The hotel breakfast and staff were pretty great. The entrance to the hotel is easy to miss. I'm really not a big breakfast fan, but they offered anything from custom omelettes, cheese/meat platters, bread baskets and so much more. The check in is on the 5th floor which is a little weird. I'd book this hotel again.

This hotel is ideally located in the center of old town Vienna. As a result however, it’s very busy and loud around the property.

We really loved having drinks at the restaurant on the property in the evenings but a point of feedback is that hotel guests should have first priority to the tables with the best views.

The room was spacious and clean and the bathroom was awesome. At night however, there’s often loud noises and banging above us because we were below the bigger restaurant on the property.

Great hotel in the heart of Vienna

This is my second time in the hotel
Last year I spent 2 nights and I loved it though I had an issue with the lacking of storage places .
Positives:
Fast check in and check out, staff friendly and helpful, always meet you with a beautiful genuine smile, I loved the breakfast , for me a set menu breakfast was great. The location is excellent just opposite to the magnificent st stephan cathedral .all shops , restaurants and cafes were around,

Negatives:
I have one negative thing in the room concerning the wardrobe , I can’t really call it a wardrobe, small , open it shows every thing
It has no place to place our clothes not evern shelves or drawers to place our personal clothes or things
, I found that very disturbing I think it’s something should be done about it , because it is the main reason why I might not come to the hotel in my next visit to Vienna,

Great location

Location is the best, especially as we only had 1 night stay. Rooms not too pretty but larger than most so that’s a bonus, good size bathroom. Pillows very soft & couldn’t find more so check that out before you go to bed. Reception is on level 6 with the Asian restaurant (which was buzzing) but the staff member spent the time to welcome us & sent us to the correct level for our room.

There are some important things to know about this hotel. For better or for worse, it is located in a touristy mall area. It has lots of shops, but also lots of people crammed outside your hotel. You will NOT hear crowd noise from your room. The hotel boasts to house two high-class restaurants, that you will need to have formal attire to dine in. I got room service from one and was not impressed. They have a dessert/bakery bar downstairs. They make them for tourists. Honestly it makes it smelly—I never had the baked dessert. The hotel offers a driver to pick you up from the airport!! Do this! It is a long way. Past the mall area, you are a short walk from all major attractions. The Cathedral they advertise to be right outside the hotel... It’s hundreds of years old. The exterior is cool—but the inside is dank, and you could pass on this one..I would stay in the hotel again—but I was initially overwhelmed by crowds (which you get used to), cathedral has a dud interior—but you can walk to other attractions and restaurants 5-10 minutes tops, or right outside the door. I would recommend this hotel to others with caveats.

I parked myself at the Cobdengasse garage for the same rate. It was about an 8-min walk. Alternately, the hotel offered to meet me at end of the pedestrian zone/square and park it for me. Had I had a lot of luggage, I would've gone that route. My negatives were largely due to the fact that it was New Year's, so the hotel had a lot of things going on. I didn't attend the festivities at the hotel, but it appeared a little chaotic. I had heard about reception being on the 6th floor, but it looked like a temporary table. The staff manning the door and handling check-in were all professional and friendly, but the overall experience didn't match the caliber of hotel it's supposed to be. The room was nice, and they handed out free champagne for New Year's and honored my free wine for being a VIP Hotels.com member. The bed was comfortable. The location is the biggest positive, by far...especially on New Year's...right in front of the sqaure. But breakfast was running late the next day due to the clean-up from the party before. So, I ended up leaving before getting the breakfast I had paid extra for. It's not a bad hotel, by any stretch, and the staff was great. The room was interesting...looked like a bachelor pad, but in a good way. I liked it. If it hadn't been for the super high New Year's rate, I wouldn't complain about a thing.

I had a problem when arriving because i didn’t know there is no street beside the hotel and i had to call them few minutes before arrival to arrange for the luggage porter to be there, besid that my stay was excellent, the room 👍👍👍, the check in and out was fast, restaurant great, friendly and helpful staff most of all the location opposite st sephan cathedral and in the core of the center,in my next visit to vienna i will surely pick the same place. This property is just next to the St Stephen’s Cathedral. Our room has a balcony with a spectacular view of the Cathedral and the square. The location is very convenient for shopping and there are lots of good restaurants around.

The staff was extremely nice and friendly however the hotel has no lobby. The entrance is through the side of a street kitchen narrow and not inviting. The reservation desk is part of the restaurant full of people with no privacy. Rooms are very nice and inviting. The breakfast was poor a la carte and when I asked for some more yogurt I was told I have to pay. Very Nice people but I will not return there.

This hotel is just about location. No amenities and not even a bottle of water included. Staff was nice enough. Hotel in general is nothing special but you pay for location a views. I would not recommend and would not stay here if doing it all over again. There’s better hotels 5-6 min walk from the location.

I visited many cities in Europe, however despite the location and rooms, employees in the receptions were extremely rude, not polite amd making fun of us.
When I went to check in , they were 2 ladies at the reception, one was with her iPad. I asked for the city view, she laughed at me and said with the price you paid you can’t have it and the other lady beside her did a Sardonic launched to me

Cons: Room/bed-type paid for was not delivered. Staff ignored simple request for additional pillow. Staff ignored request for Expedia member perk (wine). Hallways noise was extremely noticeable from room. Save your money and stay elsewhere, the premium you pay here just isn't worth it.

Filthy rooms. Room Stank upon entry. Pillows really smelled as if never changed and towels as well. I was never offered an upgrade for a room and never got bottle of wine. Only positive was location. Not sure if possible but would like the “VIP” offered at another location since not used at this one. Hotel needs to know about filthy conditions. (Especially as it wasn’t inexpensive).

Perfect location in the center of Vienna, close to all the important tourist spots. Clean and beautifully designed rooms. A small issue is that the lobby is just a small desk located in the 6th floor, right next to a loud/crowded bar so it wasn’t easy to communicate with the front desk staff. Still, a very nice hotel.

Location...staff...food...everything was perfect. My luggage was lost so I had a night without my belongings. The hotel staff offered me anything the might make my wait easier. They were always happy to help and gave me an extra time on my check out as my luggage arrived just in time to shower before I checked out. I will be back.

I have stayed here several times because of its location which is superb. The rooms need some refurbishment, staining etc. The bar is lively and a go to place for the locals and the hotel guests. We had Christmas Dinner in the hotel and it was 240 Euros per person plus drinks. I alerted them there would be 2 vegetarians and they confirmed they will pass it onto the kitchen which never happened. The food was average to bad. They did not advise me they would discount our bill as average burrata, soup and risotto probably cost them 20 euros. After I spoke to the Manager who was very nice, he reduced the cost by 200 euros (instead of

Great Hotel in Great European City

Incredible staff - courteous, friendly, professional and most importantly, effective. Location was also A+ being in the dead center of Central (Zentrum). Beautiful views of the plaza and St. Stephens Cathedral, close to shopping and great restaurants, easy access to other entertainment and business venues. Be sure to take some time to enjoy the hotel bar, take in an Opera, cruise around town in the horse carriages, and tour the wine country. Vistas outside of Vienna in the Wauchau district are amazing.

Do & Co is a beautiful hotel, perfect location wonderful service, food, comfort and amenities. We would definitely stay tiger again next tine in Vienna. A small issue is not great bathroom lighting and the shower is not private from the rest of the suite, sharing with a teenage child not ideal. Otherwise a great place to stay.

This trip was planned around attending a concert with my son. The hotel could not have been in a better location...right in the square across from the most beautiful church in the area. The excitement was palpable when we entered the square, day and night. The shops, restaurants, museums, sights, etc, we're all within walking distance and were 'top notch'.
Our hotel room was perfect...comfortable mattresses, roomy, and had perhaps the best 'shower power' that I have ever experienced at any hotel that I have ever been to.
The entire staff was cordial and accommodating, from the General Manager, Andreas, right down to the kind housekeepers, who kept us stocked with plenty of towels.
Andreas was kind enough to help us get tickets to the venue of our concert, perhaps the best seats in the house, for face value!!! Stub hub was demanding 4X the price for inferior seats. We were extremely happy!!! In fact, happy enough that I will be returning to the very same hotel with my wife in the near future!
In conclusion, I highly recommend DO&CO Vienna. Our short stay could not have been better.

The property isn’t the main old building in the picture. It’s the very modern building to the right. Best view it on Google Earth.
The hotel tries a bit too hard to be cool. Literature advises you of cool bars where trophy wives hang out for example. Not in keeping with the historic nature of Vienna.
Otherwise, all facilities were good.
No real ground floor presence to the building. Reception at L6.
Breakfast was rather overpriced for what is offered.
No coffee facilities in the rooms, though an extensive (OTT) minibar with full bottles of whiskey etc rather than single shot bottles. A bit too much when all you fancy is a nightcap having been exploring wonderful Vienna all day.
Location is excellent.

You cannot be more central to Vienna than this hotel. Great staff. The housekeeping needs to pick it up a notch. Some ledges had lots of dust, the area around the toilet did not look like the pee had been cleaned. Super quiet, nice to be able to open windows.

Wow! Right in the city center and easy walking distance to everything! When checking in, told the front desk person that we were celebrating our honeymoon, we were offered a free upgrade and a bottle of champagne! Totally not expected but was a wonderful gesture! But the reception staff we encountered were overall not good. Check in was ok but female receptionist on Friday/Saturday, and check out male receptionist on Sunday were very unhelpful and quite abrupt/rude, and really lets the rest of your great hotel down
