For the price it was pretty good. The room was large and my bathroom was enormous with an opening widow! The air conditioning was effective, however, noisey. There was a tea kettle, cups and tea bags and a fridge. The carpet was extremely worn and looked pretty disgusting. The bed was very comfortable and really clean. Housekeeping was great and came each day. 2 Water bottles were provided each day. I stayed for 10 days. I had arranged an airport pickup ahead of time, via email and confirmed with a call to Tin tin (the staff members name) at the hotel, however, no one was there to meet me. I took the MRT and it was fantastic, quite easy to use and local people are very helpful and friendly. I used a driver from the hotel to go back to the airport (going at a bad time for the MRT and I had shopped!) and the driver was brilliant, very quick safe and clear communications. So the hotel although pretty average due to the state of the carpet was worth the $$'s. It was about 1,700NTD through Expedia, however, I stayed another night due to an airline disruption and it was only 1,100NTD. Unfortunately, the Expedia reservation was always difficult to find on the Expedia system and although I asked for assistance I never received any. A shame because Expedia used to be a great way to book accommodation. Thanks Liho Hotel.

Room furnishing is totally bad compare to what they post.
Soundproof is very poor, noise from outside can get through the room especially when outside is rained. There is water leakage from ceiling which may damage your luggage. I've got false alarm in the midnight, and there is no any declaration from staffs

This hotel is about 10 min walk to Xiamen station exit 6. Is very convenient. But one thing I do not like is that the room is super dusty everyday despite opening window to let in some fresh air. Once you step in the room there is one kind of musky smell. Can hear outside noise maybe cos of thin walls. Other than that is still ok to stay. Not bad for the location. Can stay for a few days.

Hotel near Ximen Station within 10 mins walk.

My second stay at Go Sleep Hotel... Hotel serve good breakfast with Chinese and western menu, we enjoy the 4 days breakfast during our stay 10/09/18 to 14/09/18. The drinks is free flow for whole day. Nearby hotel there are other stall holders selling breakfast but we still prefer hotel breakfast not so oily and is healthy. The room is clean and the cleaner done a very good job, although we only ask for 1 day tidy the room. Will come back again...

Nearby XIMENDING, and just walk about 5minutes then arrived the hotel from XIMENDING metro station. (According my experience, not too fast or slow walking speed)
The staffs were very nice and polite who I met at the reception when I arrived and checked in at the hotel.
Everything was quite nice during I staying at the hotel.

A bit difficult to locate as also known as Gosleep Hotel but a welcoming reception soothed my fears. Good sized room, plenty of facilities, breakfast was varied and plentiful. Staff were always helpful and friendly.

We loved our stay. The unlimited coffee and juice helped us relax. The rooms are very, very clean. Its location is so optimal as it's just 1 minute away from my favorite night market, Ximending. Staff are kind. I could not say anything bad. I would definitely stay here again when we return / recommend this to my friends.

Location is decent as it is in ximending area
and about 10mins walk to the mrt but it is worth mentioning that there is a night club locate in 2nd floor of the hotel building and entertainment shop on the 4th floor. Stay away if you mind that. The room insulation is poor as we always hear noise coming from other room. The hotel staff is helpful but the breakfast is so so imo.

Close by location but bad room atmosphere

The only good point is the location was good. However, upon checking in on our first night, we stayed in room 502 me and my girl friend, experiencing dirty stuffs bad atmosphere. Decided to get a room changed. Bed was very stiff, interior layout is all over the place. House keeping didn't do a good job, had to leave our rubbish outside our door despite asking for make-up room. Overall not a very standardise hotel can get very confusing. Will not be staying at this hotel again.

Had no problem finding the hotel, clean, friendly, comfortable! Room was very spacious. Perfectly located near metro, shopping and food! The staff were polite and always helpful. Unfortunately we never got to try the breakfast since we tended to get in late and sleep a bit later. I would definitely stay here in the future!

About 500m to the nearest MRT station. This hotel is centrally located in the busiest area of Ximen. There are plenty of food,shopping & entertainment outlets in the vicinity, all within walking distance. You can go to the city of Taipei and surrounding areas by taking the MRT which are just few stops away from Ximen. Night markets like Raohe, Ningxia & Shilin are not that far including the famous Taipei 101 landmark building which are all accessible by the MRT. A beautiful city view of Taipei can be seen by going up the mountain track of Siangshan which is about an hour walk from the Siangshan MRT station.

The hotel takes the form of several floors in a building that has a multitude of other things. This format is quite normal in Taipei for cheap but high value accommodation. I’m generally ok with this type other than the fact that often the rooms have no windows as the building was not originally designed for hotels.

Hotel was clean big and comfy. Staffs were great can help in directions and good in english. Breafast was a plus. 24 hrs free juice coffee or tea. Location was just walking 5 minutes from ximen station and 15 minutes from main station. Everything was great. Look for Go Sleep Hotel at the 1st floor lobby.

The wifi was bad. I had informed the reception and there wasnt anything done.... the breakfast wasnt as good as going outside to any shops and eat instead. But if you wanna save some money you could still eat in the hotel. The cleaniness was good. The toilets are very clean. The lower levels looks rowdy as there are mahjong and night clubs. The overall stay was ok still as its consider near ximending area.

I like the amenities such as the free laundry, room safe and luggage storage which we made use of. The staff were helpful and friendly. Free coffee and tea 24 hours a day is a nice touch.

We stayed here for 1 night. Apparently Diary of Ximen II is where Go sleep is. A little hard to find the place. Huge check in area. There's a lot of rooms. Reasonable size for the price and includes breakfast. However they will charge for late check out. Rooms were clean but the washroom was a bit small. Not much amenities. It was a little noisy as our room faced the street. For the price you pay this is reasonable.

Stayed four nights at the hotel. I had the opportunity to stay in 2 different twin rooms due to a leaking air-conditioning on the third night which led to a change of room.

The first room was within expectation based on the hotel rating and cost. Although located on the 8th floor, ground floor traffic could still be heard, as well as sound from the television from neighboring rooms. This should be fine if you are not a light sleeper. Toilet and room is generally clean.

The second twin room (also on the 8th floor) was much quieter as it was not facing the main road. It was also more spacious than the first room and had better internal furnishings.

Thought breakfast could have a slightly wider variety to include the international spread to some extent (e.g. bacon, scrambled eggs, etc.).

Would like to compliment on the service. Hotel staff was quick when we requested bottled water, as well as for the change of rooms. Overall, the hotel was quite value for money.

Nice hotel near xmd.

Second time staying here. My first stay had set a high benchmark. Gotten a smaller room this time round. Still not bad though, spacious enough for luggages. But honestly prefer the first one hah. The room window facing another location probably with many cars passing by, could hear some loud motorbikes sound at night/early morning. Aircon couldn't really set to certain wind speed as it will make loud noise too. Everything else is good. Staffs are very nice and helpful as well. Will stay here again :D

Overall it was convenient and pretty ok, from the price we paid per night $75+ however the unit we stayed the Aircon wasn't working very well. It was directly ABV the bed which made it very uncomfortable to sleep (sometimes hot sometimes very cold) bed comfort can be much improved on, zero comfort.
Apart from that clean and convenient, service is good they even provide string tape and weighing scale for luggage when checkout, and free flow beverages too everyday

We booked this hotel last minute because the property we booked had some problems. Checked in in the middle of the night and were served promptedly by friendly staff. A male staff was also kind enough to walk us to our room and tried the key for us when the 1st key we received had got problems opening the door. Location also near Ximending which makes shopping much more convinient. Definitely staying here next time in Taipei!

Shared building. On the 4th floor is a gaming area which makes it unsecured. They give you keycard for the elevator but other people can just ride with you.
No mirror and dresser within the room. Have to use the small mirror in the bathroom.
Shower is good. Good hot water as well. Clean comfort room.

Nice hotel near xmd.

First time staying here because the previous time I wanted to book but it was full already. Reviews had some bad ones so wasn't quite expecting a lot. Turns out this hotel is NEAR PERFECT I swear! :D Very very satisfied with it being very spacious, jaws dropped the moment I open the door. & realised their description of the room amenities wasn't up to have any disappointment, there wasn't any bathtub stated but I must say I'm lucky enough to get a room with bathtub ;) thankyou diary of ximen ii! would definitely stay here again and hopefully getting the same amazing room :D the staffs were very nice too!

We booked a delux room, but upon our arrival there were no delux rooms available. More over we had to switch the room 4 times to finally end up in something acceptable (which was more of a standard room and we didn't get compensation for it). When you'll be booking your stay keep in mind that many rooms have no windows and there are crowds during the breakfast. On the other hand the hotel is located in the touristy part of the city, so all the restaurants and shops were really close

One would thought this is a low-end budget hotel, but it pleasantly surprised us. Situated right in the Xi ming ding business district, lots of places to sample great food. Hotel has a registration desk on the main floor, but most of the rooms are only accessible via elevators on 8th floor and above. One cannot really complain about the noise, even though the newly remodeled windows are dual-paned. However, the walls between room are a bit thin.

私の部屋はフロントに近くて部屋の外の会話が聞こえてきました。音に神経質な人にはお勧めはしませんが、周りには飲食店やコンビニも多くて重宝しました。立地はとても良いです。

Très bonne surprise concernant la taille de la chambre : on y est à l'aise. L'hôtel est bien situé en centre-ville, proche d'une station de métro et d'un axe lourd de bus. Egalement juste à côté d'un quartier animé le nuit.
On retrouve dans la chambre une grande salle de bain, une armoire avec bon nombre de cintres, un frigo, un sèche-cheveux, un grand lit.
