I stayed here as a solo female traveler and felt very safe and comfortable. The hotel is close to the MRT, so it was easy for me to travel around and explore the city.
The hotel does not have breakfast, but they provide free coffee, snacks, and fruits. They also gave me a breakfast coupon that I could use at a coffee shop about 10 minutes away by walking. I would recommend this hotel to other women traveling alone.

Probably the fastest check-in and check-out ever! Room access via 2D code from your preferred messaging app. No need to carry another card or install an app, I liked that very much. Spacious bed and roomy shower with super hot water and fantastic pressure. The rest of the room was a bit tight on space. Would be perfect for a single traveler, but for two with 2 large suitcases was too small. Once we opened the suitcases there was nowhere to stand.

Wonderful location- it’s about 2 mins from exit 1 of Ximen metro station. The room is very compact but good enough to feel comfortable. Great amenities provided at reception and I especially love the basement lounge with free drinks, fruits and snacks. That is the winner for me.

Honestly the hotel beat my expectations. We were thinking about switching at the last minute but so happy we didn’t. This hotel is amazing for the price. The staff are amazing, the room is super clean and cleaned everyday. They give you free ice cream, food and sparking water.

It’s 5 star service. Highly recommend. Just stay here.

Hotel room was spacious enough for 2 persons, and very well thought through. It is very newly renovated (as of Aug 2024), and very clean. The showers are hot and water pressure is good - we loved taking a long hot shower at the end of each day.

The location is fabulous, literally 2 mins walk to the Ximending shopping area and subway stop, but quiet enough that you do feel an escape from the crazy hustle of the area. Very well connected - we got the Easy Pass and hopped on an off buses everywhere (there’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel!)

The staff were really lovely and accommodating, and sorted us out on laundry access (in their sister hotel one road down). The hotel also had a great lounge with free snacks, drinks, and yogurt, which was a great place for me to do a bit of remote work from. Wifi is fast and easy to connect to.

Loads of eating options in the area, all fabulous. I will definitely book Orange Hotel for my next stay in Taipei.

The hotel is centrally located, however, the rooms are small and you can hear the noise from the room next door. Not a biggie unless you're a light sleeper like me. The breakfast option provided are vouchers for restaurants nearby which is useless if you have booked early morning tours. Free snacks are provided at basement level though which is a plus but i wouldn't book breakfast inclusion unless i have the time to go use the vouchers every morning

Went on a solo trip. The room was about 18' sqft, catered for 2 but I think may be a bit cramp if there are two 26' luggages. Suits more for 1 traveller and 1 luggage. Location (exit 1 Ximen) and hotel staffs were good.

5 stars experience at Orange Hotel Ximen.

Stayed 5 nights at Orange Hotel Ximen. Location is very near to Ximen MRT station which makes it very convenient to travel to other parts of Taipei. Hotel room is very clean, bed linen and pillows are very comfortable. The staffs are very friendly and accommodating. Plus there is unlimited supplies of yogurts and drinks at the lounge area.

Absolutely perfect location - just round the corner from all the Ximending excitement and a convenient metro stop, buses right out the front, yet whisper quiet in the room. The 24-hour access to free snacks in the basement eating area is the best ever solution for families travelling with jetlagged teenagers! Rooms are small but really cleverly designed and had everything I needed.

we have been a supported of this hotel for the pass years, its about our 6 or 7 stayed at this hotel. It has been pleasant, until our recent stay. the service they used to give is no longer there, Other than 1 very helpful staff, the rest are lukewarm , the cleaners very unfriendly and even our agreement to extend check out at 1230pm was being disturb and knocked on the door twice. we stayed for 8nights and first 5nights we accomodated to the noisy next door guest, as we could not get what we requested (which previously we always get the room requested) even emphasized we are light sleeper. We were waken up by the next door guest from 1am till 3am and blasting their TV loud at wee hours.Until the 5th day we asked for room changed, which we cannot tolerated such disturbed sleep every night.it was so inconvenient to us and never had a good sleep for that 8nights I guess it time for us to say goodbye to this hotel. Our next visit for sure its never Orange again.

We stayed for 4 days in Orange hotel and paid an extra day for staying 5 hours since our flight back is at 9pm. Room was clean and suited for couple. For us, size is just okay. Luggages can fit under the bed. Service in the receptions okay. Kudos to Peter, Sarita and the guy with eyeglass(was not able to get his name). They all helped us since they can speak English and understand our queries.
However, the lady at the pantry reacted so much when we brought out fruits which we are under the impression that we can get since apple and oranges were not sliced. We didn’t even had a bite. We brought it back and reported what happened.
I believe as guests they can manage it well and should not reacted the way she does. For one, it’s just 2pieces and we don’t even eat many during breakfast. For some hotel that we stayed, they offer fruits as a complimentary service.
Sarita on the other hand, gave us complimentary cake since it’s our birthday. Thanks for that.
Location: Very Good near ximending, quiet place not crowded. Should exit ximen station 1. Overall, despite of what happened we enjoyed it and surely consider staying again.

It's conveniently located near to ximending and Carrefour as well. Would recommend you to exit from exit 6 which is the only exit with lifts and cross the street to the hotel. Only a few min walk.

Aside, daily housekeeping and bottles of water are provided daily. Shampoo, soap, hair dryer, and towels as well. I love the eco friendly concept where you can choose to get and use what toiletries you needed - I only needed toothbrush etc. Hotel Wi-Fi is provided as well. Believe there is also breakfast/food bar provided, but I didn't try it as I prefer to try the local breakfast.

The check-in and check out process is fuss free and easy. As I paid via hotels.com , I do not have to give any deposit.

One thing to improve for the hotel would be cleaner bed sheet/blanket sheet and also the walls are thin.

Otherwise, convenient location and nice street view by the bed side was great.

Highly recommend for those who want convenient and travelling with 1 - 2 pax as the room is small.

Opposite the busy street of Ximending and train exit 6 where there's lift access. Convenient for travellers commuting on train with big luggages.
Hotel room is small and suitable for couple with only 1 big luggage.
Kind of non-existant sound proofing , maybe an issue for light sleeper.
Hotel provides 24hr snack bar at basement with spread of light snacks.
Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Provides the option of order and delivery of popular Taiwan delicacies nicely packed in carton box to carry-on flight.
Overall is a value for money hotel at prime location.
Easy access to all train lines, convenient to travel anywhere from XMD.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The check-in and check-out was smooth. We booked a bunk bed room type and was big enough for us (2 girls) with our 2 small suitcases. The bed, duvet, and pillow were comfortable. They provide free simple breakfast and it was good enough for us. They only have 1 elevator but it was not a big deal. The location was perfect, a 3-min walk from ximending mrt station exit 1, and it is in the heart of ximending with a lot of shops and restaurants. Overall, we are satisfied staying in this hotel.

My daughter and I stayed for 3 nights. The location was close to everything. The room was comfortable, clean and very modern. We enjoyed our bunk beds very much. Breakfast was very standard continental, don't expect anything more. Service was good. We arrived early and were told that check in wasnt until 3. My daughter had fallen at a park on the way to the hotel and her leg was bleeding a little so we just waiting in the lobby and placed wet/cold paper towels on it. After about 30 minutes we were given our room a little early. We only experienced 1 bad encounter with a cleaning employee who was very rude.

Reception was playing my favourite music when i walked in. I am not sure if that was a coincidence or if it was because I had previously played my playlist many times in the comfortable basement lounge while doing my work during my previous stays there. The staff could also recognise me and were extremely warm and friendly, as if meeting an old friend.

The room was generally clean and very comfortable as it usually was, except that this time, my particular bathroom has some mould issues around the sink, a problem that was not so acute in the bathrooms of my previous rooms. The hotel should really look into some kind of dehumidifier or better ventilation for their bathrooms soon, which is a better alternative to shower curtains (they get grubby and slimy and are hard to clean).

So nice place and near mrt station.
i can walk to Ximending whenever i want.
room is quite small but have everything i need.
the last night, quite hot at night because of outside weather quite hot too and air condition in room cannot change the temperature.
the room is so clean but my toilet’s door cannot close completely and lock. so, quite inconvenient but not so big problem.
breakfast is normal but fresh and clean.
so love this hotel. next time visiting Taiwan, i will choose this hotel for sure.

Dont get the bathtub room

Toilet with bath tub needs to refurbish. Water leaks to the bathroom floor tills it wets the hotel room carpet. Staffs seems to know that its a ongoing issue. Hotel staff only changed my room upon my request for a room change.

Great breakfast area, quiet and provides you with the essentials to a good breakfast.

Very thankful to the counter staff who helped us on our last day to get hold of our missing cab driver, and even helped us to bring our luggage to the main road as I had injured my leg earlier. Thanks Jessica!

Compact Hotel close to Ximending

Hotel is within 5 mins walking distance from Ximending Station. Room is compact as advertised, and importantly clean. However, some of the items were showing their age such as the blinds which were dirty, and the toilet which showed a little dirt and grime.

Stay was pleasant, with the staff friendly. The 24 hour communal bar was useful, if not sparse. But the proximity to Ximending means you are never short on food options.

Staff was friendly and always greet the guest with a smile. The reception also offer a wide range of service such as airport transfer to delivery of souvenir. Breakfast was decent for the price of hotel and dining area was nicely decorated. The downside was the room was really small and sound proofing issue. Had a bad ache sleeping on their bed but that could be just me. Overall I think it's quite decent for the price and the convenient of the location.

Hotel was conveniently located within minutes to train station, eateries, shopping, and entertainment outlets, including Red House which was just round the corner.
Staff was courteous and checking in and out was a breeze. 24-hour front desk and luggage storage available. Room was very clean and comfortable for solo traveller although it might get a bit too cramped for 2 persons (would recommend getting the rooms with bunk beds instead if sharing with friend). Separate toilet and shower area, with good water pressure.

I thought the cleaning staff would vacuum my room on a daily basis, however he didn't do that during my 3 days stay. This really disappointed me. In addition, the bathroom door couldnt close tightly itself. I needed to use my luggage to ensure the door was closed tightly.

Room is small but clean. Very clever use of space. Shower and toilet also clean. Very close to metro station. A bit unhappy that the free banana were always out of stock during breakfast and wifi in room is not very stable. Overall very good value for money.

Cosy Hotel

Hotel staff was very friendly, they greeted us whenever we are heading out or got back. The room was small but cosy for two people. I really like the environment and it is also very near ximending. Would choose this hotel again when I visit Taiwan again.

Room is really small but very conveniently located. Amenities ok. Down side is not enough hooks to hang clothes and space to put things . Breakfast is okay although not many varieties.

Its really close to food, shopping and the local train system, staff are friendly and helpful, I just wish I had pillows with better neck support, they were a tad too soft

Enjoyed the modern, cozy design of this hotel has offer. It gives a homely and comfortable setting to rest your feet after a whole day of travelling for a holiday trip. Located just 100m away from the train station, in the heart of the city makes everyday travel at ease and efficient.
