Good room, spacious and fairly clean. Modern decor. I asked for a dream box as the tv tuner didn’t seem to work. Balcony in room 122 was probably the smallest I’d seen. We had the breakfast option and, all I’d say is, go early as it got (gets) very crowded. Food options were ok, nothing special and didn’t feel 5-star. I ordered an omelette and is was ok. Quite a lot of food options for kids. Bring your own tea bags as the tea served is very low quality. What let the hotel down was the lack of children’s activities compared to other similar hotels in the area. The playground needs a complete renovation.

Overall we were very happy with the staff and hotel.
However the waiting time for a drink in the captain’s bar was far too long. On average some time up to 15-20 minutes. The system for ordering and delivering needs to be changed.

Thoroughly enjoyed a 10 day stay at this resort. Lovely staff lovely food. We preferred the beach to the pool but both are lovely. Clean spacious rooms. Drink service a little on the slow side potentially just need a few more staff but other than that it was brilliant.

St Raphael’s was rather rundown when we went. Unfortunately for the price point we were expecting a nicer stay. It wasn’t helped when we checked in and they gave us a smaller room than the one we booked. When we queried there wasn’t really an explanation given and the gentleman at the front desk was quite rude. Definitely not a five star experience overall

We would like to say a massive thank you to all the lovely staff who made our visit so memorable. Everyone made my family feel welcome and they always went above and beyond. The bedrooms were very spacious and clean, food was very nice and the bar was lovely.

By far the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff were so friendly, great with children. Never have we felt so welcomed and looked after. From the moment we checked in we knew this was going to be a fantastic holiday.

Room was lovely and clean, had everything you could ask for. Some of the best food we have had in an all inclusive. The hotel bar and restaurant were excellent.

Can't wait to visit again and will reccomended to family and friends.

A big thank you to all the hotel staff that made our holiday perfect.

They have a contract with taxi office for convenience. If it wasn’t for the problem I had with that taxi I would’ve given them 10 stars but as a total no more than 3 stars . That taxi unfortunately ruined my experience not only once but every time I dealt with him I complained about him more than three times and I demanded $20 dollars a refund since we agreed to pay $230 but we paid $250 and nothing happened it’s not a big amount but the principal . Only 2 person from the team made our stay amazing. Sasha the breakfast Manager and Lina Room service/cashier. The rest of restaurants staff was new or not able to answer any normal question. AC was off several times while we are eating in the restaurant. Asked for a steak and I was sent from all day dining to the main restaurant, then informed that was closed. Seems they are only programmed to serve full board guests with buffet style. Overpriced

Finally the hotel is a great option for families with children and the animation team did a great job at keeping out little boy happy. We had a 5 night stay at the hotel. We chose the location for proximity to a family member and it may be a little quiet for some although the resort has enough facilities. The staff were fabulous and at all times polite, friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was superb with an abundance of choice, suitable for all. Wr had a great stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommens the hotel.

The hotel is mostly a little outdated and doesn’t compete with the other five stars in Limassol. Some part of hotel including Lobby and the room had been refurbished but the other parts are outdated. We paid an upgrade to get a sea view and it was so disappointing! The hotel is mostly outdated but has lovely grounds and certainly a potential to get up to date! It feels like a 4 star not a 5 star. The breakfast was ok, we had to wear masks, and the pool is lovely.

Great views and lovely beach, lots of water sports nearby, and great location overall.

Major plus point was the shift to eco friendly cups and straws as well as recycling facilities.

We had food at Splash ( the kids pool side) and it was mainly fried food and super casual. But it was pleasant.

We didn’t get to try the Thai restaurant which gets booked as it’s popular by the locals also.

It is located out of town, but there are regular busses if guests want to go into town, or taxi can be ordered on site.

The St. Raphael is primarily a resort hotel and I was there on business. It does offer a decent conference facility.
All in all it is sort of a “self contained” facility that offers three meals a day as well as entertainment for the whole family as well as several swimming pools and restaurants. The rooms are ok. Decent size. Some offer a double bed. Others offer an additional crib or a folding bed for family accommodations. Gym is ok but only open 8 to 8 so not suitable for a conference guest. The hotel is about 20/30 minute rede from center of town and 40 minute from LCA airport. Not much to do in the vicinity. There’s some food and attractions but the main attractions are downtown. There’s a bus and taxi service.
WiFi is ok. Premium charge for business quality. Free for simple browsing. Guests are primarily tourists from Russia or UK. Food is good. Staff speaks good English/Russian/Greek. Taxi ride to/from airport EUR 60.

The resort is absolutely beautiful. However if you are looking for a more lively night life, you won’t find that here. The resort is primarily a family resort and there are tons of kids, which to us was a slight turn off as we are just a couple. The staff was very helpful and accommodating and always provided immediate attention.

It s our second stay in St Raphael, the family room that we get this time was renovated and very spacious. A lot of activities for the kids, staff very friendly . The only thing that we didn t like is the insects on the pool and mosquitos in the room. But overall excellent stay and excellent hotel

Beach is very near. Food is great. Room was spacious. Staff very helpful.
Just need to set an age limit for spa pool/jacuzzi. I was in the pool when 8 children came in with their grandfather. Despite spa worker telling them and the grandfather the rules,..they were noisy and jumping in the pool, taking over the jaccuzi. I got out and went to the beach.

Dated rooms - old and tired looking
Buffet - limited, small & tasteless food.
Booze - similar to poison
Snacks - where? Not self service. The restaurant hosting this is closed & attendants are unwelcoming.

House keeping - spend 2 mins. Not sure if they change towels

Every time I raised any issues the service desk would ignore this. Couldn't provide me with simple things like an iron or double duvet. I gave up.

Two lovely outdoor pools, one with swim up bar. Indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam, gym, spa, all in great condition and clean. Short walk through the gardens to the sandy beach with lots of water sports available. Excellent entertainment every night, kids club every day, lovely food in a choice of restaurants (our favourite was the outside restaurant, Alakati, open 4 nights of the week). We had a mix up with our room, which was dealt with extremely quickly and efficiently by Evelyn Ibrahim the Guest Relations Manager, thank you very much!

While in your bleh room, just think of the pool.

Extremely dated, this place is definitely not up to western resort standards on the inside. The room is not very comfortable or well appointed. It feels like it was last redone in the '80s and left that way as a museum piece.

That said, the outside pool area is beautiful, with a swim-up bar. The breakfast selection is very wide, and the front-desk personnel speak a formidable number of languages. Ample parking. Beach is pretty from afar, but sandy/silty soil makes the water less than exciting to get into. Rather stay poolside.

We stayed at the hotel for 9 nights.The hotel needs refurbishment which I believe is happening in the near future. The hotel staff are generally grumpy but we can understand this with the extremely long hours of work they do every day. Customer services lady, bell boy and a couple of waitresses were the exception and very nice .
Food is generally ok with great breakfasts but hit and miss dinners.
The shower mixer broke during our stay but was fixed as soon as housekeeping was notified. Room service and housekeeping were very good always willing to go the extra if we required something.

Dated resort focused on Russian partying it seems. There is absolutely no tourist desk or information - in fact concierge was shocked when we asked how we could get to town and what sites are there worth seeing. They recommended nothing - another local Cypriot staff member by contrast suggested a few places and also going to the hotel next door (Grand resort) which does have tourist information. Too far from Lemesol so better off staying closer to beautiful old town whilst still having access to a beach hotel. It seems the clientele here are pretty ignorant and disengaged with other cultures (Cyprus has an interesting problem being a hot zone for money seeping out of Russia to escape Putin it seems!). Bottles of vodka were empty outside of literally every room on our floor indicative of in-room excessive drinking. You can see why the hotel does not bother with tourist information reflecting the type of clientele they would normally get in peak season. It could be really bad during peak season with much younger partying crowd.

Good hotel to stay by the beach

I stayed in this hotel for work. Overall, the hotel was good but not great.

My bad experiences: First, when I arrived, I had to pay. My card didn't work and I had the impression the staff believed it was my fault. It turned out the problem was in the payment device. Second, I could here in my room (room with a view to the street) a loud noise. It came from a huge fun in the ground floor, to circulate air in the hotel. I had to here this noise for two days. One night I woke up with a bad headache, and there was nothing they could do. They fixed the problem in the end, but there's still a noise, so if you're sensitive to noise, this room is not a good option.

Breakfast is ok, but not great. They have a large variety of option, but they are not very tasty. The juices are not natural, really bad. I don't drink coffee, so I had to drink water because I couldn't drink the juice.

The location is great to go to the beach. However, the city center is quite far away, so if you'd like to go in the evening there to have a meal or drink, it is not close.

The room is ok. It has the facilities I need. But you can see it is not brand new.

Last, the swiming pool and sauna are very nice. I just got annoyed that I wanted to go to the sauna early morning before catching my flight, and there was no one there at the time the sauna was supposed to be open.

In summary, the hotel is a good, considering what it provides and its prices, but don't go with very high expectations.

Nice hotel, great for families

This hotel is great for everyone especially families. Next to the beach that is great for kids. Quieter area of Limassol. Beaches on both sides of the hotel on either side of the Marina. Can walk on the beach, Malindi's restaurant on the beach and can walk top Plus Sea restaurant in about 10 minutes. Their kids club is great, they have great activities for the kiddos and keep them really busy. It has an indoor pool which my daughter enjoyed in the winter time. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great and room service extremely quick!. My daughter wants to stay here again. This is my new go to hotel for Limassol stays.

Hotel was great, with a lot of attention from the staff to accommodate our needs. The buffets were incredible: expansive, with lots of options for all diets and tastes (though a bit pricey if not included in the room price). The amenities were extensive and well suited to a wide variety of needs. The resort was all-inclusive which was good, since there were not many other food options in the vicinity.

Our only (minor) complaint was that the free WiFi was quite slow. There were paid options available, but they were also listed as having pretty poor speeds (< 8Mbps advertised).

We had an executive room which was spacious and clean inside. Overall a very good experience with friendly staff who are genuinely working to please the guests. Great sandy beach which I believe everyone liked. Enjoyed the hotel location at the quiet outskirts of Limassol as I rented a car. Some parts of the hotel need renovation and uplifting such as octagon rest and executive rooms front facing the pool.

This family hotel has a good location. It is on the beach. This property might have been a 5 stars hotels but it lost all its charm! Very old, facilities are not of s 5 stars resort mainly the restaurents and the rooms.
Rooms are spacious but very old furniture. Poor amenities. It is good for short stay, a week end. Absolutely not a luxurious resort

Most helpful staff Ive ever come across

First class hotel, great for kids, good entertainment every evening for kids (and adults). Staff were super helpful and genuinely nice. Straight onto beach.

A truly wonderful hotel, relaxing, quiet, comfortable, staff were exceptional, food was amazing - my only slight criticism was it would of been nice for a little bit more varied entertainment in the evening. To have the option of paying for drinks after the 12 p.m.

Outstanding Hotels Excellent Value For Money

The hotel is excellent value for money lots to do on a daily basis for family and kids. The food is outstanding. The hotel service is excellent the staff where helpful at all times. The beaches are clean and also not crowded. We are already planing another holiday to Cyprus and will go and stay at St Raphael Hotel again with the family as we really enjoyed our stay.

A unhappy experience

Have stayed at this hotel before found this time it was in need of a facelift hotel areas needs new decor so do rooms
But the staff in bar & restaurant very helpfully & friendly
I had problems with the heat in the room & contacted reception many times & engineer did come to the room but nothing was resolved eventually given a fan after complaining & requesting one
On booking out did say wasn't happy with service in room but nobody seemed bothered

Really comfy trad hotel- shame about the spa

5 nights at this comfy traditional hotel. We usually stay in apts when in Cyprus but fancied a spot of luxury. Large comfy bedroom, beaut side seaview from balcony, nice bathroom (with bath). Fabulous buffet breakfasts, which we ate on the spacious sunny terrace (till the weather changed and it became a bit of a hot scrum indoors in breakfast room). A couple of gripes:
-rubbery smelling mattress cover??
-bath towels a bit small, more hand towel size
-The spa- too small and crowded with energetic and noisy young male Russians dive- bombing into the tiny pool so we couldn't use it. Steam room never worked when we were there. Jacuzzi held about 3 people so constant queueing to use it.
But overall, fab food at Sailor's Rest on NYE, delicious veggie range at breakfast- thankyou- unusual in Cyprus. Most of the staff were really friendly and helpful (apart from one snooty male receptionist).
We would return anytime, especially when we compare this hotel with the one we went on to next stay in, in Nicosia- from the sublime to the miserable!
Re the spa problem- I think a solution could be to open out the spa facilities at the hotel's posh Serenity spa, for a daily charge of say, 10 euros pp, to adults only.

One of our best experiences. We were overwhelmed by the warmth of hotel staff. Kids enjoyed a lot as well.
