Staff was very courteous. The room was clean, freshly painted and they came and serviced the room one day during my stay which was very nice. The room was heavily fragranced with a vanilla air freshener that set off my allergies so that was unpleasant but not a huge problem. The biggest issue I had was it seems a particular type of worker used the room adjacent to mine and the guests were very VERY loud and easy to hear through the walls.

Parking was good right up front but room was filthy with bugs all over especially on the ceiling which made it impossible to sleep and was waste of money, bathroom was dirty and fridge had previous guest food left in it.
I avtually would like a refund as i got sick from staying there and just tje thought of it is making me want to puke right now.

Woken about 2AM by an older woman from India glaring--Angry ghost? Room 12 only single sheet- fumes in room from updating. Needs a desk and chair. Young boy at counter didn't give internet password. Noisy woken again at 4.28AM by loud pickup trucks on highway. beautiful setting next to large corn field and view of Mt. Baker- Believed spied on by hosts.

I didn’t actually stay at this hotel. I am Canadian and was looking for a hotel in Canada. When searching on hotels.com I mistakenly assumed they would filter our hotels in another country…so I booked a room and only a few minutes later realized it was in the USA. I immediately tried to cancel the reservation, but because I didn’t purchase the additional cancellation insurance I was told there was nothing they could do.

The room had food stains on the ceiling and wall. There was scratch marks on the door. We had someone trying to get in the room because when we woke up, the door was pushed in a little thank God there was a top lock. This was just not a good spot and especially if you have kids, not good at all.

Our experience at this inn was absolutely phenomenal—truly deserving of more than 5 stars! From the moment we checked in, everything was seamless and fast. We had booked two rooms for our family trip from San Diego to explore Vancouver and the surrounding nature, and the owner went above and beyond to place us in conveniently located rooms with beautiful mountain and nature views—perfect for sightseeing and even a few photoshoots!

The rooms were spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed: comfy beds, a fridge, microwave, office space, and more. The peaceful neighborhood and abundance of parking (including spots right in front of the rooms and even in the open field) made our stay even more relaxing. We especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere—ideal for winding down after a day of adventures.

And the windmill design? Such a charming and unique touch!

We will definitely be back if we find ourselves visiting Washington state again. Highly recommend!

Some the outside. It looks nice. And the rooms in the front probably are. But the rooms they will put you in are extremely dirty, falling apart and uncomfortable. There's only a single piece of drywall separating you from the other rooms. The bathroom window doesn't lock so someone could get in and if you're standing near the bathroom window after the shower Beware. Someone can see in.

Although our room was clean, .there were a few things First off the Manager/Owner was quick to address our issues. They appear to be doing Reno’s which will make this Motel up to date.
Our room was clean…large spacious but was missing towels, toilet paper and light bulbs. And we couldn’t deadbolt the outside door.

I would stay here again. They were accommodating to our concerns. But just don’t expect anything fancy. Our room was basic and that was all we needed for our quick stay.

Upon entering hotel, loud talk radio was playing no one was at the front desk. I called the number. A lady walked into office and did not turn the music down. Had to talk with an elevated voice. The entire time went to room. There was a key left in the door knob which we could not remove Front desk Lady sent over what I’m assuming is their handyman an elderly gentleman he wiggled and wiggled the key finally got the key unjammed, then left we had issues locking, and then removing the key from the door knob. toilet paper roll holder was broken. With less than a 1/3 of a roll to use The rooms are very outdated and in disrepair very small room with two full-size beds, barely squeezed in hardly any room to move around the air conditioner is barely hanging on in the window one slight bump and it’ll probably fall out the window. The refrigerator has old nasty water that froze in it totally not worth the hundred dollars.

We showed up and the woman asked if we had dogs. I saw that the motel was animal friendly. I told her we had dogs, 3 of them. Then she said the cost is $40. Each. And they had to stay in a kennel because she said that people complain about dirty rooms is dogs were allowed. So our dogs stayed in our vehicle. We went in side and the carpet was filthy but there was no bed bugs and the sheets were clean. The tv control was warn out so had to use the buttons on the tv. So we will never stay at this place again. The reason we did stay was because there were good reviews. Well it’s not good.

I like the fact that they were close to stores restaurants and the fairgrounds easy walking distance they're doing a lot of work on the place it looks like and I think they are trying to do a good job of improving the buildings. The Pro's: The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room we stayed in was very quiet. There were two windows with beautiful views. The room had good heat, there was a small fridge with a freezer that was very helpful (not the cleanest). The room also had a microwave. Bedding was clean. There was cable and WiFi.

The Con's: The room looked well used. There were scratches in the paint through the bathroom. The furniture was stained and well used. There were stains and small holes in the walls. The carpets had stains and runs in it. The toilet seat needed to be replaced. And there was no coffee pot.

Overall it was alright to sleep there but I would probably not return or recommend it. Sorry

When I checked in, the child at the desk gave me a key to a room that was occupied. Not once, but twice! Boy those were awkward conversations.

Once we got a room to ourselves, had to barricade the doors so the same wouldn’t happen to us.

Rooms are nominally non-smoking but smell like smoke. Hair and dirt in the sheets; likely hasn’t been washed between guests. Mold and leftover food in cupboards.

Overall a miserable experience- wouldn’t do this even if it were free; a tent would’ve been a more peaceful stay!

We stayed to work but couldn’t take it , the floor was kinda damp and smelled like sewer . We only got two towels and a molding coffee maker. The fridge didn’t keep our food cold but froze in the back.

Comfortable, quirky little place

It's a small, dated place on the edge of town. Overall, it's not a bag place. The beds are comfortable and everything is clean. Be aware though, there is an RV park of sorts on the back side of the place. There is a phone number on the front door to call to check in or out since they are rarely in the office. If you don't call, you could be standing there for a long time. The a/c in the room was not working. The fan part of it worked, but the cooling was non existent. So, the room was overly warm (late July). Like I said, it's comfortable, if you don't mind some interesting little quirks.

I had a bad experience here. The room I originally paid for had a giant green stain on the sheets down to the mattress pad. I asked for sheets but ended up taking a smaller room. The shower sucked. Water would get all over the wood laminate floor from the way the curtain bar was installed. I ended up staying almost an extra month with a smelly refrigerator that made the food taste like ass and a giant gap under the door bringing in the outdoors and one huge ant. I did pay less for the second half of the stay but I should have went somewhere else. Beware of ghost that did meth and tried to kill me!

I just have to say this place makes Motel 6 look like the Four Seasons. Its all around what I'd personally consider a half a star if anything. Its real gross inside the carpets probably the most disgusting thing in there. The back door to the patio has no lock so just anyone can walk in at any moment. It felt really unsafe. I wasnt able to get any sleep on account of feeling so unsafe. Theres holes all over the ceiling, I'm not sure why. I truly would have probably been better off sleeping in my car. Yikes!!

Hotels.com says 24 hour front desk. Windmill website says 24 hours. Double checked because i knew i would arrive late. Signs all over the door say ring bell for service after 9 pm. 2 separate numbers to call. 1 out of service. The other no answer. After multiple calls and a message at 1 am after 12 + hours on the road i left and had to pay double for a bed. Just ridiculous

Motel is old and a bit battered, but the room is clean, bed is comfortable; mini fridge, microwave, big tv, wifi. A person with longer legs might not fit behind the sink to sit on the toilet. Traffic noise was minimal last night. There is fast food and a Grocery Outlet nearby. And, the price was right.

It is unfortunately close to a major highway and not well-insulated, so the air conditioner serves as a muffler for road noise and hums all night. I knew it was old but couldn't believe all the chipped paint, broken floor tiles, chipped sink and very unsafe railing going up the stairs to the room. In desperate need of updating. The description claims non-smoking, however, it is a complete ashtray when you enter the room. It may no longer be smoking permitted, but at one point it was chain-smoked in.

Our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The grounds were beautiful and scenic. We chose the location for the cute windmill and price. The room was very small and attached to the living room of the family that owns the hotel so we were not comfortable to speak freely or conduct ourselves how we would have liked so as not to be heard or disturbed by them. We also heard their family most of the time so it wasn't private but it was alright for the price. It would be an ideal location if the accommodations were slightly better and only monthly renters OR short term stays but not both were guests. We were mostly satisfied.
