Looks fantastic however, a little bit of style over substance here. Good in the bar was ok but expensive. The room looked great but few plugs and no USB sockets. The bathroom had a shower from 1982 and a shower curtain from the same decade. Nowhere to put any toiletries and no fan in the bathroom either. Bed was comfy though and the room large enough. Car park was like something of an apocalypse with cars abandoned absolutely anywhere there was even half a space.

This was the second time that my Wife and .I have stayed here. The hotel is well appointed light and airy, clean and tidy. We were offered a room upgrade at a small cost which we took up. Room itself very nice with comfortable bed. Breakfast was buffet style with good selection. Staff all very pleasant and the location in easy reach of central Leeds.

We have stayed here a few times now and we feel the rooms are starting to feel very tired. We were also very disappointed with the breakfast this stay - the choice and quality of the food on offer was poor. and not worth the £10 each that we paid. We are not sure if we will choose to stay here again.

Nice hotel within easy reach of city centre. We were able to check in early so we could put our bags straight in our room before heading out. Parking was simple and plentiful although I don’t think the hotel was particularly busy.

Main let down points were; the staff in the bar were not particularly attentive and at times more concerned about cleaning and fixing something than serving customers who were waiting and secondly the level of staff in the kitchen at breakfast was woefully short meaning eggs were being cooked to order and by the time you got them other items had run out.

The room was nice but a bit dusty, i upgarded to get the sky package and rainfall shower. The showrr was lovely but sky didnt work. Got fixed and then stopped working again.

Excellent parking and wasy to find. The bed was very comfy and was a super king. Got nespresso and some bits includi g boscuits always a win. The staff were friendly.

It’s was an average standard. Not sure why but no glass door to the shower and no door to cupboard. It seems that we were booked in a room for disabilities. No view. The air was very dry in the rooms. The cover seems it had its days and that needs to be changed. Looks dirty.

I had a later check in. Evening staff were not helpful. My key was put on the desk and nothing further said - no enjoy your evening - no this is your room number - nothing. I had to confirm my room number, as the handwriting was slightly squished, to which I received a solitary “yes” reply. I was then wandering about the foyer trying to find the lift. Only another customer offered support.
The room had no TV and the radiator ran like a babbling brook.

I asked for reception staff to give my room a call when my takeaway arrives and iwas told this would happen as the delivery time was 40 mins and we were tired. Unfortunately my phone battery died whilst we were waiting and the delivery had arrived and was left with reception. We received no call and we fell asleep. We woke up in the morning and reception told us the delivery driver came in twice and left the food at reception. I cant understand why reception did notcall our room when we asked them to.. our food was disposed in the morning and went to waste.. this was a really poor effort from reception.

We appreciate that some things are outside the hotel’s control, but several issues unfortunately darkened our stay. The corridor doors close incredibly fast and bang loudly throughout the night, which made it very difficult to sleep. On top of that, a couple on our floor were repeatedly roaming the corridors at all hours shouting, so we had several disturbed nights.

The pillows were honestly the worst I’ve ever had in a hotel. The selection was very limited and all were extremely over-filled… after the first night we ended up sleeping without them, and even then we woke the next morning with neck pain and headaches.

On a positive note, the service was friendly, though I’d personally prefer more human interaction and less reliance on machines. Parking was easy and perfectly adequate.

Overall, the stay had potential, but the noise issues and poor sleep quality really affected our experience.

Getting out of the car park was challenging as people parked everywhere (not enough spaces). Noise bleed was horrific with people coming back throughout the night (flushing loos as well as party makers). The bathroom door didn’t shut properly. All that said the bed was comfy, the blackout curtains helped, and breakfast was great. It is odd checking in and out online, so we never really spoke to any of the staff.

When we booked this hotel, we had forgotten that we had stayed at a Clayton hotel before. We absolutely loved our stay. It was just as amazing as the Clayton hotel we stayed at in Dublin. The breakfast is full of choices. The staff is so helpful. Honestly, I couldn’t come up with a negative if I tried. We will be looking for Clayton hotels on all our trips going forward.

First of all the level of service was amazing! Super friendly staff. I was staying over for a sports tournament over the weekend and the staff made sure my stay was stress free. And on top of that I had the best sleep in weeks with this super comfy bed and the cozy room!

Room was clean, warm and quite. Black out curtains were so good that I couldn't tell if it was morning or not. Bed was comfortable. I slept better than I normally do!!!
Shower had both rainfall shower head and a normal shower that you can take off the hook

Second stay at this hotel, so it must be good! We had another enjoyable stay, and would return again! Staff helpful and pleasant. Room spacious and clean with kettle and refreshments. Comfy bed, clean towels, shampoo and body wash, ironing board, iron, hair dryer, safe and TV. Everything one needs! Excellent breakfast, and about a 15 minutes walk into the City Centre. Car Parking available at the hotel too for an extra cost.

The hotel is clean with generous sized zooms. Room service was convenient, fast and decent food quality, although a touch on the pricey side. Car park is not big enough for the size of hotel and was full by 8pm - with people dumping cars in random places. There is no air conditioning in the rooms - so not ideal for deep winter, or warm days. Breakfast was also dissapointing with very limited range and only one person working the kitchen, resulting in ques for \"order\" items. Overall, good hotel but could do with tidying up minor let downs.
