the room was in good condition, clean and spacious, the bed and the pillows were pretty comfortable. we even got a free upgrade! there were free biscuits, coffee and cold tea in the lounge room. however, the water temperature in the shower was difficult to manage, either it was too cold or too hot. the elevator was quite old since the hotel is in an old building.

Best stay for a layover!

Check in was a breeze even though the deadline is 12am but I made it on time and even called to let the front desk my flight was delayed. Room was on the 10th floor, where the entire hotel itself is in, so this was new for me. Bed was soft but comfy, bathroom was clean and no mold. Room came with a fan and AC above and it was hot during the summer. WiFi was working well and no problems. Also wanted the free filtered water on the common area and saw there was self laundry service that I did not take advantage there. Location was close to many things.

広く、かわいいお部屋でした。
ビルは古いですが、ホテルの設備は問題ありません。
フロント横のスペースでは飲み物やお菓子のサービスが受けられます。
ウォーターサーバーもありがたかった。
駅から近く便利で、スタッフの方も親切だったので、また泊まりたい！
お世話になりました。
セーフティボックスがあると尚よかったです。

시먼역에서 남쪽으로 5분 거리인데 위치가 너무 좋아요.
까르푸도 걸어서 금방 갑니다.
아침, 저녁때 시먼딩 맛집들 가기 너무 좋습니다.

깨끗하고 따뜻한 물 잘나오고 인터넷 빠르고 청소 잘되고 벌레 본적 없습니다. 더블 침대도 2명 자기에 충분했습니다.

휴게실?에 찬물 따뜻한 물 정수기 있고 차가운 차, 믹스커피, 약간의 다과 있어서 좋습니다.

다음에도 이용할 예정입니다.

Had a wonderful 9 night of stay from 27 March - 5 April.

Good point:

- Room are clean, all staff attitude is responsive, helpful and friendly.

- They have a mini pantry to refill water, winter melon lemon drink and some snack for refreshment.

- Washing machine @ 100 Twd / Dryer @ 100 Twd
For me, paying this only take 50 min for washing 50 min for drying [1time] so paying is okay for me.

[Some hotel have it for free but you have to consume more time to keep washing and drying as they are of low speed and have to spend more time monitoring]

- The food nearby are all very tasty and very near to the train station and ximending.

Can be improve:

- The hotel is at level 10 of the building and have to share the lift with their residence / office people and if you urgently need to use the toilet better find a toilet nearby first.

- Shower water are very hard to adjust, either very hot or very cold.

- Shower water very small, abit time consuming to shower.

- The ceiling is abit too low for tall people above 1.7m to stand in the bathtub for shower so have to shower at the corner beside the bathtub.

- For my room the soundproof was bad it is near to the other room so when i am on my bed sleeping, i can hear the room beside hanging their thing on the hanger as there are the “kiang kiang kiang” sound which is quite annoying and also when people return back to the hotel as it was near the lift too.

But overall summarize, the stay there was still amazing and wonderful.

Nearby Ximending and able to find food around the area easily. Staff is also very friendly and checked us in early.

Did not like that the heater takes some time to heat up as it was cold during the period we went and there's no heater in the room/toilet. Im a light sleeper, in the morning we can hear the heavy trucks driving passing by as well.

Nonetheless, if guests are not concerned with the above, would recommend this hotel.

Lastly would recommend upgrading to this room as it is average size, wouldn't say it is big.

The property is located on the 10/F of a residential building. Building feels relatively safe although access controls could be enhanced to improve guest security.

My stay was good and really appreciated that the reception allowed me to check in 3h earlier as all shops were closed as I arrived when typhoon Kong-Rey struck Taiwan. The convenience of this location and the value for money offered for its proximity to 西门町 is really fantastic.

Our family of 3 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Attic. Rooms were comfortable, facilities were adequate (including a pantry area we really appreciated). Location was excellent - very walkable to where we needed to be, with lots of food options in the area.
Only minor complaint is that room was a wee bit compact for three. Would have given 5 stars on property otherwise.
Would definitely be happy to stay here again.

When arriving the building, we were a bit skeptical as it looks like a very old residential building. But when arrived on the reception level, it gives a different perspective altogether. Nice and clean. Reception staff was helpful and polite. The only thing that is not good is when turn on the water in shower, the drain has a really bad smell. Not sure if this can be improved. Other than this, all is good. Thanks.

Stay well arranged for me who brought an Old mum

Will stay in this hotel again if I visit Taipei again. Super convenient to Ximending the trendy shopping area. Fantastic staff who has arranged our room right opposite the pantry and also their reception and staff had friendly attended to us almost immediately as I thought to informed them I bringing 2 teenage girls and 1 80+old mum with me. Super arrangements I would say and appreciate their help. Sorry to caused much inconveniences as mum asked to call for me. Thank you again. :) to lovely staff.

very responsive on LINE chat when we ask for check in details etc etc. hotel walls are quite thin, can hear footsteps and people talking, but overall a very good hotel

Fantastic location, a short walk from exit 1 of Ximen Station. Plently of food selections around, and of course Ximen Ding was a short walk away.

The hotel covered the entire 10th floor of a building. As budget travellers we would book rooms without windows to save cost. For Hotel Attic, we paid about the same rate for no-window room to get one with window. It just felt better to have rooms with natural light. Fuss free check-in, friendly reception. Water dispenser available at the reception.

Clean room, medium soft bed with 2 pillows. I requested 2 more pillows from the reception and received them quickly. Standard amenities in place and the plus point - bathtub. There were reviews on bad soundproof but we had no issues throughout our stay.

We requested airport transfer at NT1200. Driver was slightly late but he kept the hotel informed. Comfortable and smooth ride. Recommend to arrange the transport with the hotel if you have many luggages.

We had 12 people stay and the hotel hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating. If I had questions, I just asked via LINE and they were able to respond in english as well!

We needed to have 5 for 1 room that had 2 double beds and they kindly added a twin bed for us!

There was cleaning service daily and they restocked us on water bottles each time!

One of our gals needed ice for her ankle injury and the host literally got his own ice from home and donated it to us! SO HOSPITABLE!

We had to check in past midnight and just notified them beforehand in LINE. They were so kind when we arrived and check in was smooth.

Our room was clean and very comfortable. It is also in a very central location for Taipei! We are all very thankful! Definitely will have to come back!!!!

Disappointing.

I stayed in early December with a friend. This is really a no-frills, cheap stay but for the same price, you can get much better in Ximen. Service is lukewarm... luckily they allowed me to cancel one night so I only stayed 1 out of 2 nights so that was nice of them.

The walls really need to be repainted the walls were full of marks.. which is gross affected our comfort levels. The room was stuffy and had a weird smell. The only plus were the big big queen beds, which is why I initially booked here.

The elevator is shared with everyone else in the apartment building and the elevator is old..

Save your money and go elsewhere!!

I was very disappointed in this hotel. The stay felt more like a motel than hotel. The service was very mediocre at the reception desk.. smily but not friendly, inviting, or welcoming.

The room was very stuffy and had a bit of a smell... like musky. And the walls... please paint the walls. They are gross.. there are marks everywhere, which really affected my comfort levels. Even though the room was pretty clean with a bit of dust, it felt dirtier because of the nasty walls. There are way better hotels for this price point in Taipei.. we moved to the Hej hotel for the third night and it was so much better

They did allow me to cancel one out of three nights, which I really appreciated, thank you.

地點十分方便，由西門捷運站步行到旅店不到五分鐘路程。旅店在一幢舊大廈10樓全層但已翻新，全層新裝修。空調是中央的，可調大小風量，可能這幾天天氣冷了，空調調到最小還是很冷，只能關掉然後開窗。浴缸没有浴簾，洗澡時容易弄濕浴室地面。房間空間比較大，放了兩個行李箱後還有空間走動很不錯！

We were a bit skeptical after our driver dropped us off. It occupies the whole of level 10 but it doesn't have any counter at the first floor. Staff was very welcoming and easy going and shared w us many things. Room was spacious and bright. Ideally located near Xi Men exit 1 and near eateries.

Poor design of bathroom, don't understand why there no shower curtain as the water kept splashing out and wet the whole bathroom. Although the hotel is relatively new (under 1 year), some of the paints on the wall was tearing.

Our family of 5 were very happy with this hotel. There were 2 queen beds which were super comfy!! The pillows and duvet were so soft, we slept great :) There is a small sun room area in the room which was good for our kids to sit and colour in. There was a bath in the bathroom, the 1st bath we have had in 2 weeks of travelling so it was nice! The hotel is on the 10th floor in a building and location was excellent, walking distance to the main area, restaurants and the subway. We enjoyed our stay here

It has a great location, just 2 minutes walk from the hustle and bustle of the main ximending area. The management were nice and friendly. The room was very clean. I only wish that they had a shower curtain to keep the water from splashing onto the bathroom floor. It is really value for money!

位在10樓，所以窗戶視野很好，採光不錯，客房、浴室、走廊都很乾淨，床是軟的，還有四顆枕頭，很OK! 走廊燈光、裝潢布置等都很棒!走廊空氣也很流通沒有異味或是潮濕味，服務人員很有禮貌、很客氣! 可以免費寄放行李!有個公共空間供房客買完宵夜一起聊天吃東西，還附免費好喝的冬瓜檸檬，還有兩種小餅乾，咖啡包很加分!
缺點1，應該就是隔音很不好，隔壁左右兩間的聲響、開關門、開關水都會聽到，房間門有縫，所以其他人經過交談也都聽得到，所以，如果是淺眠或是對隔音很介意的就要思考一下。缺點2，空調無法調溫度，是故丁開關，風速有三段，不過，開了很冷，不開很悶，不好調整。夏天開冷氣我覺得會很OK，冬天就會偏冷，所以我多要了毛毯。缺點3，冷熱水不好調整，可能也是因為頂樓跟水壓的關係，會忽冷忽熱，回調一點點就會過冷或過熱，所以調到適當溫水也是花了一些時間，呵呵!
感覺裝潢、布置、服務、客房乾淨度，業者都很用心!交通便利，離捷運西門站一號口不遠，有大間行李要走六號才有電梯。

객실 깨끗, 매일 청소 만족, 습기관리 잘되어 있음, 여행 중 6.7 지진났는데 컵에 둔 물 찰랑이는 소리만 날 정도로 조용했음. 모든 대만 건물이 그렇듯이 이 건물도 오래되었으나 내진설계가 잘 되어 있는듯 함.
휴게실에 마련된 레몬홍차가 맛있음.
시먼딩 번화가에서 한블럭 떨어져있고 공원이 앞에 있어서 접근성이 훌륭한 동시에, 잠잘때 소음 없음.
간이침대 추가하여 5인이 묵었는데 방도 넓어 생활에 불편함 없었음. 방에 둘러앉아 음식과 맥주를 즐길 수 있는 공간이 따로 마련되어 있다는 점이 매우 만족스러웠음.
시먼딩에서 이런 훌륭한 입지의 호텔이 또 있을까 싶음.
타이베이에 또 갈 기회가 있다면 이 호텔에서 지낼것임.
코너만 돌면 대형 편의점과 카페, 식당이 있음.

ビルのワンフロアがホテルになっている、というのがまず面白かったです。
西門駅から徒歩ですぐですし、周りは飲食店も豊富でどこに行くか迷うほどです。
ビルが古めだからか天井が低く、部屋が少し狭く感じましたが、清掃は行き届いていて問題ありませんでした。
共用ラウンジにウォーターサーバー、お茶、お菓子、洗濯機があり、常時オープンしているのが助かりました。
西門エリアでコスパ良いホテルをお探しの方にお勧めします。

西門駅から歩いて数分、大型のスーパーマーケットまでも歩いて数分で行けて、遊びにもお土産調達にも便利な立地。
ビルのワンフロアがホテルとなっていて、内装はリノベーションされているようでとても綺麗。共用スペースにウォーターサーバーやドリンクサーバーがあった。部屋は清潔。ただ、シャワーの水圧が低く、水温も安定していなかったのが残念。

1) 직원친절함&편안한분위기
직원분들 및 사장님? 매니저급 직원? 분이 친절하셔서 너무 좋았습니다. 문제점에 대해 늘 도와주려고 하는 태도가 좋았습니다. 호텔치고는 분위기가 아늑하고 편안한 편입니다. 직원들이 정장을 입고 서빙하는 곳은 아닙니다. 분위기는 호스텔에 가깝습니다. 직원들은 편한 반팔티셔츠차림의 자유복장으로 근무하는데, 모두 영어가 가능합니다. 처음엔 조금 의아했는데, 며칠 보고 적응하니 이게 더 편하게 느껴졌습니다. 시설은 내부에 별다를 것이 없어보이긴 하나 편안했습니다.

2) 가장 싼 숙소는 아니나 가성비 괜찮음
위치가 좋다보니 타이페이의 다른 숙소들의 물가를 생각해보면 (유독 숙소물가가 더 비싼듯) 위치와 시설 대비 괜찮은 가격인 것 같습니다. 제가 묵은 방은 제일 안쪽 방으로 다른 후기를 보면 제가 묵은 방은 창문이 열리지 않아 습기조절이 안되어 냄새가 난다고 하는데… 대만 날씨 생각해보면 창 닫고 에어컨 켜두는게 제일 좋은 습도유지방식일 것 같고, 화장실 창은 열리므로 화장실 문과 창문을 열어두면 환기가 어느정도 되어 좋았습니다. 지내는 동안 특별히 방에 냄새가 나거나 너무 습해서 불편하진 않았습니다.

房間光潔明亮，有幾扇大窗採光很好。
有浴缸可泡，有冰箱可冷凍飲料（沒有冰格）
旅館有公共空間付費洗衣乾衣，有冷熱水機，還有提供小食和果茶。
職員友善幫忙並給介紹附近地點。
離西門站很近，房間就看到紅樓。
但旅店在居民樓的高層，多人出入還是要小心財物。
