The room was great! Location was very central with almost 20-30 min walks to major attractions and museums. It's close to a train station and a lot of the trams and buses. Most importantly, it was close to the Vienna concert hall where a many lovely concerts were held. The staff is super nice and helpful in all aspects - from food recommendations to umbrella rentals - everything is perfect! The only thing is that the heat is a bit too high but this was resolved via opening windows. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

Rooms are large with lots of space. Bed wasn’t the best, I would say average didn’t wake up feeling refreshed. Breakfast is a hefty 24 euros each and the selection is limited. There are much better options outside for way less money. Staff were fantastic and super helpful. Hotel location is great next to metro, walkable to town centre. It’s an OK hotel but nothing fancy.

Location is the best,everything is around reachable by foot. Our room was very spacious, clean, bathroom big with everything needed. Staff friendly,polite,helpful. B/fast good with variety of everything fresh and enough. Liked my cappuccino very much.
Only thing which we didn’t like were small beds. They were so tiny couldn’t relax properly during the night as had feeling I will fall if I turn.

Good location that was walkable to the centre and very close to the U Bahn. The hotel was very clean, comfotable, very friendly and very spacious. Can’t fault it. The breakfast choices were fresh and varied from cereals and fruit to pastries and cooked items. Our party had a wonderful few days.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the hot sauna, since it rained while we were there. The room was perfect with a view of the park. Breakfast buffet was splendid and had lots of choices, like various meats, eggs, and cheeses, some oatmeals, yogurts, cold cereals, pastries, fresh fruits, fresh veggies, juices, coffee, and lots of attendants replenishing. Great location being close to everything we wanted to see and do.

Highlight Suites was just terrific. The staff was pleasant and helpful, the location in downtown Vienna made it easy to get to the many restaurants, museums and shops, all of which are easily walkable.
The room/suite was beyond spacious! Nicely appointed with great bathroom amenities.
My only slight disappointment was there was no iron/ironing board which after unpacking, would have been helpful.
I didn't eat in the restaurant so, cannot review it.
Overall, a really terrific hotel!

Black mould. Old beaten up. Uncomfortable beds. Phone not working. Shower not working. Tiny 20 inch screens used as TVs. No lock on bedroom and bathroom doors. Parking not on site as promised. Extremely difficult and time consuming to go to another hotel across the road to park. Had to walk three times back-and-forth to figure out where the parking was and how to access it. Very frustrating.

Perfect quiet place to rest and near sights

Serene, calm and beautiful hotel, conveniently located within a 5 to 10-minute walk to the heart of Vienna. The light-filled room was large, immaculate and so nice with its tall ceilings and blackout curtains. The breakfast is one of the nicest hotel breakfasts I’ve seen with its many fresh options. We look forward to it every morning. The hotel also has a new small gym downstairs with a nice sauna.

Nice large suite that was clean and stocked nicely. Location was right across the street from a beautiful park that we walked through everyday to get to the centre of Vienna. The distance is approx 1.3km to Hofburg and equal distance to the beautiful Belvedere Museum in the opposite direction. Hotel is centrally located if you enjoy walking. We did not have a rental car until we left Vienna and it worked perfectly. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. We even used the laundry service, which was very helpful.

This hotel's location is great, which in the main reason I chose it. It is walkable to most tourist attractions. The only place we took a Uber was to the Schonbrunn Palace and Garden which was a 18-minute ride. There are plenty of restaurants and shops withing 15 minutes walk. The hotel shows its age and can use some renovation, but that has reflected in its price which I considered a great value. The chair in our room has no cushion, and there is not enough lighting in the living room. The bath room appears having been remodeled. It is much more modernized compared to the rooms. The rooms are clean and a small kitchen is functionable. Overall, I still highly recommend this hotel.

I loved the large suite with mini kitchen, tea and coffees, towel rack warmer, large washroom with magnifying mirror. The TV only offered English news channels, no movies. Decaffeinated coffee in the room would have been nice. I also enjoyed the
saunas by the gym. Excellent location and helpful staff!

It is located close to the central. The room was spacious, with a bath and shower. The staff was lovely. However, I think they never changed the towels and bed sheets in our room. The towels were precisely in the same place where we left them in our room, and the bed sheets were just tidied up.

It was really easy to get to on public transport and everywhere was within a 20-30 mins walk. Lots of places to eat and the staff were really helpful when approached. The room was big and clean, with nice in room toiletries. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, so can't comment but there are places within a short walk which we preferred as en route to places. It's between two other hotels but I'm glad I picked HiLights!

I was not expecting the room to be huge but there was big space for luggages and all our stuff. I walked to St steohens Cathedral around 15 mins. Went to belvedee same 15 mins. Walked ro christmas markets stephansplatz, rathausplatz, belvedere, everything is walkable. I walked solo to christmas markets and it was safe at night

We were made to feel very welcome upon our arrival. The hotel was clean and tidy. Our room on the 3rd floor was quiet and spacious. Was glad that the windows could be opened. Liked that there was a separate bathroom with a closed door. Everything was spotlessly clean. Plenty of wardrobe space. Safety deposit box. Minor things: bath towels were a bit on the small side, no shower gel supplied only shampoo/conditioner, no iron in room, and pillows were limp (although the bed itself was comfy and it was a proper double not two singles pushed together). Location was good in as much as it took about 12 minutes to walk into the city centre, but there wasn't a lot to do in the immediate vicinity. Beethoven's statue was very near, and a few restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful hotel!! We just loved it here. Our suite was huge and so comfortable. The hotel was spotless throughout. The location was great. It is within walking distance of most all of the Vienna tourist attractions. What we enjoyed here the most though was the staff. All of the desk staff just went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and help us out. We can’t say enough excellent things about them. The only negative about our stay here was the breakfast. It was 24 euro per person and it just wasn’t worth it. There was a decent selection of food to choose from, but the food was just ok quality. The juice one morning was so chemical tasting that we couldn’t drink it. And I question their food handling. The sterno went out under the sausages, and my sausage was really cold. When I alerted the buffet staff, they just relit the sterno and never adequately heated the meat. That’s a big no no. Overall I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat, I would just avoid the breakfast buffet at all costs.

Great location if you want to be near the Wien Mitte train station (where you catch the airport train). Hotel itself was a bit dated but everything is mostly fine. Suite was very spacious and well equipped if you're in for a longer stay (we had a 20-hour layover in Vienna). Also very quiet location so you can easily get some rest.
Photos suggested a suite with hardwood flooring but ours was fully carpeted, including the kitchenette which suffered from stains. Suggest leaving your shoes on in this suite or at least socks.

on arrival we have been allocated a room that wasn't up to standard -to say the least so we wanted to leave.Than the very efficient and lovely girls moved us to another room that was great for us and we stayed.Loved the way they have thought of many thing a traveller might need in the bathroom and the whole place had plenty of room,light and space for our stuff.We will be back again and that time to sample the great breakfast too as this time we had no time for it.All the staff are exceptionally nice and pleasant -fully recommend it.

Uncomfortable bed, dirty carpet, poor service and the list just goes on. I booked the family suite with 1 queen and 2 twin beds. Instead of a queen bed, they joined 2 twin beds and made it a queen, just ridiculous. And for the other 2 twin beds, they gave 2 sofa beds instead of twins. That sofa bed was one of the most uncomfortable bed one can sleep on. I never signed up for sleepless nights while booking the rooms. Next, shower gel ran out and even after the room service was complete, we saw they never got refilled. What kind of room service is that? Overall, it was a very bad experience for me and my family. Will never stay in this hotel.

Overall a great place to stay. Neat \"boutique\" style hotel within easy walking distance to the subway station and the park, as well as the city center. Staff was welcoming and helpful. The rooms were very spacious, although the showers are very small (bigger than a cruise ship shower, but not by much). The beds were a bit harder than I prefer, and the king-sized bed was actually two twin beds pushed together. Still, I would not hesitate to stay there again when in Vienna.

Overall good experience with some little things. The receptionists were very friendly. The suite was spacious and clean.
Surprisingly no decent coffee/coffee machine but only a kettle to boil water and instant coffee packages. For extra 15 euros you could get Nepresso with 10 pods.
Also hallways were renovated so did not look like a 4 star hotel.

Stayed in the deluxe suite which was nice and spacious with a good sized bathroom. There was a mix up with the booking (Expedia miscommunication) but the staff member was very good at sorting the issue out and we got the room we had booked. The hotel was clean and not far from a subway stop so easy to access. I would recommend.

Air conditioner did not cool suite enough. It was cooler outside. Staff found us 2 fans to use for the whole stay. Also, recommend adding a wall handle for those needing more stability entering and existing the deep bathtub. Otherwise, our stay was fine.

Staff is friendly and very helpful. Our suite was more than twice the size of a normal hotel room. It's nice to be able to sit on a couch in another room rather than on the bed. The room and bathroom were clean and well maintained. Traffic noise was not a problem. Breakfast selection was excellent. We would definitely stay here again. I'd give the HiLight a 10 out of 10.

We (4 people) stayed in a suite at this hotel and it was lovely. I’d defitniely recommend it! It’s very close to multiple areas in the centre of Vienna (you can get to most tourist areas on foot - at most a 30min walk). It’s also only a 1 min walk away from a train station. Very very clean and lovely service at the hotel!

The room was very comfortable and quiet. There was virtually no noise from other parts of the building that we could hear - even from our next door neighbors. The location is good: right next to Stadtpark, a block away from the U line, and walking distance to the ring. One downer: we had an extra person staying with us for part of our trip; they charged us extra for the extra person. In the states, you get charged for the room, not for the number of people. We thought that was pretty chintzy of them.

So glad we stayed here

My husband and I stayed here during our longer European adventure vacation. We stayed at this location two nights and I am so glad we did.
First, let me say, after the crowds and hustle of Italy, I was so happy to be in Vienna. We flew into the main airport and took the CAT train into the city. From the CAT station we walked about 10 to 15 mins to our hotel. The property was easy to find and the area felt safe.
The front staff was friendly and helpful enough to provide a nice map of the city. Our room was huge. There is a large living room area with couch, TV, microwave, coffee /sink area and even an area for coat hanging and storage. The bedroom was also large and included another TV for entertainment. The bathroom was large, clean, and had a tub!!
You really felt like you could relax in the space and since we were halfway through our trip when we stayed here that was a relief.
The bed was comfortable enough and there were extra pillows and blankets available in the room.
The area outside the hotel had plenty of options for dining, shopping, and sight seeing. The city itself is beautiful and clean.
I would highly recommend this hotel and this city : )

There is one thing with this hotel. Don't believe to the picture on web site even though they claim that that there are 3 types of rooms, but I didn't see hardwood floor, just carpet.
