The room we booked specifically stated there was a bath but on arriving the room we received did not have a bath and beware of the £18 car park charge that isn’t mentioned until you enquire. However, onsite parking is listed as an amenity.

I've stayed here before and it was wonderful. However, this time I was a bit disappointed. Reception staff were wonderful. However, the spa staff were not as nice. Their general cleanliness didn't seem to be there. Phones wouldn't connect for room service. Just seemed to have lost a little bit of the quality that it once had.

Overall nice stay, with a few minor gripes, housekeeping missed numerous items after first nights stay, no water, hot chocolate replenishment. Shower head fired off in all directions as it was old, booked queen bed but felt like a double as we had no movement space, hand lotion in bathroom full but unusable as nozzle gunked up and bottles secured to the wall. Club lounge was very nice and the waiting staff were very nice and attentive.

At checkin failed to pre authorise payment card, which led to confusion ordering meal. My room number was taken but one of the servers then knocked on my door for payment with a card machine! Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room had drink stains on the wall and dusty skirting boards. Behind the bathroom door needed more attention when cleaning. All the pillows were very lumpy and the bed quite hard, slept ok. But everything else was really good. Very kindly, a later check out of 12pm was allowed, my daughter and I wanted to shop in Leeds. Breakfast was excellent! Well stocked, staff were efficient with tidying tables and quick turn around time for cooked food.

The check in was very slow and there was a long queue of people waiting in. The 2 members of staff onthe desks clearly had a long list of questions which they were told to ask- is this your first visit to Leeds ? what is the purpose of your visit ? etc etc. The check in for each customer therefore took a long time at the busiest time of day, late afternoon. It would make sense to introduce a far swifter system in the peak hours of arrivals.

The only thing that let the stay down was the check in. There weren’t enough staff for the amount of people queuing and one of the two staff present didn’t seem to know what they were doing.
The bar staff were very helpful and efficient as were the breakfast team.
All in all a very good visit and will definitely stay again.

Staff were without exception welcoming, courteous and helpful in the extreme. They spared no effort to assist with any query we had or request we made. They were admirably customer-focused , and clearly take great pride in providing guests with a first rate experience.Reception and bar / restaurant staff were excellent ambassadors for the hotel and the Crowne Plaza brand. The breakfast service was first class and very well managed. Overall, the hotel’s facilities were very good. We particularly liked the WiFi, the outside terrace adjacent to the restaurant, the car park and the swimming pool. The pool , however. is less accessible than we had hoped and understood it to be. It does not have a hand rail at the steps which makes it very difficult for someone with restricted mobility to enter the water without considerable support from two or even three other people. Our son is disabled, cannot walk unaided and he needed me, my wife and his sister to assist him into the pool . Once in the water, he had a great time. An appropriate adaptation would be valued by families like mine. Aside from that challenge, we had a wonderful stay due in large measure to an outstanding staff team. Lauren at Reception could not have been more helpful and we greatly appreciated the arrangements she made to provide us with two adjacent rooms which were better and more suitable , given my disabled son’s needs, than the rooms originally booked.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is quite convenient. The club lounge access was quite nice and a welcome surprise. We enjoyed the pool and steam/sauna. Lots of areas around the first floor to just sit back and enjoy. The buffet breakfast was basic but no complaints. The staff were trying to manage the huge numbers to the best of their ability. Our room wasn’t cleaned until a few repeated requests plus my husband found the bed really firm and didn’t sleep well - but these were the only negative aspects to an overall good holiday!

The shower did not have very good water pressure, but was passable. The room itself was fairly clean and of a decent enough size, beds were comfortable and clean. Aircon was available in the room but was also not particularly powerful. The window did not open properly, so there was no way of cooling the room naturally either.

I was severely disappointed at the lack of vegan options for breakfast, there were no non-dairy products available apart from a couple of plant-based milks, so no yogurt or non-dairy spread for toast. The 'fruit salad' option was some orange and grapefruit segments and watermelon pieces. The hot breakfast options were limited to baked beans, hash browns and mushrooms.

If you are vegan and plan on staying here, I definitely recommend that you save money by not adding breakfast to your booking. I suppose I should have researched this aspect before booking, but most of the other big chain hotels have significantly more vegan options available and I presumed this would be the same for Crowne Plaza.

Staff were helpful and friendly, so no complaints there.

All in all, it was an okay enough hotel for somewhere to sleep after a long day at the Leeds music festival, but I would hesitate to book a stay there again unless there were no other options.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Check-in was smooth and quick, and I was even given helpful recommendations about the area.

The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and I really appreciated the little touches—plush towels, quality toiletries, and a well-stocked minibar. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained.

The amenities were excellent as well. The pool was also well-kept and a perfect way to unwind.

What truly stood out was the service. Every staff member I interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely cared about making my stay enjoyable. They anticipated needs before I even asked, which made all the difference.

Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, and a memorable stay. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Leeds and cannot speak highly enough of the incredible staff and service we received. During an unexpectedly stressful situation, the team showed exceptional care, professionalism, and genuine kindness.
From the moment we needed support, the staff were attentive, calm, and went above and beyond to ensure we felt safe and looked after. It's rare to experience such a high level of compassion and attentiveness, and it made all the difference to us.
The hotel itself is lovely and well-maintained, but it’s truly the people who make it stand out. The team at Crowne Plaza Leeds are a credit to the IHG group, and I will always be grateful for their support. Thank you again for everything

Nearly great stay

Hotel was in a good location, close enough to the centre of Leeds but nice and quiet. Hotel was mixed in terms of condition. Lobby and bar were nice, rooms average - good size, nice beds but old bathrooms, but pool area needed some attention. Also a shame the jacuzzi was not working. Staff were also mixed, with some nice and some very strange and a mix of decent and poor customer service.

Enjoyed our stay at Crown Plaza Leeds. Reception staff friendly and we were met with ice cold juice & cake which the children enjoyed. Pool is a good size. Rooms comfortable. We ate in the restaurant, food was delicious, staff were great. Our only negative feedback was the staff member on the leisure club reception did not speak to guests and interact with them in the same warmth and politeness as the other people we met. But overall really good stay and would recommend the hotel to others.

We stayed here for 1 night on the 27th April. The customer service team Yazza and Jade who greeted us were very friendly . We payed for breakfast which was excellemt and plentiful.
The hotel is beautiful and about 15 to 20 minutes tops walking distance from leeds train station .The rooms were quiet very clean and with comfortable beds. We will definitely stay here again.
