We booked three rooms for five days, and the location is great for subway access and attractions. The service staff were mostly friendly and helpful if needed. Breakfast was provided and you could choose from one of 2 daily sets. They alternate and by the 4th day, the menu repeats. They provide kid breakfast only upon request which is good. The room was a bit dusty, especially the carpet. While the hotel seems a bit old, it was quite well maintained.

The place was clean and quiet. One of my daughter dropped her earring and the cleaner managed to find it and left it at the toilet for her. So honest and thoughtful. The receptionists at the desk were all very helpful and went all out to help us purchased some local online gifts. Walkable distance to Ximen stations and very near to shopping areas. A wonderful place to stay, I will come again.

Small hotel but in good location. The room was clean; however, it did have the cigarette smell! I talked to the staff and they came up and said it’s the smell from smoking cigarettes! Not sure why they denied it but we were not happy about it. Luckily, we only stayed for one night. Will not stay there again.

In general, a very value for money stay. It has all the essential things travellors need such as washing machine, WiFi and computer. Location is great too. We like their bath tub. The only thing that may need improvement is the toilet wall tiles. Some part are a bit yellowish. May want to scrub to give even better customer experience.
The breakfast was also refreshing. Everyday was different for the 5 days we were there. And you still can order those favourite items more. Basically it is ala-carte buffet.

There is also a lot of food around the hotel. The only thing is just there is no towel been provided therefore you need to prepare your own towel.
There will be a charge for towel if you request from the reception but it is not too expensive. Acceptable and if you stay for few nights is worth. But maybe can mention at the description before the travelers make the booking.

Not my first stay at this hotel. love this hotel for it's cleanliness. However, the shower sometimes warm and sometimes cold, need to keep adjusting. All Staffs are friendly except the one \"K\" working in the kitchen, always pulling a long face feels like not happy to see guests having breakfast at the hotel. Overall, I still love this hotel.

Clean, very good service and kind staff. Everything you need for a family trip is all prepared here. It's a minute away from the main shopping streets of Ximen. And the location is very close to Ximen metro (only 5 minutes walk). Lots of restaurants and shop around. The bed is very comfortable.

Clean, neat budget hotel in Ximending
The room is new and clean. I like the smell of the shampoo and shower gel. The tv comes with free movies! The washing machine and dryer are very handy so i dont have to bring too many clothes along. The breakfast is good, both the chinese and western selections.

staying at energy inn was truly memorable and amazing. our room was cute, spacious and very clean.the breakfast was delicious. the complimentary coffee,tea,water and snacks were quite a treat! the location's perfect! it's right in the heart of ximending shopping district, the liveliest part of taipei.there were a lot of restaurants and food stalls around the hotel.the mrt is just a stone's throw away.the best part of our wonderful stay is the excellent hotel service.everyone was super nice and sweet.the hotel staff greeted us each day with a smile.they went out of their way to help us with our concerns.they have the best kitchen staff as well.they cooked and served our food with so much care and sincerity.their warm smiles says it all:) we will always stay at energy inn whenever we go to taipei.i don't think any hotel will top this place for me.it surely deserves a 5 star rating!:)

Very good location in Xeimenting many restuarant in same street. Chinese food beside hotel, very good taste (can't read only Chinese name of this restuarant). Hotel is behind Nike running shop. Staff friendly. Room is good size and very clean.

It was a great experience staying at this hotel, new and very comfort! Staff are very responsibly as my luggage was delay, they keep in touch with airport staff , make sure I could get back the luggage at the mid night. They were so considerate as might afraid I was sleeping at that moment, recommend called us in the morning once the luggage arrived. Will be stay at this hotel next time!

Entrance faces what looks like a back alley but it looked safe with a couple of restaurants next door. Very near to a convenience store and cinema, a 8 min walk to Ximen metro station. Umbrellas for loan right outside the door. Friendly and helpful staff. The room that we stayed in was very clean and modern but the bed was right up against the wall so it was a little inconvenient for one person to get off the bed. Both 110V and 220V outlets were provided, also designed without the need for adapter plugs which I thought was a nice touch. Toilet was clean but shower heating was quite uneven. Some basic kitchen appliances were free to use at any time (toaster oven, microwave, fridge, plates, coffee machine) though the kitchen itself felt a little unheated. Breakfast was good but a tad small. On our last day they took polaroids for us to keep as mementos. All in all a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

This is a new boutique hotel right at the Ximending. Basically you can have whatever you want within 5 min walk, from street food restaurant to shopping. Room is not big but this is right at the centre of the most bustling part of Taipei. At least the room is very comfy & clean which is a big plus. Breakfast is simple but it's a good start for the day. A very good stay & value for money. Will choose to stay again.

Awesome experience staying at energy inn for 8 nights with awesome breakfast provided every morning. Very near the metro which allow us to travel around easily. Map were given to us so that we could locate what is nearby, place of interest. Room were very clean and comfy, coming back to a nice room after a long day traveling is the best feeling ever. Very thankful for room service staff for maintaining the room to be clean and tidy everyday.
