We had 5 nights there. The room’s power circuit breaker would trip around 11:30 pm every night, and we would sleep without power. Also, there was a very slow shower drain, and a puddle of water would form afterward. Reported the issue, but not resolved, but changed the room on the final night.
Breakfast was one of the best we have seen during our visit; the Staff were friendly!

Beautiful scenery with rude and mediocre stay

The hotel was set around beautiful scenery but the rooms don’t show it.

Room was on the bottom floor with no air conditioning and a window that only fully opened so doesn’t feel safe to have open over night. This made the room boiling hot.

Reception staff we relatively blunt and rude. The waiting staff in the restaurant were friendly and the food was great but the male manager was also quite unfriendly.

There is a bar but no one is ever manning it and there seems to be a large lack of seating around it.

It’s an okay hotel but it needs maintenance. The surrounding area was not well maintained, the grass overgrown, the pool full of dark water and not functional but it’s the first photo you see in the listing. The bathroom had a water problem and all the water will run towards the room. You could see that this was an ongoing problem because the tile was stained. The staff was really nice.

I liked the stay at this place. I stayed for two days. I felt safe. The breakfast was free. very nice and plenty. The bathroom had a leakage from shower. There was a towel kept on the towel purposefully. When I took a shower, I saw lots of water coming out to the floor. I reported it to the lady at the front desk she said that every room is like that. I realized that she didn’t want to hear me.
The next day it was a lot of water coming out, I again reported it to front desk and told her the leaking would damage the building and then immediately she sent someone to fix it.
I would recommend this hotel. Even though it is located far away from Florence, it is a quiet place.

I won’t stay there again for sure . The hotel isn’t like the images. Problems with AC . Hotel carpet needs attention. The hotel needs renovation. THE POOL IS NOT HOW IT LOOKS LIKE IN THE PICTURE. It’s much uglier. Price was alright but It certainly was not a four star standard for me, not even three. Unless this is just the local standards in Italy

Unfortunately our stay was a bit unpleasant; our room was extremely hot. I couldn't sleep as to how warm the overall temperature was and couldn't regulate it. Had to open the windows to try to breathe and stop the sweat.
In the other hand, the shower was defective and splashed water out of it.

Very Disappointing

Suitable for 2 stars only as they do not have facilities which one would expect in a 4 star Hotel and those facilities which they did have required upgrading and refurbishing.
The pictures in the website are very misleading.
In the room NO:
1. Poorly stocked minibar ( 4 bottles of water , 1 can Fanta, 1 can of Beer)
2. No tea and coffee making facilities
3. Shower door broken ( generally scruffy and unclean)
4. No Laundry at weekends told to use the service in the shopping centre.
5. Staff rude, aggressive.

Great hotel! Very good location to Florence for an affordable price! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only issue they need to fix is to renovate the outside and some of the inside to make it look more pleasing. The breakfast was also great! Deffinately would recommend to a friend!

Probably the WORST hotel in Florence

The worst hotels I stayed in Europe so far! And I travelled a lot and stayed in many cheap hostels as well.
First, it was located far away from Florence in the middle of nowhere. It took us 1 hour from the central station to get there and they didn't let us check in so we took another hour back to the city.
Second, the services and management of this hotel is terrible, which totally ruined our trip in Florence. They would charge you taxes not before check-in but before check-out when you were in a hurry for another trip.
Third, the breakfast was a disaster. They couldn't tell you were an individual guest or with group guests and would scream you out of the canteen and ask staff to check your room with some paper of their own. And they didn't apologise for being treating us like prisoners.
Forth, if these won't make this hotel the worst choice of stay in Florence, I am surprised!

On reflection this hotel does NOT deserve it star rating.
* Bathroom was a joke, it was small and awkward, the loo was about 15cm from the shower door and nearly impossible to use.
* Wifi was non existant in the room
* The noise from the lift was incredible and I could not sleep as every time it was used the racket could wake the dead.
* The bed had seen better days and should have been consigned to the dump a long time ago.
* Condensation/ventilation was poor as water ran down from the windows every morning; winter is not the time to have your windows open all night.
* The walls did not keep out sound, a noisy couple next door and people walking past the door in the early hours of the morning!!!

While some the staff were helpful to a point other definitely require customer care training. A previous review said the lifts were small, they were not kidding. The breakfast was reasonably good after some sorting out.

I will not be going back there.

Convenient hotel out of the city

The hotel was easy to find. Although 20km out of Florence it has easy access to the motorway so a trip into the city is not difficult. The hotel staff provided advice about where to park in the city and where to go. The waiter in the restaurant knew his craft, answered our questions about the local foods to order and provided great service.

Staff were very helpfully and friendlly thus excellent. Clean hotel too. Situated near airport with minimal traffic and next to it is a shopping mail.
It is located in a quiet location thus a perfect place to relax and be near the airport at the sametime. Liked the idea that the pool is all days and long hours opened. Wished the the restaurant was opened on weekends too and that they had a more choices from a hard cover menu. A little bit disappointing. Free wifi but hardly worked in the rooms. A nuisance especially when one need to work online.

Unless you really must save money avoid this place- we were duped but left within an hour.

When we arrived I knew right away it was a cheap location for travelers who didn't know what there were getting in the \"package\"

The photos appeared modern but the hotel is not and has many problems:
1. Old carpet
2. Single occupant (no luggage) hand-operated-door elevators
3. An odd smell in the whole building- like mildew and rust
4. Long distance to anything 30 min to city center
5. Convenience store is not far but I was not brave enough for the neighborhood
6. Everything was stained - not necessarily dirty but bad looking nonetheless. Paint that was present was poorly applied.
7. Rooms are tiny and the beds were oversized so movement in the room was nearly impossible. Linens appeared clean - though I never got in bed
8. Oh and ominous bars on the window

I don't know how this hotel has any stars or good reviews unless

The restaurant wasn't worth trying and had the same odd smell

We left as soon as a taxi could make the long trip out to pick is up.

Amazing hotel, terrible location.

The hotel itself was beautiful. We had a very large room and the breakfast was perfect with lots of choice. Some of the staff were slightly rude however and the location of the hotel was horrendous. The hotel is basically situated in the middle of an industrial estate. There is a Carrefour supermarket across the carpark which was a relief but other than that there's very little civilization. There is a train station close by which can be used to get to Florence City Centre but there's nowhere around to buy train tickets. The bus is normally €2 to get to the city if you pay buy cash. Apparently you can buy a ticket for €1.20 but we couldn't find anywhere to purchase them. The buses arrive about every 30mins and it takes around 50minutes to get into Florence. Overall the hotel itself was amazing but the location would put me off every staying there again.

the worst hotel stay - EVER!

we had heard of the driving and parking restrictions within Firenze, so we thought we should stay outside of the city. we picked this place because the pictures looked decent and other reviewers wrote decent things about it. i am here to tell you that they all wrong. the location was no where close to Firenze and will take about 1/2 hour by car and 1 hour by bus. we arrived during daylight and was stunned by the condition of the hotel. the outside looked questionable, at best, and even scarier at night. the lobby was dirty, elevator was so tiny, it will only fit one person and maybe one bag. our room had filthy carpet, no A/C, the bed had no springs left in them. the walls in the hallway smelled like mildew w/ yellow stains. the bathrooms had mildew on walls and we changed rooms and saw 4 other rooms that were just as bad. our bed had body hair in them. there are no toilet seats on toilets. when we drove back to hotel late at night, we found out the location of hotel was right on the same strip where many women were standing on the street providing services. they begged us to not write this review, but it is simply too bad to not warn other travelers.

Good for the Price

This hotel doesn't look so great on the outside but it is not bad inside. They serve a good Italian breakfast and the staff are helpful. The bus stop is right outside the hotel door but it doesn't run very often to get you to Florence. They staff were not very helpful in getting us tickets and telling us what we needed to know to find when to get off. We ended up getting on the bus without a ticket because they told us we could buy it on the bus. And then the bus driver couldn't speak English so thank God for a nice good Samaritan woman the had an extra ticket she sold us. It's a good 45 min bus ride into Florence too. Their is a grocery store close and restaurants so that is nice and the pool is great. For the money...it's a pretty good deal if you don't mind being a ways away from Florence.

DON'T BOOK this HOTEL!

Some of the negative aspects in brief:
- Absolutely decadent structure with the front crumbling;
- Breakfast really poor quality. At 9.30 am already almost finished;
- Swimming pool with just 4 sun loungers intact, but uncomfortable. Garden untreated, uneven floor;
- Sat TV in Room?! No signal from the parables.
- Cleaning ladies on the phone in the hallway, and soundproofing is really bad;
- The reception is so rude, in particular the girl listless, he gave us a free hand to his mouth yawning, rude and totally unsuited to the reception and customer management.

First Hotel near Florence

This hotel was very conveniently located right off the autostrade right outside of Florence. Easy to find. In a industrial area but very quiet. Hotel was well appointed and great breakfast with eggs, meat, juices and plenty of coffee. Free internet and parking. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone going to Florence. The price was good.

The hotel was busy and fairly full with business travelers. The rooms and lobby areas were a bit run down...peeling paint, etc. My room was in similarly poor shape. But the bed sheets and coverings were clean and the bathroom amenities were nice, although the little container of earplugs gave me a clue that the surrounding neighborhood might be noisy. It was! The included breakfast was very nice and dinner in the hotel restaurant was very acceptable.

Other than the front desk clerk, the hotel staff were lovely.

The hotel is quite nice, room was nice, bed very comfortable. Few TV channels, old-style TV, no internet access. Four bottles of water in the mini-bar, nothing else. It was Sunday, so pretty much everything in the local area was closed, including restaurants. Major annoyance: desk manager told us that supper would be served at 7:30PM, yet when we got back in at 7:15PM, he said, sorry, no supper! Yet, a large group was in the conference room being server a buffet meal. If you stay on a Sunday, you may want to bring your own food.

The hotel lies about 12 kms from Firenze center. The bus station is very near to the hotel. Travel time is about 40 mins to Santa Maria Novella in Firenze, buses go every 30 min. Tickets can be bought at the hotel reception and are cheap. Very ideal place for chilling out after a long sightseeing in Florence but the restaurant at the hotel is pretty expensive. Coperta (the price you have to pay to sit down by a table is 2 EURO/person. At the most frequented sqare in Forence, near Palaccio Vecchio it was 1.50). However, there's a Carrefour hipermarket very near to the hotel (500m on foot) where you can buy some extras. Anyway, the hotel itself is worth the price in Italy so if you can arrange a double for EUR 60-90, it is a good deal I think.

3 star not 4 star hotel but good value for money

If one drove then the hotel's location of a few minutes drive from the motorway exit/entrance was very convenient but otherwise I wouldn't call it a \"Florence hotel\" as it was quite a few Km's from the town centre. We took the bus into town and it was about 30 minutes drive and very straight forward as there was a bus stop opposite the hotel. There is also a very large modern supermarket complex with a number of other shops close by. I however, didn't think the hotel was 4 Stars as rated on Expedia and was more 3 stars. Also the furniture in our hotel room was very dated and the bathroom and hotel service was quite basic. Redeeming features are that the hotel has a beautiful swimming pool (plus a spa service, which I didn't use), ample sized rooms and huge comfortable double beds. Overall the hotel atmosphere felt really tranquil even though it was located few minutes away from the motorway. Apart from the misguided 4 star rating my only other concern was that each time we entered the hotel there seemed to be a different reception staff and their level of customer service was a bit of a lottery. Most were pleasant but a few were curt. Lastly the hotel is in a very convenient location if one wants to visit the business district or explore nearby towns like Siena or San Gimignano.

You REALLY should READ this review!

Well to first start off the hotel is not that close to the city of Florence. You need to take at least a 30-45 min bus ride and I would not consider that a relaxing vacation but if you have a RENT A CAR I would recommend this place because you can get there in like 15-20 mins and it a relaxing drive if you are doing it yourself. The hotel it's self is very nice but the customer service you get be not the best they all seem like they hate their jobs but for the price what can you expect. I would say the room are pretty comfortable spacey nice showers with a TV but your on vacation you should not really spend that much time in the room any how. I did leave a pizza that I order from this place down the road and the next morning there was over a 1,000 ants on it so be careful of that. But to mention the where to eat DO NOT eat at the hotel unless you are eatting the free breakfast the food sucks and is very over priced for what you get and they charge you 2 euro to just sit at a table which is not uncommon in europe but when the waiter takes his tip out of you change and walks off before you can even say anything well you get the point. There is a pizza place when you pull out on the road around at the pin you take a right go about 3-4 miles and I am telling you the best pizza I have had in Italy... Well good luck.

Il frigo non funzionava, ci è stato detto che non dovrebbe esserci, ma in fase di prenotazione era presente nel sito. Il WiFi non funzionava. C'erano frammenti di intonaco nell'angolo del letto. La luce letto non funzionava. Nel bagno non c'era nessun posto dove poter appendere gli asciugamani.

Un 4 stelle un po' attempato ma ok

Il titolo riassume tutto. Servirebbe uno svecchiamento delle parti comuni e un restyling dell'esterno facciata e zona piscina. Comunque camera con mobili rinnovati, pulita, ampia. Il bagno strettino e da rifare anche se.tutto perfettamente funzionante. Un suggerimento . Per chi porta un cane sarebbe un buon servizio avere ciotola x acqua e cibo già in camera. Colazione con essenziale presente.

Det stank som om de havde tabt en dunk klorin på værelset. Man kunne høre når nabo værelset fik en sms. Og man kunne høre alt både når nabo værelserne og dem overfor bar på toilet/bad.

Bom hotel. Fora da área central de Milão!!

Hotel de boa qualidade. Ficamos apenas 1 noite e fica muito longe da área central de Milão. Gastamos 29 euros do centro de Milão, até o hotel. Tem um shopping center bem na frente do Hotel e várias opções de lojas e supermercado.

Aspettative di un 4 stelle completamente disattesa , sembrava di essere in una pensione degli anni 70. Sono gli anni a cui è rimasta. Da ristrutturare completamente. Entro in camera e trovo un bel groviglio di capelli donna sotto la
Doccia . Gli asciugamani del bidè gli ho dovuti chiedere perché vengono forniti solo per camere business, la mia standard non lo prevedeva , mi dovevo asciugare con lo stesso asciugamano del viso. Avete la consapevolezza che non garantite un immagine decente, almeno guadagnate in servizi base …

Assolutamente mai più, viene pubblicizzato come un 4 stelle ( 3 forse) ma anche no. Televisire con 2 telecomando riciclato il decoder , il bagno anni 80 , vecchio, i sifoni acqua intasati di calcare e mai puliti , in un albergo 4 stelle, ma anche 3 stelle , in camera dovrebbe esserci un bollitore acqua che se vuoi scaldi un the/caffè. Armadio in camera inesistente.......tutto molto scarso !!!
