The staff was really nice but theres a lack either of organization or communication i was overbooked in a room of 4 i arrived past midnight so the only solution was either i accepted to be downgraded to an 8 room or they would look into another hostel to accomodate me, traveling solo at that time was not an option, so I ended up accepting, they offered me a free pass to the breakfast area, in my experience when you make a mistake you either, give the costumer what they paid for or you upgrade them not the opposite, The room that i got had the water faucet dripping the whole night, somehow the place was ok but the experience of entering in a room with 4 people already sleeping in it was weird.

For being in the center of Madrid, this place was pretty damn awesome. The people it attracted were incredibly kind and it was easy to talk to them. The receptionists were all kind and super attentive and patient. Breakfast is 6 euros, but honestly worth it for what they have. Pretty quiet for being in the center as well.

We were told the same day we were arriving Madrid that they had a last minute inconvenience with the hostel at Ventura location and we were sent to the Chueca location.
I had personally picked the Ventura location since we were only there for 2 days and I had already planned places to visit near that location.
We stayed at the Chueca Hostel, the room was comfortable, it was clean and staff was friendly, so at least that was good.
Nevertheless, we did pass by the Ventura location and realized it is closed. I had read reviews of people claiming this had happened to them but I thought that is was only in specific cases, but this hostel is definitely closed, and they tell you last minute so you don't have any other option but to stay at Chueca. Its misleading publicity and it is wrong. Booking this hostel shouldn't even be allowed.

Now, if you don't mind staying at the Chueca location, it is a good option for a few days.

DO NOT BOOK, HOTEL IS CLOSED

Awful.
I booked the hotel room on the same day I was going to be staying at it.
Go to the hotel and it is all boarded up and closed due to Covid.
Why are they selling rooms to a closed hotel!?
I eventually contact someone from the hotel who tells me to walk to a different hotel that is 15 minutes away and that the rooms are in \"there superior category\" and therefor will be nicer.
Not the case. The room was certainly not nicer and the bathroom was open plan which made for a very cold shower in tbe morning, the tv was broken too and the decor was no where near as nice as the original room we booked. The only good thing was that we at least had a comfy bed. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

My and my other 3 friends checked in at 1 am. Checking in took around 15 minutes even though there was no one else waiting in line. A few hours after in the late morning, the water was cut off and no one had informed us about this. No announcement on paper or in-person was given to me or any one else in my room. When I went downstairs to inquire about it, the receptionist told me that the repair people were called to do a repair, but they had just confirmed that same morning that they would be doing the repair between 12-4 pm that day. I asked why no one had informed us about this, but the receptionists simply said they themselves had just been informed that same morning. At the very least, I would have really appreciated some one knocking on our door or slipping a piece of paper under our door as soon as they found out about the repair man coming. Or at least, an email sent to me before checking in stating that there MAY be a water interruption during my stay - but I got none of that. At the end of our stay, I asked for a discount since all 4 of us staying in the room had to go out without being able to shower, or wash of faces, or brush our teeth for one of the days during our 3-day stay. Needless to say, no discount was offered or given to us. The room itself was tiny for 4 people, head space in the bunk beds was also lacking and the toilet, shower and sink were fully separated from each other. Sink water splashed everywhere! Overall, my stay was a bit disappointing.

Great Stay!

I can't believe this hostel was so affordable - it was very clean, the location was great and the front desk staff are very friendly. I liked that the toilet and shower are in different \"rooms.\" They also offered breakfast pastries & coffee/juice for 2 euros. Two complaints: you have to press a button in the shower every 30 seconds to keep it on & the wifi wasn't stable.
Other than that, it was a great stay!

Don’t expect the best

Hostel is located in a great location that is walking distance from the city centre. The hostel is clean and smells great. Each bed has its own light and outlet which is nice. Because of the reviews and rate of this hostel I had high expectations. Unfortunately the staff at the front desk are not the friendliest and really need to work on hospitality skills. They are not very welcoming or kind so it creates a rigid and cold ambiance. The wifi is not that strong and you can’t sit up in the bunk beds. There is a €2 charge to use the luggage room after check out.

Great home base for exploring Madrid

Great hostel, full of character! Friendly and helpful staff, great deal on dinner at the attached restaurant. Super convenient to visiting the Sol district and the palace and cathedral on foot or by train. Room spacious and bright, great facilities, our only objection that the \"double\" bed was actually two singles pushed together - not very conducive to snuggling up in bed! One tip - skip the 2€ breakfast deal unless you just want an easy meal; the breakfast was plentiful but pretty average compared with the amazing food to be found all over Madrid.

Good price and excellent location

I booked a double room with private bathroom and shower. It's located on the first floor facing the terrace so it's very noisy at night. Location is excellent. One girl at front desk can speak pretty good English but the rest is a bit difficult to communicate with as most Spanish people don't speak English. If you don't mind the noise and crowds at reception, it's a cheaper central place to consider compared to hotels. If you need good sleep, go somewhere else. Shower and water is a pain in the butt - you have to keep pressing the buttons every 5-10 seconds. I will not return to this place.

The hostel is clean and near the centre of the city. The rooms are small. Our room was directly over an open area over the bar. The a/c didn't work, so we had to have the windows open. The bar closed at 2AM, with the last patrons only leaving g by 2:30. Not much sleep that night.

Amazing place int he heart of the city

This place is amazing. It simple, affordable but extremely clean, fun and welcoming. We shared a 4-people room with my husband and our kids ages 3 and 5, and it was great. The place is in a very central location, 5-10 minute walk to Prado museum, 5 minutes to Sole, and 10-15 to the Royal Palace - can't get better than that. There is a great restaurant on the premises.

Location, location and location. We were given a map with complete infor of the attractions as well as the route to go about. we covered everything in 2 days. With family of 5, we were given a private room consists of 3 bunk bed. private and just enough as we only needed a place to rest. 24 hours front desk with helpful and cheerful staffs.

Great place, great staff

We stayed a few days at this place and tried both, a private room and a 4-bed room. Location is central and the staff are just wonderful. The only negative is the noise from the street below...which was fixed with a pair of Earplugs :)
Highly recommend it.

Hotel is on a very good location. Directly on the city and near of some big supermarkets. Our room had a little kitchen, which is good if you want to prepare some tea for your winter outdoor activities. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The WiFi was very strong and had about 4 or 5 access points. I loved my stay, about 2 days in a row, and will return whenever possible.

- we got two single beds instead of queen size bed which we booked
- during the first night there was a party in rooms around us lasting till 7 am which made sleeping impossible

- despite daily cleaning it is not very clean

Really Amazing, just three small issues ;-)

What an amazing place to stay. As you walk in you don't really feel a 'hostel' presence. It's young, vibrant and hip and the people at the desk even spoke Portuguese ( not common in Spain!!) We booked a double room, which was very comfortable and clean. It's near all the major places and the metro stations of Sol and Sevilla are really close. I would suggest you take the Metro to Sol and continue straight down to the Hotel. There were only two small issues1) There isn't much signage showing the Hostel off, we walked all the way down and up again. So keep a look out for the place 2) When showering the water goes off, this is to save water (yes its green and environment, but irritating) 2) Our room was near a bar downstairs. It's not a major complaint as Madrid is the party capital, but the noise was a bit too much when we arrived at 4am. So if you want some peace and quiet, make sure you don't book this room. Other than that, James Bond has nothing on Ventura 007!! :D

We stayed here for one night before flying out from Madrid the following morning. It is a hostel, but a comfortable and well-equipped one. The front desk staff are very nice and helpful. Its beds are surprisingly comfortable, and the decor hip and well-designed. Its breakfast is good and reasonably priced. It is quiet and located in a great part of Madrid. The one thing that was unclear from the site is that they do not have their own airport shuttle. You actually have to walk about ten minutes away to catch a shared bus in the city, which would have been nice to know with 60 kilos of baggage. However, it wasn't that big of a deal, and next time I'm in Madrid I'd love to stay here again.

This was the first time I stayed in a youth hostel. We stayed as a family in a 4 person room (two bunk beds). It was all right and a good new experience.

One of the staff gave us a walking tour for tips that was good. She recommended a nearby restaurant called La Taberna del Marciano on Calle Cadiz 4. It was a good value for the menu del dia. I recommend the restaurant.

This is definitely a youth hostel, so I don't think business travelers would like it.

It is about a 20 - 25 minute walk from the Atocha train station.

We stayed in a fantastic private room with ensuite bathroom at a similar cost of a shared dorm and equal to hotel standards. The hostel is in a really good location only minutes from Sol and a short walk to everywhere else with restaurants and bars also close by. The staff are also great even after rolling in roaring drunk at 6am on new years morning! The kitchen area is a little poor as its just two microwaves and a vending machine with loads of ashtrays but only a few plates and cups to fight over.

Sentado en la cama, tenes que estar encorbado.
La bacha del aseo muy ruidosa, a quien se le ocurre que sea de metal? Abris el grifo y se entera la habitacion.
No puede ser que no alla ventilador.
La decoracion va para atras.
La cara de amargada y lo maleducada por no saludar de la directora deja al hostel en -10 en hospitalidad.
Lo que rescato como favorable es la ubicacion.
Asi y todo lo recomiendo al hostel para no ir.
Y LA SEÑORA FLO UNA GENIA, MANDENLE MIS SALUDOS DE GABRIEL.

Pasé solamente una noche y fue el primer hostal en mi vida al que me hospedé, iba sola y sinceramente me sorprendió, las personas con las que comparti habitación eran muy educadas, todos respetamos y descansamos súper bien, aparte que para ser mi primer viaje sola la ubicación estuvo fantástica porque incluso pude salir en la noche a caminar por sol y recorrer de noche plaza mayor, la chocolatería y después tranquilamente me regresé a dormir, tenía un locker y ahí metí las cosas de valor, mi mochila con cosas de aseo y así solo la puse abajo de la cama, también te cobran 5 euros por la llave pero al final te la regresan, también te proporcionan una toalla entonces es un plus más, planeo regresar en otra ocasión y recomendársela a mis amigos, también fueron muy lindos conmigo en recepción, me contestaban los buenos días y todo, 10/10

Şehir merkezinde, her yere yürüyerek ulaşabiliyorsunuz. Madrid'in ünlü sol meydanının yanı başında. Havalimanı otobüs durağı Cibelese yürüyerek 10 Dk. Kahvaltı fena değildi.biz 2 kişilik odada kaldık. soğutma sistemi aşırı gürültülü çalıştığı için uyumakta problem yaşadık. kapatınca da doğal olarak sıcak oluyordu. Hergün banyo temizleniyordu ama odanın tamamı temizlenmiyordu. Resepsiyonda bir genç bir bey arkadaş vardı. Özellikle ona kuçak dolusu sevgiler. Çok fazla yardımcı oldu bize.

Hôtel beaucoup trop bruyant, les portes claquent, sans cesse autant le jour que la nuit.. beaucoup trop de jeunes qui n’ont aucun respect pour les autres!
Les lits sont les plus inconfortables que j’ai vu avec de gros trous en plein milieu, nous l’avons mentionné à la réception et à l’employé de la maintenance, ils nous ont dit qu’ils étaient vieux, mais qu’ils ne pouvaient rien faire. la propreté laissait à désirer, il y avait les vêtements sales d’un homme dans la salle de bain quand nous sommes entrés dans la chambre qui n’avait jamais été ramassé et les planchers étaient collants.
Le checkin a pris 20 minutes, beaucoup trop lent et le réceptionniste tapait sur l’ordinateur avec un seul doigt quand il avait déjà toutes les informations que nous avions fourni sur Expedia.
Je ne recommande PAS cet hôtel… pour 100 € la nuit, il vaut mieux trouver ailleurs.

Nevresim takımı tertemizdi. Üzerinde tek bir kıl dahi yoktu. Banyo temizdi ancak dört kişilik odada kaldığım için ayak havlusunun her kişiye özel olarak verilmesi daha güzel olabilirdi. Havlu ıslaktı. El havlusu da bir taneydi. Ancak banyo havlusu kişiye özel veriliyordu. Genelde herkes elini kişisel havlusuna sildi. Tuvalet her gün düzenli temizlendi. Arkadaşlar tuvalet hijyeni tamamen odadaki diğer arkadaşlarla ilgili. Onlar temiz olduğu sürece tuvalet daima temiz. Yalnızca bir kadın gerçekten tuvaleti çok pis bırakmıştı. Tuvalet fırçası yok diye hatırlıyorum. Emin değilim. Odanın ısıtması çalışmıyordu. Gece soğuk olmuştu ama tolere edilebilir. Belki oda ısıtıcaları bina genelinde kapalıdır. Sıcak su sıkıntısı yok. Saç kurutma istedim fakat dolu olduğu için veremediler. Bu olumsuz oldu. Genel anlamda memnun kaldım. Konum şahane! Park yok. Bilginize…

FAKE PARKING

The site wrote that were a free Parking and I could stay there with the rental car. While asking to change the dates , when I ll be without it they asked me to call the Hotels.com. I ve made it after many calls. So when finally accepting the Hotels had to call the Hostel00 to confirm the number confirmation they gave me!!! And the call was down. I WANT MY MONEY BACK. Once more tip I PRINTED THE WEBPAGE TELLING THEY HAVE FREE PARKING.

La ventana que daba a la calle no se podía cerrar i se oía toro el ruido de coches. Después en la habitación 12 había un ruido constante i permanente durante 24 horas del sistema de tubería (quizás de la climatización o a saber)
Después la decoración podría estar más lograda i todo un poco más curioso no parece que con los beneficios se le dé. I tan solo una pintada al año.
Las sabanas i toallas perfecta.

YO MEJORARÍA EL ACCESO A LAS HABITACIONES POR EL RUIDO. LO DEMÁS NO ESTA MAL. LAS ALMOHADAS PARA MI NO SON BUENAS. QUISIMOS QUE NOS DIERAN 2 ALMOHADAS Y NOS DIJERON QUE NO HABÍA MÁS. CORRECTO EL HOTEL. EL PERSONAL MUY MUY AGRADABLE Y ATENTOY PROFESIONAL.

Me gustó el desayuno, que tiene una excelente relación calidad-precio y que crean un espacio tranquilo y silencioso donde es posible descansar.

Estábamos en habitación privada, y sólo echamos de menos mesitas de noche, aunque fueran pequeñitas. Son muy útiles para la gente con gafas.

Hotel no recomendable

Muy mala experiencia. El 28 de Sep recibí un mail confirmando la reserva, que ya estaba pagada hace meses y al día siguiente me cambiaron al hotel Room007 Chueca. Al negarme a aceptar el cambio, ya que era un hotel de inferior calidad, me dijeron que estaba a tiempo de anular la reserva (algo inaceptable). Después de mucho discutir, solicité que la menos me diera una compensación, como por ejemplo el desayuno, a lo cual accedieron (desayuno muy básico). Cuando nos retiramos nos quería cobrar EUR 2 por dejar en custodia el equipaje, lo que afortunadamente no fue cobrado. La cama muy mala, pieza pequeño y el salir/entrar de la ducha, era difícil por el tamaño de esta. Realmente muy malo el hotel

한달여행중 최악의 숙소였다.

마드리드 물가를 감안하고 후기를 참조해서 호스텔이지만 4인룸 패밀리룸으로 예약을 했었다. 다른 방들의 조건은 모르겠지만.. 우리가 묵었던 방 기준으로 2개의 2층 침대는 삐걱거리고 이층 침대의 침대받침이 2개이상 부러져 있었고 1층침대에는 초등 1학년마저도 앉아 있을 수 없는 높이였다. 화장실과 샤워실이 분리되어 있고 세면대는 아예 침대가 있는 방에 놓여져 있었는데...수도꼭지가 누르면 물 나오는거라 너무나 불편했음. 샤워실은 천정에 고정된 물나오는거 뿐이어서 샤워를 하지 않으면 다른걸 할수가 없었고 가장 힘들었던것은 샤워실에서 나는 시궁창 냄새ㅠㅠ 도저히 들어갈 수가 없었고 리셉션에 얘기를 했고 확인하고 조치해달라고 했지만 리셉션 직원들이 24시간 근무에 돌아가면서 근무하지만 인수인계되지 않고..결국은 3일째 되던날 급하게 다른 숙소 구해서 체크아웃 해버림..결국은 비용 좀 아끼려고 선택한 숙소였지만 상상이상으로 별로였음. 숙소들어가기가 싫었던 첫 숙소였음.
