This hotel has a bit of character and charm. While the carpet looked dated, the room overall was clean with a very comfortable bed and a good bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The breakfast was excellent, and we really enjoyed the beer and delicious pizza at the hotel’s restaurant, a definite highlight! There’s also a nice pool, though unfortunately we didn’t have time to use it.

The room included a fridge, which was convenient, but the TV didn’t work during our stay. One thing to note is the garage. It’s extremely tight. We were lucky no one parked beside us when it was time to load the car and leave.

Another plus is that it’s located close to the subway, making it easy to get around.
Overall, a good experience with a few minor drawbacks, and we appreciated the warm hospitality.

Kein Kühlschrank bei 30 Grad

Kühlschrank war kaputt und wurde nicht repariert oder ausgetauscht, nicht einmal eine Nachricht oder eine Entschuldigung kam seitens Hotel. Stattdessen hat man darauf gewartet bis ich wieder zur Rezeption gehe.
Des Weiteren habe ich ein Doppelzimmer gebucht und musste aber in ein Einzelzimmer.
Einrichtung ist sehr alt - Matratze durchgelegen, Dichtung in der Dusche teilweise nicht mehr vorhanden, Föhn funktioniert nicht richtig bzw. ist so alt dass er zu wenig Leistung bringt.

Für das Frühstück sind meines Erachtens sogar 15€ zu viel.
Das Restaurant selbst ist aber gut und die Kellner freundlich.

Quite nice building and very helpful staff. Fantastic location for the price, A few minute walk from Vienna Bus station, super close to an 18 tram stop with a Tabak shop where you can buy tickets, two stops from Billa and a few stops from Belvedere.

Oasis in Vienna

Booked two nights but ended up staying for three nights. Large, clean rooms. Very helpful and friendly staff in both reception and restaurant. Nice inner yard with a pool. Felt like a little oasis in Vienna. My son has a disability and acts and sounds different than others. But we felt very welcome and the staff made no fuzz about it and showed understanding of his special needs.

My main issues was being told when I checked in that breakfast was included. It was a mediocre breakfast but filled our empty bellies, then on check out we were charged £15 per person per head. Not worth that in my opinion and even worse that this is as not what I was told.
Clean enough but pretty out of the way and a long walk from the public transport.

I picked the property as it was close to local transport and the international bus station.

Staff were lovely and accommodating. It's a sports hotel where the gym has a good selection for weights and is open 24/7.

As others have said - the rooms are rather dated (shower looks modern though) but generally clean and spacious.

Big room, spotlessly clean, big comfortable bed, great shower, cleaning daily. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city but great transport links metro, bus and tram close by - 3 min walk. Staff are friendly, polite and helpful. Breakfast is great with selection of breads, eggs, meat and cereals. Very happy with my stay.

We loved that there was plenty to do to tire out our child after a long drive. We enjoyed having the option to play tennis or swim in the pool, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The metro was a short walk from the hotel. We would definitely look at staying here again if we come back to Vienna.

So kind and convenient

It is located in convenient place (5-10 min walk from U3 Erdberg station, and bus station for Flixbus etc.) The reception is so kind as to accept four big suitcases to be put in their office for a while when I came earlier. I would like to choose again when I come back to Wien!

Fantastic quality/price ratio!

I found this 4 stars hotel bearing an excellent quality/price ratio. Situated few mins far from a U3 line station, from here you can easily reach all districts in Wien.
Personnel both at reception and at bar/restaurant are extremely welcoming and helpful. Rooms are not the latest designer's creation but are clean, well equipped, big and very comfortable. On site restaurant might reveal very convenient and always busy bc of hosts also from the indoor tennis courts that decide to eat here after training. Car park on site. I would definitely visit again and recommend.

Hotel was better than I expected, the room was great. The restaurant and bar are good as well. Plenty of activities in the hotel. Strangely the gym isn’t that big considering it is a sports hotel, 1 treadmill and 2 rough stationary bikes they do work though, and plenty of weights etc

Tried to sleep with window open but noise from traffic & drunk people plus streetlights shining in the room prevented that.

Quiet and a good base for sightseeing

The Sporthotel sits in a very quiet district south east of the city centre and is well served for transport links, with a U3 U-Bahn station five minutes walk away and an S-Bahn station (Wien Marx) about thirteen minutes walk away offering a twenty minute ride to the airport every half hour.

Check-in was very efficient and the room a decent size but a bit hot. Breakfast is not included, but is available if you pay extra (and I thought it was a bit overpriced at €9,90). There is a perfectly presentable onsite restaurant (pizzas and Austrian specialities) but I didn't find much in the near vicinity.The minibar was not horribly pricey and there was a good selection of snacks and drinks available.

A major selling point looks to be sporting facilities, with access to tenis courts, a pool and a sauna,

Nice hotel, perfect for sports in Vienna.

Great location, only a few minutes walk to the Prater. Lots of nice places to eat and drink nearby along with several supermarkets. Walked into the centre several times, a leisurely 20 min walk past lots of shops and restaurants. All the hotel staff were so friendly, they couldn't do enough and I would defiantly stay next time I'm in Vienna. Great value for money.

The hotel was easy enough to get to - 5 minutes from public transport or €15 late at night by taxi from the other side of the centre of town. The room was large; we didn't watch TV or play tennis but I did have a couple of swims in the cold outdoor pool. Many hotels were sold out for Eurovision night, including this one.

Nice hotel in the outskirts of Vienna. Just a couple of blocks from a train station. The 3 day pass was just 16E per person vs paying $100+ per night to stay in central Vienna. Had outdoor pool, tennis courts and spa. Didn't see many places to eat in the area.

First, I have to commend the excellent staff; as a non-German speaker, they were - without exception - friendly, patient, and understanding. I found the hotel and my room exceptionally clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower had plenty of pressure. The few drawbacks are probably based on my experience with American hotel chains that seem to invest more in the little things; for example, I had a nice-sized, comfortable bed (a queen), but there was only one sheet to cover the bed and a duvet sized for a twin. I don't understand why they don't put a duvet on the bed to match the bed size. Every time I rolled over my body came out of the tiny duvet. Additionally, the bed only had one pillow, which I found oddly cheap. Having seen the bed in the Schonbrunn Palace, I know beds in Austria can have multiple linen, multiple pillows, and an oversized duvet. The only other minor thing about the hotel is it's location; it is located in an neighborhood that appears to be mixed commercial and lower-rent housing. Nevertheless, the hotel is an easy and safe walk to the U-Bahn.

The title says it all, it has a YMCA feel about the place, with most guests there for the tennis, swimming and other sport facilities. There is a good size outdoor swimming pool, where you can actually swim lengths and relax by the pool. There is an ok spa with a modest sauna and small steam room, but nothing too special. Breakfast is good with plenty to chose from. The rooms are ok but maybe a little dated, the staff are very goods in all areas of the hotel. Its abit out of town but easy to get to on public transport. i would stay here again

Das Zimmer im allgemeinen war sehr sauber und wurde täglich geputzt. Badezimmer ebenso.

Die Klimaanlage hat nicht funktioniert. Es war in der Nacht sehr heiß.

Als wir eingecheckt haben, wurde uns gesagt wir müssen 17€ / Tag für die Garage zahlen. Als ich daraufhin gesagt habe das online stand dass es gratis ist, wollte der Herr uns nicht sagen dass es vorm Hotel direkt gratis Parkplätze gibt. Das mussten wir selbst rausfinden.
Auch dass es in der Nähe sogar günstigere Varianten geben würde (9.90€/Tag).
Also 17€ ist wirklich frech.

Sportaktivitäten können wir nicht beurteilen. Da haben wir nichts ausprobiert.
Sauna wäre jedoch gratis gewesen.

Frühstück hatten wir ebenfalls nicht genommen.

Vel beliggende hotel med pool

Vienna Sportshotel ligger 5 minutter fra U-bahn og et kvarters gang fra Prater skoven. Hotellet har en god morgenmad, værelser er pæne og rene, det samme er poolen og haven med solsenge. Man får både badekåbe og håndklæder uden ekstra betaling. Der er tennisbane og golfsimulator samt et fitnesscenter på hotellet.
