Friendly staff, easy to find, old fashioned hotel in an old building. Central location made it
good value for money for festive season. Walking distance (flat) to main streets and Christmas Markets, good connections for transport nearby.

Warm rooms, in a quite cold time of the year (December) was a plus. 4px room is very basic. The sofa bed when used as a bed blocked the wardrobe and made it inaccessible.
We did not choose breakfast as we found it overpriced at 20Euro per person, many cafes in the area as an alternative as it is centrally located.
I would recommend for a low(er) budget in a central location.

Excellent location and a very peaceful atmosphere. The room was warm and cozy, which was perfect for a winter visit. The bed was comfortable, the shower always had hot water, and the room was cleaned daily. A big thanks to the friendly staff for making our stay so pleasant. It was quiet and never felt overcrowded—definitely a great choice for a stay in Vienna!

There was no AC. We were advised portable AC was supposed to be in room, it wasn't. We got a portable fan instead and were advised next day forecast is much cooler and we won't need AC. That's is not an acceptable response to situation at hand. Also no hot water and why corridor light not kept on but requires mannual on/off is weird. Corridor leading to elevator us dark and feels unsafe. You have to cross length of corridor to reach light switch which is next to elevater. We appreciate energy conservation but that's going too far.

Worst experience to sleep in lobby

The worst experience which somebody could have!!
Because of delay of our flight, we arrived close to midnight and the door of hotel was closed!!! There were the guests of other 3-4 rooms as well as us there!!
It was an announcement paper with one phone number which declare tonight nobody is in reception and call this number, but nobody picked up the phone!!

8-10 people were in the street and by chance a guest was going out and we could enter yo lobby and nobody was there!!!!
Everybody slept in a corner of lobby till almost 7 am which 2 young girls came and without excusing or explaining anything , just told us , you can go to other hotel
We asked to meet manager or to talk to somebody and it seems manager was in vacation!
Lobby was so dirty and everywhere you can find insects or other things.
We sent a claim to hotels.com and they re-act very professionally, but nobody from hotel even gave them any answer.
This is an unbelievable experience which I faced in the last 25 years with one hotel and nobody believes it.

Antitourism in Vienna

Very unfriendly to tourists from other countries. Television unusable .no other subtitles available but German. Ridiculous. Similarly Vienna has spectacularly poor availability of translated instructions even in self service pay stations when one wants to pay for merchandise! Very inhospitable in many ways.

I stayed in a suite with my family. We greatly enjoyed the property and the location, at walking distance from most important sites. We had some difficulty with management before getting there, since they interpret the \"non refundable\" nature of the booking in a very strict sense to mean that no changes are allowed, even to add a person or book a different, more expensive room. But once we got there, we had a great stay. The suite was spacious, the staff was very kind and helpful, the breakfast was excellent, and the location is great. We'd certainly go back to this hotel.

Simple hotel in the periphery of Vienna. Short walk to Karlsplatz and the opera (5-8 mins) Hotel is quite basic, no frills but the price was good for its location. The beds were so soft and uncomfortable, I had back aches the next day. The squeaky floors was annoying. every other step the floor squeaks loudly. Bathroom was clean and again pretty basic. AC was cool not cold for the 34C days we were there. All in all, pretty basic and ok hotel if you are not too particular.

There were 2 used dental flosses in the bathtub, the room was smelling strange and there was no window, only bottom-hung window, which couldn't be opened because the main street was below and very loud. Breakfast was very poor, only basics and there is not enough space in the cellar room for everybody. This hotel would not exist if it hadn't this good location. Max 2 Star hotel.

All of the rooms are located on the 6th floor, so aside from navigating to the room itself our short stay was nice. Be sure to bring amenities like your toothbrush and toothpaste as only soaps, towels, and few coffee & tea packets (with a little nespresso machine) are available. Altogether it was a lovely stay closely located to tourist attractions and quiet in the evening. Would definitely come back if need be!

Hotel is 5 min walk to Mirabell Gardens. Staff is really nice. Room was very spacious with separate area for closets and entryway. Everything was very close. Only bad thing was that they had a couple of night clubs very near and on Friday you could hear the people talking loudly, inside the room. We were tired and didn’t mind too much but it went on until 2 am. Our room faced the same street as the club. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay very much.

We recently stayed at this hotel. The location is fantastic, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The staff were friendly and helpful.

While the hotel was generally clean, the decor could use some updating to give it a more modern feel. That said, it didn't detract too much from the overall comfort of the stay.

First impression it is old, and it reminds me of the movie the shining espicially the hallway leading to staff elevator. I later found out that first 4 floors of the building are almost empty. and only the top floor is used for hotel rooms.

The hotel floor carpet is old, could not find any ER exit like stairway

We got an apartment style room in the third floor. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable for three adults. We had a small kitchen, fridge and microwave which were useful.
The hotel is really close to a supermarket, tram stops and restaurants. It's on a walking distance from the city center.
Overall good for the price.

This is not a Hotel. It is a jail. A very old building with old dirty carpet, uneven floors, nasty bad smell throughout the entire building.
We couldn’t stay there and n less than an hour we could move another hotel. The new hotel was almost the same price but was fantastic.
This is the worse hotel I’ve ever seen. Not worth a dime per night. So far we have wasted more than 600 USD.
Besides, that the hotel denied our request for cancellation although we agreed to pay for the first night. They said cancellation is not possible because we’ve booked via Expedia.
Today, we’re flying back to US and I will contact Expedia for a claim and request for a refund. If Expedia denies our request, I never use Expedia again.
Such a Bad Experience Never Again.

An older hotel, but nicely equipped. Breakfast was pricey, so we elected to eat on our own at a cute cafe. Hotel is located close to the tram and walkable to many shops and restaurants. Our stay here was a very nice experience and would recommend this hotel,
