Stayed overnight with family. Room was large and had lots of places for everyone to sit. Shower was excellent. Breakfast way better than expected. Area is excellent. Krogers in same parking lot. We love the room set up. For a room this size, it could use a more comfortable chair in the room, like a recliner. Also several light bulbs were out in the kitchen area, which made it dark. But overall we love staying there!

Wonderful and clean accommodations and large and well appointed. My only concern is that the shower floor had no bath mat and once soap got on the floor, it became pretty slippery...and it is a large shower. I suspect a person that is elderly could have problems with that.

Great place to stay, customer service was fantastic. Everyone was so kind. Kids loved the big pool and the breakfast options were fantastic. Also loved that coffee and lemon water were always available. Room was spacious and clean and quiet. Lots of restaurants in the area. Would definitely stay here again.

We came for the weekend to see a concert at Lucas Oil. The hotel was clean, the workers friendly and the location was perfect!! The drive to the concert was short and easy, the immediate area of the Hotel had everything we could possibly need. Residence inn (Greenwood) was super clean. the rooms were well designed and spacious, the pool was fantastic and they had a great little gym. Breakfast was a typical hot/cold hotel breakfast with a decent variety. we were checked in by Josue and he was amazing....informative, welcoming and very friendly. will seek this hotel next time we are in the area and highly recommend for others as well!

My stay in Indy in May
Weather was true Indiana Weather. The staff were pleasant. The breakfast was a great spread. I honestly had one muffin and Apple juice.. my last day, I regret not taking advantage of the breakfast. I was in town for 6 days for work. I was born and raised in Indy and was amazed to see how full hotels were this early May for the Indy 500. I only have a few negatives. The room has a chemical smell, I had to go buy wall plug ins, not sure if house keeping is mixing chemicals ( I’m sure they are using what corporate has given so no wrong doing on their behalf). I had my room some nights points some on hotels.com, I don’t feel that it is necessary to apply another hold on the same resident and same room. Washcloths please I can reuse towels and conserve water and energy buttttt I will not reuse a washcloth and will not use a loofah. Yes I know bother front desk and housekeeper after hours. Nope, I have respect for the hard working.

The pool was very large for a hotel pool and very clean. My kids loved that there was a basketball court and the courtyard area and fire pit were a great touch. We had a studio room with a small kitchen. Traveling with teens, this was great to have the extra room. Breakfast was great in the morning with a lot of choices. We had a great stay and will book again in the future.

My experience:
We arrived for a wedding, I checked in, I went to the room and it wasn't the correct room type, a much lower type then what I paid for. Ok, mistakes happen. Went back down, she said \"oh, we are \"overbooked\". I asked if there were King Suites available that had not been checked in yet. She said yes, I said, well then please move me to a room that is currently open and be upfront with the next person. I had already paid in full on Hotels.com so it would have been harder to get a refund on the rate for me.
She put me in the correct room type and when I approached that room, the door looked like it had been broken into with a crowbar. I enter the room and the security latch was pried away from the trim. Super unnerving and not secure at all.
I go back to the front desk, she calls another women from the back office and they both seem annoyed that I'm back. I had photos of the door and she asked me to text them to her cell. It was all weird and the situation was not handled in a customer service oriented way. They went through the motions and did put me in a satisfactory room but no \"hey we apologize for this\" or even just to be nice about it. I was very patient so they could figure it out but would never stay here again based on this experience.
They also placed someone else in the damaged room while I was sitting there waiting for the third room. Which was completely unacceptable just trying to pass it off on someone.
We arrived for a wedding, I checked in, I went to the room and it wasn't the correct room type, a much lower type then what I paid for. Ok, mistakes happen. Went back down, she said \"oh, we are \"overbooked\". I asked if there were King Suites available that had not been checked in yet. She said yes, I said, well then please move me to a room that is currently open and be upfront with the next person. I had already paid in full on Hotels.com so it would have been harder to get a refund on the rate for me.
She put me in the correct room type and when I approached that room, the door looked like it had been broken into with a crowbar. I enter the room and the security latch was pried away from the trim. Super unnerving and not secure at all.
I go back to the front desk, she calls another women from the back office and they both seem annoyed that I'm back. I had photos of the door and she asked me to text them to her cell. It was all weird and the situation was not handled in a customer service oriented way. They went through the motions and did put me in a satisfactory room but no \"hey we apologize for this\" or even just to be nice about it. I was very patient so they could figure it out but would never stay here again based on this experience.
They also placed someone else in the damaged room while I was sitting there waiting for the third room. Which was completely unacceptable just trying to pass it off on someone.

We visit Greenwood often and often stay in one od the other nearby hotels and we switched things up and chose the Residence. So glad we did. This was our first time traveling with our service animal and there was plenty of space to take her for a walk.

We were impressed with the size of the room. The room was very nice, all new appliances in kitchen area that was also stocked with all our kitchen needs. The pull out couch was perfect for our daughter and she had plenty of room to play even with the bed pulled out. The desk area is huge. Perfect for anyone on a work trip. King size bed was comfy and loved that the bathroom had full sized pump bottles of bodywash, shampoo and conditioner. We definitely recommend this location. The only downside was the breakfast. It was not very good, bread/toast was not a option and the assortments of other breads were limited. Breakfast was free with the stay so we did partake in it. Overall 9.5 for our stay. The staff was friendly and curiosity as well.

Stayed here with family of 4 while visiting family for the holidays. We were very comfortable in a room with 2 queen beds. Having the kitchen was ideal for traveling with little kids. Room had a large island in the kitchen area which made having family over for a meal easy. Complimentary breakfast was good and had more than the standard options and also quick grab and go items for days the kids weren’t up early. Check-in staff was very friendly. My kids enjoyed the pool. It was a nice size and not like some of the super tiny pools at other hotels. Enough room to spread out and good amount of seating on the pool deck including loungers. Overall, I was impressed with the size of the room and the comfort. No complaints, will strongly consider booking again.

I have stayed here before and had a good experience however this stay was a different story…the pool heat was not working and the staff was actually rude about it. For $300 a night, I would expect more. The room was clean-ish (dusty) and the only silverware was a potato peeler. Half the reason for staying was to have the convenience of the kitchen but no, I had to go downstairs and find some kind of silverware to get us through. I had a freezing child due to the pool situation, which I really feel should have been disclosed on the front end (rather than a poorly written not on the pool door) as we would have stayed across the street at one of the other hotels. When I voiced my concerns at checkout, the VERY rude front desk worker didn’t want to hear it and obviously didn’t care. I asked her name (no name tag) and she told me slave didn’t have to tell me her name. I will NEVER stay here again. That took the cake!
