Conveniently situated within a five minute walk of the Belvedere Palace, the beautiful NH Wien Belvedere hotel provides guests with the perfect stay. The hotel is only three tram stops away from downtown Vienna with its famous State Opera, Hundertwasserhaus, and Stephansdom.

Rennweg train station is only a few steps away from the hotel. All of the 114 rooms have traditional décor with modern amenities including free Wi-Fi, flat screen TVs, and a minibar.

Connecting rooms are also available. Our spacious rooms on the upper floors offer lovely views of Belvedere Park or the botanic garden.

The room was a good size and clean. The breakfast buffet was fabulous, lots of choice and well prepared and fresh. Some healthy choices too.
The bed wasn't as comfortable unfortunately, I prefer memory foam type mattresses. Also the sauna was not routinely on, you needed to request it to be switched on and wait half hour.

Staff were very friendly and helpful , the young lady on the reception made sure the next day we had a twin room for the rest of our stay. Location was superb , with the tram 71 2min walk away that takes your straight into the centre. In addition, the S7 train links the airport to the hotel and takes around 28mins and is a lot cheaper than the Citycat and just as effective, cost is around 9euro for a round trip.

There were insects found in the rooms we booked and even dead ones indicating the housekeeping was not thorough. We also noticed some stains on the basin countertops showing that it wasn’t cleaned. Tried to make fo but it was really uncomfortable to us. It was pretty bad that we had to vacate the rooms and went to the hotel next door adding costs to us and them refusing to refund the un-utilised nights.

This was the perfect place to stay in Vienna. My room over looked the botanical gardens. I was able to open the windows which made it feel like a room in a home rather than a hotel room. The staff was very accommodating and very friendly. Love my stay.

Excellent price vs value balance

The location is perfect! It's my 4th time in Vienna and this hotel made my stay so much easier! It is waking distance to one of the main transport hubs of the city - Rennweg and it has quite a few food options around.

We didn't have breakfast, but from what we experienced with the staff - everyone is very kind and helpful. They have a rule that you get a free drink if you note that you don't need a room cleaning that day - that was so sweet.

The hotel is in some building of historical importance, which you can see from the facade but also from the inside - ceilings and windows are very high. The room we had was slightly run-down but it was charming & the bed was very comfortable.

Easy to get to from the S7 airport train. Lovely location next to the Botanical Gardens and Lower Belvedere. The 71 streetcar across from the hotel takes you directly to the Ring. The staff are very thoughtful, and the Green option allows you to have free drinks. Also, my room was extremely quiet.

Our room was large and comfortable, and the hotel was conveniently located. The breakfast buffet was varied. The only negative point was the shower: the showering space was much too narrow, which made the showring experience fairly unpleasant.

The entire staff was terrific. The breakfast choices were great. The rooms are not soundproof and need updating - at least the bathroom. We were disappointed that the website posted laundry facilities which should be laundry service. We thought we had access to washer and dryer to do our own laundry. The lobby is not very welcoming or special--specifically missing holiday decorations for CHRISTMAS. Chairs in the lobby need to be replaced also. A bit disappointed for the price we paid and the experience we hoped to enjoy as a family. Three rooms booked at this hotel. :(

Not one of the better NH

Just an OK hotel. Two things are paramount for my stay: coffee machine in room and good shower. While the pictures clearly showed Nespresso machine but my room did not have one and they didn’t oblige upon asking. Shower was terrible. I intended to take pic but forgot. Hardly a trickle, very low force. Bathtub present but no shower head in bathtub (it was removed). No water bottles.
Breakfast was exactly the same every day.

Nice stay in NH Belvedere Vienna

During check in, served by Sophia and she given us a noisy room facing the streets, 2 of us did not sleep. Then Anne changed room for us and much better. It was the good hospitality of Anne and the restaurant guy supervisor that we rebook this hotel to come back again for another 4 nights. Hope we will be happy here again.

Awesome but no airport shuttle/transfer

Love the place minus that the airport transfer/shuttle amenity listed on Hotels.com is wrong. I booked it because of the airport shuttle listing--searched for that specifically. They were willing to call a transfer but not included in the hotel price. Likely would have stayed elsewhere for ease of airport shuttle for an early morning flight. Elected for an Uber because of luggage making the tram difficult.

The hotel was great in any aspect! From the staff to the cleanliness. I would recommend people to stay here as I felt very safe and it was in a key spot so I was close to the center but not too close to the tourist spots. The reception told us that we were in safe space since we were close to 3 embassies. The room was beautiful and had a lot of space for 2 people. I recommend.

We loved our stay here and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We also loved the option to not have house cleaning in exchange for free drinks. The only thing that we would have loved was a fan in the room as it was warm during the day - it did cool down at night. We opened the windows but that was noisy. The location is fantastic to walk to the old city and is close to transportation. Overall I would definitely stay her again and recommend to our friends.

This hotel has a good location for getting into Vienna Centre 71 Tram direct!
We stayed 3 nights, room may have been a little too warm for my liking but that’s just me!!
Comfy bed, good shower what more do you need, close to the Belvedere Schloss…. Would defo stay there again!

Front desk was very nice, we were there for one night and wanted to do early check in, they looked and tried twice but the room was not available, nonetheless we were able to leave bags and go explore Vienna.

Other small things such as: handling postage, baggage storage before and after check in/out, as well calls to the desk were all immediately handled well.

Room itself was ok, nice desk to use with laptop, other than that was a clean good place, 4 min walk to the tram that brings you into town.

I spent 2 weeks researching hotels and am so glad I did because I was delighted by the experience and bang for my buck!

First, the quality standards are great. Second, the room was spacious and much larger than that noted by other competing 4-star hotels in the same price range. My room had large windows and faced the garden. The furnishing, flooring, etc., were clean and felt like it was new/well maintained, and looked splendid/well designed. The hotel has a wellness center (free to use).

Third, the hotel has a wonderful location - just 3 to 4 minutes walking distance to both the Rennweg tram and metro train station. The Rennweg metro itself is just a 4 minute train ride to the main Vienna Hauptbahnhof train station. One can even take the metro train to the airport from the Rennweg station. The hotel is 3 minutes walking distance to the Lower Belvedere entrance and from there it takes about 5 minutes walking distance to go to Upper Belvedere. The tram ride from Rennweg station to the central part of Vienna takes 7 minutes. Next to the Rennweg station, there are several cafes/restaurants/fast food options as well as a supermarket.

Additionally, I liked the small extra touches - for instance, the fruit and cool drink available at the reception and, as a green initiative, the option of receiving bar coupons for waiving room service. Finally, it's the outstanding value that the hotel offers (quality relative to price) that makes it a superb choice.

Friendly staff, nice size rooms

Located close to the Belvedere Palace and Gardens. Front desk was friendly and knowledgeable. Great wifi and good amenities (love the juice and water at check in!). Room and bathroom was roomy compared to other hotels in Vienna.

old fashioned but flawless

the building, before being an hotel,has a long history of uses. This probably influenced its architecture. the place gives a vibe of the '40 '50 but it is not bad.
clean rooms, friendly receptionists and well connected position are the best features of this place.
no restaurant inside, but outside there are various solutions

Excellent value & comfort

This was the first time I had stayed at the NH hotel chain. And I am very impressed. I will stay at NH hotels wherever possible because of my experience at NH Erin Belvedere. Our room was excellent and the value was superb. The management and staff were very efficient and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great location, near the Rennweg train station, so easy access to/from the airport as well as other stations around the city. The room was bigger than I expected. Nicely decorated, plenty of clothing storage and clean. The “free” internet option isn’t the fastest, but I could still watch a Netflix/YouTube video with only a little loss in quality. There are options to upgrade speed for 10 Euro/day which wasn’t worth it for my stay. I didn’t get the breakfast option, so I can’t really comment on the food. Check-in/out staff was great - friendly and helpful. Also, nice grocery store down the street as well as nice cafe close by.

The location of the hotel relative to the train station and the tram line into the city center was excellent. The check in procedure was also very good (we arrived early and were able to put our luggage into storage until our room was ready). The breakfast selection was very varied and of good quality. The coffee was very good indeed. The beds were very comfortable. My only issue was that we booked two rooms and both were for designed for disabled guests which meant that the shower head was very low and for somebody measuring 6ft 3\" was a problem. We asked if we could get another room but they were unable to accomodate us. Aside from that we had a great stay.

Property was at a good location and rooms were spacious and clean. Only issue was that we asked for extension for check out which was given yet another member of staff called us to say if we don’t leave we would have to pay extra, which should not have been the case as it was previously agreed with another member of staff.

The hotel was a base. It was perfect - 10 minute walk to centre (if that). It was very comfortable, clean and bright. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

As there was not tea/coffee making facilities in the room this was a little disappointing however there was a vending machine in reception where you could buy tea/coffee or snacks.
Unfortunately this was not working on one occasion however the reception staff sorted the problem for me.

Hotel was nice and clean. The air conditioning wasn't keeping the room cool enough and opening the window would make the room too noisy. We arrived couple hours earlier than the check-in time. The room was not available even though it was after the checkout time. We waited in the lobby since it was raining. The hotel attendant did not even bother letting us know that the room was ready even though he saw us sitting there for a while and we got to know the room was ready only after asking a new attendant about our room.

Customer service fell short

The rooms are a bit dingy but clean. If you’re looking for excellent customer service and a hospitable front desk experience look elsewhere. Despite interacting with multiple front desk attendants the experience left us feeling less than cared for. As someone with previous experience in the hospitality and travel industries the interactions with the front desk fell short.
If you’re looking for a great hotel with an incredibly kind and accommodating front desk visit the hotel up the street a block.

When we arrived, we were notified that we were randomly upgraded from a standard room to a superior room, which was very large by European hotel standards, very nice and clean. The staff members were friendly and helpful. The hotel is also really well-located. Highly recommended!

Great as any NH! Perfect location, I asked for a superior room with a view and it’s worth it.... the guy from the front desk at night time, was excellent: really friendly and helpful.... not the girl at the evening, she was just ok, did the job....

Very happy with the hotel. The staff were friendly and forthcoming with info, we got an upgrade and the room was clean and comfortable. WiFi worked well (I used VPN for work and it was fine). Sauna was a great bonus - we had it all to ourselves, it's open 24/7 (just need to give the staff 30 min heads up to get it warmed up). Train station within 5 min walk from where you can get from/to the airport in under 20 minutes, frequent service.

Originally two Gothic gable houses, the property was transformed into a small Baroque palace in the 17th century, complete with horse stables and a private chapel.

While retaining its Baroque charm, the palace was converted into a first-class hotel in 1976. Owned by the Knights of Malta since the 15th century, the hotel derives its name from their first Austrian residence in Mailberg.
