Overall, a good stay but there were some things that needed improving. My room cards kept deactivating (and after the first time I kept away from my bank cards) so that was really annoying having to go to and from the reception. One of the cleans, I was left a dirty teaspoon to use for tea and coffee. The gym was good and the staff were friendly though. The room was a good size but the air conditioning was very poor so had to keep the window open

Friendly staff welcomed us, upgraded the room and let us check in super early so we could head out for the day without bags. Lovely spacious room, clean and great amenities too. Fab location for Leeds city centre and the train station. Highly recommended.

Clean room, perfect location. Beds were not as comfy as i expected. Bathroom door does not have a lock which i would expect if you are staying with kids. Also the water pressure was not very good. It was good for a normal hotel but i was expecting more from novotel.

From start to finish, everything was excellent. Check-in was smooth, and the lady at reception was genuinely lovely and very helpful. The hotel’s location is extremely convenient, within walking distance of most attractions and shopping centres. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, a five minute walk to the train station and 5-10 minutes from shopping and dining in Leeds. Check in was great - our room was spotless and very comfortable. Maybe a few more milks for a morning/evening cuppa. Happy hour in the bar (actually 4 hours) was a nice touch.
Can't fault anything and will be returning for sure.

Requested a bath but the temperature of the bath water was luke warm at best and could not find any instructions to increase the temperature. We have used this hotel before and this is the reason we booked again and asked for a superior room but the room did not live up to spectations.

Underground car park is ideal and was £18 for 24 hours.

Hotel bar (Soap Factory) was very nice and the restaurant looked good.

The hotel was a great location, rooms clean and comfortable and a good breakfast.

The car park is too small for the volume using it and very tight for larger vehicles but staff were exceptionally helpfully in finding us a parking space when we arrived and the car park was full .

WARNING! we booked through Expedia who charged us 5% more than the room rate on the hotels invoice at check out. BOOK DIRECT OR AG LEAST NOT THROUGH EXPEDIA

Overall it was clean and in a very central location, I also cannot fault the staff.
In terms of the room & breakfast it was a little underwhelming. For the price paid over the weekend for a leisure break it would have been nice to have had a bath tub and a softer bed. Breakfast very popular which meant often waiting for food options to be replenished. Everything else as expected, many thanks.

There was some confusion when checking in, unsure if they'd actually allocated a room for us, the room was set up for four people and it was only booked for two... Unsure about the glass divider between the bathroom and the bedroom as even when it's set to be be clear you can see the person in the shower and when someone is still sleeping the light still comes through if someone uses the toilet in the night. Food at breakfast was good, coffee is awful though, definitely need a new supplier.

Very much enjoyed our stay, the hotel is very conveniently situated for walking around Leeds city centre, parking in the hotel car park is limited but we were able to find space when we arrived. Our room was spacious and well equiped my only problem was that there wasn't sufficient lighting.Cleanliness was excellent and bed was comfortable and large. The staff were all attentive and went out of their way to help especially the receptionists and the chef at breakfast, he was great. Really enjoyed our stay.

The lobby and external surroundings of this hotel is lovely as I expected, however the room we stayed in was just average. Straight away noticed hair in the carpet suggesting the room had not thoroughly been cleaned. The TV didn’t work properly which was very frustrating. The parking was quite expensive and it was quite compact and narrow too which was not great. Wouldn’t really stay again.

Nice Hotel Easy Check In.

Hotel is not to far from The Railway Station. There are Two Entrances I found Hotel check in was easy. and Receptionist was Polite. Two Lifts which you did not have to swipe you Key Card in. Room was very nice Warm Nice Bathroom with Separate Toilet. Large TV. and could get the BBC red Button News and sport on. There was a sofa and two chairs. a plenty of workspace. And a place for your Suitcase. And a Brilliant large picture on the wall behind the Bed of Like a Swiss Train going over a bridge in the forest. Breakfast was good Lots of choices. The hot food was warm. The Fried eggs looks like they had cooked too many for that early in the morning. Two coffee Machines and Various Tea Bags. Two Toasters which took a while Thick White and Brown Bread and some to slice yourself, Frit Juices, Some slice Meat rolls about 4 different types, Muffins and Danish Pastry's.
