The room have no circulation. Only way to get fresh air is to open the window and the. You have all the noise including motorcycle racing conning in. Could not sleep at all. Either provide fans or do something about the noise.

Great spot in Ushuaia. It is across the street from the pier where all the water tours depart. It is one minute from the main street in town and a short ride from the airport. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Surprisingly dinner in the restaurant was terrific.

For the price, this is an old and not well maintained hotel. The room was old, dirty, with a tiny bathroom, even with a high priced room. Staff are nice and doing the best they can with what they have. It seems that management does not care.

The property for Ushuaia - right on the main street across from the Beagle Channel, with easy access to anywhere you want to go in the city and beyond. Expedia Gold members get $28 off at the spa, which is the exact price of a one hour full body deep tissue massage - the deal of the century in my opinion. Not to be missed.

The Albatros was a wonderful hotel. It was a very short walk from the port where we disembarked our cruise ship. The rooms were spacious, clean and great quality beds. The location was perfect for walking the town, shopping, dining and seeing to memorials and museums. The breakfast options are light, high on the carbs, no vegetables, minimal fruit, but everything was delicious. The street noise can be heard in the rooms but a good pair of earplugs and I slept through the night. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Ushuaia.

The restaurant is nice but definitely has scope for improvement - the restaurant staff are a bit disconnected borderlining on rude. No kettle in the room. I was told I could go get it anytime from the rsnt which was a pain (as our room was 4th floor, opposite end). But even there, the rsnt staff acted too fussy when I asked for hot water past 10pm. For the price we paid, I'd have expected more.

Big issue with checkout at 10am: really too early (never seen that in such standard hotels in my life) and as it’s just at the end of breakfast time, huge queue with only 1 person for checkout… to be changed!

Albatros Hotel is one block from shopping and across the street from the port for Antarctica expeditions. Very comfortable. Visiting in January the room could get warm so had the window open a lot. Great included breakfast. Very friendly staff. My only negative was in the middle of the night cars would race and rev their engines almost every night. But I would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast buffet was excellent with coffee, teas, juices, pastries, cereals, breads, cheeses, meats, eggs, fruits. The hotel has a pool and gym, the gym opens in the afternoon but morning exercisers can get access to the gym in the hotel next door. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. There is no air-conditioning so to cool the room, one needed to close the curtains and open the window (we were there in summer). The only complaint is the street noise (loud motorcycles going up and down the adjacent street in the wee hours of the morning).
