really well situated, set in the centre of Leeds, loads of shops and cafe's nearby.
Hotel is easy to find, parking is not included but plenty nearby.
My issue is with the pillow, it is about 2 cm deep, you might as well not have one and the bathroom door, why is it glass, I love my OH but I really don't need to hear him on the loo. would a solid door really have been that much bother.
finally, you get sent a list of \"extras\", a hairdryer is only available from reception, (free) there is a list of chargeable items, including tea and coffee again only available from reception

Great location right in the City Center. I only stayed one night as a solo traveller.
Check in person and check out person were very friendly and helpful.
The room was very small but fine for me. Everything was compact but functional.

If you are claustrophobic then you might want check with them about their room sizes.

I would definitely stay here again.

Front door to the hotel was broken anybody could just walk in, only had 3 channels working on the TV as the signal kept going, no phone signal in the room, bed was like sleeping on a rock, lads running up and down the corridor at all hours in the night, it was not a pleasant experience.

Awful sized room could barely walk around. The front door of the hotel was completely broken an felt unsafe the entire night had to manually open it even though it was a automatic door you had to slide it across which made it very unsafe as most doors in the hotel to go upstairs to rooms were not locked by keycard.

Absolutely awful place, more like a hostel than a hotel.
Cold hard floors, nowhere to put your bag or belongings except on the floor. Nowhere to work, no chair even, no cups or even a glass for water. Micro sized poor quality tv.
Bed was really uncomfortable and my back ached all the next day. Final insult was the pathetic dribble that was supposed to be a shower

Poor customer service from the start when I booked I was charged an extra £6 for a room with a window that it turns out cannot be used and couldn’t even see out of them they were that dirty. I paid an Extra £20 for early check in of course my own choice but to find the room was so small you walk around had to climb over bed to move around couldn’t see tv unless stood in toilet no facilities no towels. So instead of what was planned for the day we decided to walk around Leeds city centre and thought it’ll be fine just to sleep in but the pillow cases had black smudges all over and the sheet had what I HOPE was chocolate AllOver it, so we left and didn’t stay the night upon leaving I was going to speak with person at reception soon as I started to talk her words were yes ok your checking out!!!!!! No offer to rectify the situation or give us a different room. Safe to say if I’d of given the key £61.40 to one of the homeless they of spent it better NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL WE USE EASY HOTELS hopefully hotels.com can arrange me a refund. I wouldn’t put a wild animal in the room was put in

The lift is stinky. The bathroom stunk of cleaning product, like really heavily. I mean you can’t complain too much when you pay £37 a night. The worst was the guests on the 1st floor, loud music playing from rooms, disruptive guests, could hear someone violently vomiting. Doors opening and banging whilst closing. Uncomfortable bed, extremely thin pillows = horrible sleep. I don’t think I’ll ever stay at the Leeds branch ever again. Only picked it because I’ve had great experiences in the past in the Cardiff branch as well as London. These other branches have held my luggage for free and have also given me free early check in, very generous. Leeds on the other hands charges £5 for luggage storage. Shocking for me as a Londoner since I would have expected this greed to originate from London, definitely not Leeds.

Drink machine was £2.50 for half a cup of hot chocolate - ridiculous!

There was a weird droning noise around 1:30am that lasted a good 20 minutes
We’ve stayed in other easyhotels that have been fabulous. Not this one

You get what you pay for as it’s cheap however no hot water for a shower we asked but nothing done about it. Tv didn’t work. And the worst mattress I’ve ever slept on we both have gone home with bad backs. Reception staff useless when we spoke to them with regards to hot water in the shower

Bed is rock hard and you feel every spring. I dont expect much from a cheap hotel but these days I do feel you have to go pretty out of your way to get an uncomfortable mattress.

I was also on the 4th floor which only has 2 rooms (and is poorly signposted for directions) and pretty much 0 water pressure! The shower was barely adequate but as it wa so late when I got there I knew there wasnt going to be much they could do and accepted it. Ive stayed in other rooms there before and its not an issue throughout the hotel.

Disappointed. Rooms are very basic. No worktop to put small belongings etc. No glasses to rinse mouth. No hand towel. Nowhere to hang your clothes (unless you bring your own coat hanger). Fixed hanger for your coat. And a glass door and no lock for the toilet/shower. Not good. It isn't even you get what you pay for as the rate certainly wasn't cheap.

The room was clean and tidy, but a little warm.
The fire door between the lift landing and the corridor did not shut properly.
The receptionist staff appeared bored and indifferent, especially the late afternoon and night receptionist.
I was woken several times in the night by rowdy, noisy guests coming back from a night out and also by someone dealing with a dog or small child at around 6am.
Unfortunately, it seems to be common that guests are not asked to keep noise to a minimum after midnight and before 7am.

staying at the easy hotel was good. I was staying alone and had a double room. I opted for a window...you cannot open them. the bed was comfy...the pillows in my own opinion are not too comfy. toilet and shower was very clean. I took a travel kettle so that made my stay fine. lots of shops and food around. I paid 110£ for Monday and Tuesday so good value. it was quiet both nights

Second time of staying here. Room was sparse, bed, toilet, sink , shower and tv but this was enough for our stay away.
The room/bathroom was spotless with heating/aircon you can control. Ttr bed was very comfortable. If you need it can get an iron/hairdryer from reception. Staff friendly.
Great position in town centre close to the shops and you can get a discount on a few car parks not too far away.
Would definitely recommend here, for the price you pay.

Comfortable enough but a few issues!

It didn’t start well. Half an hour in reception waiting for them to acknowledge my booking. They accepted that the fault wasn’t at my end. It was their systems… but despite booking and paying a month earlier, I was still left waiting for half an hour with my bags in reception waiting for them to deign to give me a room.

There room itself is comfy enough… small but comfortable, clean, good nights sleep, etc.

I’d expected to be deprived of a kettle.. less so any kind of cup or glass to get a drink in the middle of the night. Not sure if that was deliberate or an oversight, but i didn’t fancy a trip to reception at 2am to find out. I ended up drinking directly from the tap, as my water bottle wouldn’t fit under it.

So… okay, but not very welcoming.

Got a fabulous night's sleep, would have liked a desk, chair, sitting on bed to do some things in daily life is a bit frustrating, even if a pull out attachment to the wall, small facility downstairs, for snacks but I'm not a cashless fan so, I went out to spread the cash outdoors, overall fantastic location, service, friendliness, perfect, great stay thank you! I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the unacceptable conditions during my recent stay at your establishment.

Throughout my stay, I was forced to request towels on a daily basis, as housekeeping failed to attend to my room even once. This level of neglect is entirely unprofessional and falls well below the standards expected of any reputable accommodation. Moreover, the condition of the bedding was wholly unacceptable — both in terms of cleanliness and overall maintenance — raising serious concerns about hygiene and guest safety.

Given the significant lack of basic services and the poor condition of the facilities, I do not believe the experience was in any way reflective of the amount I paid. I left feeling extremely dissatisfied and frustrated, and I will not be returning in the future.

In light of these issues, I am formally requesting a partial refund as compensation for the substandard service and conditions. I trust you will treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves and respond accordingly.
I trust you will take this feedback seriously and take immediate steps to ensure future guests are treated with the standard of care and respect that should be expected from your establishment.

Didn’t realise until arrival that they require a pending hold on your card, which means practically you’re £30/40 down straight away, until they, after a while in my case, release the hold.

I came across a rather rude receptionist who was just insulting due to my reasonable surprise in that matter and my need to rearrange some funds due to the unmentioned hold.

The stay was fine but in hindsight wouldn’t book again.
Pros - great location in the city centre and the room was clean.
Cons - bed was so uncomfortable, very noisy at night due to clubbers etc, lift worked intermittently. When we checked in the guy at the desk thought there had been a mistake with the booking because we were two people of the same gender needing a one bed room. When we corrected him his demeanour changed and we found service to not be as friendly as before. Would avoid and spend £40 more to get a much nicer hotel

We arrived on a Saturday I rang the Monday and Wednesday before arriving to confirm early check in as we had a wedding to attend at 3 and check in was 3pm I was told both times when I rang the room would be ready and I will need to pay £20 I arrived and there was no one on reception after knocking on doors and ringing reception we headed up stairs to find staff sat in a staff room all chatting and laughing. I was given £5 off my early check in and had to pay £30 damage deposit. I am disappointed they told me I would have early check in but had to wait 45 min for staff after finding them socialising in the office and then the other group of us had been declined a early check in meaning 7 of us had to use a bedroom that sleeps 2 to get ready

No frills hotel in the middle of Leeds. Easy walk from the station and short bus ride to Stylus at Leeds Uni to watch a band.
Great value and didn't cost much more than an Uber would have been to go back to Halifax.
Check-in was easy, bed and pillows were comfy, air con was efficient and water was hot and powerful.
Yes there's not much room round the bed and the bathroom is small but for 1 night it was fine. There was no view and we couldn't open our window but like I said the air con cooled the room quickly. There's only 1 fixed hanger so if you're staying longer take your own.
Would definitely stay again if we could get a room for a similar price.
