The hotel was nice and clean and great location for getting around, however I would not recommend the breakfast, worst one we have ever had, overcooked food, only one pastry, the only nice thing was the porridge so definitely not good value for money. We have had an evening meal before and that was lovely.

Very very average hotel. The walls of the rooms were paper thin so could hear normal conversation in the rooms next door.
Parking was also a problem - we took the last space in the car park which we only got as somebody had moved. Not sure what the plan would have been then.

The lady on reception did not acknowledge us when we approached. Ignored us for a few minutes before asking wre we checking in. However the night porter were very approachable & helpful. Its about 20yrs since i was last in a Brittania hotel & its like time has stood stiil. Its not good enough compared to todays standards. However the room was clean.

The staff was pleasant and the location is really good with ample parking, adding £5 per night to your stay. Rooms are spacious and clean, a bit outdated, but you can't complain about it because the price is reflected in it. Lovely premises and less than 10 minutes drive to the airport. Our room was a bit cold even with the heating (air con-type) on maximum, but it was a very cold night (-4C). It does worth a visit and I would stay here again and recommend it to my friends.

I will be posting pictures of the filthy air vent in the bathroom, mold in bathroom and no locks on bathroom door. Plus an extra 5 pound parking fee is “just a little extra ” expense that was explained at check in. There were very limited parking areas open. Disappointed and will not book again.

This hotel is one that has little labels stuck on the window you are trying to open more than 2 inches, saying the reason for this restriction is for your health and safety as 'Windows are dangerous'. I went to reception to ask for the key to open the window further and unlock the safety feature. I was told he did not have the key. When I asked who did have he said no one in the hotel had them.... It was a health and safety feature! I pointed out that on an airless night with temperatures in the '80s it was both a risky and ridiculous feature. There were two fans provided in the room. However, all the sockets were on the far side of the room and given the short leads, they could only stand in one place. Were it not for this fan I dread to think how our night would have finished. Policies such as this hotels follow the letter of the law to cover their own backs whilst failing to use common sense thereby ignoring obvious guests needs. I would absolutely avoid this place if it was warm weather.

Good welcome to the hotel. Restaurant closed at 8.30 but we managed to get one of the last meals served and it was a good roast beef dinner with bottle of wine cost £40 for 2. The bedroom was spacious enough and nice view from 5th floor bedroom. Annoyingly, the card pass didn’t work on 2nd evening. We’ve had this before at this hotel. It seems they can’t program for a second night.

Lady on reception was lovely when we checked in. Arrived at 19 55 after checking the timings of the restaurant online. Was told restaurant closed in 5 mins despite it saying 9pm online. Was given a takeaway menu instead.
Room had everything we needed for the night. Bathroom very very small. Could not close the door until you were straddled over the toilet bowel. Hot water for showers. Partner found bed uncomfortable but i was ok. It did make loud noises though when getting on and off (nightmare with a newborn).
Decent choice at breakfast and again staff there were lovely. Partner wanted to use leisure facilities before leaving but had to pay despite already paying for the night and breakfast. All other hotels we have stayed in you can use facilities as standard

Lack of acknowledgment from staff when waiting to check in. Staff came to reception area then stayed in back office without even an acknowledgment of ‘be with you soon’

Went for a shower, thermostat not working so we went to reception once again a lack of concern by staff. They gave us a key for a room in another floor to use THAT shower, not occupied as the door not lock🙈 but happy for us to use a shower with no securing a locked door ?
There was a function/ event on with a very loud music and even though we were away from reception area and a floor down, when we asked when’s it finished as too noisy was told by non caring staff, it’s a function about 1-1:30. Really when this is an airport hotel with people getting early flights and lots of coaches with elderly guests.?
No question of any compensation just a , here’s the email send it in (basically they weren’t interested in customer service giving)

Disappointing an understatement!
After a few days away on holiday we thought we would stay & get a nights sleep. Check in was smooth & we were given rooms beside each other 206 & 208. I was in 206 & when I entered the room it was very hot. As I was very tired I just lay on top of the bed. I got up to open the window to let some air in & the windows were filthy(see pic attached). My friend who I was sharing with got up & pointed out the fan on the floor. He picked this fan up plugged it in & it blew dust all over the room(see images). After coughing & spluttering catching our breath we both stood at the window while the dust settled. This was not in the plan after a long day travelling. Once enough of the dust had settled we were able to get into our beds & try to get some sleep(it was now 1-2am). At 4am we were both awaken by some noise outside. Then at 8.34am we had a cleaner walk in as we were just getting up catching me standing in my underwear. Not only do I feel this was an invasion of my privacy but I was mortified! We promptly gathered our belongings and left the hotel.

The booking said the hotel had a pool, but I had to pay 4 euros to use it, and towel hire was another 2 euros. The pool closed at five, so I didn’t get much opportunity to use it. If the pool facility is included in the room description, I think it is included in the price of the room. I feel cheated!

Only stayed overnight for early flight nearby. It was ok, clean but rooms are tired. The hock on the bathroom door consisted of two rather sharp screws. Screws left sticking out of the wall where a picture used to be. Staff were friendly.

Parking fines over £400, and paid parking!
Stayed for 4 nights snd paid for parking when i arrived, so far i have had over £200 parking fines from Parking Eye and expecting another £200, problem is the vehical is also leased so have fines from leasing company also to resolve ,so total will be over £400!

Check-in lady and ladies in restaurant were very helpful and cheerful. Bloke behind the bar could do with some of that rubbing off on him, in my opinion. We had twin beds. One was fine but the other sagged in middle and creaked loudly when there was any movement on it. We arrived late in the evening and didn't bother to complain as we were there for just one night. Anyway, the place was banged out so wouldn't have been able to move anyway. Food in the evening was pretty average. Breakfast was better and had a good selecton. No good for anything other than a one night stay for the airport in the morning or travelling further north/south. You get what you pay for. Rooms in Harrogate were 2 1/2 times as much for the night we needed.

Check in slow Asked to complete form but not given pen even after asking several times. Not able to add breakfast at check in - not sure why. Think they were overwhelmed by lots of people checking in at once. Bed was uncomfortable and moved when I moved. Room was noisy with doors banging all night. On the good side, room was comfortable. Tea available in room. Check in and check out, fast. Receptionist was fine. On the other side, I booked as I thought it was close to airport and hotels.com listed that it had a shuttle bus. I sent an email to the hotel asking about the shuttle bus, and received a message saying the office was closed. On arrival at 10:00 pm Leeds/Bradford, I called the number provided, and office was closed. Eventually got a 16 pound uber to hotel and there was a sign on desk saying there was no shuttle bus services anymore--only private taxis. It would have been easier to simply get a hotel in central Leeds if you're arriving late and traveling/connecting by train.
