I loved everything about the hotel except the size of the elevator. I’m claustrophobic and it would only fit two adults with two small carry on suitcases. We were on the 11th floor so I had to get over it. Room cleanliness, location, comfort all was great

The perfect location; near the main tourists sites as well as Wien Mitte station where the airport express train arrives. The staff was very friendly and professionally mannered. The room was kept clean and neat. Although I did not get a chance to try, they provide free coffee and cakes in the afternoon everyday! Highly recommended.

Our room on the 12th floor was very clean and comfortable with a lovely city view. It is very close to a Tram stop from which you can access virtually all areas of the city. It is also walkable to many restaurants. We are unfamiliar with the city of Vienna and also do not speak German. Staff members were more than willing to help us make our way. Rachael was particularly helpful!!!
30+ Euros for breakfast seems a bit much.

The Hotel AM Parkring was very comfortable and clean. Beautiful views of Vienna from our balcony and close to public transport, restaurants and shopping. Coffee and cake available on the 11th floor every day in the afternoon. My only complaint was breakfast was 32 euro per person. We found breakfast elsewhere.

Excellent rooms. Looks like they have been renovated recently. Lots of space, sofa, great bathroom and fridge. All on top three floors so good views of the city. No restaurant other than for breakfast but plenty of options to eat out. Very close to a tram stop on the Vienna ring.

This hotel was perfectly located close to public transport and the centre of Vienna whilst also hosting the balance of the quiet park close by. We also upgraded to a balcony room which was completely worth it. My only comment would be on the air conditioning. The system was quite old and we struggled with keeping the room cool in the evening due to the extreme heat.

Top tier balcony. Hotel is located on floors 11-13 with 13 being the top floor. This is one the highest viewpoints in Vienna, and you're in for a great view.

Would've been 5 stars for me, except that the staff service wasn't the best. We came in from a long day hoping to order room service as we saw that room service runs till 10pm, but we were told at 8:15pm that room service closed at 8pm. When we went back to our room, verified their literature and confronted them, they offered to service us. And the room cleaning wasn't done till 5pm on one of the days we returned back before then. We came back to rest a bit before our next activity, but the room cleaning came in at 5pm and we had to sit outside on the balcony in the drizzle while they cleaned the room. Service is pretty bad for a beautiful hotel with great location, comfortable rooms and beautiful rooms.

No Entertainment Hotel Okayish Public Transport

Spacious, Well managed hotel with poor thinking about international customers.

The room had a balcony with good view, but require a lot of walking for trams, its bit far away from the city centre.

The hotel had put zero thoughts about international guests and there was no entertainment for you or your kids. They have a big TV but unless you own a Samsung its worthless, you cannot cast, there is no internet TV option plus near zero English channels. All of this could have been solved by a smart TV.

Overall the service is good, cordial staff and okay breakfast buffet. Issues for late night travel as trams run leas frequent or stop.

Very good hotel and best single room i ever had. It was in 13th floor with balcony, so nice view from the room and balcony. Room was spacious for the single room with closet and refrigerator. All setting, furniture, etc was very excellent and i even liked the shower room setting with big showe head. Best hotel experice i had... including free coffee and cakes in the afternoon... i just wish they had free water in the lobby for longer time, including evening time.

Great location making it very easy to explore Vienna on foot or hop on public transport. Quiet, well equipped, pleasant and helpful team. I docked a star because of a couple of housekeeping issues - relatively minor and quickly resolved but worth a mention in the spirit of constructive feedback: we were given a double room despite requesting a twin, we had no hand soap, one of the bath towels was removed after the first day and not replaced. Would still recommend this hotel.

I loved my single room with a balcony overlooking Vienna. He was spotless and well thought out. The hotel is centrally located for walking to many attractions. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only drawback is the $32 buffet breakfast but I ate elsewhere so maybe it’s worth it.

Keep up the good work!

The suite room is very spacious and comfortable for 3 of us. Nice view on the eleventh floor. The breakfast room setting is very cosy, like a little cafe and food is good too. The tea and cakes offered in the afternoon is just as good. Location is good, we walked to most attractions and many dining options nearby.

So happy with my stay here. The place was wonderful. The bed was soooo comfortable! I had a balcony and it was great to wake up to, definitely a plus. The heat does get warm, so I did open up the windows at night but that wasn’t a problem. House keeping is amazing, so sweet and attentive! I felt very safe. I paid for breakfast one day and it was very good! Hotel staff overall was great, they did help, to get me a car to the airport when my flight was at 4am. The location was great. It was a 10 minute walk from st. Stephen’s church. This was a part of my first solo travel trip and I felt super safe and had a great experience!

This property unfortunately used creative photos to make it look more grander than it is. 3 star at best. Rooms were small and very stuffy. No air flow at all and there were times I woke up with trouble breathing because I was so stuffed up. We were out of all toiletries (toilet paper, tissues, towels) and I asked for housekeeping to come early so we could use our bathroom and she came up and yelled at us in German. My husband got sick from an injury and it was a very stressful time for me just getting to a new country and trying to find a doctor and help. A little kindness and understanding would have been appreciated.

We are Canadian so of course, our common ammenities will be different in hotels in europe, which we do not have a problem with and are also very used to but this hotel was different. To get a coffee, the only place available was going to front desk. The only kind and welcoming agent worked the overnight shift. The coffee was chargeable of course and not a freebie. Keep that in mind.

The cake and coffee available during certain times was a nice touch but the machine needed a cleaning to be used and that seemed like a big deal to the staff to do. No one was in sight looking after this room and the cakes were old and dry.

Breakfast was very good. This was a highlight for us. Staff was friendly in here and most of the food was fresh.

Overall, the rooms were a let down, some of the staff were horrible and if you need help, you are on your own.

This was a an absolutely perfect place to stay for exploring Vienna - very conveniently located near the old town and close to major transportation hubs. I had a room with a terrace and it was worth the extra money!! Fantastic views and lovely location for sitting outside. The single room was very spacious for one person. WOW! What an amazing hotel! We were absolutely delighted to have been given room 306, which in our opinion is the very best room in the hotel. It is located on the 13th floor and feels like you are in the penthouse suite! As it has a corner balcony, when the sun rises in the east on the morning the sun is shining on your balcony as you look out over the beautiful green Stadtpark. And then as the day progresses into the afternoon, and the evening, the sun is then shining on your balcony facing southwards. So, therefore you have the pleasure of enjoying the beautiful Viennese sun from sunrise to sunset. I am fairly sure that room 306 is the only room in the hotel that enjoys that luxury. When we revisit the beautiful city of Vienna, it is the only room in the whole of the city that we want to stay in! Thank you to the staff of Hotel Am Parkring for making our stay at your hotel absolutely perfect!

This has to be one of my best hotel stays, I had a single room on the top floor which was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. I had a balcony that looked over the city and main attractions which was an added bonus I hadn`t expected. House keeping was everyday so I had clean towels daily and a clean room. The staff were friendly from housekeeping to the reception staff, and in particular one man on reception whilst I was there was very friendly who helped me a lot with my questions and just made friendly conversation, I regret not asking his name because I would of liked to give him a mention, he also gave me an umbrella because we had a thunderstorm as I was ready to go out without a coat on, I was very greatful. If I ever go back to Vienna I would come back here without a question as I know I`d get top quality. This hotel is highly recommended by me.

The hotel was better than advertised. A wonderful place to stay — walking distance to Stephansplatz and the underground stations. The view from the expansive balcony onto St Stephan’s Cathedral was unexpected and delightful. The hotel staff were absolutely marvellous, from front desk to cleaning staff — always smiling and always ready to help. You get the feeling that they consider the hotel not just a place to work, but their own, and are anxious to show it to the best advantage, making their guests feel right at home too. One of the best places we’ve ever stayed in, and we hope to return there soon!

Fantastic small hotel in an excellent location with most city centre sights within an easy walk.
Reception is on the ground floor with a very small cafe/bar beside. Bedrooms are all on the 11th, 12th and 13th floor of the building and a large number of rooms seem to have a balcony which provide great views over Vienna depending on the the location of the bedroom.
All of the hotel team were very friendly and helpful.
We would certainly stay here again and felt if offered good value.

This place was great. The room featured a balcony with a fabulous view of the skyline. Sunsets were so enjoyable.

The room I stayed in was small but cozy and comfortable.

I experienced an incident when some ants appeared in the bathroom garbage can, but housekeeping was incredible and took immediate action to replace the can and thoroughly clean the area. I felt totally reassured seeing the steps they took and didn't experience any problems the rest of my visit.

It was about a 15 minute walk to the city centre. I found walking more convenient than public transportation for this area.

I gave the property 5 stars in all areas but an overall 4 star review simply because of the lack of blackout curtains. At 5:30am it was total daylight in the room which was definitely disruptive sleep wise. The property has great views and the staff is really quite lovely but I was tired every morning which was a bummer. I have a tough time sleeping in an eye mask which is my problem but most hotels have dark curtains. Just an FYI to light sleepers.

Great location at Parkring in the Innere Stadt in Vienna by combined with fantastic super accommodating staff. Walking distance from main atractions, excellent dining, shopping and places to relax. Hospitality is through the roof; top notch ammenities in the room, amazing 5-star restaurant level breakfast (and service) included, complementary desert and coffee in the lounge many many more. Highly recommended. Will be coming back.

The size of the room is good for a European hotel. Clean, furniture is nice and comfortable. The balcony was wonderful to sit and relax after a long day of touring the city. The staff were helpful. The breakfast was tasty, including hot and cold options, but overpriced. The shape of the room makes it a little odd. The bed is placed against the wall and slightly smaller than a US double. If you are sharing with a friend, then it will be too close for comfort.

This staff was amazing. They went above and beyond and were very helpful. The room had a great view. The beds were comfortable even if the furniture was outdated, it gave the you an old European feel. You can walk to many restaurants and lots of tourist attractions. It felt save even late at night. But really the best thing is the staff!

I adored this hotel. The location was perfect. 7-10 minute walk from the train station from the airport. Tons of restaurants and bars around the corner. Easy walking within 10 to 15 mins to get to all of the free tours, or main old town sites. Hop on hop off, close by. Mini supermarket Spar, just up the street for wine or beer or snacks. Lovely park across the street! Best of all, I Loved my room!!! Single with a balcony. Tiny yet spacious. If you get you will know what I mean, perfectly laid out. Separate shower and toilet, armchair and footrest, tea kettle, tea bags or instant coffee in the room. Nothing like sitting out on the balcony with a glass of wine, gorgeous peaceful view with a bonus of church bells ringing on the hour in the background. Feeling very “Sound of Music” hehe! The hotel offers complimentary coffee, tea and cake between 1pm at 5 pm. Cake is super fresh, coffee from the machine is excellent. Several Newspapers available, including NY Times. The staff were professional, friendly and proud of their city. I felt like they really wanted me to enjoy my time there. Would stay here again in a heart beat.
