The room was so peaceful and cool, especially as it was mid to late 30s outside. They don't have air conditioning but a different system which keeps the rooms cool and they just ask you to keep the blinds and curtains drawn to keep it cool. We had a busy weekend travelling to the Grand Prix, but the hotel was the perfect base to return to each evening to just chill and relax. Would definitely return here

We loved staying at Rioca! The staff was wonderful. Every single staff person answered our many questions and gave us tips on where to go, how to get there, and what to see and where to eat. All written down for us. Staff always checked in with us when we returned from our daily adventures. Invaluable information, thank you!!! A lovely bar/restaurant right next door. The location was perfect. Quiet neighborhood close to public transportation. Our room 5 stars.
Highly recommend and will stay again when we come back to Vienna.

It was a great stay, staff were friendly, breakfast was great, and room/hotel was really nice. It is a bit far from the center of the city if you plan to walk everywhere, however, tram and subway are about 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel. I wish they would have coffee available in the lobby all day, that would be great.

The location is really great because although it’s not in the center of all the “main” tourist sites, it does have nice local restaurants and shops near. It was also easy to access the public transportation. It was clean and staff was beyond helpful and nice! The price is super affordable and would definitely go back!

We had room 619 with kitchenette and small balcony, standing room only on the tiny balcony.
Plenty of storage space and very nice room.
Free tea/coffee in reception 7-11am
We did not take breakfast at 19 euro each as delicatessen next door which was delicious.
5 mins walk to tram 71 into the city (6 stops);and only 1.5 Euro each for an 80 minute ticket (if aged 65)
Highly recommend a stay here.

The hotel is Brazilian in theme and ownership/management which was cool and a bit out of the old town. Once I got the lay of the land it was very easy and convenient to get everywhere in Vienna
The staff were exceptionally friendly and super helpful. Also they provide great coffee like espresso all day long and have a wonderful bar next door
They helped me check in early and then held my bag for free after I checked out so I could continue exploring the city before my train departed.

The hotel was wonderful—our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and all of the amenities provided were great. It was especially handy to have washers and dryers in the basement for guests’ use, although you do have to download an app to use them and pre-load your account with 20€ (you can claim a refund of any unused portion of your balance). The hotel staff were extremely warm, kind, and very helpful. The hotel is conveniently located close to several public transportation options to the city center, and the Vienna Pass made traveling on public transit a breeze. The only things that were lacking that otherwise would have made this a five-star stay: the hotel does not have good climate control. It was uncomfortably warm during our stay, which led to poor sleep most nights. The staff kindly lent us a fan, but to run it at night, we had to keep our key card in the power slot that controls the room’s electricity, and there was a very bright neon light illuminating the headboard of the bed that could not be turned off. We tried to cover the light with our bath towels, but that was a very inconvenient design flaw of the room. Otherwise, we had a great stay!

The hotel looked very impressive as I got there. The rooms were clean. I wish there was more trash baskets since there is only one in bathroom. I expected more from the room, but overall it had all the amenities and friendly staff. The location was good close to all the connections.

This was my 4th stay at Rioca Posto 2 and it continues to be my number one choice whenever I’m in Vienna. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the location is excellent with easy access to transport links around the city.

The rooms are a great size and very well equipped with a small kitchenette, fridge, dishwasher, and microwave, which makes longer stays especially convenient. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was excellent, and even the soap smelled amazing.

I also really enjoy the unique Brazilian theme throughout the hotel — it gives the place a fun and vibrant atmosphere that stands out from typical hotels. Overall, another great stay and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Vienna.

Overall I’m happy enough with my stay but I’m going to leave an honest review.
So, linens and bathroom were clean which is obviously very important. The bed was very comfortable which is also a huge plus.
The hotel felt much more like a hostel than I expected based on the photos and description. The lighting in the room was difficult - there was overhead lighting but no lamp that could be moved and really no gentle lighting at all except for the LED strip behind the bed. So either harsh light or very dim light. We also found it quite difficult to manage our possessions without taking up spaces meant for food prep and dining. We had to keep windows closed due to excessive cigarette smoke coming in, so it was very hot.
The staff were friendly, and the location was convenient for transit and groceries.
So as I said, overall good but expecting some of the compromises might have made them feel less jarring for us.

Its a very modern, well-kept hotel with a Brazillian theme. Staff was very friendly, hotel is in an extremely convenient location close to major bus and train lines. The free coffee and social atmosphere in the lobby is nice.

One big downside for me was the lack of controllable air conditioning in the room. I like a cool room for sleeping, preferably with a fan running too, and the room didn't have access to either, with only a note saying that room tempurature is out of their hands. Each evening, my room was quite hot after I got back from walking around town all day. Also, there was no trash can in the room aside from a extremely tiny one in the bathroom.

Definitely an interesting concept. There are things I liked and things I didn't. The room is big and modern. I loved all the power outlets and the phone charging speaker stool, very neat, I found it a bit hard to sleep as I like it to be cool at night and no AC was a bit of a problem. I also think the breakfast charge is outrageous for what they offer. But it's a perfectly nice hotel otherwise.

This was a great place to stay in Vienna! It was a good location that felt safe--just in the middle of the drive from the airport to the city center. The staff were all nice and very helpful, Marco was exceptional at check-in! The room was clean and a spacious mini apartment-style room. Close to grocery stores, pharmacies, and restaurants. The only caveat was that you couldn't control the air temperature, and there was no fan for circulation. As an American that can feel somewhat rough. Luckily, we went end of April so the temps were still cool. They have blackout roll-down shades so we kept the doors open while still having privacy. The only frustrating aspect was when we had our room maintenance, the housekeeper left the blinds open. We had been keeping them closed so it just made the room hot again when we came back. But overall we really enjoyed it!!

The location is perfect for a couple like us who are trying to get away from the busy tourism zone. The hotel is convenient located by St. Marx where you have many public transit options to get to every direction of the city. It is also a nice 50-minute walk to the centre of the tourism zone to see Hofberg etc. I enjoyed how quiet the room was as I am light sleeper. The various coffee options in the lobby were a bonus. I didn’t find coffee in the room but it was okay. The fitness room was spacious and clean but no water cooler. Apparently Vienna has one of the best tap water in the world, even better than many bottled water options. So we drank the tap water and it tasted good. We would stay again at this hotel if we visit Vienna in the future

You need to queue long for any request at reception (such as a room card not working) as there are only 2 counters and the check in process is inefficient. Set up a separate desk for the ipad check in or allow online self check in to speed this up!
Room and location are really nice. Very well connected to shops and public transport and it feels like a safe and clean area. No need to pay for expensive breakfast as a bakery is next door.

Chose this hotel as it is in walking distance of Arena Wien. Was not disappointed. Quiet location, clean room and the bed/pillows were very comfortable. Had a kitchenette in the room but did not use as only stayed 1 night. Breakfast didn't have a wide variety of options but tasted nice. Not particularly close to the city center but we knew that when booking. The walk took us about 45-50 minutes. Would definitely stay again if visiting Arena Wien in Vienna.

I loved the decor inside the rooms. There was more than enough space for all of my belongings. Everything felt very well-kept. The bathroom was super nice! The hotel is in two buildings. I was in the separate building -- but it was not confusing, thanks to the signs around the hallways, which I appreciated.

The location is just far enough from the "touristy" chaos, and close enough to still be very convenient for quick transit access. There are multiple grocery stores and public transport within a block, which was awesome for my needs. I would 100% stay again when I return to Vienna.

I love staying here. We were booked for 2 week stay. Place was close to the tram which was great for getting to all our planned excursions and destinations. They have free coffee everyday. Hotel was close to stores if you needed to buy groceries. You have everything you need. It was cozy and I would highly recommend this place. It’s close to a lot of good restaurants.quiet to get some good sleep and rest. We really enjoyed our stay.

The room is okay but the guy at the front desk when we arrived (on a skinnier side with parted hair with a some length) is quite rude and cold. He is not very accommodating and not friendy at all. Furthermore I do feel that we didn't get the room we booked for, we all booked the room as the other parties in our trip but our room did not have a coffee machine because according to him, it's the type of room we booked (does not make sense because all room were booked together and all the same type in Expedia). The other staff are nice and friendly except for the guy who checked us in. Room and service could be improved for sure.
