The staff is awesome and the food superb! The rooms are clean and comfortable although they could use some renovations. For example, some of the floor boards were loose. The location close to the airport was perfect, because our flight home was cancelled twice due to the weather. I would stay here again without any hesitation.

This should not be called an airport hotel. It is false advertising...cost me 50 Euro to get to the airport.

The room quality was also very poor...horrendous mold in the shower, shower flooded out into the bathroom, door locks didn't work as they were some modern security lock that started alarming in the middle of the night for an unexplained reason, wall paper was falling off the walls...not up to the Novotel brand that i know from north america as a premium European brand.

We checked in late in the evening and the staff were not very welcoming. The taxi cost over €30 because the hotel falls into a different area to other airport hotels. On check in , no information given re wi-fi and we could not locate any in the room either. Room was very basic but clean.
I was due to stay here the night before my return flight but cancelled and stayed at Wyndham Garden instead - very good decision.

The most vile hotel we have ever stayed at.

PROS: NONE!

CONS:
1. No advice at check in about amenities within the hotel, restaurant times etc
2. Staff rude, don't really want to help
3. Carpets stained everywhere
4. Bathroom light constantly flickering
5. Bathroom light switch 'sizzling' - electricity sound (health & safety issue)
6. Complained to reception for 3 days consecutively about the bathroom, told it was fixed but it never was
7. Water coming from taps was brown
8. I have been bitten by something in the room

Please do not book, no matter how cheap. Hotel is 40 mins away from city centre - costs £40+ in taxi fare.

The AC was not operable, and we got bed bugs.

There are many, many reviews pleading with the hotel to activate the AC. The hotel has responded to reviews but has failed to take action. They do not care. The room was so hot. Opening the window is not a good option - the hotel is next to the highway and noise kept us awake. Also felt unsafe to have our toddler next to the open window with no screen or barrier.

We noticed bites the next day. Upon unpacking, we found a live bed bug in our luggage.

Was expecting a clean, generic experience to get a good sleep before a long flight. Did not have a good sleep.

There were some stains on the sheets, but otherwise the hotel was very clean. The staff was very helpful and welcoming, which was wonderful considering the lengthy flight and layover we had to get here. Be warned that the rate to and from this hotel from the airport is about $28 or 25 euro. Highly recommend if you're looking for a convenient option next to the airport!

The hotel has a limited menu and bar. Do yourself a favor and go for a walk. There is a great Italian place Il Vicolo.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences that we've had. I never write reviews but feel I must warn others about this place. If you plan on staying here anytime between June and September please be aware that there is no air-conditioning in the public spaces or your room. We stayed here when it was 35 (95 Fahrenheit), it was impossible to sleep in the room. When asked the front desk to help with the issue they sent up a fan saying that this is normal for this hotel. The rooms are also very worn out and dirty, the carpets have stains, the curtains are dirty, and the bathrooms smell of mold. We rented 2 rooms for our family and both rooms had similar issues. This hotel positions itself as a 4-star hotel on Expedia but in my opinion, it's no better than a 1-2-star motel comparable to a motel on the side of a freeway.

The property isn’t close to the airport either and there’s no shuttle (taxi is €30 ). If you are looking for a hotel prior to flying I would strongly recommend you stay somewhere else nicer as you’ll have to take a pricey taxi either way

It is a good property, as soon as you enter the building you understand you are entering a global chain. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately there were somethings which according to me were quite unusual. You take all your luggage to your room by yourself. I think that is pretty common trait in Italy. The thing that led me to give 3 stars for the staff was that on my second night, I called the hotel front desk and asked the attendant if I can have some cream for the coffee. The lasy was pretty rude and she told me she was busy and can only bring it to me after half an hour. Unfortunately, nothing ever came or was sent to our room. The hotel’s AC needs some maintenance, first, it was locked at 24 degree celsius, I asked the hotel staff about it and they told me it was locked and they forgot to unlock it. Secondly, even at 19 (you could not go below that) it was not cooling the room.

Overall, my visit was good. The pillows were really flat though. Finally, I think, the hotel staff has to be trained according to the international standards of Novotel.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The bed was extremely comfy, the buffet breakfast was great and had lots of choice. The staff were also friendly and would help with anything.
This hotel is right near the airport, only a 10min drive from the terminal (cost us €25 for the taxi). This hotel DOES not provide easy access to Florence itself - you would need local transport or a taxi to get into the city centre.
There are restaurants and a supermarket close to this hotel in the area.

Far, very very far from nearest attractions or convenient transportations. We had to take taxi everyday which cost $50-60 one way. Slow Wifi, no A/C at 80 degree F, no USB port at all, no kettle or coffee maker. Staff tried but nothing much they could do. Room is spacious and clean. Breakfast was good.

No air-conditioning in room even though hotel advertised it has air-conditioning. Room was extremely hot, no ventilation in the bathroom. Hotel gave us a fan for the room but the fan is old and has a smell, it blew warm air so that didn't help much. My friends and I couldn't sleep comfortably at night, we often wake up because it was so hot in the rooms.
We stayed there for four nights, two of the nights it was over 80 degrees fahrenheit outside.

We booked two rooms and were lucky to get them opposite each other. Very nice bathrooms and the beds were really comfortable to sleep in. The rooms were spacious and with all the amenities that we needed, for instance, it came with a fridge and a safe.
The staff were really helpful and gave some great advice on where to park and get the tram into Florence. They also gave other recommendations to day trips that really paid off.
We would definitely come back to this hotel as at exceeded our expectations.

The staff was friendly and helpful but the room was in terrible conditions. There was what looked like a vomit stain on the carpet of the room right when you walked in the door. The walls had scuff marks on them. The air conditioning unit didn’t work until someone came up to manually reset the thermostat after multiple calls with the front desk trying different restart options. Nevertheless, helpful, kind staff who arranged a taxi for me to pick-me up for my early morning flight.
