I loved my stay. While friends were paying 5x the rate to be a block away this offered a reasonable price in clean, spacious rooms. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They are very wine friendly- having wine themed rooms, a wine tasting room that myself and friends (from the fancy hotel that wouldn't provide cups and wouldn't allow bottles anywhere on their roof) a place to do some tasting. There is wine on tap in the lobby - a bit pricey, but available 24h.

Only downside was the view. See picture. Otherwise a fridge was there, desk for work, and a big washroom with shower. No amenites like a pool or gym unfortunately.

Very impressed as the hotel was right in the heart of the City, walking distance to the big Square. Room was also great, considering we had 3 beds it was quite roomy & very nice looking. Good lighting & really good shower! Little fridge with water in there. Very comfortable beds. Would definitely stay here again! :)

Was a great location, central to many locations. We stayed a week and the accommodations were great. the staff were supper friendly and very helpful. they had a luggage room they stored our luggage the day we got there early while we toured the town. Breakfast was available for a fee, but was super convenient that it was there and available. The only downside i could say was the wall must have been very thin, you could hear the people in then next room. However after a long day of walking the town, we were not bothered much buy it.

It was a wonderful 2 days stay at the hotel. It was like in the middle of everything. Restaurants, pharmacy, Plaza, Carrefour express you name it, its there. The staff were amazing. Very understanding and willing to take the extra mile for you. In my next visit, ill be back, but woth out my grown up boys!!!!! Btw, they loved the place especially with the free wifi, my biys are hard to satisfy. Lastly, the breakfast was very delicious, if only they had hala food!

We loved our stay. It was mostly quiet and VERY convenient as it’s centrally located to lots of dining and tourist spots. The only thing is walls are very thin so you can hear the next person next to you doing everything. It wasn’t so much of an issue as we were mostly their for sleep. Staff was amazing and booked our taxi to the airport. They also were nice enough to lend us wall converters for our technological devices. I definitely recommend!

Cute hotel, friendly front desk. There is a small business center with computer for use. Room was simple, but bright and very clean. Neighborhood is an affluent residential area with lots of shops and the Metro close by. 2 stops to the Atocha train station. Would stay there again for sure.

Property was okay. The main issue is noise. I thought it would be loud because I know this area of Madrid is busy with bars and restaurants. It turned out to be loud from tjmthe inside. I requested a quiet room and they gave me one next to some kind of loud commercial elevator that would go off at random times. Also, wallls were thin and had to listen to the guests in the adjacent room and their tv until late hours. Other than that, the stay was fine.

Love this hotel! It’s always clean and the staff is so helpful and friendly. They were a big help in finding a lab to get the Covid test to return back to the U.S.

The location can’t be beat. We were able to walk to museums, restaurants, and shopping so easily, and it was always easy to hail a cab.

Special shout out to Javier at the front desk. We had a lot of luggage plus guitars, and he arranged for a van to take us to the airport so we didn’t have to take 2 taxis.

You cannot beat the location of this property, walking distance to tons of restaurants, bars, shopping and museums. I wasn't expecting much given compared with other properties in the area, it was on the lower end of the scale, but with the high rating, I took a chance and was glad I did! It's a basic hotel, but has everything you need and is close to so many places to see.

Stay for the location and staff, but not the rooms

The room was tiny and the window faced inward to an emergency staircase. The breakfast is not worth paying extra for since there are so many locations nearby and the hotel offerings are nothing special at all. However, the staff was extremely helpful and the location is unbeatable, with many key sites within easy walking distance.

The hotel is pleasant, quiet, and comfortable, and it offers a nice breakfast. But the best thing about it is the location--the major tourist attractions are an easy walk away, and the neighborhood it is in is interesting, full of small boutiques, and fun to walk around.

The location of this hotel is perfect. As far as the room goes, it wasn't small but it was far from large. The bed was comfortable and having the convenience of breakfast downstairs made searching for a place to have breakfast easy. The food was fresh and there were plenty of different options for folks with dietary restrictions...for instance I saw they carried gluten free cereal too.

Fabulous buffet breakfast was such a treat. My single was very well appointed with plenty of room for luggage, food, gifts, etc
The staff went out of their way to accommodate my request for late checkout and later I saw a bus load of guests checking in, so it wasn’t easy to make the accommodation with my room having to be cleaned and ready for an incoming guest. They also held my luggage all afternoon. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Madrid since it’s a gem.

Hotel was in a central location. 5-10 minutes walk to the Prado. Breakfast was good with nice options. Bed was two singles that often wanted to separate at the wrong time. It was not too noisy except in the morning when guests were changing. There is a water fountain to refill water bottles and an option to buy coffee in the lobby.

Stayed here for 2 nights with a group of friends. The first night I was on the first floor and I hardly slept - too much noise and music from the street below. The next morning I went to reception and changed rooms to the fourth floor which was fine.
Both rooms were clean and large with plenty of room to move about and store clothes etc.
Reception staff were excellent and breakfast was good. There are no coffee facilities in the room but there is a vending machine in reception to buy hot and cold drinks and snacks.

Good location, nice clean rooms, but very poor soundproofing between rooms. Was woken at all hours by guests returning to adjoining rooms. No carpet on the floors and thin walls meant you hear everything going on in the rooms around yours (and I mean everything). So if you plan to sleep soundly during your stay, might be worth considering other options.

Our group of 4 stayed there we were very happy with the place especially how close it was to restaurants/bars, shops and major Madrid attractions. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about Expedia sadly there was meant to be six of us staying but tragically the husband of one of our group tragically passed away a few days prior I understand that the booking conditions indicated there was no refund and whilst I understand rules are rules you would think a big and well known company such as Expedia would show a tiny piece of compassion in this instance but sadly no!!!!

The staff was helpful, very clean room. Only issue was that I asked for a shuttle transfer to the airport and from the hotel and was told this was paid through orbitz. Confused when I got dropped off from the airport and had to pay again so I had to call the hotel to clarify whether to pay for the driver. I also asked before this if I could pay for the shuttle service and they said everything was taken care of.

Nice, very well located hotel that cuts corners

First, a pleasant, well located hotel, with an enthusiastic staff. Rooms are reasonable in size, pleasantly appointed (ours with a lovely balcony). Price is good.

However, corners are cut -- presumably to save costs. Small matters -- no tissue in rooms, no wash cloths, breakfasts are really thin. Air conditioning has only one setting -- off or on (at freezing temperature).

This is a gem of a hotel in a GREAT LOCATION. Most important, very CLEAN, attentive and friendly staff.
Breakfast was very good, and WIFI worked perfectly for our needs. Good selection of snacks and beverages at the lobby for purchase. Many restaurant and places to eat in the surroundings.
The only complaint I have is that we had very loud room neighbors for 2 nights. We also felt they were smoking, we let the staff know and the next night we did not feel the smoke.

Madrid is a fabulous place to visit.

And this hotel was perfect. Clean rooms, modern facilities, extremely helpful staff.

What a location! In between three of the world's great museums. Many of the interesting markets and shopping areas and museums and ordinary and expensive, excellent restaurants are walkable. And by the way if you are a senior the Prado, Thyssen-B and the Reina discount your ticket-so do not buy a \"pass\".
