The hotel is very nice. It reminds me of an Hacienda. The bed was slightly uncomfortable as it was hard but all the hotels I stayed in were also like that so maybe it’s just their thing I don’t know. The breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful. Very pretty place. I would stay there again.

It was the first time staying. Great experience! Breakfast is included and have many options to choose from. One thing that I would recommend though, is that hotel staff should let us know when checking in that when you do the check-out the staff checks the room to make sure is OK (no damage or stains) since it takes e a couple of minutes you need to wait until they give you the green light to leave.

We stayed here 5 days ago and came back so my husband could hike a volcano. We booked the same hotel. All the 5 star reviews are correct. The people are so kind, breakfast is great. The location is perfect. A couple blocks and you’re on the main street. It’s very clean, has a/c and all kinds of cute, quiet seating areas on site. They use incense, fun lighting on the outside patio and have fountains running. It’s lovely.

Also, the included breakfast was delicious. The only problem was the internet- it was very slow and sometimes we couldn’t connect at all. Excellent!!! Very clean hotel. Awesome helpful staff. They supplied us with a map of the city, activities nearby etc. I booked my tours locally while walking around, but they offered to book tours and ground transportation too. They helped me exchange our USD. My Spanish is so/so, they speak excellent english. The location is close to restaurants, stores the arch and center city. We liked it so much we extended our stay. I would definitely stay here again.

An Amazing Hotel in Antigua
This is a wonderful hotel with amazing staff. The courtyard is a lovely setting for breakfast or for relaxation, the rooms are comfortable, quiet, and spacious. The WiFi works very well throughout the hotel. They have a large selection for breakfast (which is delicious!) but above all the staff are amazing. They are incredibly helpful and pleasant. I don't think that I have encountered better staff through all my travels. I even booked an additional night because it was so enjoyable at Posada de La Luna.

This little hotel is just off one of the main streets in the town. The staff was amazing, breakfast was good and the room, while small, was perfect for our family of 4 for 3 nights. WE also used their shuttle service. while a bit expensive, $80 round trip for 4 people, it certainly made transportation to and from the airport effortless.

Breakfast was superb, my mother-in-law enjoyed it and that is a really great coming from her. My only comment is that no one answered the telephone number listed on their website. Reasonable place to stay on the edge of Antigua. The room was very small and I had problems with lack of hot water, which they fixed. The staff were not the most helpful, when i arrived I was told to come back at 3pm to check in, why i couldn't do it at midday, was never explained , just check in at 3pm.

Lovely new boutique hotel, compact contemporary design. Rooms are tiny but there are comfortable common spaces the Breakfast is outstanding - best free breakfast I've had anywhere. Free parking nearby. Several blocks from the central park so it's a bit of a hike, but made up for by the quiet. Close to the Artisan market and the chicken bus depot. The buses do rumble by from about 4 am to evening, but if the windows are closed the sound is not a problem.

Hotel is excellent! Room was spacious and updated, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff (assume owner?) exceeded expectations. Check in was quick despite our late arrival, and he offered to call our tour company to confirm our appointment for the next day. Because we needed to check out early, he offered to prepare us packed lunches, which were waiting for us at check out. Location is about 2 blocks off the main drag, which made it quieter than other hotels in central Antigua; however, the hotel is still very walkable to all the shops, restaurants, ruins, etc. Highly recommend!

We had a magnificent stay at Hotel Posada de La Luna in Antigua, Guatemala. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. The hotel was impecable and surprisingly quiet, which was amazing. Our room was a single double bed room with valley views, which were majesic. The bed was comfortable, and there was also a daybed next to the window which was awesome. The room was quite small, but offered all the amenities such as a/c, tv with cable, wifi, and bathroom. The bathroom was a good size for the room, the only thing was that the water pressure in the shower was very low and the temperature of hot water varied throughout the day, luckily it was not cold. We had breakfast included everyday as well as coffee and water bottles, and the food was delicious. Mindy (front desk) and Mauricio (driver) were very friendly and helped us in whatever way they could, from giving recommendations to driving us around when we could not locate a cab. It was an amazing experience and would definitely recommend and also would return to stay again. Very reasonably priced and good location, 2 blocks from the artesanal market which is a must see/visit! Also walking distance from lots of coffee shops and the central square of town.

Me and my wife spent three nights here. As we arrived late at night after a very long and unpleasant journey, with the bags lost on one of the connection flights, and from the first moment, the host gave us a warm and caring filling. It started with a rose bouquet for our honeymoon, and a reassurance that he will take care of everything. And so he did! The bags where at our room the next days! We cannot stress out more, how generous and attentive Mauricio was to our needs.
The hotel is very elegant, and gives you a filling of an upscaled place, the perfect place for honeymooners, or just for others how look for a quiet and clean place, close by to the city interests. Breakfast is included(and it's good), and you can book any attraction or bus drive you need, from the desk front.

This is the place to stay in Antigua
Where do I start? I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this quiet, new posada.
1. Away from the main streets so a full night sleep with no cars, people yelling. Something that escaped me in every other place I stayed.
Still an easy walk to the main sights and very close to the mercado.
2. All staff speak perfect English and are very helpful. Without prompting, the lovely senorita on the desk whipped out a map and circled banks, supermarkets nearby and sights to see.
Speak to Carlos, the owner. He knows everything that your guide book doesn't. Also ask to see Nero, his cute as a button rescue dog.
3. Fabulous hot water
4.Yummy, filling, fresh made to order breakfast. Eggs, cereal, toast, juices and much more.
5.Good security and open 24hrs . Just ring the door bell. Tourist police compound across the road.
6.Great WiFi
7.Most of the local tours can be arranged through the Posada at a better price.
8. Well laid out room and clean, clean, clean.
9. Bottled water to your heart's content. Coffee and tea available during the day.
10. Coming back to a gentle smell of incense burning in the courtyard.
Arranged for transfer to GC airport and Carlos took me in his private car. Despite leaving 2.5 hrs early, made it just before check in closure. 3 traffic accidents with gridlock. Shuttle would have missed the flight. Carlos took back streets, ducking and weaving and we made it -absolutely exhausted with no doubt unrecordable blood pressures. Now that is being looked after.

All reviews I read before booking were true, the hotel is very nice and cozy, the staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. I highly recommend this place, the location is very good as well, very close to the main atractions.

Great price/value combo!
This hotel began in 2015, but it seems like the owners already knew what they were doing. All the facilities were spotlessly clean, the staff was welcoming and fun to talk to, the wifi was fast, with a good signal throughout our room (a rarity in Antigua with all the thick masonry walls). The breakfast was delicious with many options, there was a great deal of custom artwork on the walls, custom wood furniture throughout, and enough electrical outlets where we wanted them (also a rarity). Even with only 7 guest rooms, there was someone available to open the gate for us when we arrived between midnight and 1am, on two different nights. We loved the location, one block off a major avenue, where it was very quiet at night yet still only a short distance from the public market and the central square.
I really don't think there's any way to improve upon this place. It is perfect, and I hope the owners continue to operate it just the way it is for years to come!
