The room was huge, loaded with amenities, and very clean. The hallways were quiet with no doors being slammed shut. Every employee we came in contact with was friendly and welcoming.

We checked our room around 9pm and unbeknownst to us the heat was not working, one shade was stuck open and there was construction directly outside our window with huge bright lights, and the ceiling fan was going to fall from the ceiling when turned on. After realizing we contacted the front desk and were informed there is no maintenence after hours n we could switch. Since it was late we arranged for them to look at in the am by 1030. In the morning we were told maintenance was behind and won't be available till after 11. We told them not to enter since we were headed out for the day and pointless to switch rooms since we were checking out the next day. When I mentioned all the issues to Allen the General Manager who was busy making himself breakfast kindly dismissed me as it was nothing as said some Hilton points would be added to my account and walked away to finish his breakfast. Not happy at all considering the price of the room, valet parking rates and keys not forget it was -9 outside and the room was 68 degrees even with a space heater, bright lights all night and in return some points added. What a Joke. Horrible experience

My only 2 complaints was it was really hot in the room and we could not get the temp to go down. And we got in really late in the night, driving from MN. And I have an 8 month old who got car sick and when we got to hotel room he got sick on the bed. We slept with it that night because we were dead tired. The next morning I asked for clean bedding because my baby got sick and towels. The response I got was \" housekeeping only does rooms every other day but I'll request it\" I wasn't asking for full turnover service just new towels and duvet cover. So anyways we didn't get it, slept with pukey blankets and when the housekeepers did come in the next day after the initial request day they just remade the bed with the same linens. I used to work as a housekeeper at a hotel and was a front desk manager, so I understand reusing the same linens and the ins/outs of hotel life. However, if a guest came to me at the front desk and asked if they could get new bedding because the baby got sick- I would make that room priority 1. So that was disappointing. However, the location was great. Easy walking distance for the colts game. The room itself was very nice . Love the high ceilings . Valet parking was great too, although one of them did use the term 'dick head' when a stranger knocked on the window from the outside when we were sitting next to it. I'm usually not picky, but having worked in the industry I would hope my staff would be a little bit more professional. Otherwise great hotel.

I enjoyed a 1 night stay in this historic building a block north of Union Station. Indy has a super walkable downtown. The Slippery Noodle blues bar 🍻 is a couple blocks south, and great dining options within a few blocks..Be aware that valet parking charges $50, I'm not sure what the area rates are.

The downside to this hotel is that there is no parking. I didnt realize this until after we made the reservation.They do have a valet service for about $50 a day. We chose to use a parking garage for the weekend it was maybe a block away. Other than that. Our stay was awesome. The bed was comfortable. The room was beautiful. We had a full kitchen. The fridge had an ice maker. The only hiccup with the hotel had the morning we were checking out the elevator was closed for maintenance and we were on the 4th floor. Which really sucked because when i woke up my leg were so sore from walking around the city all weekend. They only have the one elevator. With all that being said our stay was awesome! Room was very beautiful with tall ceilings and a full kitchen.
