clean and comfortable, the service was excellent. The owner reserved a taxi for us the next morning and continued on our journey. My only regret is that we didnt stay an extra night.

The hotel owner was very communicative. They upgraded our rooms for free and provided us with free breakfast and dinner. The location was a 10 minute walk to the travertines and there was free onsite parking for our rental car. They offered us free welcome drinks when we checked in from our long drive and helped carry our luggage to our room on the third floor. Please note, there is no elevator. The hotel is clean and the AC worked excellent. The room includes a fridge and TV. The beds felt amazing! Soft mattresses and pillows. The room was wonderfully interior decorated. There was a balcony and a stunning view of the travertines and a mosque. The dinner was huge and delicious! They also gave us a farewell gift of local coffee. Excellent hospitality and it felt like home. We would definitely come back!

Really want to write positive things about this hotel but there is simply none. The room was small and dirty. The ceiling in the bathroom looks like it is going to collapse anything. Only 2 lights in the room were working. Everything is in poor condition,

The reception will try to convince you to go a restaurant and even offered to send you there.

The breakfast is mediocre at best.

The price to value ratio is definitely poor. There are probably much better alternatives to this run down and dilapidated hotel.

The pool area is small and the sun beds had seen better days, though new ones were delivered the day we left.

Our room was clean with a nice bathroom, the bed was huge, really comfortable with lovely pillows.
We didn’t have dinner at hotel so can’t comment on that , but the the portions looked very generous.
Air conditioning was excellent ,which was needed as day time temps rose to 42 + we actually woke up cold during the night.
Great WiFi.
breakfast was a Turkish buffet style. Lots of choice if you like that kind of breakfast.

This places looks like it was recently renovated, so the dining area, outdoor pool and patio/lounge, and corridors to the rooms look new and aesthetically pleasing. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place if you are planning on staying in Pamukkale for 1-2 nights. It is located a little outside of the city center, but I actually consider this a positive feature. Some of the downtown businesses near the travetines (mainly this one outdoor pool establishment) play ridiculously loud club/pop music during the late afternoon/early evening. I imagine, if you stayed in a hotel near that area, it would be kind of annoying if you are trying to take a quick nap in the middle of a hot afternoon. Pamukkale is a very small town--you can easily walk anywhere--so even from this hotel's location, it takes 10 minutes maximum to walk from the hotel to the base of the travertine entrance.

The breakfast included also offers an adequate selection. Most of what is available follows a traditional Turkish breakfast spread. My native Turk husband had very little to complain about. We also experienced very good customer service. Our shower drain was clogged on the first day, but it was quickly and quietly fixed by the hotel staff while we were exploring Hieropolis during the day.

For the price, I don't think you can ask for much more in Pamukkale than what this hotel has to offer.

However there was no carpet in the room, which may be a problem during the cold season. Breakfast selection was okay, however the \"hot\" food was cold despite a warmer in place.
