Lovely, friendly staff and cat. And very pretty room with nice view and pool. Convenient for travelling to Fira and Oia as bus is cheap and easy to catch. A really lovely brunch and dinner restaurant is not far from it, so provided a nice breakfast and a good supermarket at the top for convenience.

Lovely little spot. Very clean

Everything was very clean, nice scent. The bed was kind of hard, the blankets were minimal. No shsmpoos/body wash included in the bathroom. No tea/coffee in the room but there is a kettle and cups. Fridge in the room. Owners were lovely. The rooms are not sound proof, can hear people pretty clearly in the halls.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Pavlina. Our family room was clean and comfortable. It was helpful to have a refrigerator, kitchenette, and laundry drying rack.
The hotel itself was conveniently located near coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, and markets. It was a 20 minute walk to the tourist areas. We found it easy to do. It was also very refreshing to have a pool and lounge chairs to relax around. But what really stood out was Pavlina herself. She was very warm, welcoming, and helpful. She arranged pick up to and from both the port and the airport. She was great to chat with and gave us good advice. We highly recommend Villa Pavlina Hotel. It had all the amenities we needed at a reasonable price.

This property was a great budget option for Santorini and it had a little pool and nice outdoor area. However the host oddly asked us for the one Euro city tax as soon as she saw us and when I tried to relax in the very nice area near her house she came out of her house and sat at the next table. The poor maid seemed to be cleaning the place from dawn to dusk, really from 8 until 3, and there were only ten rooms, The owner seemed to show too much interest in where we were going and when we would be back. She did arrange for a taxi back for us. Just felt watched.

It’s great 4 nights with villa pavlina, she did a great service for us, pavlina and her husband doing a great place, room is comfortable and they do clean and change the sheets everyday . Pool is bit tiny but it’s added a value for the price we paid.

Also she let us to leave the bags after we check-out, till we go to the airport.

Definitely stay with her again

The service was amazing the staff was very helpful even though there was minimal staff. The location though was not my favorite. It felt very rundown, ghetto and unsafe. I never went out at night. Although one plus to the location was that there was a laundromat and a cheap gyro place across the street once you got out of your complex. Overall the stay was nice but if I go back to Santorini I would only stay in Oia.

This was a terrific stay for me, and my favorite place I stayed at in Greece. I also booked two 3-star places in Athens and Heraklion during my trip, and Villa Pavlina was a better experience than those two recent hotels. The room I stayed at had a more modern furniture and bathroom than the photos show here. The shower was a really nice step-in shower that made me feel like I was really on vacation.

Everything was very clean, and the hotel staff were all very nice. It's a family place, and they even did me a small favor printing my boarding pass free of charge. The location was better than I expected -- I originally wanted to stay in Fira but those hotels were a lot more expensive and didn't look very nice. But this hotel is about 5 minutes from the bus stop which goes straight to the airport, and I was dropped there from the ferry port too. The only thing I had to go to Fira for is the bus to Oia, and Fira was about a 20 minute walk.

The only minor things that were confusing to me, was my bed didn't have a comforter (but maybe because it was a hot summer), and I had trouble figuring out the entrance. But I did love that they dried the sheets in the sun, so they smelled of the sunshine and ocean. And they have a nice pool and lounge area outside. Finally, the hotel staff were very accessible using the Orbitz messenger and wrote back very quickly. This would be my first choice to stay at if I were to visit Santorini again, and I wish I could have stayed an extra few days.

Bit difficult to find, well tucked away off the main street. Toilet was broken on arrival, but quickly fixed. Very cosy overall, and the gals are very happy and helpful. Would stay again.

The stay was terrible I asked for two beds and to be changed from the room before entering , she didn’t want to change us. Small room and can not fit two people in there. Tiny as as they, they have ia cuboard on top of the mini bar empty no water nothing, extreamly hot weather and we where told there are two supermarkets in the area and we can buy from there. I’m discussed. The room stunk of suruge and still didn’t want to change room for us the service was terrible. I will be notifying other places about this place I paid my taxes for the place of stay and I had to pay tax again cash in hand. Disappointed! Do not recommend this place at all pick another place.

I arrived at 11pm exhausted and just wanted to check in shower and go to bed. I waited 20min as he was serving another couple and there was an issue with their booking as the hotel was over booked and had no room for them. When I finally got to check in my room was filthy and not cleaned. Sheets pulled up and not changed. towels rolled up and not changed they smelled (couldn’t believe it myself), hair and dirt everywhere, something sticky on both bedside tables. shampoo and body wash half used, toilet roll wrinkled due to being wet. The location, room and hotel itself is nice and if it was clean I would give 5 stars but unfortunately that’s not so. What’s worse is I complained and receptionist was rude and unhelpful telling me it was clean. He reluctantly gave me products and linen so I had to clean the room myself as there was no one else at that time (just terrible). He was not apologetic at all. I then spoke to the manager about it three days after who was just as rude and denied the room wasn’t cleaned and called me a liar, totally unapologetic. I didn’t want anything but an apology and I didn’t even get that. Terrible service, very dirty? Wouldn’t stay again. I have travelled the world and have never had this issue, this was the dirtiest room I’ve had but what’s worse is the terrible service and attitude of staff

Great place to stay, 15-20 min walk to Fira tho

Overall it was a great place to stay. Finding it was a little challenging for me, as it’s off the main road and down a few winding walkways. But once I located the entrance, it was no problem and check-in went smoothly. Daily cleaning service in the morning was great, and not what I’ve grown accustom to traveling throughout the rest of Greece. The room has a wall mounted AC unit that worked great—the hot July temps were not an issue. My room had two single beds side-by-side, so just be aware of that if you are expecting one bed that can fit two people. Other rooms could be different though. It worked fine for me since I was traveling solo. The internet was decent (comparatively for Greece), but don’t expect to be able to do any serious computing, however, it’s more than adequate for email and checking finances, etc. Also, make sure you know where it is in relation to the bus station. There is a bus “stop” nearby that can drop you off, but the main bus station in Fira is about a 15 min walk away. Driving took me 3-5 mins to get to Fira. There is a nice Greek gyro place right across from the hotel, which is open till about midnight for late night eats. Also, a laundry service across the street was clutch, and will do your laundry the same day for about 10-12 euro.

This hotel is a small, family run business. The owner let us check in to our room very early after arriving on a 6am flight. The pool area is small, but very nice and the hotel is quite clean. If you don't know where you are going, it can be hard to find. Make sure to turn at the breakfast restaurant \"Jerry's\" and then look for small signs that will wind you around another building. The hotel is right next to a church. It is a good 20 min walk to Fira, but only a 5 min walk to the bus stop. The owner let us store our luggage on the day we left as well.

Nice quite place.

Villa pavlina is a nice simple place. It is a bit hidden from the main road but quite safe and close to lots of facilities such us restaurants, bakery, supermarkets, travel agency to rent car or scooter. Less then 10 min by motorbike from thira.The room were quite simple and very clean with a TV nice small balcony and air-conditioning. Some bad score are for The wifI, didn't work very well in the room and the bed was not really comfortable, if you have back problem think about it. Is close to a church so the bell woke us up at 7 am but only once in 7 days!!Anyway considering how much does it cost I would definitely recommend it. The host was nice, she gave us a ride to the airport too!

We flew into Santorini after midnight. We were picked up at the airport by the owner with no hesitations free of charge. He brought us to the hotel and was so welcoming that made me feel right at home. Even during the late hour he explained where we were and how to get to our next destination. Perfect location if flying in from the airport.

No to Villa Pavlina!

In a remote difficult area to get to. Had to walk through dark alleys to get there. Had to walk up 2 flights of stairs with our suitcases with no railings on the stairs and a very loose railing at the top. The pool was clean but extremely small. The air conditioning did not cool the tiny room. The television did not turn on. We tried to call Pavlina by phone but there was no answer. The electricity went off at about 7 am and was still off when we left at 9 with no explanation. We were supposed to stay for three nights but only stayed one and had to find another place to stay. Pavlina wanted cash for the room and insisted that she did not have a credit card machine but one appeared when I told her we didn't have the cash. The area was residential and the view was of private run down homes. There was a dog that barked all night. The reception was rude. I would not suggest this place to anyone. The pictures were very deceiving.

We had a wonderful stay here in July 2014. Pavlina and her husband are very friendly and accommodating. They even provided us with free transportation from the ferry port upon our arrival and to the airport upon our departure. The villa is very nice, particularly for the amazing rate at which it is offered. We would happily stay here again if we returned to Santorini.

Most of all, Owner family are so friendly, and comparably proper price, clean, cosy place.
And fortunately I could meet nice traveller to share information, feeling, experience about world travel.
The only two thing which I was a little bit dissatisfied with are noise near reception and feather from touristy spot.
But it was not so serious, and if you have your own vehicle or motorbike everything is not so far.

While the owners were extremely friendly, the room was nothing like the pictures. there are no views from teh rooms and the beds very, very tired and uncomfortable. Furthermore the location is NOT within walking distance to any beach. The area is quiet remote and requires transport to get anywhere. Personally I would next time chose to stay in Faro or a place with a view

バルコニーにはテーブルとイス、洗濯物を干すラックがあり、便利でした。
部屋もシャワーも清潔で快適でした。
バス停からの道が少し複雑かと思いましたが、道に表示が出ていたので、それに従って行けば、すんなり到着できました。

Ci è stato cancellato il volo il giorno della partenza, abbiamo avvisato tempestivamente la struttura per comunicare che non avevamo più possibilità di andare, in quanto anche i voli nei giorni successivi erano saturi. Abbiamo comunicato anche il numero del volo cancellato a riprova di quello che è accaduto. Al telefono in modo scortese ci hanno detto di inviare una mail con quanto accaduto e la risposta alla mail è stata di poche righe, dove ci veniva detto che avevamo già pagato e quindi non avremmo avuto nessun rimborso. Non pretendevamo il rimborso dell’intero importo perché naturalmente avevamo bloccato la camera ma quanto meno bastava addebitarci 1/2 notti solo e non tutte e 4 prenotate, anche questo vuol dire fare turismo. In questo modo abbiamo perso tutti i soldi. Tra l’altro in fase di prenotazione avevamo chiesto un check out ritardato che ci è stato negato, dunque avevamo prenotato anche una notte in più rispetto a quelle che ci sarebbero servite. Sicuramente non riprenoteremo questa struttura.

Villa Pavlina a été un un immense WOW! Nous avons tout aimé de notre séjours de 2 jours à cet endroit: la gentillesse de Pavlina, la propreté et le confort de notre chambre, la magnifique petite piscine parfait pour se rafraîchir après les journées de visites sous la chaleur, la localisation… Tous les membres de notre famille donne une note de 11/10 pour ce merveilleux hébergement. Nous le recommandons énormément à tous ceux qui souhaitent visiter Sa Toronto tout en séjournant dans un endroit tranquille pas trop loin de Fira.

Nous avons été superbement bien accueilli. Les propriétaires ont fait preuve d'une grande gentillesse envers nous. Le logement etait parfait, la piscine un atout majeur. La chambre etait confortable et propre, et au calme.

Nice place

My family and I really enjoyed this lovely, quiet place, with a small swimming pool. Our room had a fridge, so food and refreshments could be stored.

Our host was very helpful, and even made arrangements for us for the transfers we had from the airport, and transfer to the Port of Santorini.

We might book here again the next time we visit Santorini, so I can recommend this place.

Η βίλα Παυλίνα είναι ένα πολύ καθαρό κατάλυμα στο Καρτεράδος.Ευγενικοί ιδιοκτήτες και ήσυχο περιβάλλον σου εξασφαλίζουν υπέροχες διακοπές. Άν εξαιρέσουμε τα μικρά μπάνια τα δωμάτια είχαν όλα όσα χρειαζόσουν . Μας άρεσε ιδιαίτερα η όμορφη αυλή με την πισίνα όπου μπορούσες να απολαύσεις τον καφέ σου μακριά από την φασαρία της πόλης. Επιπροσθέτως είναι πολύ οικονομικά

Bardzo czyste i dobrze wyposażone miejsce. Świetna lokalizacja w stosunku do ceny - do Firy 15 min spacerem lub kilka minut autobusem. Cicha i spokojna okolica. Bardzo pomocna obsługa - a dodatkowo w pokoju wszystkie potrzebne sprzęty i klimatyzacja. Byliśmy pod wrażeniem. Polecam.

Très chouette séjour !

Très chouette séjour. La chambre est très mignonne, aux couleurs de la Grèce. Petit balcon qui donne sur la piscine. Frigo à disposition, ce qui est bien pratique. Bon accueil et service ! Situation au calme au fond de petites ruelles à côté du charmante église.

La Villa est bien située, assez centrale avec des loueurs de voitures, scooters ou quads à proximité immédiate. Les propriétaires sont à peu près disponible, et nous ont aidés à réserver un taxi.

La chambre n'est en revanche vraiment pas terrible. Il fait chaud (pas de clim), le frigo se met en marche toutes les 5 minutes. Nous sommes restés une nuit et avons très mal dormi.

다른분들은 이 숙소에 어떤 낭만을 느꼈는지 모르겠습니다. 우리의 5번 방은 좁고 냄새 났습니다. 연인이랑 오지마세요, 관계 마이너스 입니다. 고대하던 그리스 산토리니 여행에 감정적으로 마이너스 되어서 실망스럽습니다. 와이파이는 목숨만 붙어 있습니다. 홍보용 사진에 속았습니다. 냄새납니다ㅠ 주인장은 청소부한테 청소하라고만 하지말고 본인이 직접 근본적인 문제를 고민해야합니다. 인증 사진 올리고 싶어도 안올려지네요. 아무튼 다시는 오고싶지 않습니다 sorry. 냄새나고 너무너무 좁아요.

Va bene per brevi soggiorni. Fuori molto bello, con piscina e cortile molto curati. La nostra camera era molto piccola, il bagno cieco aveva un buco che confinava con il bagno dei vicini. Arredamento vecchio, sopratutto il bagno. Positiva la presenza del frigo e dell’aria condizionata.

Abbiamo alloggiato per 3 notti in questa struttura.
La stanza e soprattutto il bagno sono molto piccole, ma tutto sommato pulite ed essenziali.
Gli asciugamani sono stati cambiati ogni giorno, il condizionatore è ben funzionante.
Peccato per i rumori durante la notte e per gli orari della piscina. Non è infatti possibile farsi il bagno durante la notte in quanto mettevano il medicinale per la pulizia, anche se di giorno nell'acqua c'era qualche insetto di troppo.

Complessivamente è un buon alloggio per chi sa adattarsi qualche notte, abbastanza centrale e meno costoso di quelli circortanti.

Quite area 20mins walk to Fira(Capital)

The hotel is in Karterados a nice and quite area just 20mins walk away to Fira the capital of santorini. Lots of restaurants and supermarkets around, a good bakery is totally a must try in the area . The hotel is perfectly basic, clean and comfortable. With a little pool to dip into after an extreme warm day of walking ariund. Wouldn't mind to stay again in this hotel next time we visit santorini again.
