Absolutely wonderful accomodation. Comfortable bed, clean amenities, exceptionally cosy. Check in was easy, with info forwarded the morning of, so we could just get in, get the keys, and be on with our day. The proprietor let us check out later for a good price as my partner was unwell and needed extra time to recover. We appreciate the exceptional hospitality.

Fantastic in every way.

The Arc Harrogate is a small but fantastic hotel. There were detailed instructions sent to me about everything before I arrived and I had a lovely warm welcome from the owner. The parking is on street parking, but the hotel provided the necessary permits, complete with a photo of how to display them and details of what time the parking ran out.

The room was spotless and very well serviced. Every day the bathroom was cleaned, the tea and coffee supplies topped up and so on.

The communal areas were also spotlessly clean.

It is perfect for the Harrogate International Convention Centre being directly across the road.

I cannot fault this place at all and would definitely go back. They deserve the business and they deserve a recommendation.

Nice stay at the Arc. Kim is a friendly host. Room was a little cold but a supplementary heater was provided which made it cosier. Recommend it for access to central Harrogate. Bars and restaurants all close by. Parking was a bit difficult and Limited to on street but limited by a permit from the establishment.

Great location. Didn’t have breakfast - plenty of places nearby. Arc is not trying to be luxurious but clean and tidy and convenient. Harrogate is a lovely place for a break.

This is how you do B&B. Immaculate property, comfy bedding, good co,municsrion. As a solo traveller, I felt safe and got a great night’s sleep. House and my room was imperfect. Love this place and highly recommend.

Arc Harrogate Review

I thought the hotel was nice. It's literally opposite the convention centre so that's excellent. The service was top tier in every aspect. The only problem is the internet connection. I couldn't consistently connect to the wifi and it was extremely slow and unstable. I had to use my data in order to use the internet and even then, the connection was slow in the hotel

There was a lot of communication via owner texts prior to trip and during ..instructions for parking & payment & how to obtain keys.
Stayed in the room in the eves which is very height restricted and you’re very conscious of this throughout the night scared to get up in the night incase you bump your head!
Was really disappointed that breakfast wasn’t available!!!
Thought it was a B & B???
The host Kim is very friendly and obliging and the accommodation is spotlessly clean and parking is free but off site it didn’t spoil our stay had an amazing wend.

One of the finest guesthouses I have ever stayed in. A big plus too is that it is dead opposite the Convention Centre! Kim is a wonderful host and nothing is too much trouble for her.

Beware - the advertised costs are misleading.

A delightful little B&B at what was a reasonable cost other than breakfast was advertised @ £6.95 but ended up costing £11.95 and B7B owner suggests that Expedia have not changed the cost on the page for past 8 years. This additional cost I'm afraid, was the difference between this B7B being good value and not so good value for Harrogate, so bear this in mind if you are considering this property over any other in the area. I am trying to resolve this issue with hotels.com as I believe my contract was with them but I am disappointed I must say and feel somehow I have been overcharged and received poorer value for money than I was expecting.

The arc is really nice and modern parking permit given on arrival we paid for breakfast one morning and was lovely cooked fresh and plenty to choose from hotel is only 5 mins to centre, kim is a wonderful host ,our room was up 2 flights of stairs and was really nice but a bit cramped, good shower enjoyed our stay

Okay but too light in the room

A warm welcome before our stay and on arrival from Kim. Take an eye mask if you stay as the room light doesn’t completely switch off. Someone has tried to remedy this with a plaster but really this needs to be replaced. Good location.

Fantastic place!

Arc is absolutely fantastic! Kim could not possibly have done any more for ourselves (and other guests from what we saw) to make our stay any more pleasant and comfortable. Safe on street parking (free permit provided) is two minutes walk on Alexandra Rd. Arc is spotless, modern and very comfortable. Breakfast is available (pay at property) and it was excellent. We cannot recommend Arc highly enough and next time we are visiting Harrogate, this will be our chosen place to stay.

The property was a little cramped but very clean with a plentiful supply of tea/coffee and toiletries. We were on a higher floor level so lots of stairs to climb! However our check in and shower facility was superb although it was noisy at times (doors banging). The property is well located and close to the town centre, bars and restaurants.

Individually styled room, nine in all I think. Clean, tea and coffee, lovely bedding and shower as well as toiletries. Always clean towels, even if you didn’t ask for them changed. Friendly welcome, including an impromptu run out from the hotel to find where I was in order to park. Central and walking distance to the town. Shame there was no bar but plenty of places in Harrogate. Breakfast not included and had to be pre ordered, but plenty of choice in town to chose from. Flexibly with check in and out. Friendly place, had a very happy visit.

We had a lovely stay of 3 nights at The Arc we were in Harrogate for the craft show we only had to walk to the bottom of the street only thing i would have to say you have to climb the stairs to your room if you dont get a ground floor room so take your time on the stairs if you have breathing problems and a lot of steep streets in Harrogate but we will be back enjoyed every minuet of it Thank you very much Kim every thing was lovely and a great breakfast xo

Great find.

Could only have gotten closer to the conference centre if I had slept in the foyer. So brilliant for anyone attending an event there. My room a single was small but spotless and the bathroom had a good sized shower. Couldn't gain access without making a call to a contact number, even though two staff were visible inside. That was the only contact with anyone. We left the keys on the (unmanned) desk on our way out when we left.

Excellent location, convenient parking, beautiful decor, very clean. Kim was extremely friendly, helpful and well organised. We stayed 3 nights, the bedroom and bathroom were very clean, spacious and comfortable. They both had everything we needed, plenty of storage space for our belongings and the shower was superb. We only had breakfast one morning, there was an excellent choice of cereals, fruits, yoghurt, bread and choice of cooked. The cooked breakfast was very tasty and cooked perfectly. We would definitely stay here again.

Spotless and well designed B and B.

Arc Hotel was within easy walking distance for Harrogate town, Turkish Baths and Valley Gardens. On Parking was free with a permit and close by. Everything was really well thought out and spotlessly clean. Over and above this, Kim was a warm and accommodating host, and breakfast was excellent. Highly reccommended.

This is a great place to stay. We were happy with absolutely everything and had a great service from Kim who checked us in. It's within walkng distance of everything in Harrogate and we would stay again! We had room 8 which was nice and quiet.

Lovely B&B. Extremely friendly owner who was very helpful and kindly let me leave my luggage after checkout. Room was compact but had everything you could need - including comfy bed, efficient heating, clean and modern bathroom (superb shower) and a large flatscreen TV. The Wi-Fi was a little bit patchy at times, but other than that no complaints. I was visiting Harrogate for an event at the Conference Centre which you can see out of the window - so the perfect location for that.

Perfect Stay in Harrogate

We found the Arc to be very well positioned being in easy walking distance to the historic heart of the town. Also plenty of places to go for dinner close by. Kim, the lady in reception, was very helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. And to top it all off, a short drive away and you were in the Dales. What more could you want?

Excellent accommodation in ideal location

Made very welcome by the owner. Bedroom spotlessly clean, nice decor and furnishings. Bathroom very nice. We stayed room only so can't comment on the breakfast. A small bottle of water on the tea and coffee tray would of been good but there was a good supply for hot drinks. Ideal location just a few minutes walk from town. Parking zone was full so we were offered a space behind the property which was very kind of Kim, the owner
