Two nights here were enjoyable, facilities are excellent especially for tennis coaching. Rooms very clean and good amenities. Only down side was no concierge to help with bags. We had a lot of bags and a long walk to the room. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Pool is very clean and fun in the shape of a tennis racquet. Tennis coaches were professional and friendly. Highly recommend.

A lovely hotel if you want to get away from it all, but we wanted to get out and we spent a fortune on Uber! Would be an idea to put on a daily shuttle bus from the hotel to places like Antibes just to give guests the choice.
I am a tennis fan, those facilities were incredible, but if you want a pool holiday, I wouldn’t recommend. The restaurant was nice.

The hotel extremely well suited to business purpose. My husband enjoyed the breakfast very much and together we loved the dinner . The rooms were spacious and clean . The housekeeping staff is very friendly and attentive . The only challenge was that the bathtub height was too high which made getting in and out a little hazardous. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect .

Outside looks wonderful, but rooms are old. Beds are terrible. Not enough chairs by the pool…and staff is very unfriendly. Food is way to expensive for what they are serving. Overall just not worth the price.

Good hotel in a nice location.

Hotel is located in a very nice area and the views are stunning. On the other side, the rooms are small, and in particular the toilet room is extremely small - taller people would close the door.
Breakfast is not impressing - any kind of vegetables are absent and it is difficult to get a plate or a cup.
All in all, if you are willing to make a compromise with these disadvantages - it is worth to book it.
P.s. underground parking is available which is like gold there.

Great find near Nice

Great find - this is a tennis camp hotel but we weren’t there for tennis. The facilities are in very good condition. Great gym and the restaurant is excellent. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Requires a car as is 20 mins from Nice. Would go back.

The hotel is very clean and amazing quality and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The children loved the kids club. The reception staff are brilliant and helped recommend lots of lovely restaurants in Mougins, Valbonne and Saint Paul de Vence. You definitely need a car to get about but the hotel itself has loads to offer and great for families. Would definitely return. We had some confusion at the end of our stay over the breakfast charges but this was resolved.

Nice place tied in with tennis academy. One needed a car to get about locally without taking a lot of time. Scrambled eggs at breakfast were terrible, bacon was near raw, otherwise a decent breakfast. Loved the mini-crepes. Hotel restaurant was nice but but a little pricey. Staff at hotel and restaurant were very pleasant and helpful. Soundproofing could have been better but still a nice room.

The check-in was unfortunate. Despite my having called two weeks before and having been told that we would get a room with a view, instead, we were given a room along the arrival entrance to the hotel with drivers standing outside our patio smoking. And given that we were to be there for 10 nights, I was most unhappy. Fortunately, the lovely reservations manager and the helpful receptionist Anna came to our rescue and moved us the following day to a more acceptable room. The property is clean, simple, and modern as are the rooms. For the price, I would have expected more upscale items in the room such as robes, slippers, magnifying mirror, coffee machine, etc. The breakfast for 22 euros pp was OK and expensive . The major pro for us was the fitness center and fitness classes that are included in the room fee and are part of the attached Tennis Center. Finally, with the exception of Pauline, one of the best waitresses I've ever had, the restaurant staff appeared undertrained, surly and very slow (our drinks of water and bottled iced tea arriving 35 minutes after being ordered and 15 minutes after our main courses were delivered during one of our visits (Pauline wasn't there that day, unfortunately). The quality of the food was uneven being delicious one day and tasteless on another. It wouldn't take much to improve the hotel (see above).

No heated pool, Ants in the bathroom, offered free upgrade due to being on honeymoon, but room was never upgraded. Due to this offered a free meal, took 2 hours for mains to arrive. The spa, while staff were lovely, the actual facilities were awful! The spa, gave great massages, but with no pool, sauna it just was simply shower and infrared lights. When I asked certain staff on reception, the response was “I didn’t check you in”. This just paved the way of what type place this is. Great if you like tennis with 32 courts! But rubbish if you want a chill by the pool, and have drink! Because the pool is closed due to being not heated, and the bar has ran out of drinks after they finally serve you! My wife and I sat at the bar, I kept asking but all I got was one minute; but when a older couple sat down, serve straight away. In all, I don’t understand why it was not stated about the pool and spa facilities, absolutely awful. Most of the staff I found to be arrogant and unhelpful at all. This hotel is not worth 4 stars, as I found travel lodges staff and facilities to be better. Don’t waste your money and time at this place.

Beautiful Hotel but you need a car to stay here.

Hotel staff were helpful and the Hotel is situated approximately 25 minutes drive from Nice, 15 mins from Antibes and 20 mins from Cannes. The hotel is next to/part of a tennis academy which has a gym and classes which hotel guests can acces with no additional charge. The hotel and pool areas are well maintained and the hotel has very peaceful air and a great sense of space. Stayed with family including 2 teenagers.

Tennis paradise on French Riviera

Overall it is a very enjoyable place to travel as a family and practice sport, with fantastic facilities, tennis, pool & fitness. However the family rooms are a bit small to fit 4 people. Nevertheless we had a very nice stay and would definitely recommend to families travelling by car to the French Riviera.

A huge disappointment in general.

We made two separate reservations for each week because we didn’t initially think of staying two weeks. When asked if we could keep our room for two straight weeks, No problem, said the reception. The second week… no, we had to change the room. No one apparently followed up on our initial request. The staff was incompetent or inflexible… The staff said it’s fully booked and they need a adjoining room for another family. But we got another adjoining room! And our luggage wasn’t even delivered to our new room.

Toilet seat had stains upon arrival... Main light in the room was broken on the second evening, which was Sunday. Called the reception and the technician came and left with a broken light bulb. Thought he’d come back. My kid and I stayed in the room and couldn’t even change or shower since we didn’t know when he would come back. He never showed up. The staff offered a change of the room… after the first change (and without helping with suitcases), we preferred not to be bothered with packing and unpacking again. During the rest of the stay, no main light. The reception couldn’t help or explain a thing about the situation.

The Mouratoglou Tennis academy shouldn’t recommend the families with camp participants to the hotel. I certainly wouldn’t stay here again.

Great for sport and fitness

This hotel is attached to a tennis training academy and has fantastic coaching facilities and training gyms as well as the spa which all guests can use. The hotel is in a great location for exploring this area of France - within half an hour you can be at Cannes, Nice, Mougins, Grasse, Lac du St Cassien etc.

The hotel itself has its own private beach at Antibes with a free shuttle service if you book your lounger in advance. We were there for a relaxing family holiday (children aged 8 and 5) and they had loads to do. The hotel has an animation team who engage children in activities all day for those who like to do this.

Children under 12 get free breakfast.

Great if you have to be in Sophia Antipolis

Location was selected for its proximity to work and that was perfect. The hotel is average in general but the carpet had lots of hair (not mine), the shower had no curtain or screen so the floor was a puddle after each shower and the \"spa\" hours were 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM which made it almost impossible to use the facilities.

Stylish Spa

The hotel is located in the wooded Sophia Antipolis area where there are number of low rise, high-tech business parks. The rooms are very stylish and spacious. There are two swimming pools; one in the shape of a tennis racquet. We found the food in the restaurant very good and surprisingly reasonably priced.

The only negative point is that the double glazed doors to the balcony had ventilation grilles that could not be shut, thereby ruining their potential noise isolating properties - not good if your room is near the busy road or overlooking the entrance where all the staff seem to park their noisey motor bikes.

It's an average business type hotel with tour bus visitors too, and also great sports facilities

It's reasonably clean, but a bit run down. Carpets are stained and could be replaced

Breakfast buffet is very extensive, though expensive. The restaurant is good, but no other gift shop or place to get snacks. If you want something different, there are also restaurants in a couple of other nearby hotels that are pretty good too (Ibis and Mercure).

There is a small shopping plaza about a mile away with a couple or restaurants and supermarket, but other than that, nothing. There are busses to Antibes and Nice, but they only operate mon-Fri

If you have to be in the area, it's not a bad place, but you'll quickly get cabin fever if you stay for long

Had a business event that took me to the intercontinental Carlton in Cannes. When that was over we looked on hotels.com for a base of operations near Nice etc. Here in Biot, we found a good price (comparatively) at the Sophia. This is more of a golf and tennis clinic/resort with very nice spa and spa related services. We used more for a base of operations for our touring through Nice, Eza, Monaco etc. Room was excellent, hotel restaurant and bar nice, the ambiance is low key and relaxed.

The standard of rooms is a lucky dip! Avoid room62

After checking-in I went to my room to find that the door lock in the inside did not work and neither did the window lock work (room 62), it was a ground room floor and I was uncomfortable with this and asked to be moved but was told this was not possible as all rooms were occupied. I was called 15 minutes later and told they had found a room I could move to down the corridor (I was only staying 1 night). The room was actually a downgrade on what I'd pay for so I was given breakfast free of charge which I was happy with.

Almost unbelievably the same happened to me at this hotel in February (room 62 again) and the situation was dealt with very poorly with staff being very rude to me because I had asked to move. They even told me I was lying and the window lock did work (it absolutely did not) and then the reception staff were talking about me unpleasantly amongst themselves when I passed reception later on. Incredibly unprofessional and not the level of service expected at this 'luxury' hotel.

On this most recent occasion in November the staff at reception were polite and helpful and handled the situation in a more professional manner than other staff previously had.

Maybe they will get round to fixing the window and the door locks one day!

Nice hotel but not up to expectations

The location of the hotel is great and facilities are not bad. However the most disappointing was the restaurant there. We stayed for 12 days altogether most times there were 2 staff serving and taking orders however no time management. We used to be seated and given menus 30 minutes later and order 15 minutes later after we had to catch the attention of someone. After complaining at the reception it was slightly better. However we would just pick up the menus ourselves. Food on the menu is very fancy but not much variety and the kids menu is very unhealthy with a limited choice. Also on one occassion they added extra dishes on my bill after which we had to sort out and later the same was our checkout bill which had to be sorted again. Most of the staff don't speak English or understand English which was difficult to get our point across.

We asked for a rollaway bed in the room and were turned down. The bathtub was clogging up and the flush not working well. The worst was the aircon in the room which was virtually non existent. Room cleanliness was not up to the mark.

It could be a good hotel if there is some care taken to guests need considering its not a cheap hotel we would not like to return there.

Also after paying on Expedia in advance, they charged my card again for the amount if the room. Definitely never visiting this hotel again.

Hotel is not worth of what it charges for rooom night. On top of that service is pathetic. They don't even tell what are the near by restaurants. I took dinner one night within the hotel and next day, I asked them is there any near by hotel and shockingly the answer is \"They don't know\"

Nice Hotel for InHotel Activities

The Hotel is nice and clean and the service is very good and it has a lot of activities to be done with the familly of freinds. It is excellent if you want to spend the vacation in the hotel doing different activities. the problem is that you can't find anything at a waking distance and Taxies are expensive and the Bus does not work in the weekends. Hence you needa car to move around.

firstly if you are thinking of trying to find the hotel in the dark think again, i had a GPS which did not recognize the hotel at all and took me 2 hours to find it as it is in the middle of nowhere,
if you are also thinking of going into cannes, coisette it will take you around 45 mins with the traffic,
my room was ok and i must admit the shower was great with strong flow of water.
the resturant was also very very nice with good service and very friendly staff too.
try to avoid breakfast as it was nearly €20 a rip off so if not included it was not worth it.
for the price overall it was just ok but if i paid more than i did i would be very unhappy.

Very good value for money. Well positioned for exploring Cote d'Azur. Set in a technology park about 10 mins from Antibes / Juan les Pins seafront. Excellent sports facilities including indoor and outdoor tennis, golf and good sized outdoor pool.. Easy parking.
