Hotel is close to bus station which was super convenient for us. Hotel is on its own and feels just a short walk outside of town but still close enough. Some aspects of hotel were great and others felt old. The staff was great and helpful in giving recomendations. Borrowed an umbrella from reception which was nice. Familly run hotel it appears. Given 1 water bottle upon check in and that’s it otherwise have to purchase more from reception, was not provided one each day and can’t drink the water from the tap. Shower configuration was odd and water got everywhere as no glass in front. Had to pay 6euro tax at check out.

This hotel is in a great spot, the rooms are clean, and the pool is nice, but the rooms are a bit weird. The bathroom is right by the door, and the bed is up on a second level with low, arched ceilings that are a bit dangerous.

The Astir Thira Hotel was just on the outskirts of town. This was nice because it made for easier access in and out of town. It was a very short 3-5 minute walk.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived before check-in and our room was ready for us which made it very convenient for us.

The room was pleasantly clean and we had a nice view of the ocean off of our balcony. The only downside was that the main street separated the hotel from the balcony which made the room a little noisy during the day and early night. Later on at night it was relatively quiet.

The room was somewhat small but this seems to be a theme when traveling in Greece. There was only a small hanging area for clothing and nowhere to put your luggage or other clothing. The bathroom area had no shelving for your toiletries and only two hooks for your towels. They would do themselves a favor if they installed more shelving in the bathroom and bedroom and hooks on the backside of the bathroom door. They also need a do not disturb sign for the rooms.

The pool and surrounding area was very well maintained. Breakfast was included and was good. Staff was very friendly and always had a warm greeting.

For the ladies who like to pack a hairdryer, there is no need to pack one if you stay here. My wife said the hairdryer they have is the absolute best she has ever used and is nothing short of amazing.

We would easily stay here again.

Convenient location

Nice location walking distance to town, but also on a main, busy and sometimes noisy road. Very responsive staff. Nice swimming pool. Room and bathroom (especially the tub/shower) smaller than we were expecting for the price.

Very cute place. 5 min walk from the bus stop and even closer to shops and restaurants. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was really good. Comfy bed but the shower had issues draining. Beautiful view of the volcano.

Pleasant hotel but vey noisy room

The ratings are based on the location of the room allocated to me..

The hotel itself is good, it has a pleasant staff and is conveniently located Close to stores and restaurants.

I am a solo traveler but booked a more expensive large triple room with one double bed and one twin. Rooms with this layout were on the ground floor and since most hotels here did not have elevators or bell boys I had to choose this because I did not want to hassle with carrying the luggage.

I was shocked when I was given Room number 3, right next to the Reception and breakfast area. Outside my front door and bathroom were stairs going upstairs and also stairs going downstairs to the rooms around the pool area. Also the door to one of the wings going to rooms such as mine was near my front door. The WC was also there. Everyone going to their rooms upstairs or downstairs would pass by my room. People also kept their bags/ suitcases near my front door if they were checking out later in the day. There was plenty of activity.

My bathroom had a very small shower area with a flimsy plastic curtain and water would overflow.

I asked if there was another room available and I was shown room number 2. Wonderful room with a view of the swimming pool outside the front door and it had a tub. The receptionist checked with the owners if she could give me this room but it was denied because it was held for a couple who were arriving the next day and they had stayed here previously.

The young person who checked us in was great and even carried one of our bags up the stairs. We had a very nice room with a wonderful sunset view, though on a very busy street. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. We had to leave before breakfast and we’re not offered any kind of Takeaway option. Also, still using individual toiletry items, and no water conservation sign for towels.

The property was literally 5 mins walk into the popular town of Mykonos, where all the restaurant and stores are. The staff qre very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great. The kids loved the pool cause it stayed open till 9p.
The decor is a bit old fashion, to what you would see all over the island. The bathroom is very tight.

We only stayed here one night before leaving Santorini. The property is unique as the rooms are tastefully vintage and has a lot of charm. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The pool area is really nice. The breakfast area was clean but we left before breakfast was served. However the staff was kind enough to prepare sandwiches for our early departure. The only complaint we had was our room faces the very busy street and only thoroughfare in Santorini, it was really busy and loud. The area around the hotel is safe but not very pretty with minimal views and there are no other properties around it. The property is conveniently located a 10 min walk to lots of shopping and restaurants, a 5 min walk to grocery shopping and pharmacy. It met our needs for 1 night but I probably wouldn’t stay there again.

It's an older hotel, but the rooms were clean and had what we needed. Our balcony had a great view of the Caldera and was perfect for sitting out, having a coffee and taking in the view. The ladies at reception were lovely. We were able to check in early and leave our bags on the day we were leaving. The pool was great, especially after walking around in the heat. It's about a 5 minute walk to the bus station in Fira and close to all the shops and restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay! All of the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and always ready to point us in the right direction. The breakfast was fairly basic but had a wide selection. The hotel is also conveniently located and it was quite easy to walk to most places we wanted to visit!

The Hostess Ana was super helpful she helped us book transfers , reserve restaurants, help book tours, the breakfast buffet was good but same food every day. It’s close to Fira market (downtown) so right in the center of everything. Good place to stay for the price.

Super clean and friendly property! The whole staff was helpful and accommodating, especially Anna who helped us with several hiccups. The location is amazing: close to everything you'd want to see in Fira without all of the noise of staying in the city. I would definitely stay here again!

Pros: (1) Excellent location, ~5 minutes walk along busy path to Fira Bus terminal, and everything else Fira has to offer. (3) Quiet location. (3) Great breakfast. (4) Nice and clean room. (5) Excellent staff. (6) Nice swimming pool - gets sun until 5pm in early July,
Cons: (1) Bathroom water pressure low. (2) Faucet water salty.
Overall: Excellent. We will stay again and will recommend to anyone.

The hotel is in a good relatively quiet location and is clean and comfortable.
Staff helpful especially Angeliki.
Swimming pool was clean and refreshing. An added bonus is the amazing sunset which can be viewed from some balcony rooms, and also immediately across the road.

The hotel itself is located on a fairly busy road and walking distance to the town of Fira. The supermarket is only a 5 min. walk which is nice. The staff was very helpful in suggesting things to do, places to eat. Room was just OK, we just slept there so it was what we expected. Breakfast was very convenient and could use a bit more variety. Pool was very nice.

Convenient boutique hotel near central Fira

The staff was very helpful and friendly, and location was convenient. It’s about a 5 minute walk to shops, restaurants, and the bus station. The front of the hotel has an ocean view, but this isn’t one of the bustling terraced hotels in central Fira. Our room (#20–poolside) was clean and comfortable. The pool was appealing but not heated when we were there October 4-6. Breakfast was good. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.
