It gives me a great pleasure to share of how lucky I was to choose the Nemesis hotel for my stay in Santorini.

Lia and Jacob, the hosts, provided me with the exceptional customer service - always smiling and willing to help and provide the advice on travel around the island, visiting the most iconic places and recommendations for dining etc. Huge thank you to Lia and Jacob for making my stay so enjoyable.

The location of the hotel was just perfect - a walking distance from the centre of Thira, the bus station (that is super helpful if you plan to travel around the island) and supermarket. Also you have an amazing view from the balcony so you can enjoy the beautiful sunset and the Thira - Oia hike starts nearby. The hosts will be able to assist you with pre-booking the taxi transfer from the airport.

I enjoyed the breakfast and my room which was very clean and comfortable with all the amenities I needed.

I recommend this hotel and I would not hesitate to stay there again on my next visit to this beautiful island.

Amazing Stay!

This boutique hotel was absolutely perfect for my needs. It felt like I was staying at a friend’s home. Jacob was an incredible host, ensuring my stay was comfortable. He was accommodating and also helped me with local things, like a map and bus timings. The location of the hotel was also perfect— a short walk to the bus station and across from a supermarket. I could also get Santorini views right from my balcony.

Our stay at Hotel Nemesis in Santorini was simply outstanding! From the moment we arrived, Lia and Jacob went out of their way to make sure all our needs were met. Their hospitality was truly above and beyond, especially when they prepared a special vegan breakfast for me every morning. This personal touch made us feel so welcome and cared for.

The hotel is in an ideal location—right at the entrance of Thira, just a short walk from the bustling streets of the city, yet far enough to enjoy peace and quiet. It's perfectly positioned near the bus terminal, grocery stores, and restaurants, making it super convenient to explore the area. Plus, it's only a 20-minute drive from the airport and 25 minutes from the ferry port, making travel a breeze.

Our room was impeccably clean every single day, with attention to detail that made the stay even more comfortable. One of the highlights was the balcony view—watching the sea and the stunning sunsets from the comfort of our room was nothing short of magical.

If you're looking for a warm, welcoming place to stay in Santorini with excellent service and great location, Hotel Nemesis is the perfect choice. I can't recommend it enough!

The hotel was comfortable and clean and the location was fairly decent especially close to the bus station. Staff was wonderful and helpful. It is definitely a three star hotel as far as amenities but that doesn’t mean the my stay was not pleasant. Depends what is important to you and I wanted something close to the bus station.

The hotel was very close to town, maybe a minute walking. A pharmacy and a mini market marked the beginning of town. Jacob was very helpful and cheery. We needed USB cable plug because ours didn't fit without a converter plug which we only had one of. Breakfast was included. Jacob called a taxi for us when we needed it, and set up a sunset catamaran cruise for us. Everyone was very friendly. Would definitely recommend. One negative, and that may have to do with the price we paid for our room, we had a view of a parking lot. We would have loved a sea view..

Clean property and room, with comfortable beds. Not loud during the night. Very friendly staff that was very helpful and made us feel welcome. The choice from the breakfast menu was great.

Certain aspects like the property itself and the breakfast buffet were on the more basic side, but this was expected from a 2-star hotel. Overall, it was great and I would highly recommend it if you’re looking for a budget friendly option.

The 5-10 minute walk to the square was great. Very easy access to restaurants etc. I had the sea view, and being so far from the water, it was just okay. It wasn't the highlight for me at all. Wifi was spotty as well, it kept connecting and disconnecting. The hotel was clean, and the room was nice. The water pressure was okay. The hotel was completely booked but I only ever saw one couple at any given time, it was really quiet and usually I felt alone. The stay didn't contribute to the cultural experience of the trip at all. It was a place to rest, and that was it really. The hotel seemed very sterile, white. I would have chosen a different hotel especially as a culture-driven solo traveler.

It's a great little hotel. Great location, great service, great price for Santorini. The breakfasts offered different choices every day. My cozy private balcony had a spectacular view of the caldera and sunsets. If I ever get to go to Santorini again, I know where I'm staying.

Great location only five minute walk to Fira.
Views can't rival the views in old Fira but the price of the room was far less. A good trade-off. Best breakfast in town and good personal service. Only drawback was the tiny bathroom with shower curtain instead of a stall. However our room was standard one. Suggest you opt for the superior one. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Wow I can believe they treat people that way!!!

****** Warning . Do not even mention about moving beds apart. Owner over reacts, invaded our privacy many twice accused us of damaging bed. Then. Mocked me and my friend for not sleeping together. They offered terrible advice on restaurant. Suppose to Have a decent view garbage in courtyard and overlook gas station and parking lot. They charged us 20 Euro for a tiny rip in the bed skirt that we did not do. They totally treated us like children.

**** please find attached pictues of so called view and lights that were so bright also pictures of the clamp that they have to get a \"professional\" to look at. Also notice how dirty under the bed is cause they cant move it, lol.

Location was good, room was very nice except air conditioning did not stay on when you remove the key from the insert that operates the electricity in the room. It is not on a separate circuit. So after being out all day in the heat it took awhile for the room to cool.
We had 2 nights and had to leave before breakfast opened the one day. We wanted to have the breakfast on arrival but were told we couldn’t. Pretty tacky.

My fiancé and I stayed here for four nights and it was amazing! It’s a family run business and they were beyond helpful/accommodating.

We took the ferry in quite late from Kos (we arrive around midnight) and they arranged a transfer for us from the port to the hotel (the island only has about 30 taxis so you need to take busses, rent a car -which we did, or schedule transfers each day). Typically reception closes at 9pm, however they waited for us to arrive and help checkin.

The room was perfect; clean, comfortable bed, spacious enough for two with all our our luggage. There was a great home cooked (and different) breakfast daily which some of the best food we ate while there. They don’t have a pool (which we at first we wanted), but we were glad we didn’t because it allowed us to explore the island more!

The hotel itself is about a 5 minute walk from the city center but far enough away you can get a quiet goodnight sleep without the noise.

We’d give the staff 10 stars if we could. They were wonderful; they helped us rent a car, we chatted with them about our plans every morning and talked about recaps in the evening and even tried to learn a little Greek while we were there :).

We would recommend to any family member or friend!

If you are thinking about staying in Santorini, I highly encourage you to stay at Nemesis. It is a 5 minute walk from Fira city center, 2 minutes walk from the bus station to bring you to Oia, and sits right along the caldera (great for sunsets). The staff are so accommodating and kind. They are willing to answer any questions you may have about the area or book you a tour (though they do not pressure tours, they have great resources if you want one). Their morning breakfast was quite enjoyable and an added addition to this great stay. I will come back again when I make my way back to this island!

Perfect Stay in Santorini

We loved our stay at Nemesis! This small family owned and operated hotel was the perfect place for our first time in Santorini. All the staff were so friendly and helpful and helped us reserve tickets for a boat trip to the caldera and an excellent wine tour, as well as transfer to the port. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding! You can tell the family loves what they do, the thoughtful touches and excellent customer service made our experience memorable. The hotel is right off the main road in Fira and a 5 minute walk to the main square. There are wonderful restaurants all within a few minute walk and there’s a large grocery store right up the road. The bus station is also on the same road and was perfect for us to quickly walk to get to Oia and the beaches. We would definitely recommend to anyone who is willing to stay just outside Fira - you will enjoy tremendous hospitality, comfort, affordability, and you will get away from the hoards of tourists and crowds from the cruiseships. The hotel was really excellent. Family run hotel. They provided exceptional customer service. Room was clean and comfortable. Single room so wasn't really large but was certainly large enough for one person. Room had a small refrigerator and small balcony. When they found out I was gluten free they prepared a special breakfast for me so let them know in advance of any dietary restrictions. I was impressed. Not right in downtown area but a short walk to all the tourist stuff and the bus Depot.

Good three days at Nemesis. Great help from the owner for arranging trips during our stay. Lovely accommodation, very clean, great breakfast, comfortable bed, lovely decor. Slight drain smell from bathroom but not uncommon in Greece. View would have been fantastic if the building across the road were demolished (not the fault of nemesis). Road noise prevented use of balcony. However overall a good hotel.

We stayed there for 2 nights. It was a quite pleasant experience. All the hotel staffs are very friendly and room is extremely clean and cozy. Very close to the dinnkng area . Quite assessable to everything within the area. Yesterday was my birthday but very kind hotel team brought cake to my room when I least expected it . Initially I thought I have no chance to cut birthday cake this year. Overall , I would definitely recommend to others.

I arranged to be collected from the airport and they were there waiting, quite late in the evening. Their correspondence via emails from the moment this booking was made was extremely helpful. Couldn't do enough for us. We only booked this hotel as we were overnighting due to an earlier day arrival in Santorini and could not book our original hotel for the extended stay. I only wish we had spent more time here, although not on the water front it is walking distance in Thira.

I was a little concerned after I had booked at the Nemesis as we had always previously stayed in 4 star hotels but because the reviews were so good I gave this a go and we were not disappointed. Ireni & Iyavko who run this accommodation could not be more hospitable; from the moment we arrived until they waved us goodbye they could not do enough for us. We were treated so well and felt so comfortable there. The whole apartment complex is spotless and buffet breakfast was very good with a different choice every day. Ireni & her son Iyavko were excellent in advising trips to take & places to visit and booked anything we wanted to do. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property as a great base in which to visit the beautiful Santorini

VERY DISAPPOINTED

My stay at the Nemesis wasn't EVENTFUL. The staff was friendly and accommodating to a certain extent. The breakfast was EXCEPTIONAL The hotel was IMMACULATE. NEAR EVERYTHING. My MAJOR ISSUE WAS with the BATHROOM. This bathroom was very small. As soon as you entered you were in front of the sink and the toilet was a foot to your right. NO AVERAGE SIZE person could take a shower without hitting themselves with the faucet or getting TANGLED up in the shower curtain. The bathroom measured at about 3 foot by 5 foot. The shower area measured at about 2 feet by 2 feet. It also became UNSAFE because the water that was SEEPING out of the shower could cause a SLIPPING HAZZARD, even though the drain was there. I'm VERY DISAPPOINTED because Nemesis was one of the first hotels that I looked into on my trip through Greece. I was in Room #2. They ADVERTISED a \"SEA VIEW \" but what i saw was the sea from a DISTANT HAZE. In between THAT DISTANCE was a DIRT FIELD and after that was the next street down with more local businesses. And from the balcony below me was a BACKYARD with SLUMPING OLD TREES. That could EASILY be a POOL or LOUNGE AREA.

Nice hotel and staff! They took care of helping us book other ferries,atvs and taxies. You must go to santo wineyards close by and walk around town. They even served us coffee and croissants when we were waiting for our taxi to leave the island. Would definitely go againworh every penny!

Nemesis is on the edge of the main town Fira. However, it is only a short walking distance to a local supermarket (3 minutes), local bus station (5 minutes) and town centre (10 minutes). It's location is ideal - far enough away to get a quiet night's sleep whilst the party in town is going on into the small hours of the morning but close enough to walk in.

With regards to service - excellent. We received an e-mail a week before arriving asking about our estimated arrival time and if we would like an airport transfer, brilliant. In addition, I noticed reception were not only helpful to guests but also anyone who passed by asking for directions. Brilliant service. Highly recommended hotel.

We rented the suite which was beautiful. Our bedroom was upstairs so we felt it was very spacious. Delicious Homemade breakfast everyday. View of the caldera everyday!! Irene was wonderful and very helpful. She booked a Spiridakos sailing cruise (capt Leo’s boat is the BEST!) And you can walk to the shopping area AND bus terminal!!! Perfect!

We absolutely loved this hotel! The rooms are clean, well-equipped, and spacious. The hotel is at a perfect location just a couple of blocks from the bus stop and the center of Fira. Good value, beautiful view and really good breakfast included. But most of all, the staff was incredibly helpful and nice! They recommended attractions, helped us with bus schedules and to rent a car. It really is the perfect place for your holidays!

Good, basic (2 star), small hotel in Fira, walking distance to plenty of restaurants, shops, bus station and tourist attractions. Room was small, had a balcony, A/C and WiFi worked well. Small bathroom with shower,safety box in the room. Breakfast buffet was small but quality of foods were good. The owners and staff at the hotel were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel location is perfect as it is close to everything but it's not in the middle of the very congested and noisy area.
Overall, a good choice of hotel in Fira.

Hospitality at its best

We had an amazing time at the Nemesis. It did not feel like a hotel. It had a “home” feeling. The owner Eirini goes above and beyond working what looks like 24/7. If she isn’t cooking, she’s cleaning or at the front desk or a the grocery story buying food for breakfast. She was very kinda and pleasant. Soft spoken and so helpful. They arranged atvs and a wine tour for us. They really know how to take care of their guests. The hotel is only a few minutes from the bus station and about 20-30 from the main center. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you Nemesis for a lovely stay. Hope to see you soon!

Great location, very clean but uncomfortable bed

This hotel is in a great location and very clean. The staff are extremely friendly and the breakfast buffet is great with lots of variety. I would have rated this hotel much higher but there were a few things that I was not happy with which are essential to us for any accommodation. Firstly, the bed was quite uncomfortable, it has a very thin inner-spring mattress and you can feel the springs when you move, so we did not rest properly. There are also no tea or coffee making facilities which is in every hotel we have ever stayed in so I found this quite unusual. We were advised we could contact reception and they would make us one whenever we wanted, but this is not convenient especially when reception closes at 9pm, so a late night cuppa before bed is out of the question. The bath towels were also very small and thin.

Best vacation in Santorini starts at Nemesis!

Nemesis is an excellent place to stay in Santorini!! Great view from our \"spotless\" room, superb breakfast for a great start and perfect location; Nemesis is located only 5 minutes from the center of Fira but it's also \"outside\" all the noise of the city. Eirini and Iakovos were the greatest! They made both my wife and I feel welcome and at home! We are both looking forward to our next visit in Santorini and Nemesis is our place to stay! Thank you Eirini & Iakovos... you guys are the BEST!

We loved all the homemade foods that Irini cooked . She and Jacob were very helpful with tourist suggestions . The Nemesis is a cute, boutique style hotel . We loved our rooms with the curly stairs up to the bedroom .the bed was very c omfortable too . The situation is lovely also . I would not hesitate to recommend the Nemesis to anyone .

Awesome stay at the Nemesis hotel!

What can I say... top notch service and attention to details. Since the minute of our early arrival, our room was ready. We were also offered a last minute catamaran trip around the island, and off we were in less than 30 minutes. Spacious rooms, balcony, super clean, good breakfast. I cannot say a bad thing about my stay at Nemesis.

Great location, great staff!

We Had such a pleasant stay here! On arrival tours were booked and atv's organised with one phone call. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with great facilities. Breakfast was delicious and included. The hotel is very central, with the town centre less than a 5 minute walk. The team was amazing and very accommodating, which made our trip even more enjoyable. Great hotel, newly renovated, clean,great location

We were there before busy tourist season started. Very good location, close to shopping, local bus, restaurants and bars. We had great view of Caldera, balcony, little fridge, safe, nice sitting area. Hotel was newly renovated, extremely clean, breakfast was good. Owners got in touch with me right after I made my reservation to help out with any question, arranged airport pick up, daily tours, restaurant suggestions just about anything.

Great location. 5 min walk from barrier which doesn't allow cars to enter the heart of Fira. Short walk to grocery store. Very clean and minimalist style. Parking not an issue (highly suggest renting atvs) Great parking and no issue with the Wi-Fi.

Stay at the Hotel Nemesis

We just left a 5-knight stay at the Nemesis. For anyone looking for a budget-friendly hotel that is clean and well-kept, consider this place. Eirini and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The Caldera view rooms have a good view of the beautiful sea and volcano. The only disappointment is that our sea view room had a view of the parking lot and some donkeys in a field with the sea far in the distance. You won't be in your room much anyway, and can look at the Caldera when you eat breakfast. A full breakfast (bacon, omelette, cereals, Greek yogurt, breads, etc.) is included in the morning too. Its maybe a 5-minute walk from the town center, so you're extremely close but far enough that it's peaceful and quiet.

Clean, comfortable, great location

Upon checking in the front receptionist was very friendly and helpful. She made sure I knew where to go and offered to help with anything. She walked me to my room where she had provided a free large water, toast, coffee, tea, croissant treats, orange juice and even a sandwich made in the fridge. The room had a strong wifi connection, the TV had great channels, and there were plenty of outlets. The location was so central to everything on the island and was in walking distance (two-three blocks) from Fira. I will definitely be staying here when I return to Santorini.

Great location and good value

Great location and good value, we have stayed at the Nemesis hotel three separate times, most recently on September 3rd and 4th, 2015. The Nemesis is located on the main road in Fira, across the street, overlooking the caldera and an abandoned building. It is only a 5 minute walk to Fira and has a large, convenient parking lot next door - especially helpful when renting a car or ATV. A grocery store is a 2 minute walk away. The newly remodeled room (#7) was spacious and beautiful, with robes and slippers provided, A/C, along with continental breakfast items (tea/coffee packets, croissants, bottled water), teakettle, and refrigerator in room. The owner, Eirini Diamantopoulou is very nice and helpful. She can reserve a car for you and have it delivered to the hotel, for no more than you would pay elsewhere. I believe that this hotel is better than a two-star rating.

Excellent Staff; Not Nemesis At All!

Hotel Nemesis is a great choice if you're in Santorini. It's near enough from the hustle & bustle of Fira & the central bus station yet far enough away from the noise. The breakfast snack included in the room price is filling enough to hold me over for lunch. Staff were very responsive to all the questions I had prior to the trip & were very accommodating.

Over priced and uncomfortable

It seems that room has been converted in studio by adding falls ceiling as after thought by putting additional wooden floor. As a result (i) stair is 60 degree steep (ii) height between wooden floor and bed corner is 5'.0\" to 5'.8\" depending on side of bed you are sleeping (ceiling is curved). So it is sure you hit the ceiling (iii) If you are not careful while climbing up you will hit ceiling as gap is low as stair is near round part. Bathroom is so tiny that you have to balance your self while taking bath and shower holder is not designed to hold shower properly. Bed room is in top floor and toilet/bathroom on floor below and hair drier and dressing table is again on upper floor.
Breakfast is bread toast, pastry item and artificially flavored fruit drink. Its lousiest breakfast spread you will ever see anywhere.
It is said apartment but no microwave. I have lived in many hotels and apartment but I have never seen such a bad mattress (not to the mark).
Over all experience is bed. Wanted to move out forgetting amount paid nearby hotel but they were booked so could not shift.

Santorini vacation

We stayed four nights. The hotel is centrally located close to bus and restaurants but very quiet. Hotel staff great and helped us a great deal. The maintenance people are continually cleaning and updating everything but not so as to be an inconvenience. Breakfast was your own coffee made with the pot and rolls and sandwiches. Ok nothing great but ok. The bathroom was spotless but on the small side. We appreciated that the shower curtain was changed after two days, again, very clean.

Came back without hesitation!

A very nice and charming family-owned establishment. Enjoy all the activities of the city, then take a 5 minutes walk back to your room to enjoy a quiet night in a cozy place! I really enjoyed my three nights stay, then several days after I got stuck on Santorini again due to a cancelled ferry. I went back to Nemesis to spend that night without any hesitation!
