* The location was exactly as described with just a 15 minute stroll into the city centre.
* We always managed to park in the car park and there were always some spare spaces as well
* High ceilings meant that the apartment didn’t get over hot during the recent heatwave.
* If you needed anything there was a Tesco Express just around the corner.
* Although there was a pub nearby we actually didn’t hear any noise in the evening or night time.

Cons
* The legs on the chair in the apartment were only held on by 3 screws (not 4) so I reported it but never received a call back.
* The toilet leaked when it was flushed. We told the cleaner as he was cleaning upstairs and he said he’d report it. Again we heard nothing back.
* There was also a hole cut in the ceiling in the wardrobe… no idea why.
* It’d be nice if the full length mirror was on the wall rather than behind the wardrobe door meaning you could only open 1 door of the wardrobe.
* Overall it felt like there was no attention to detail… dust was in the corners of the room, a set of tie backs had been removed from the curtains but the holes left had not been filled in, there is a safe in the wardrobe, but it doesn’t work, a couple of the towels had seen better day

Very comfy and modern apartment

I was really impressed with number 82, the correspondence when I booked the room was brilliant, and I wasn’t disappointed when I arrived. I actually stayed here twice in quick succession. It was very convenient having a kitchen, and a very modern one at that, the bath in the middle of the room was an odd but wonderful addition, and the room had been finished to a high spec. I like the automated key safe check in and it felt like a nice private place. It’s far enough out of town that isn’t too busy but close enough that you can walk in which is ideal.
There was a few things I would recommend improving in order for this to be a 5star, only small things but nonetheless worth looking at, the room itself was very dark, you couldn’t roll up the blinds on the one window in the room, so when you entered the room at any time it was very dark at all times of day, there was a random tablet charging on the dresser but with no instructions of what for or how to use, I do think hotel rooms should really have smart TVs now as who really watches live television anymore everybody just wants to stream from their devices to the television. The room probably could’ve done with a deeper clean as well. The kitchen could do with a few more utensils like some scissors and potentially the basics like salt. Overall i was very happy, really high quality room, a nice place.

A fine place to stay, if fine is what you desire.

The location was nice, but the bed wasn't king size as advertised. A robe and slippers were advertised but there was no robe and slippers were unfortunately one size fits all (unless you have regular man sized feet).

Kitchen utensils were dirty, particularly those kept in the window such as spatulas and pizza cutters. Mirror was also filthy.

Generally ok, mostly comfortable, but expected more for the price point

The entrance to my room (entrance 2)down dark, unlit, alleyways, or behind big rubbish bins, so be careful which you book!

The room was very hot, it was very noisy when trying to sleep. The sound of traffic and people outside was a constant disturbance. The towels were very rough and should be replaced. The bathroom toiletries had not been refilled and there was hardly any left. The bathroom could have been cleaner. We were woken by the fire alarm going off which was a false alarm.

It’s ok, nothing special.

Once upon a time I believe the place was luxurious but now it needs some love and care, paint and new furniture.
It’s run down, it’s a gamble to open windows as can’t be sure whether it’ll stay in or fall out.
Also, the windows are not double glazed so it’s pretty loud. When taking shower had to turn the water off otherwise it’d flood the bathroom as water wouldn’t run away.
It’s convenient location if needed to walk into the city centre, with a small Tesco store next door.
It’s ok but definitely looks better in pictures than real life.

Disappointed 2 Night Stay

The hotel is in need of serious refurbishment. I had booked a room with a King size bed but was told on the day that my room had been changed due to maintenance reasons. I was given a smaller room with a double bed. The room was extremely warm when i went to open the windows , the window latches were broken and could not secure the windows. I asked for another room for my second night, which was cooler but was also in need of refurbishment. The lady on reception was most apologetic but there was not much she could do.

Not quite what I expected

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night but was supposed to be 2. The reception rang to check confirmation details code etc. when we arrived all went smoothly but on entering the building the electronic door lock was broken and was easy to push open. The lobby smelt of an inappropriate smoked substance very strongly. The room appeared cleaned but having taken my shoes off it was sticky. The bed sheets were cleaned but stained with dirt and biro. When we woke up in the morning the smell had gone in the corridor but returned a few hours later - a lot stronger. This didn’t disappear and made me uncomfortable with the broken external door so we decided to leave early. If you are looking for a place to close to Norwich, it would suit. As long as the door was fixed. Not sure we would return.
There was free parking on site.

Cleanliness could have been better but the biggest issue was no heating or hot water for the 2 nights we were there which totally ruined the weekend. Honestly if you are going to visit in the area I would say, don’t waste your hard earned money, stay elsewhere. Definitely not worth the cost or the risk of having cold showers during your stay.

I complained to the manager on our departure who has since sent me an email offering us a free 3 night stay as compensation. My answer I’m afraid will be ‘no82nothanks’.

Wouldn’t recommend for families, we got put on the top floor even though we booked for 2 adults and 1 child knowing we had a pram, this was a struggle getting it up and down the very steep stairs every day. We did ask to swap for a ground floor room, however the room they allocated us you couldn’t swing a cat in it so I don’t know where we was meant to put the cot, so we had to resort back to the original room.

We also had to wait 3 hours to check in due to house keeping, however as you can see from the pictures there’s no way this room was cleaned. I’m not even convinced the sheets were changed, on one of the pictures you can see blood on the bedsheets. When we complained the sheets were changed. The room and layout is lovely but it needs a very good DEEP clean.

The location of the apartments is fab, lovely little shops/bars/cafes across the road from the property along with a Tesco for any essential bits.

The staff were very friendly and helpful however we would not stay here again mainly due to the cleanliness of the room.

Convenient location, very dusty and not so clean. Small room initially and they changed it once there was not hot water. Great parking and easy access. Did not understand how to get keys as we arrived after Concierge hours. watch the confirmation e-mail. Design of bathroom quite impractical. Very do it yourself, the complete opposite of concept of service. Very good for independent solo artists.

Two of us stayed one night in the midweek and booked the day before. The apartment hotel was very good overall in a location close to Norwich city centre with only a 15-20 min walk to the main shopping centre. There are also a few shops and a friendly pub just opposite. We only saw inside one room as seen in the official photos. It was a double room on the first floor and quickly reachable from the carpark up outdoor stairs. The carpark was not busy - we had received a message saying it was unlikely to be full (places are limited to 13 and not guaranteed). Our room had a small kitchen in the open plan bedroom area with two ceramic rings as well as microwave and fridge with freezer compartment and enough crockery and pans for two, and a separate room with shower and toilet. Tea, coffee and biscuits were provided and there was shaving and toothbrush kits in room if needed. It would be useful to have a key drop facility as there are limited concierge hours and it is unclear how to leave early other than leave keys in an unlocked room. We waited until 8.30 opening but would have preferred earlier. A call to a 24hr number was answered quickly-the person we spoke to did not have an answer to our question and could not reach anyone to find out. We also noticed some other guests had confusion checking in outside of concierge hours also calling the 24hr no. This aspect could be improved. There is at least one wheelchair accessible room on the ground floor which was identified as such.

Good location with the facilities you’d need. Decor was up to date and modern but a couple of issues for me personally. The bathroom handle was not secured meaning it came off in your hand and made it very difficult to exit the bathroom, bordering on worrying but I managed it. It was windy on my stay so could really feel the wind coming in to the room through the front door while in bed, a little draught excluding would help. The room appeared clean however after dropping the bathroom door handle and it falling under the bed, I could see that cleanliness was just surface as under the bed was filthy.

There are a few issues:

The very heavy door knob on the inside bathroom door comes completely off and nearly hit my foot! It is without the screws that secure it.

The sink is very very small. Most, except a small child, would struggle to brush their teeth in it.

Noisy pub and main road opposite but I think that depends which room you’re in as to whether this is an issue but the pub closes at midnight so not a huge issue.

The accommodation is ok, but finishes are pretty poor and in the room we stayed in it was not possible to open the window as this would have blocked access to another room! They take a security deposit but are very very slow to return it, when this should be same day. Overall it was a bit disappointing to be honest.

The property was absolutely fantastic in a good location not far from the heart of Norwich. It was really easy to find right next to a Tesco Express so easy to stock up on supplies for the kitchen in the apartment.
There're plenty of initial communications regarding the property so that was not lacking however a week before the accommodation I was sent an email about the payment being required. as I had already paid through hotels.com I mistakenly thought this was the security deposit required. Which I don't believe is mentioned in the initial booking. However I completely understand and accept the reason for the security booking this email did not relate to that
I mistakenly paid this money only to find on my first day of accommodation they then charged me for the security deposit. They tell me that this has happened because of the way hotels.com and Expedia work, but were quick to refund the money.
The room had a little bit of damage on the bathroom door however this was acknowledged in an email on arrival.
The bathtub in the lounge made for a very romantic evening the bed was incredibly comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with all the tools required to make food should it be required. The shower was perfect and the decor was classy and maintained well.
Despite the issue with the payment I would happily visit again and recommend this location.
Professional, polite, comfortable and convenient.

Arrived and given a disabled access room, which isnt an issue- however the shower was a wetroom, after showering for approximately 2 minutes i noticed rhe drain overflowing and leaking into the bathroom and eventually flooding the bedroom. Unable to shower and with a soaking wet bedroom i contacted the out of hours number - to be told they are just an answering service and have no access to managers to request a room change at this time. Left a complaint to request a new room as this one was not fit for purpose. No response or correspondence at all. The room with also unclean and the bedding covered in animal hair - bet worrying during a pandemic. Avoid.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The room we booked was quite small and we were staying 3 nights. However, after the first night a larger room became available so we were offered that. The new room was very spacious and comfortable and we even had a lovely roll top bath in the room. The kitchen had all you would need for a short stay although we didn’t need to use it. The bathroom was clean with a good shower in a large cubicle. The concierge couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful and we would hope to be able to return for another visit soon.

Beware of the surcharge

The hotel took an additional charge without my prior authorisation. I'm more than used to card swipes for extras as I stay in hotels often but this was hidden in a small font in the small print. Although this was returned I did not like the way in which it was administered and won't use this hotel again.

Also the rooms are small and crowded with far too much furniture. The pictures have been taken with wide angle lenses.

Car parking is limited. They advise you via email to arrive at 3pm to get a space which is pointless if staying on business.

I work in Norwich but I stayed in this hotel for 4 days with a friend. The studio-flat looks amazing in the pictures on the website however the pictures are deceiving. The place smells musty, the plastic floors are filthy even when we first checked in and there is no basic cleaning service. In 4 days they did not come to change the towels or pick up the rubbish. My friend had to take the rubbish down himself and the towels and ask for replacement. Moreover, the front door is always open 24 hours and anyone can enter the building from the street.
Anna and the other lady at reception are both lovely and polite. However, when my friend went to check out and handed the key politely asked another lady to come and check the room in order to maker sure that we left the room with no damages in order to get our security deposit back. The lady refused and told my friend this is not how we do it here, we check the room once I have cleaned. My friend insisted can you please come now as it only takes a minute and I want to ensure that there are no misunderstandings. The cleaner repeated no, this is not how it is done here!! My friend went to the manager and he was told the same thing. This is totally unacceptable.

The shower room although spectacular has a strong smell of mould and damp which assumed was because they were only cleaning once a week due to covid19 nd social distancing rules.

Staff were helpful, more thought needed with some equipment in the apartment. Superficially very nice, but quality comes up short. Single glazed windows, bathroom fittings not up muster, coming loose.

Basic stuff to correct cutlery dirty, and not much of it, milk off. Lights flicker, should have the microwave fitted so more worktop space, needs compact dishwasher.

The apartment we stayed in was very modern and well presented with modern shower facilities. Parking was important to as and we were able to walk from the hotel to Norwich city center (about 15 min average walk pace) .We booked a room with a king size bed and it had a very comfortable mattress. We could cook our own breakfast as there was a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and all the necessary utensils and crockery.
Since the hotel is positioning itself as luxury I would like to mention 2 little things that should be checked better at the property: how shower gel dispensers work as ours wasn't dispensing enough gel.
And the ventilation fan that is unpleasantly noisy when it is windy outside.
In general, we were very happy with our choice of hotel in Norwich.

An Uncomfortable Stay

We booked the only room with twin beds which happened to be the accessibility apartment. Except the door was ridiculously heavy with no form of door handle, so we had to slam the door every time we left or entered causing other guests to complain.
Make sure you read the small print; you'll be charged a £96 deposit for damages upon check in and you won't get it back.
The apartments are on a main road with metal humps, so also be prepared to hear relentless \"BANG BANG's\" from every car that goes across them. For the first night I couldn't identify the noise and spent the night terrified.
Overall beautiful, chic apartments. But felt eerie, uncomfortable and definitely ludicrously overpriced.

The property is definitely appealing visually and the renovations completed look good however our stay was affected by the main heating of the room not working, which is a significant issue in Norwich in December as well as a leak from the room above.
We were also disappointed that we were not offered any sort of compensation or part refund

Had an excellent overnight stay.
Very tastefully renovated. Fixtures fittings soft furnishings top quality.
Hotel easy to locate and all instructions regarding key boxes and keys etc clear.
Anna responded quickly via email to any questions, she is a lovely member of staff, very welcoming.
The Hotel is perfectly located for an easy walk into town.

Interesting and different in Bohemian location

Very modern room, extremely comfortable bed. Good bathroom and kitchen facilities. Liked the location. Although 15 min walk into Norwich, there is a Tesco express next door and the Pear Tree Inn opposite which was most welcoming.
