The room is clean and very spacious for Japanese hotel. We are on a family trip and had good rest in the hotel. However, this hotel relies heavily on LINE/face call when you wish to connect with the front desk. This might be an inconvenient for some guests. The luggage store area is very very small and when it’s full you just leave it in the lobby. I understand the hotel is not responsible for our personal belongs, but can at least provide a rope and lock to tide the luggages together when leaving it in lobby, better than just leaving there. The hotel staff is pretty arrogant about it when I mentioned that I will leave a comment about that. Otherwise, this hotel is not bad. Location is good.

The breakfast felt more like lunch, pizza pockets and ham and cheese sandwiches. If I would have known the selection I would have not paid for the breakfast, we ended up at family mart or 7/11 each morning. The room was clean at the beginning and was supposed to be cleaned on our 4th day but it never was which was very disappointing. The hotel itself was great, room was spacious and all laid out, beds were comfortable, amenities were good - luggage storage, vending machine, laundry, dishes in the room, bath products. Ubers were only a minute or 2 away which made it very easy to get around. Also super close to a ton of great restaurants and the train station. 30 min from Disney. Over all would definitely recommend for a family and would stay again.

The room is really big for a family of 5 it worked well with two doubles and two bunks.

As Main downside was pillows on beds were very hard not most comfortable, and hotel doesn’t have luggage forwarding assistance. Small things that held back a really good hotel

We had the bigger room and it was perfect for my family. The room was cleaned air-conditioning works great. The staff was helpful but at times you need to wait for them because they are always working on keeping the building clean and well stocked. There is 2 subway stations near by that will take you anywhere. A few streets over there is a busy street with plenty of shopping and food to try. Everything you need is in walking distance and there was 2 elevators which was helpful. With that said this place was a great choice and the neighborhood is very quiet.

Poor check-in experience. If you like speaking to an iPad with a foreign person (non Japanese,non English) instead of a human than this is for you. An online form etc and all that crap to check in. Was confusing. Luggage drop off was “at own risk” and door was left open regularly but other careless tourists. Location was great, room was good. Everything else sucked

The room is nice and big enough for our 8 luggages. It's clean. I like that they have a storage luggage room and laundry area. The breakfast tastes good. You have to book it day before then you can pick it up in the morning. Close to stations and the area/market where there's a lot of food choices. One thing for improvement about the breakfast instruction at least to show food choices or name of the food upon booking the breakfast so people with restriction would know. Online chat support was responsive. Everything is online even the reception but the checkin/out instruction was clear so it's ok.

The room we stayed at is a family room which is very spacious and very clean. The hotel is about 10-15 mins. walk from Okachimachi Station and within minutes from 7-11, restaurants, Uniqlo and other shops. The hotel itself does not have in-house dining options but guests are welcome to re-heat their take-out food or cook light meals as they have a cooktop range & microwave in the room. They even provide plates, silverware and glasses in the kitchen area. I hope they would have rental lockers at the Lobby so hotel guests can leave their belongings securely if they check out early and still want to dine or shop around the area. I would recommend this hotel to families with kids for convenient location.

Our family of four stayed in the Superior Family Room for 5 nights. The room could sleep 8, but we only used the 2 double beds and one bunk bed. The online check in and QR code in the lobby worked fine for us. The room was clean and the layout was roomy. We had plenty of room for bags and still had seating. Plenty of wall outlets and the separate shower vs. toilet is helpful for a family. The kitchenette was perfect, it had a fridge, freezer and microwave for late night Lawson runs. The neighborhood was very quiet and it was just a quick walk over to Ueno Park or Ameyoko Street for dinner and nightlife, also convenient to get to train stations. We used the laundry facilities and they were efficient and not busy. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. It was perfect for our family and we would not hesitate to book again. Ueno was a fun neighborhood and Minn Ueno was a welcome oasis after many fun and busy days in Tokyo.

There is no front desk. Check in take 30min via video and end with the door code not working. End with using key at the end. Also the luggage storage fill up 930am in the morning. So you can’t really store your luggage safe. People just left there luggage in the lobby which I don’t think is safe

Great hotel, we had the room with 2 bedrooms so the kids could go to bed early and we could stay up. Huge hotel room for Tokyo standards and when traveling with kids 6 & 7 this is a must!
Hotel is the best location within an easy walk from Ueno station - even with suitcases. Super easy to get there from Narita airport- we arrived late at night. 7/11 just down the road.
We loved how you could leave your bags before and after check in and that there was a laundry room downstairs for 300Y per load.
Vending machine in the lobby is great.
WiFi is terrible.
All and all we will stay here again- great value for money.
Heated hair style brush (Shark) didn’t work with the different power but straighteners did.

First time in Tokyo. I was skeptical about the place. But it ended up being perfect for my family trip. The check in process is a bit challenging. But overall. Clean facility, new refreshing decor. Room was spacious. If you like to do your own thing and not be bothered. Then this is the location. I don't care for a person in the lobby 24/7.

We loved the location, as opposed to being smack bang in the middle of constant Shibuya/Shinjuku. Short walk from various stations, can get to anywhere within 20 mins, even with luggage super easy. 2 adults and 3 kids, spacious apartment and clean. Yes check in remote, but super easy, they send you a pin beforehand. Easily store luggage and laundry works great. Just dont try to dry too much at once. Short walk from some great eateries (the ramen place upstairs on the corner), sights of interest and many convenience stores.

This was a perfect base for our family's stay in Tokyo. The hotel is located in a super quiet area but only a short 5min walk from all of the restaurants and shops of Ueno. Transport links are fantastic - several metro stations are only a short walk from the hotel and getting back to Narita airport at the end of our stay was so easy - we had a 5min walk to the Ueno Keisei station (with no stairs to negotiate!) where we took the skyliner direct to the airport.
Our room was very well kept, clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable too. I would definitely stay here again.

Australian family of 4 (11,9). Super spacious (for Japan) excellent amenities, absolutely spotless, shower was better than mine at home, close to many stations entrances, super close to the main market strip with excellent nightlife, restaurants. Everything! Super kid friendly. I’m super picky and did heaps of research which was really overwhelming
This place was fantastic! We also did a load of washing which was super helpful.

Great location (safe, quiet, and a few mins walk from the train station, restaurants, family mart (small supermarket), and the market). Nice, spacious, and clean room with comfy beds (great shampoo/shower gel btw). Beautiful lounge. It has a kitchen but we did not use. Highly recommended.

The staff at the hotel, the ladies (I think cleaning staff) were very nice and helpful. This was really why I gave a good review because the check in and out are handled by remote reception staff not on the premises and you have to contact them via video conference. And these ladies were trying to help people with everything on site.

Initial anxiety that there was no receptionist but instead a virtual reception concept was unfounded. Check-in was a breeze however do note that 3pm Check-in time is quite strict.
There is a open area to leave your luggage as well as a locked room but seems there is a need to pre-arrange access to this room. I did not go through the process to get access to this.

Location is perfect with easy access to 4 metro stations. Vicinity to Ameyoko also provides tons of options for drugstore and street shopping and food options.

Rooms are clean, water has strong water pressure and hot, amenities are sufficient for our stay.

This property was a great find for my family! It was in a quiet street, but with a close walk to the Ameyoko Street where we can find lots of food and shopping options. It's also a close walk to the train stations. Our room was very comfortable for four adults, and for a small space that it was, everything was well appointed.

This is a very nice apartment style hotel, we were 5 people in a 6 people room, it was cozy, but we still had space to have 8 suitcases and carry-ons around the room (not all open at same time.

Elevators move pretty quick, checkin was easy (we did English), washing machines available on site, access to transportation was easy piezy.

A lot of our go to restaurants were nearby. Ueno park was within walking distance. Shopping was easy, supermarket and Daiso are 2 blocks away.

No Parking, but...there are a bunch of lots around, I even got to arrive to one late at night, and left before 8am and it cost me ¥990, so ¥110 an hour for 9 hours.

Some tricks for this hotel - No package or luggage delivery, Yamato is 3 blocks away, you can get it delivered there open 8am-8pm, and for packages i.e. from Amazon if it if sold by Amazon you can pick it up at the Lawson around the corner.

Pleasant and comfortable stay

Our family of 5 spent 2 nights at this place. We booked the family unit which can fit 8 because we wanted more space and that everyone gets a bed. It's about 10min walk from Ueno station which is not too bad considering of our big luggages. Property is very new and clean. We arrived at 3pm and there was a staff at the counter who was very friendly and helpful with our check-in.

Very near to the Keisei Ueno station, plenty of late night food options around the property. The room itself is spacious and clean, equipped with a kitchen and dining area. The self-check in and check out process is fast and smooth. The only issue is that the luggage storage area is way too small and everyday between 10am (after people have checked out) and before 3pm (before people can check in), the entire luggage storage area is completely overwhelmed and it might be difficult to store and find your suitcase.

Love the location- how close it was to Ameyoko and Ueno station. There’s also a 7 eleven nearby for our water and snacks. Laundry was easy and not too crowded. Check out was online and a breeze. A few
things we didn’t like: lack of receptionist manning the front (can’t help with forwarding luggage) and that our trash wasn’t cleared. All in all was a great stay and good value.

Stayed there for 6 days with my family. It is in a great location that is safe and quiet. It is about 4 minutes walking distance from Okachimachi Station. The museum district is about 5 minutes away via train...Okachimachi to Ueno Station. There were also lots of dining options close by.
