Great location on the beach! We were able to easily walk for dining and shopping and the train station was close to take day trips to other towns.

Right opposite the private beach, but you still have to pay to use sunloungers and no concession for staying at the hotel. I paid between €25 for half day fourth row to €60 for first and second row. The hotel is dated but comfortable. A/C worked great till the cleaner opened the window and I couldn’t work out why it had stopped. Bed was very comfy. Katia at the front desk was great! My minimal use of Italian was fine because she spoke excellent English to explain check-in and the hotel's services. The room was well appointed and balcony overlooking the beach perfect! Hotel seemed to cater to older folks and repeat guests which was fine because we wanted a quiet spot and this was the place. Great location and walking distance to everything in Alassio. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, lunch at the beach restaurant quick, relaxing and delicious, and all the hotel and restaurant staff were very nice and accommodating. Noticed other guest reviews complaining about having to pay for beach chairs & umbrellas - knowing that is how it works in Italy that didn't bother us. Its an optional service. We had only intended on staying one night but luckily Katia found us accommodations for the second night, despite hotel being sold out on line. I highly recommend this property for a great stay in Alassio!

Excellent Hotel on the beach front in Alassio. Fabulous check in. Service is 5 star maybe even 6 star.,,,, Clean spacious room with balcony and stunning views. Breakfast is great! Easy parking. Walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend.

Wonderful time here for two nights in January.I have stayed here several times and it never disappoints Check in was very good fast friendly .We had a lovely sea view room which was really comfortable,the bed was comfortable and bathroom well equipped.The whole Hotel is clean and well appointed.Staff are very professional and helpful Breakfast was very good ,a good choice of hot and cold food and lovely fresh fruit and breads. I highly recommend this hotel. In great area and because of time of year parking free and easily found , not the case in summer!

Great stay. Excellent location and very helpful staff. I was disappointed that the beach closed early and opened late in the morning as that meant we had very little time on the lovely private beach. Local public beach is very close so not a major problem. We shall definitely return. Lovely sea view. No major issues at all.

Very pleasant 4* hotel in a pretty seaside , with all the advantages of being in a Italy, plus the beach. No disappointments whatsoever, impeccable service. Only one surprise: particularly expensive daily rate for beach access - could have been better announced.

A very personal hotel with great service and atmosphere, located by the beach and close to the bars and restaurants. The staff was very service minded. The breakfast was outstanding! We were lucky to get an upgrade with view over the sea and the mountains. Our best recommendations for a visit in Alassio.

Check in was good. We were given an upgrade do we had a lovely room. Breakfast was ok but nothing great. We were charged €20 for our 2 small dogs at check out.
We were told this was for a cleaning fee. Highway robbery!!! We left the room spotless.

Nice hotel esp. location, outside breakfast gazebo was great.For a 4 star hotel in Italy, food was below par, except for pastry .We found the room for 2 people quite small and our window was looking at scaffolding. TV tiny .Lobby decoration not same as add.

Alassio turned out to be a gem on the Italian Riviera and this hotel was right at the beach. The room was clean and adequate. THE WiFi worked well. The hotel staff was friendly and fluent in English . Breakfast was very good. Parking was available for 20 Euros per night. I would recommend this hotel and Alassio to anyone travelling along the Italian Riviera.

Had to complain at 1,2 +5 in the morning about the lightshade and wardrobe doors shaking because of heavy stomping from room above. Reception couldnt change my room and assured me the people were leaving next day. Next 3 days exactly the same.

My friend and I really enjoyed our week in Alassio, it's a great place to go for sun, sea, sand, pizza and wine! Our hotel room was big enough for two people, with a really nice big double bed (which we discovered at the end of our trip was two single beds pushed together, but we hadn't noticed!) Nice bathroom as well but really bad hair dryer - not good if you have long, thick hair like my friend and I! No swimming pool, massages are really expensive (at least 50 euros), and 20 euros a day to use the beach, down to 12.50 euros if you want to go after 2pm (I've stayed in a different hotel in Alassio before where it was 10 euros after 2pm). Lovely to have no English people there either!

Lovely Hotel located beachside. Excellent breakfast.
The only negative aspect of our stay was the charge the Hotel made for the use of the beach facilities. They charged €44 per day for the use of an umbrella, 2 sun beds and towels which we felt was a complete rip off. As the Hotel doesn't have a pool we felt they took the opportunity to overcharge for above.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
The only negative aspect of our stay was the charge the Hotel made for the use of the beach facilities. They charged €44 per day for the use of an umbrella, 2 sun beds and towels which we felt was a complete rip off. As the Hotel doesn't have a pool we felt they took the opportunity to overcharge for above.

Arrived first day, could not find air conditioning. Called reception, will send someone. 3 days later no sign of anyone. Lucky we found the air conditioning hidden behind a pile of furniture in the corner,

It is a nice hotel but the main problem was I paid extra for a sea view room but didn't get a sea view. The room was forward facing but only on the 1st floor, you could barely see the sea at all because of the trees in front of the hotel!

Das Hotel hat seine besten Zeiten definitiv hinter sich. Aber das war mir aufgrund gewisser Bewertungen und auch aufgrund des Preises schon klar. Die „richtigen“ Gran Hotels sind viel teurer, geben aber massiv mehr her (hatte diese aber nur von aussen gesehen). Also halt wie immer „you get what you pay for“. In meinem Zimmer (es kam wohl vom Badezimmer) war echt ein fürchterlicher Geruch. Das Personal ist aber sehr freundlich.

Sicuramente è un ottimo soggiorno comodo e piacevole quindi sicuramente consigliato.

Gut gelegenes Hotel, nur über die Strasse zum Strand. Zimmer gut, viele nur Meersicht, kein Balkon. Frühstückbuffet klein. Frische Früchte, nur Scheibenkäse, keine Pecorino, Camenbert oder so. Pressschinken nicht fein geschnitten wie für Italien gewohnt. Nur einfache Kuchen. Schade, für ein 4 Sterne Hotel ist besseres zu erwarten. Preis, Leistungsverhältnis zu teuer.

Pool was closed when asked about it upon arrival. Probably due to lower season but no info regarding it. After some discussion they agreed we could use the jacuzzi in the spa for one hour.
Sofa bed was a disaster, too small for two ppl and crooked/broken.

Lite synd att det var så dyrt att boka solstolar, trodde kanske att det skulle ingå i priset. Men det är högsäsong så det kanske är svårt att undvika! Rekommenderar detta fina hotell!

Mes affaires il fallait de transférer entre deux chambre, mission presque impossible. Ça a pris deux ou plus. C’était donc compliqué de s’installer.
Tout est payant en plus, la place de parking, la piscine d’une 1,30. L’accès à la plage, les animaux. Pourtant, il s’agit d’un hôtel de 4 étoiles, 253 euros/nuit.

Très mauvais accueil et mauvaise gestion de la réception à l’arrivée et au départ : réservations faites il y a plusieurs semaines de 3 chambres dont 2 supérieures avec balcon vue sur mer et 1 classique vue partielle sur mer. A notre arrivée , malheureusement en même temps qu’un gros groupe de course de cyclistes professionnels, nous avons été déclassés par rapport aux réservations initiales: 2 chambres avec vue sur un chantier avec grues,tracteurs et bruits des travaux, pour des personnes âgées de 80ans!!! Nous n’avons pas été avertis à l’avance de ces nuisances par l’hôtel, auquel cas nous n’aurions jamais réservé dans cet hôtel .Cela fait 8 ans que nous venons régulièrement et que nous faisons les mêmes réservations, et nous avons été très déçus cette fois ci. Face à nos réclamations, on nous a proposé la même chose un étage plus haut, en disant qu’il y aurait moins de bruit et que le chantier démarrait tard.Même cafouillage au check out:on nous a demandé pourquoi nous étions passés par un site de voyage au lieu de les contacter directement, que les appellations des chambres avaient changées et n’avaient pas été mises à jour sur le site…À chaque fois les réceptionnistes nous refilaient à un nouvel interlocuteur. Aucun geste commercial pour ces désagréments.Très décevant, c’est la 1ere fois que je laisse un avis aussi négatif, à part la gentillesse du service au petit déjeuner, tout notre séjour de 48h a été gâché.

L'hotel gode di una straordinaria posizione e di una bellissima spiaggia privata (da prenotare e pagare a parte) con servizio bar e ristorazione. Camera spaziosa ed accogliente, ho dovuto impostare la climatizzazione al minimo perché rumorosa. Nella media la colazione con meravigliosa vista mare e con piacevole musica dal vivo. Ristorante con piatti buoni, con impronta più casalinga che da hotel a 4 stelle, e con un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Personale gentile e cortese. Nel complesso è stato un soggiorno piacevole.

Almeno alcuni di questi servizi dovrebbero essere sempre compresi nel costo della camera (ad esempio parcheggio ed accesso piscina). Colazione abbondante e gustosa. Personale spiaggia inadeguato ad un 4 stelle. Salvo lo chef, che cucina magnificamente, ed il cameriere piu' giovane, gentile e cortese, ma il resto un vero disastro. I nostri ospiti si sono presentati con un lieve ritardo ed il capo sala si permette di lamentarsi con me davanti a tutti che la prossima volta non mi avrebbe piu' dato il tavolo. Inconcepibile.
