NO es un aparthoel porque NO tiene lobby ni recepction. No dejam cepillos ni pasta de diente en el baño, el cual tiene moho entre los azulejos, loa vasos de la cocina debimoa limpiarlos con agua caliente porque uno de ellos tenia mancha de labios de alguien que se hospedo antes. En la noche desperte doa veces porque los fuertes pasos de los vecinoa de arriba suenan extremedamente alto y parece que habian abierto la puerta. No me senti seguro y no lo recomiendo habiendo hoteles 100% seguros en las cercanias.

Staff were great and we're very accommodating. We arrived at 3pm and unfortunately, our unit wasn't ready yet and we couldn't get in till 3:40pm. It would have been great to have been notified if they needed more time. The staff did let us rest at another unit while they were preparing ours. In all fairness, I believe they were replacing mattresses in the whole building that day so I understand if they needed more time. Place was great for multiple people but the main shower was pretty small. There's also a tax to be paid in cash which were not aware of and they asked us to pay it when we arrived in person. Again - would've been great to get a heads up on that.

Porto is very hilly and this location sits at the bottom of the hill and is basically near the entry into the main part of town. It's quieter for sure, has an amazing view of the iconic bridge and there's still plenty of activities close by. However, you should be aware that there is quite a steep trek to get into the upper portion of town from where this residence. There is a fee based elevator close by however.

We had a great stay in Porto. The apartment was close to many sites. We walked all over town. The riverfront is very lively at night. Lots to do. We were able to find a parking spot right in front, then just kept renewing our time in the app. The AC worked great. The common areas inside the building (really just the landings on each floor) were dark at night. We couldn't figure out how to turn on any lights out there. The apartment was perfect for our 2 night visit to Porto.

The location and view is amazing. The staff was very helpful but all communication was via email or Whatsapp. We never got the stove top to work and the microwave only worked 30 secs at a time. There are steps to get out but only an elevator to go up. We wondered what we would do if the elevator was not working when we came home late one night!! Sleep downstairs?? The Apt was very nice and clean otherwise. You do have some killer stairs to climb to town center behind you. But easy walk to boats and bridges to cross. Great location if you don't mind a little exercise.

Great location. Close to the center and all attractions yet far enough to be quiet. Rooms were clean and AC was working great. We had a little terrace in the back which was nice to have. Parking can be difficult. We ended up finding a spot in the paid parking spot in front of the building and added E1.25 every two hours during the day so parking cost us E5 daily. Don’t need to pay anything between 5pm and 9am. You add money from the app so don’t need to be there either. Parking lots charge E50 for 72 hours. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Porto.

Nice unit with fantastic views and plenty of space for the two of us. Good facilities, kitchen, bathroom, air-conditioning, etc, only issue was we were unable to get stations on the TV, appeared it wasn’t tuned or logged in but also difficult to resolve when you don’t speak or read Spanish.

End result is I recommend this property and would stay again if in Porto.

The view of the river and one of the bridges is amazing. Check in was challenging since nobody was there to open the place for us. We had to ask one of the neighbors to call the contact number on our reservation. While we were waiting, we paid for parking along the sidewalk and later found out that this building does not have designated parking, even though the note when booking says parking is available upon request. The alternate options were paid public parking facilities and some where full or reviews rated them as unsafe. The apartment is beautiful inside, remodeled, comfortable beds, good bathroom and kitchen space. The location is close to central and very convenient.

Quaint and comfortable stay

If you are familiar with Portugal, then this place (aparthotel) will be just fine. There is no parking close by if you have your own vehicle. You will need to walk with your luggage on the streets ( unless you are dropped off close by). The self check-in was quite easy and the small elevator takes you to your floor. Communication was quite easy. The place is quiet and secure, and beds are comfortable. Place is a little compact ( including bathrooms) but adequate for our 1 night stay. You can walk by the river or to restaurants and bars close by. The place next door (which we could see) was quite run down but it didn’t affect us at all. Love the city of Porto! There’s lots to do.

Overall a great stay. Location is excellent. Very walkable and there is a bike rental a few steps away. There is a tram that took us to top of hill a few steps away. And the bridge is also a few steps away. Our unit had an alcove on second level that didn’t have any AC. So got hot in afternoons. We also had to kill a few household spiders. I would definitely rent this place again.

The stay itself once we got in the hotel was good. We were able to drop our luggage off early but were unable to check in at listed time because the room was not clean. Once we got in the room, most was clean except the kitchen area and an old cigarette in the bed room. I was able to do laundry but there is only one washer/drier so if someone else is using it, you have an issue. The apartment was nice and roomy with a bathroom upstairs and down.

This flat was a pleasant surprise. It’s a one bedroom apartment in the ground floor, with a “patio” that can be fully opened to the street. It’s location is amazing, just beyond the D Luis Bridge, on the river, but just away from the most touristy bit. Great stay!

Great location on the river. Poor communication. Description of parking is misleading. Couldn’t find the ‘laundry facility’.
The unit itself was very good, with a comfortable bed and a nice enclosed patio seating area. The kitchen was adequate, but some items weren’t clean ( sticky stuff on cutting board, some cutlery not clean). Some sort of note with facility info would be appreciated. For example, we had no idea what to do with the full garbage container, nor could we find the laundry. There is no front desk or common area. This is not a good location to have a car. Ours was towed , even though there were no signs indicating that parking wasn’t allowed. We had no assistance from the ‘hotel’ management. That was disappointing.
However, it’s a nice unit ( Dona Maria Pia) . It felt safe and was at the quiet end of the street.

Oporto Trendy River is right by the Douro River in Porto, and just a two minute walk to the Dom Luís I bridge and the famous Ribeira district. The Ride-share from the airport was only €22,00 at the time of this post, we also came in much later than planned due to flight delays.

The apartment accommodations were clean, spacious, had all the appliances with hot water boiler that was more than adequate. The host, Hugo, was also communicative. He helped when the tenant upstairs seemed to be noisier than normal, could also be because of the hardwood floors throughout. I highly recommend a stay if you want a place near the cool places to go to in the historic center of Porto.

Fantastic apartment that is modern, clean, comfortable, and with beautiful views of the Douro River. Marissa was lovely, and very helpful and thorough with our check-in - she’s the best. Our only issue was how audible the other floors were - we heard every footstep coming from the floor above, which made for a noisy stay. In fact it was noisier upstairs than it was from the street. Apart from that, a fantastic stay.

From the outside, this unit did not look like much, but inside it was very usable. We enjoyed the \"veranda\" with its view of the river and the hill topped with a monastery on the opposite river bank, even though it did not project beyond the building's facade as most verandas do. Although it was a studio (no door between the area with the bed and the rest of the unit), the bed was in a back corner, and thus out of sight of the living area. We really enjoyed our time here.

Great location, so close to the river and restaurants. Beautiful view of the ruins accross the river. We had the ground floor apartment which had a nice outdoor area at the front opening up to the street and overlooking the river. Quiet street as the apartment is at the end of the street. Bar/restaurants a few doors up which was great and only a few minutes walk to the Riberia area and the Gaia district accross the bridge. Apartment had all amenities required and there is access to washing machine/dryer if you ask, although this is not in the apartment we were provided with a key to the laundry room so we had access. Communication was by email which worked well for us but would have been better if we had local SIM so could telephone. Only downside was that if not staying a week or more there is no housekeeping so towels and sheets not changed during our stay. It would have been better if we’d been provided with at least an extra set of towels. But this doesn’t detract much from the experience. We thoroughly enjoyed Porto and the apartment and would definitely recommend.

Worth if you can afford it. Impeccable 2 floor apartment with grand view. Parking: if you're lucky get the street, it is free overnight, if luck is something you never heard of park across the bridge for about 18 euro and walk 7 min.

We loved the apartment. The location couldn't have been better. About 2 - 3 minutes along river walkway to ribiera. The funicular is 2 min from apartment. We booked the dom luis I which was a 2 BR, 2Ba. As a couple, we stayed downstairs, but there is a loft with 2 twins (set up as king) and full bath. Upstairs also has a washer (we did not use).

Only downside is the floors are very creaky. Other than that, great!

If you are not used to traveling in Europe, be aware that from the outside, you may be concerned. Several of the surrounding buildings have not been renovated. But the inside is great and the area is very safe, nice, and spectacular views of Dom Luis bridge from both bedrooms and living room.

Excellent location. We stayed on the second floor (Freixo) with a gorgeous view of the river and bridge. Comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. What keeps this from a higher rating is that you can hear when the guests on the third floor come in, leave, etc. In our case, 6AM one day and 2:30 AM another. If you are a light sleeper or bothered by hearing footsteps on the wood floor above, I recommend asking for a room on the top floor.

The location is perfect and Bruno was wonderful! He provided a map and gave us a lot of suggestions.
The place is very charming and clean. We stayed on the ground floor with a cute sunroom. The location is just next to the bridge so you are able to visit all areas of Porto.

We enjoyed our stay here as it was close to the main attractions and had a nice view right by the river. It was located near the end of the river away from the crowd. Hugo was very helpful during our checkin process. We travelled with our two children so it was nice that the building had an elevator. We stayed on the top floor and the only issues we had was that the stairs in our apartment was not very children friendly as it was quite dangerous for them. The floors were also very squeeky. We had trouble with the main washroom door as well, be careful of the lock as it wouldn't open from the inside once locked. Overall the location and the view from this apartment was great and we would recommend to our friends and family.

Amazing apartment right on the river! This place was perfect for two couples, comfy beds, and the living space opens onto river views. You walk out your door and your right at the bridge to cross over to trendier restaurants and the cable car to the top of the city is right there too. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to friends and family!

Great, spacious place to stay for a couple. We loved the location down by the river. The suggestions from the owners re eating and Places to visit were really helpful and their recommended car service to the airport was very reasonable and comfortable. The kitchen facilities were good for breakfast, teas etc. Shower, loo etc worked well, but I wouldn’t have wanted to share arrangement with another couple.Everything was spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable. WiFi worked well.

We were so pleased with our stay at Oporto Trendy River, the location can’t be beat and the studio d Mia pia we stayed in was wonderful. The apartment was very modern, exceptionally clean and the layout with the enclosed “patio” overlooking the river perfect! When we arrived we were met by Bruno, he spoke perfect English and gave us super advice on the area, what to see, restaurants etc.

Amazing space, right by the riverside

We stayed for 2 nights and we are glad we picked this hotel. Bruno was very kind and helpful. We appreciate the aesthetic of the apartment and its gorgeous location. The only complaint was that we could smell strong cigarette smoke from a neighbouring apartment. I traveled with my older mother and my young son and we were able to see everything on our Porto bucket list by walking and Uber. Space is well taken care of and safe. We would definitely come back and highly recommend!

We were warmly welcomed by the owner when we arrived. The elevator and central AC and heating were great amenities in this recently rebuilt apartment structure. We stayed in the Arrabida apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One bedroom with king size bed overlooked the river. The second very spacious bedroom with a king size bed, ensuite and sitting area was at the back of the unit. Windows overlooked the rock cliff behind the apartment. The spacious living room with balcony, dining room and well equipped kitchen were great to retire to at the end of a busy day. Perfect location with beautiful views overlooking the river and Ponte Luis bridge with just a short walk to the main tourist areas. Couldn't have found a more ideal location. Quiet, comfortable and a great home away from home.

We loved this place. Two doors down is atapas bar, a few more a little grocery store,, then a little restaurant and then just a little more and you're in the heart of the Ribeira. Great owners- responsive and caring. Set up our airport transfers for us and accommodated an early return from a boat cruise. Wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Before we arrived, the hotel management sent me detailed information regarding our check-in information. A person from hotel greeted us and walked us through everything in the apartment.
Even the apartment faces the street, our room (1 bedroom + loft style with 2 single beds) was facing the back and it was really quiet at night. Also, having 2 bathrooms was really nice for a family of 4 (no kids). I would definitely recommend this to anyone who plans to visit Porto!

Great River front location.

The view from this appartment is breathtaking. The location if very close to all the sights in Porto. Great restaurants and bars just a short walk away. My family absolutely beloved this place. Will hopefully be back again next year.

Fantastic and well located apartment in Porto

This apartment is Porto is located in a newly renovated building right next to the Ribeira in Porto. The apartment was great, secure, clean, comfortable and the owner Hugo was very welcoming and helpful. I drove to Porto and was able to park the car across the river at a very good convenient parking garage. I would definitely return and would recommend to anyone visiting Porto.

Go to Porto just to stay here!

This is the best place I've stayed with a reservation from Hotels.com ... Right where it needs to be (on the river, down the street from the heart of Porto), well maintained, and absolutely feels like home! They even have a service that delivers breakfast to your door (for, like, $10).

Terrific place to stay

Stayed in Porto 3 days with a group of friends. We all stayed here and all were happy. The location is fantastic. Close to the action but not too close. The apartments were really nice. We had the Freixo apartment which was one bedroom. It was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. Our other friends booked other apartments in the building and they all looked nice. Marta, the manager, was terrific and was always on hand to help if needed. Easily contactable by phone or email. I would be happy to stay there again

excellent stay with a poor attitude from owner

EXCELLENT listing, everything within walking distance and nice with the quite view. Be careful of calling a taxi o rpick up, its difficult with the main road being in teh front. One suggestion, teh owner could go through a training to be professional and polite, so strange, specially when people in Porto in general are so polite an dhelpful.

Riverfront location in the central part of Porto

We rented a one-bedroom apartment, beautiful, recently renovated and extremely clean. Everything was new, comfortable furniture, bed had great mattress, 2 separate heating/cooling systems for bedroom and living room.The place allows 4 people have a comfortable stay. Kitchen is fully equipped, snacks, coffee/tea, cold water and selection of juices was provided. Our host was extremely helpful, met us at the time of our arrival, was easy to communicate by phone or email, supplied us with tourist information, arranged for us an airport transfer.
Location was great: windows are overlooking riverfront, Loius I bridge and neighboring town of Gaia with the display of wine houses. A lot of restaurants, cafes and bars with live music are around for perfect night entertainment, about 10 min walk upstairs to downtown of Porto, Se, museums and shopping area.

Lots of room and perfect view!

This was a perfect location from which to explore Porto. The room was spacious (a living room, bedroom, kitchen, loft, and two bathrooms) and the downstairs bedroom had a great view of the monastery across the river. The main area of waterfront restaurants was a short walk on our side of the river, and the port houses were just across the bridge. The view was amazing, and Marta was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended! (Please note, the daytime picture is an error, but I couldn't erase it. The evening picture is the one from this hotel)

Nice apartment in a great location

My husband and I stayed in the Dona Maria Pia Studio apartment for four nights. The apartment is spacious, modern and very well equipped. Although we did not cook while we were there the apartment appeared to have everything that we would need to make our own meals. Porto is a wonderful city and the apartment is in an ideal location to explore it. There are a large number of restaurants and pubs within a short walk from the apartment and we found a mini supermarket for beer and wine and a lovely bakery close by. The port caves are also just a short walk across the bridge. The one suggestion I would make to the owner is to tell anyone arriving in Porto by train about the funicular. We had googled walking directions from the train station to the apartment and got terribly lost ending up across the bridge in Vila Nova de Gaia. If we had known about the funicular it would have saved us some anguish and a taxi ride back to the apartment.

Hidden Gem on the river

Amazing little apartment on the river bit of a gem really. Very modern and clean but unless you have a driver that knows where to go would be very difficult to find. Thankfully there is a airport shuttle service available for a price but worth it. Coffee next door,bar down about 4 doors and restaurants everywhere. Porto is a wonderful place for a weekend getaway.
