Let me share our experience. We were awakened by the fire alarm sounding at 4:00am. I contacted the front desk to inquire about the nature of the disturbance and whether evacuation was necessary. The representative stated that it was not necessary, explaining that a water pipe had burst in the boiler room. My wife and I were perplexed by the situation. After a brief wait, the fire department arrived. Unfortunately, the hotel failed to provide any updates or communication regarding the status of the situation or what actions we should take. There was no reassurance that the situation was under control. This lack of communication is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the hotel's business practices. Upon waking at 7:00am, we discovered that the water supply had been shut off. As a result, we were unable to brush our teeth or shower. Despite the inconvenience, the hotel failed to provide any notification or alternative arrangements. I contacted the front desk to request bottled water for personal hygiene and was informed that we would need to collect it ourselves. Given the circumstances and the fact that we paid over $200 for a single night, I expected the hotel to demonstrate a greater sense of responsibility towards its guests. Instead, we were left feeling neglected and frustrated. Upon checking out, I requested a complimentary discount due to the disturbed sleep and lack of amenities. We couldn’t check in until an hour after our check in time of 3pm. The room was still being cleaned.
No pool towels, we were told to use the towels in our room.

The staff was great, the hotel was clean but it needed updates. Cosmetic wise it needed some overall fixes. Our hotel room door was crooked and difficult to latch the door. Cracks in doors and ceilings. We had a chick of the ceiling in our bathroom missing.

Everything was great except how EXPEDIA charged me wrong. And then the front desk staff had to call and have it fixed, fight to do so because they had a small clerical error. Once said clerical error was resolved, it was still some ammount of work to adjust the charges on my virtual debit card (while I'm waiting on a physical copy in the mail) to adjust correctly for local taxes. Not my nor the hotels fault, charge according to local and state taxes for your charges; do your tax research. Don't let other customers go to alternative websites and lose their business because of neglect on your servers to charge your guests correctly, I implore you.

They gave our king bed room to someone else. Gave us a downgrade to double Queen. Gave us room 317 to go to the room to find out was already occupied. Then assigned us to 524 an at 630am someone tried to enter our room work a working room key. Lucky we had the door latch locked. Will not stay there ever again and will tell everyone we know to never stay at a Holiday Inn.

The freshness of the food was questionable and constantly had to be asking for utensils and plates. Not many options available. Stayed for 4 days and they had the same food and the staff in charge of it weren’t very helpful at all.
I don’t think I’ll stay at this hotel again.

Got home today from a two-day stay at the Holiday Inn Indianapolis Downtown. Our room was a 2 queen standard room, and it was very clean and spacious, perfect for the four of us. I called ahead to ask a few questions and advise we would arrive after midnight, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had a variety of items, and the staff in the breakfast area was hustling to keep the food refreshed the tables cleaned. We were in town for an event at Lucas Oil Stadium, and not only was the stadium a quick walk from the hotel, but we were surprised with a great view of the stadium from our room. Great stay---would definitely return.

There was a young lady who was dealing with a leg injury, I can't for. The life of me remember her name, but she was the absolute sweetest human I've ever met. She took care of me efficiently and quickly and we even had a conversation about how my and her son's birthdays were close to each other. Everything was top notch.

I thought breakfast was included in my accommodation but I found out it cost me $9.50 extra.
Room was clean and I liked the idea that it is close to the Convention Center.
Housekeeper on my floor (5th) on Thursday was a little loud while talking on the phone. Not a good impression.

Staff in the front desk was very kind, the physcial hotel could use a lot of maintenance. The bathroom was not cleaned well ,could see pink spots around the bathtub, the walls are super thin so we could hear the room next door and the toilet had some issues with the plumbing. Do not reccomend , hope they perform some maintenance on this building.

Spacious and comfortable room/ suite. Bathroom amenities are mediocre quality product. Elevators are slow and dirty, and there’s not a true restaurant inside this hotel. Paid parking lot and spaces are limited with an agreement with an adjoining parking garage that allows you to park there at the same price which the hotel offers.

Breakfast ran out early the first day with cold cereal left and then no milk.
Room keys stopped working frequently. They stated this was because of the stadium but even those who didn’t go there had problems.
Overall the rooms are maintained ok but well out of date.
I had to request extra towels even though I reserved the room and states how many were staying.
Staffing seems minimal almost like they just maintained since leaner Covid days. They are doing their best but overwhelmed if more than one person needs something at any time.

I reserved a room with two queen beds. When I went upstairs, I struggled to open the door with the key card. Suddenly, someone opened the door from the inside—there were two people already in there. I went back downstairs, and the receptionist said that was strange. She sent someone to check another room before assigning it to me. He came back and said the door was wide open and someone was sleeping inside. Finally, she gave me a room with only a king bed and said it had a pull-out couch equivalent to a queen bed. She told me to come back the next afternoon to switch rooms, but nothing was available. The experience was terrible, though the location right across from Lucas Oil Stadium was the only positive.

When I wasn’t able to sleep at 2:00am I went outside to smoke a cigarette and when re entering I had to be “buzzed”in by the front desk and I told the attendant I appreciated the security that they had in place, I was shocked that her reply was”maybe you should just go back to the party you came from” . There were several areas of concerns that I could only give the hotel an “okay” recommendation. Despite several talks with front desk from afternoon into late evening on 10/7, we did not have any housekeeping service for that day.Another concern is the “free breakfast” which I know is included in the room cost, however a grab and go breakfast in a brown paper bag for our only 2 mornings is not acceptable! Thirdly, the metal bar that sticks out from the bed frame is an accident waiting to happen! While adjusting the air conditioner, my husband tripped over it, smashing and bruising his ankle! This is dangerous and should be looked into as even the housekeeper complained about it! Also, customers should be made aware that when there is a concert going on in the nearby park, the music, especially the hip hop concert on 10/8, was especially loud as our room faced the front of the hotel and went on very late into the evening. To conclude on a good note, the staff were very friendly, the rooms are spacious and the hotel itself is within walking distance of the downtown restaurants and attractions.

Unfortunately I had a few issues on my trip. Upon arrival my booking wasn’t in the system through Expedia so I had to pay the property again directly while I wait for a refund from Expedia. My first room I was in was not clean, walked in bed un-made, trash, used towels etc.. next room I was given keys to keys wouldn’t open the door.. and someone was in the room!! Went to the lobby and was told that room was just checked and it was unoccupied.. incorrect and my keys wouldn’t work. Then finally I was given a room and it was fine. Not the cleanest but fine. Very frustrating night.

Hotel is beyond perfect for a Colts game. Literally takes about 45 seconds to get to the stadium. The staff was AMAZING in every way. Helping with key cards, letting us in the building, helping pick a place to eat. Not one complaint towards the staff

I’ve had better showers, but there’s nothing “wrong” with it. The AC unit took some getting used to, but pressing a few different buttons a few different ways, it was all good. Would gladly stay again
