Hotel was very convenient for it’s in the heart of Ximen. I also appreciate the hotel shuttle service they offer. Rooms are spacious, however, we encountered issues with the loose shower head that keeps on falling from its handle and there was a gap between the shower and toilet allowing water to seep through. Other than that, i’d still recommend the place for it convenience.

The hotel is in a great location and was still very quiet. The room was very simple with no bells and whistles. It had no telephone which I found odd. My safe did not work and I told the front desk several times, but it was never fixed, so I just dropped it. The room had a fridge which is always nice. It's near a public subway stop (Ximen), and close to the walking district.

Location is very convenient from the MRT and The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was quite small and like other reviews stated the walls are thin so outside/neighboring room noise could be heard. On Expedia it stated that they offer 24 hour shuttle service, however that is false. Front desk said they don't. The dryer also doesn't work efficiently on bigger loads. If you have a few pieces of clothing only then it works fine and it's not free. Overall, minus the dryer not working efficiently and the noise, I would stay here again for the convenience of location.

This is the only hotel I frequent each time when I am in taipei. Was disappointed this time. Room was hot and stuffy, couldnt sleep at night. Requested to change a room but was rejected. They checked the air con and said it was working fine. The only solution they could offer us is a noisy fan. Toiletries provided was only toothbrush, asked for shaver upon request and they gave. Then why in the first place it wasnt provided in the room?! The only thing that remained good was the good location. Nothing else.

The room is clean & comfortable, need to open your luggage placed on the bed. We had a good sleep.
The hotel is conveniently located at Ximending, inside an alley with no parking. 3 mins walk to XMD Station Exit 6. Airport Shuttle service is offered for an extra charge. The front desk staffs are friendly.

Very good location -- Ximen metro area, 2-3 blocks from the metro entrance. Hotel staff was helpful and responsive, but not outwardly and affirmatively friendly. No complaints! Rooms (I actually stayed twice, at beginning and end of trip) are clean, modern, up-to-date, well-equipped, wit a very comfortable bed. Very nice, in short. Downside is size and natural light. Having stayed twice, I saw three different rooms (two I stayed in plus one I rejected as just too small and claustrophobic). The first one on my first stay was just fine - decent size and though not window in BR, there was a window in the bath and the shower (two separate rooms), and that light filtered into the BR through glass doors. On return to the hotel, I was assigned a miniature room with a window approx 1\"x1\" in the bath. I just couldn't stay in that, so asked to be moved. The staff happily complied, and gave me a windowless though larger room. It was just fine for a one-night stay. Though many rooms have little or no natural light, they are not \"dark\" in that there is gracious plenty artificial light. All said, I would definitely stay there again, but get an upgraded room for size and light.

one thing that i like about this hotel is the proximity to the night market station. its just a 2 minute walk away. what i didn't like about this hotel is that they have a very strict policy about check out time. at first they told us that the check out time is at 12nn or we will be charged 300nt per hour. on the day of check out, someone called us in our rooms and told us that we have to check out before 12nn or we will be charged! we stayed for 6 days. i hope they could be more lenient to this matter. wall paper in my room is already worn off. and there is no bidet in the bathroom. overall, we did had a great time staying in the hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located at the central of Ximending, and the MRT exit is less than 2 minutes away. In addition, there is a 7-11 in less than 1 minute walk. There are also self-service washing machine (30 TWD per wash) and dryer (10 TWD for 30 minutes) for laundry. Washing powder is provided but only 1 washing machine and 1 dryer are available.

Inside the room, the toilet is a little too narrow. Your knee will almost touch the glass door when sitting in the toilet. Moreover, you are not supposed to flush toilet paper into the toilet bowl due to an outdated sewerage system, making it inconvenient and unhygienic although the room is cleaned daily.

Toilet System In between !!!

Location is superb as Ximending street food and shops are just besides the hotel. The odd thing is the toilet system : upon check-in, receptionist showed 2 posters and announced not to throw toilet papers into the toilet bowl but dispose it in the dustbin provided. Each time I forgot and dump it into the toilet bowl but gave me anxiety in case it gets jammed and cannot flush down!!! The toilet size is too small as one cannot close the sliding door when one is using it; so at times one can smell the foul air from the toilet if you dump the dirty toilet papers into the toilet dustbin.
Whist my friends ( rooms without window) paid less than me because I paid extra for a room with window, I was given a room with a Small window but obstructed view as there was a big metal object just outside the window plus my friends’ rooms on the ground floor are bigger than mine, I would be better off paying less! 😭

The location is ideal as it is within walking distance to the the MRT station Exit 6. A lot of activities around the property. Please note entrance to the hotel is dim.
The economical room is really small with no cupboard. Not advisable for long stay. However the bed sheets and towels are very clean.
The only complain we have is not able to flash toilet paper into the toilet bowls.

The hotel is located in a extremely convenient location, you can go back to the hotel after shopping to put the stuffs and carry on shopping again. Though it is located in the alley. It can be easily found. The receptionists are friendly and the rooms are nicely make up. As my room is next to the fire man exit, you can clearly hear the movements outside the room. It would be more helpful to put up a roadsign to indicate the location of the hotel as we found it hard to locate the hotel in the first day ( hotel is located at a back alley )
Could we suggest to put up towel hangers in the bath room ( or the sliding door ) as there was none.

Air con vents very bad and could smell strong cigarette smoke in tbe room. . When I called the staff to feedback about the cigarette smoke smell, the staff told me it's not within their control and will only be able to loan a deodorizer. After fixing the deodorizer in the room, it didn't help much. Very disappointed with the service and stay. Only comfort was the good housekeeping service and the convenient location.

Rooms are clean and well set up. The location is perfect right beside Ximen walking street and close to Ximen MRT. There's a 7-11 across the alley and many many restaurants and shops all around. The staff are quite helpful and courteous.

I was surprised with an upgraded room on check-in, which was wonderful. It was a larger room with a window and a nice view over a temple outside. This delighted me and made me feel welcome from the start.

One concern was that the front desk phoned my room after 11PM, which was too late and woke me up from sleep. However, the employee was calling to offer me an extra service I had requested earlier in the day - so I do appreciate the news, if not the time of the call. I think he wanted to make sure I got the news before I went to sleep, and maybe thought I was still awake - so no bad feelings about this.

Overall, this is the second time I've stayed in this hotel and I would stay a third time for sure. The value is quite high overall.

The location is right smack within the shopping and night market area. Food and shopping were all within walking distance. The rooms (we had 2) were small but had everything we expected and were clean and modern. No complaints about the staff who helped whenever we needed from taxi bookings to recommendations.
