What a unique beautiful hotel. We were welcomed warmly. Our room was very clean, comfortable and spacious The staff were all very warm and friendly. The young girl who worked in the restaurant was so sweet and kind. We appreciated the delicious breakfast as well. Thank you.

Hotel full of flies in the whole facility, including rooms and breakfast area. They provided only one bottle of water for the whole stayed, if you ask for an additional bottle they will charge you. Breakfast cheap, if you ask for eggs, extra, no towels were aloud out of the pool area. I reserved pay at the property and the charged me the day before one night. I would not recommend you this hotel for the price. Price were low and they didn’t wanted to matched with the current price.

2 night stay in Fira and we were very pleased with the Philippion. The room was clean and our balcony was private. The grounds were lovely. We didn’t use the pool but sat near it for breakfast. Location was a quick 5 min walk to all the restaurants and shops. They arranged ferry transfer and our driver felt more like a personal tour guide. Would definitely recommend for all travel purposes. Enjoy!!

This property is a short walk from town. It’s quiet and rooms are big. The breakfast was good! The only things we didn’t like were the beds were not that comfortable and the pool is unheated. But I think most hotels do not heat their pools.

The room was great and very clean. The property as a whole was in pristine shape and very well manicured. Breakfast was a nice way of finishing our stay. The only negative was the room was described as having a balcony with the volcano view. We had the volcano view, but on the first floor, you kind of felt like you were sitting in the parking lot instead of having a somewhat private balcony. Everything else was great and definitely recommend staying there!

We arrived late, around midnight, but unfortunately, we were told there was no hot water. It got fixed in the morning. In addition, we felt it was smelly in the bathroom, so we bought breach and cleaning spray to clean it ourselves. We didn’t notify the hotel, as I thought we might be picky. Other than those, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

The best place to stay for family

We stayed a total of 5 nights in room 103. This was our first family trip so I was very worried about baby different things including the safety of my newborn twin babies. However, I am quickly learnt that there was nothing to worry about! All staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the 2 lovely cleaning ladies really went out their way to help us - every day our rooms were spotless and bathroom was cleaned too. I couldn't help but apologise to them every day for the mess but they just told us to enjoy our holiday because back in UK u have to clean hahaha honestly cannot stress enough how nice this place is. There is wi-fi everywhere, the pool was always clean, breakfast had fresh food including the best Greek yoghurt I have ever had... Everything was above excellence. Location wise, it's a nice 10 mins walk from town center.

Very nice property with an incredibly friendly staff. We had a small issue with the AC in our room, and they immediately made a change and took our bags to our new room. Very professional and kind people. Also, breakfast is very good compared to other hotels. Good location as well. For sure recommend to anyone looking for a place in Fira.

The locationnos a bit far from the bus station and the central area but still within walking distance. The room was big and the bed was comfy. Should have more light in the room. There was no door or curtain to the shower which was annoyed. The reception staff members both day and night shift were super nice, friendly, helpful and polite.

a great space lacking style

The hotel is in walking distance of the town which is a plus. The room and the hotel reception really lack any appeal of any kind. They need to have a good look at other hotels and get some ideas as to how to make their space more appealing. The rooms are spacious but just lack any style whatsoever, the dining room is like a canteen style layout. The pool is lovely although the loungers are all in the shade and not on the side where you have the sun so you need to move these each morning should you wish some time relaxing in the sun. It has so much potential but needs restyling to bring it current and more marketable.

Due to the weather and cause the ferry cancelled for whole day,we lost 1 night stay in Santorini and very disappointed that the hotel refused to refund us.

Beautifully decorated in lobby.
It’s on a main road. A 10 min walk to grocery store and 15 to Fira center.
The pool area is pretty small & it’s at the back of the hotel but very pretty with nice lounge beds and umbrellas. Pool is not heated but I don’t think any are in Santorini as we asked other people we met & none of theirs were heated.

There is a small bar where you can also get light afternoon munchies & snacks.

My biggest concern with this hotel was the description of the room, we had upgraded to a ‘Seaview suite’

When we walked through our door we were initially a little disappointed, through the main door you enter a foyer or entrance area - from there is a double glass door to get to the sea view - it’s not actually in the room.

Then there’s a bedroom which was fine, nice,
a large bathroom, shower & a changing area which had a kettle & fridge.
So when we were in our bedroom we had a glass block window & no sea view unless we went out of the bedroom door into the foyer area, then we had the sea view. This set up constitutes suite.!!!

Also the room is on ground level.

The Staff were all very very nice, especially Olsee the bar, snack & pool guy.
Breakfast was served til 10 and it was sufficient, after 9 days of the same exact choice every day it was a bit much.
Saying all of this the price of the hotel was very reasonable, so we couldn’t complain it’s just when your expecting a seaview suite & you don’t get either it’s a little tough.

The hotel reception is extremely helpful. We arrived very late because of the unusual ferry schedule and they arranged the off-hours arrival transfer and let us hang around the lobby for our very late next day departure. This may not sound much but the entire island’s culture is to close the reception at 11pm. This is one of the very few hotels on the island that is open for 24 hours. Also the place is very clean, the breakfast is delicious and staff is very polite and helpful. The hotel is located within 2 minutes of walk from the city center and there is a large supermarket nearby. Our room had the white domed ceiling that gives the taste of the signature architecture. Overall I would recommend this friendly and clean place to all who would want a pleasant stay.

This is a standard hotel with no bells or whistles but where they absolutely shine is in their attention to detail, personal interest and customer service. You will not meet nicest people. They helped us with everything under the sun without us even asking. We loved them. About the room: the bed was very comfortable, the room was extremely clean and spacious. The property is located in a quiet part of town, facing the caldera but away from the crowds. A 10 min walk and you’re in the center of Fira. They offer complimentary breakfast but it’s not the best I’ve had. O5er than that I highly recommend this property!

We did 1 night in Santorini and totally lucked out on picking this hotel for our family of 4. Spacious room (and really small bathroom) that's less than 10 min walk to Fira right on the main road. Super close but without the price of being in town. Breakfast was very good as well.

We stayed here for six nights and loved it. Staff were so friendly and awesome and we felt very welcome. Special mention has to go to the awesome breakfast and the staff member that looked after this (and us so well) and also managed the pool bar. Special mention also to the room attendant who made our room brand new every day.

Property located near town , walking distance, however next to a busy road. Although this would not bother us that much there was a major issue with their usage of hot shower . I went to complain after my 9 year old stood in a cold shower waiting for the hot water to run and this had not happened . There were two rude men at the reception who had not idea how to deal with a situation. Iv been told that there is not a problem and I am not the only one complaining about this which actually is not their problem at all but mine ! They left me totally upset as also suggested that the technician will come next day to fixed this but this did not help us as we stayed only one night . In fact of their staff told us that the hotel’s boiler is just not enough to heat up the water after all their guests are using it in a same time and we should wait at least 20 min for it to reheat. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone , unless you don’t mind staying in a cold shower awaking for miracles to come .

We only stayed one night at this hotel but all our transfers were arranged for us (at an additional cost) and at check in we were welcomed and helped with our bags in a very warm and pleasant way.
The room was spotlessly clean. No view but it didn’t really matter as we were off to the ferry port in the morning. The swimming pool looked amazing but we never got a chance to use it.
The only negative points were the single beds had incredibly hard mattresses (our double bed was fine). And even though we were leaving at only 7.20 it wasn’t possible to do a packed breakfast as the breakfast isn’t made at the hotel, but is brought in.
As a base to explore Santorini, and being so close to the capital, I would return.

The hotel was located on the busy main road from the port to Fira. Our room was one of two at the front of the hotel and had a view of the caldera. Even though the room was at the front of the hotel, the noise was not bothersome. The room and bath were large. But the decor was drab. The pool was at the back of the property. Buffet breakfast was basic. The location was a short walking distance to Fira. It was also a short drive to either the ferry or airport. The hotel arranged transportation for a fee. The service was professional. The front desk staff was very helpful.

All the staff were super friendly and had loads of good tips and advice. It had a really family vibe. The decor was just like the photos, stylish, modern and clean. It was only a 5 min walk into the main town and it overlooked the volcano, plus had a perfect sunset viewing spot right outside. We were very impressed and would certainly come back again.

Disappointed about the facility. The pictures on the website are better than the reality. The room is not clean; the bathroom is old and wet. TV is small and channels are limited.
