We made use of the wellness centre that was clean and well stocked with towels.
The meal we had in the restaurant was delicious and they were able to cater for my food allergy with ease.
The location is a little out from the centre which is ideal for quietness and if you drive to the hotel. It’s circa £10-15 for a taxi from the train station.
Would we stay again? Absolutely!

Awesome place in a great location. The rooms were spacious and clean and the gym was much better than I was expecting. The on site restaurant was very good and efficient and the underground parking garage was a simple process. If I ever go back to Cambridge, I will definitely stay here again.

While the hotel is nice and the staff is great 4pm check with 11am check out is borderline unacceptable. I understand that maybe this is because of understaffing in à hotel so large and not enough time to prep the rooms. But not being able to check in before 4pm feels like a rip off.

Pretty hotel. Staff was very courteous and helpful and desk and in restaurant where we ate a lot. Dinner was always good. . Good breakfast buffet. There was a perfume scent that was ever present in dining area and lobby that was unpleasant and as we know now very unhealthy. Housekeeping was spotty. Seems like something was missing everyday and things could be cleaner. I would get back late afternoon and room still wasn’t cleaned.

Yes good, the overnight parking at hotel is quite costly but very secure. Check in is late 4pm but staff did phone us to say the room was ready earlier than that which was good. Breakfast okay - my wife could not eat the fried egg as had been standing a while but otherwise all good - coming back at night we were told not to walk across the park. Room was nice.

As soon as we arrived at reception, there was no information provided about the hotel amenities, including opening and closing times for the swimming pool. There was very little customer service overall—just pressure to book breakfast at an additional cost, and to pay extra for parking.

We had a lot of luggage, yet the front desk staff simply handed us a trolley and expected us to load and take our bags to the room ourselves. This is something I would normally expect hotel staff to assist with, especially when paying to stay at the property.

Breakfast was a complete waste of time, with food served cold. Parking was also poorly managed—despite paying for hotel parking, there were no spaces available and we had to park on a side road.

The staff were rude and unpleasant throughout our stay. I would not recommend this hotel. Although the price was cheap, it’s clear why—the customer service was appalling.

Very nice modern hotel. Nicely decorated.
Hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the historic city centre in a quiet residential area.
Has restaurant, bar and a good cafe.
Room was very nice Good size, loads of storage space, very good overhead shower.
Good size fridge.
Leisure facilities include a long but narrow swimming pool with spa jets along one side, steam room and sauna (currently being refurbished so not in use).
Very good breakfast buffet plus you can order hot dishes such as fresh porridge and egg dishes.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Altogether a nice spot to stay.

Lovely hotel 15 to 20 minutes walk from the city centre. Check in was easy but hotel takes £150 which is refundable 5-7 days after you check out. I don’t agree with this as it should be returned on check out. Check in is 4pm but reception can email you if your room is ready earlier. Parking is £24 a day but the car park is underground, appears to be safe and is the going rate for Cambridge. The room was clean. The shower was amazing, towels and dressing gowns are provided as is a hairdryer and iron with ironing board. Room service is very expensive with both a £5 and service charge added on. Breakfast offered a good choice of food, eggs cooked to order. However it would have been good to have some blueberries for porridge. Staff were all very attentive and friendly. There is also a separate coffee bar which is nice. We didn’t use the pool and the sauna was closed. All in all a lovely stay and we will return.

We love our stay at the Fellows house, staff was super helpful & polite and dinner & breakfast were absolutely wonderful. The only thing we would say is that the electric car chargers in their car park were not working - although the Hotel tried contacting providers - it was inconvenient as we were banking on charging over night there.

Friendly staff. Clean room. Good air conditioning in a heat wave! Comfy beds. Well furnished suites.

TVs are quite old and so you can’t watch Netflix etc on them. The apps that were on the TV were so old that they wouldn’t work because they needed updates we couldn’t do.

The toiletries were nice except for the conditioner which was really runny and thin so if you’re particular about that I’d bring your own conditioner.

Breakfast had a good selection but could have been of higher quality. For example, the scrambled egg was clearly microwaved and rather basic and flavourless.

We enjoyed the pool as it was so quiet. It was a shame that the sauna and steam room were unavailable due to maintenance.

We had a family room. The pillows were not comfortable resulting in a restless evening. The mini bar was empty - just 4 small bottles of water in the room, and the car park cost £24 a night even though we were paying £450+ a night for a family room. Breakfast was just ankle average. Furthermore my wife and daughter were told off for taking 2 water bottles in the breakfast area.
When asked if reception could take our 2 small suits to the room as we wanted to go out for the afternoon before the room was ready, the answer was no.
Hotel decor was lovely, Gym was well equipped and clean but the overall hotel experience/service felt like a 3 star not a 4 star.

We had a great stay and will return to this hotel next time we visit Cambridge. This hotel was the quietest I have ever stayed at. We were on the third floor. I highly recommend it. However, the car park fee in the basement, which is around £24 per day, is excessive. Friendly staff and the dinner we had was great too.

Too Hot - Need to change the Air Conditioning

Nice hotel, staff polite and friendly, good evening meal, nice pool, sauna and steam room.
No welcome paperwork in the room so no details available for restaurant times, pool times, wifi code etc...
The room was too hot and there were no openings on the windows. We tried to reduce the temperature with the air con but it would not go any lower than 19. Far too hot to sleep comfortably in. We asked at reception how to turn it down but were told it is centrally controlled and only goes between 19 and 21 degrees. We have never been in a hotel where you can't control your own room temperature!
Our room hadn't been serviced when we returned from our first day out. We weren't too bothered and just asked for more refreshments to be provided in the room.
Lots of dust under the bed and on a top shelf, which I found while looking for a hairdryer (dust fell over the coffee I had just made) Eventually found the hairdryer in the wardrobe, inside a black bag hanging on the ironing board (I had searched every drawer, cupboard and shelf before finding it).

Hotel was very nicely done. Room was spacious and clean with modern fittings. It's walking distance into Cambridge. A few things prevented it from being a 5-star experience unfortunately:

- Purposely 'dumbed down' Smart TV in the room: upon switch-on, the screen displayed 'Samsung Smart TV' but it just had Freeview with the majority of channels missing. I would have preferred a paid movie rental service over this, even if they don't want you to log in to your own streaming services.

- £25 a day to use their parking garage: sorry, this is extortionate. We paid over £300 for two nights and it's just greedy to expect us to pay £75 on top of that for the privilege of parking on site. We used JustPark to park nearby instead.

- Hidden service charge on the cocktails at the bar so the price that is advertised is not what you pay. We stopped in around 9pm at night for post-dinner drinks and it was nice enough, but the noise from the restaurant prevents it from having much ambience.

- This is nitpicky but there was a small language barrier with some of the reception staff - they were very friendly and warm but I didn't always understand what I was being asked. There was also a lack of communication perhaps between shifts - we had a blocked shower drain and asked in the AM if they could send someone to take a look at it. When we returned at 5pm reception couldn't tell me whether someone had been (they had, but felt like they should know?).

Check in was due to be at 4pm (late anyway). The room was not ready until 7:40. This was not communicated by the hotel unless you asked reception. There were people who missed dinner reservations and events and just sat in reception waiting. Then the TV was broken in the room, and it was dusty/dirty. The pool was ok but tiny for the number of guests. We were offered free breakfast as an apology but they told there would not be enough food left at 10:10am when breakfast didn’t shut until 10:30. Parking is also £24 for 24 hours! Overall absolutely not worth the money.

The hotel tried to charge us £30 for high speed interner service because apparently i chose this when i connected to the wifi! I live uk and have o2 so wouldn't need this. I argued this and they took it off the bill. Its called a dark pattern. Beware of scams like this. Bed was too hard. Bed cover was too thin. Bedroom was too bright as the stair light couldn't be switched off. Got a room upgrade but comfort wasnt good. Please do better hilton.
