If you are traveling with a daughter/son/business partner or a friend, do not book this hotel.
The room is designed in the most uncomfortable and illogical way.
There is no standard bathroom. There is a toilet with a door, and a shower with a semi-transparent glass door that opens into the room, so there is no way to get dressed in privacy.
When I went down to the reception and asked to change rooms, I was told that all the rooms in the hotel are built the same way.
The receptionist noted that this is stated on the hotel’s website, but who on earth checks the hotel’s own website these days when all reservations are made through major booking platforms?
It makes no sense at all and is very inconvenient, especially when it’s a room with two separate beds, as I had booked in advance.
When I walked through the corridor, I saw that most of the rooms were twin rooms.
This situation made the stay very uncomfortable and unpleasant.

I stayed at Plaza Inn Wien Gasometer for 5 nights. The Hotel is in Gasometer City and is very well connected to Vienna's public transport network. The Gasometer metro Station is less than a 5 minutes’ walk away.

The lady at reception was very friendly and gave me good advice about the local area. Everyone I spoke to at reception was very friendly and professional.

The Room I stayed in (413) was a good size, clean and modern. It came equipped with a flat-screen TV and a kettle with tea and coffee supplies. These were not replaced when the rooms were cleaned so I kept having to go downstairs and ask for more supplies. The bathroom was also clean and equipped with shower/shampoo supplies. It would have been nice if the room had a mini fridge. The air conditioning was ok, but it took a long while to cool the room down. Also, on one occasion, despite leaving the “please make up room” sign on the door, housekeeping didn’t come.

Overall, I had a very pleasant stay there, the location, value, cleanliness was all satisfactory. I would definitely consider staying here again.

We checked in late in night, check in was smooth and staff was nice, however after that everything went down south. Got to room found that Aircon not working, bed making squeaky sound when you sleep, safe not working, no fan or aircon, window not opening in family room

When reported issues to reception in morning they advised to get it fixed.

Breakfast had lots of flies in the bread basket .

Second night reached to room again later and was told issues are fixed, except safe none was addressed.

Went to reception at 2:30 am as it was unbearable, was told that nothing can be done and I need to wait till next morning.i told reception person give us different room, straight answer was NO.

I said I will record conditions and put feedback to Expedia, which I did. Later put feedback on hotel website at 3:15 am or so, after reception person came and said I can give two rooms as temporary arrangement, which was fine but our 2 nights sleep went for toss and with so much drama I feel hotel do not care for guests So please avoid staying here even if offered free

The property was very nice and well maintained. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. There was a hot water pot, instant coffee, sugar, and cream in the room, which was very much appreciated. There wasn't a lot in the area for shopping or sight seeing, but it was close to the subway which made it convenient. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

5 stars for desk staff: they were consistently helpful
1 star for housekeeping: we know they \"did\" the room because the duvets were folded (and the end of the TP). However in 5 days they never restocked the instant coffee, etc (despite our asking at the front desk), rubbish wasn't emptied at times, 2 towels were taken and not replaced, and the floor because gritty as the week progressed (& we remove our shoes). Did not seem like great service for a hotel charging 17€ pp for breakfast
The room was spacious & clean at the beginning of the week The \"double bed\" was 2 twins next to each other.

I expected more from this hotel. My room had a bad ant problem, not sure if it was throughout the whole property or not but they were all over the place in my room. The positives are that the area is absolutely stunning and the room had 2 king beds. The cons were the obvious ant problem, the spa was meh, our room was in a detached building from the main hotel. Will stay at a different location next time I am in Zell Am See

Front desk isn't the friendliest but everything else was great! Hotel is only 10 mins metro train ride into city center. There's also a small \"mall\" near to the hotel where you can get essentials (food, shampoo etc) for very affordable price.

What I loved about the hotel was that it was a 5 minute walk from the train which is what I used the entire time to get around. That was super convenient and easy. 5 stars for that, but that's about it. I ended up trying to extend my stay because I loved Vienna so much and to add 2 more nights, they wanted to charge me way more than I had already paid for 8 nights. When I said no, they offered to lower the price but at that point I was turned off by how predatory it seemed. When I paid for breakfast one day, the staff did not seem interested in helping me with anything, so the rest of the days I ventured out and went to cafes. I will say, the first night when I checked in, the front desk person was super nice and friendly so I was looking forward to my stay but it soured quickly. If you don't mind dismissive staff it's a great affordable option with good transportation, but don't expect to be wowed by great customer service. And maybe it was my ignorance, but not once was my coffee station refilled, so I had complimentary coffee one morning. That was it.

Possibly the best value hotel I've ever stayed in, it was the equivalent quality of hotels triple the price. Very clean and spacious room, friendly staff (who also speak perfect English), very generous checkout times and great breakfast. Location very easy to access as it's just 5 stops from the central station on the U3 metro. Perfect, and would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful staff very helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast every day. The best thing is definitely the location. It is five minutes to the metro to be in downtown Vienna. There is not much around for restaurants or shopping in the immediate area, but it is not an issue when the metro is so close

App to check in a pain, but apparently optional.

Clean, efficient hotel. You had the option of checking in online, which I did. Frankly, I would rather not trouble myself with apps on the phone when traveling though. There was a counter attendant until late at night, so using the app to remote check in was not necessary.

After being delayed for several hours, our airline canceled our flight to Vienna. By then, there were no flights to Vienna for the rest of the evening. We called the hotel to tell them we could not get to the city and they asked us to send an email. In the email, we explained our situation and asked them if we could exchange our reservation for another stay in a couple weeks. They said “no” and were not helpful at all. VERY disappointed in their lack of customer relations.

Very nice location, the room was very clean and modern. Walk distance to many restaurants, the only down side was the parking lot. The hotel does not have any however there is a parking structure next door which costs 7.50 euros - overnight.

The breakfast was amazing and the parking was reasonable and convenient (just across the street). Our 2 nights here with our teen boys were enjoyable.
