The stay was fine and the owner very welcoming. The room was very small and the decor is tired. It was all ok and I know that the price does reflect the area but I do believe £70 a night was overpriced for the particular room we had.

This hotel is about five minutes' walk from the east side of the Harrogate convention centre. That's why I stayed there in 2017. I went back in 2018 because it was clean and comfortable, and the Full English breakfast was superb.
This isn't a \"full service\" hotel with wifi and mini-bars and so on; it's seven rooms in a converted house, but the owner's very attentive and helpful, and the place is clean and quiet. I'll definitely be going back again next time I'm in Harrogate.

We stayed one night at Acomb Lodge as a quick getaway before Christmas. The welcome was warm and friendly and the room was lovely and warm on a freezing cold day. Plenty of tea and coffee to warm us up. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was lovely, with plenty of choice. Location was a short walk into Harrogate town centre. Overall we had a fantastic stay here and would certainly stay here again.

Small essential fixtures missing
I was in the same room.as previous stay and bemused that ceretain niggles, still had not been redressed. No mirrors, either in room or in the bathroom! In bathroom, no towel rail, no toilet roll holder and no hook behind door or anywhere to place your clothes, except the floor, or could drape over the toilet, I suppose! Last years excuse that he has been too busy, not acceptable this year! An irritation at, what is otherwise, a very comfortable B&B.

Acomb lode was only about seven minutes away from the main Harrogate bus station, also the same to the hall for the BBC Good Food Show which were attending.

Paul the owner makes you feel very welcome, Sharon who met us on the day couldn't do enough for you. Acomb lodge is in a fantastic spot and you could park your car straight outside another plus. It was extremely warm very comfortable and clean. I would recommend this place for your stay in Harrogate. It was like coming home from a night out! Breakfast was amazing also.

We stayed here for one night while visiting the exhibition centre. The owner is very helpful and welcoming. The accommodation is warm and clean. Our room was on the top floor and was basic but more than satisfactory. The shower worked well and there was lashings of very hot water. The cubicle was a little 'tired' but usable. Plenty of towels were provided and they were good quality. The bed was a bit creaky and the mattress soft but I slept fine. (My wife didn't - but then she never does!) The room had a small TV.
Breakfast was really excellent; hot, well cooked and promptly served. There was a good choice.
Off street parking was a great bonus and the owner even gave us an on street permit for the whole of the following day.

Stayed in Harrogate for a conference at the Harrogate international centre. The location of this b&b was perfect as the HIC was less than a 5 minute walk away. It was also only a short walk to the town centre which had many shops and restaurants to choose from. The owner of the b&b was extremely friendly and hospitable. The price included breakfast and the full English that was available was a generous size and cooked well. I would definitely stay here again.
