A very short 1 night stay due to an early flight. Check-in was efficient and friendly. Let us into our room an hour ahead of official check-in time. Shuttle bus turned up on time although EUR15 for a 5 minute transfer to the terminal was too much

I was a bit stressed when the hotel sent me a message through Expedia but their email is blanked out with the app. There was someone at the hotel upon my afternoon arrival who sent me a code through WhatsApp to access the room. We were here the night before an early flight and the airport shuttle was prompt and courteous. We even had dinner and drinks that I would recommend on the hotel patio.

Very Good Hotel for Airport Access
We had an early morning flight out of FLR and Hotel Franchi was perfect for us. Airport shuttle service to FLR started at 04:15, was on-time, and took only 10 minutes to FLR. The hotel was very comfortable, clean, and the staff was extraordinary! Bar and food onsite was very good and the terrace was a nice respite in the busy city to relax before a long day of travel. We had the quadruple room and it efficiently accommodated us and our two adult children fine for the evening. A bit tight, but we are used to traveling together. The large balcony on the room was an added bonus. We will use the Hotel Franchi again flying in or out of FLR.

Hotel is OK. Bare bones and completely lacking in charm, but OK for a hotel that is close to the airport. They have a digital code for the main hotel entrance and the guest room door that needs to be sent via email on the day of check-in, which is fairly unwieldy, especially because Expedia does not allow email addresses to be included in its messaging service. Also, the first code they sent me didn’t work and needed to be reset.

it is literally a 10 minute walk from the airport, is the best way to get there, bartender was very kind, we ask for something to eat and offer two excellent options we get here around 22:45 and still people in the lobby having a drink and chillin the room clean nice and perfect for a night stay they have water machine at the entrance and in general it is a self checkin they send you a psswrd and you get in to the hotel the elev your room etc easy interactions definitely I will come back :)

We chose this hotel because we had an early morning flight and wanted to be close to the airport. Please make sure you read the info for check in and entry into the hotel prior to arrival. It is a little complicated and best done with internet access. The location is ideal for the airport and the lobby area is appealing. The rooms are small and efficient, no extras but a great place to sleep if you want to be close to the airport. We found a great restaurant a block from the hotel that was a surprise. Also, it was nice to be able to have a drink in the lobby of the hotel.

With no front desk and virtual check in only those of us without data turned on are at a disadvantage. You have to pay the city tax via paypal - after which using, my credit card number was stolen (not the hotels fault). Taxi between the airport, though only 1 km, cost 15 Euros. I had a 6am flight and wanted a hotel close to the airport, Franchi was described as having airport shuttle and that was the ONLY reason I booked it. When I asked about the shuttle I was told the hotel does not have it and that I should order a taxi. Now, it is merely 900m from the terminal, but via semi-industrial area that does not have sidewalks, no option to walk at all, let alone with suitcases. Reception assured us the taxi would be 15 euros (a rip-off, considering the distance), but then we were charges 22 euros, for 900m ride! Next time I would stay downtown instead of moving closer to the airport the night before departure, because not only the information about the shuttle was not correct, the surrounding area looks awful. Booking this hotel was a big mistake.

Didn't respond to emails. Didn't send promised email with links to set up smartphone.They apparently speak of \"emails\" but mean \"WhatsApp,\" which we don't have. Showed up and had to wait a long time as they tried to set up my smartphone. All attempts failed. Eventually gave us key card after we stood around for 15 minutes. Process is all to save 5 cents on cost of key card and be \"modern\"? Website includes false information about parking and, oddly, ZTL, which they acknowledged but are unlikely to change. Tired to call to determine if website info true, but it took numerous phone calls before they picked up and acknowledged info was false (about that location). And why no place to put soap in shower? Another attempt to save a couple of euros by not installing soap holder? Cheap discount-store quality furniture. As crow flies, very close to airport (which is why booked), but in reality taxi to airport is 20 euros.

We enjoyed our stay. The owners are onsite, friendly, and are there for any need. We arrived 2 hours before our check in time. He walked us through the keyless entry for the building and room, kept our luggage whike we had a few drinks in the garden area, and gave us a great room which was cozy but very clean and comfortable. We had dinner here as well and it was very good. They also arranged for a cab to the airport at 4:30am (about 5 mins away by car). We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

Hotel Franchi was not a great place to stay at. The staff is ok but the hotel itself is not. The elevator is tiny. Barely big enough for 3 Adults without any luggage. For my family of 4 we had to take the elevator 3 trips up and down just to get our 4 suitcases into our room. Room was small as most rooms are in Europe so no surprise there. But you will hear everyone come up and down the hallway all night long. We didn't sleep well at all there. Plus the area has many outside noises that you will also hear quite often. The room itself is cold. Adjusting the thermostat was futile. Heater would turn itself off after only a couple of minutes. But room would still be cold. You would expect the heater to work once it got cold outside. Lastly, breakfast was very limited even for a full breakfast. No eggs, not even hard boiled eggs available. No Milk either. But to say one thing nice is that their bar is fully stocked. But that didn't help my family. Never choosing this hotel again.

Cute and clean hotel! Great staff and once you get the check in process going, you are good. Rooms were impeccable, good size for a quick visit. The only minus and this is no reflection on the hotel, is getting to the hotel is a bit tricky if walking and taxis will overcharge (IMO) for a 3min drive. I recommend Hotel Franchi, especially if you have an early flight.
