i cannot say enough positive words about Austria Trend Hotel.
the front staff was not only extremely helpful at check in and check out, but everyday enquired as how they could help with walking directions to my destination.
the hotel is so centrally located in the Old city that St. Steven’s, the Opera and all the museums are very easily to walk to at anytime of the day and night.
This is a location that i would use again if i were to return again to Vienna.
amazing breakfast as well.

The room was not as clean as we expected, it was old as the curtains were teared and the paint and furniture look old. The room temperature had to be supplemented by opening the windows as the air conditioning system was not working properly.

I liked the central location--can walk anywhere. We had a huge room overlooking Kaertner Strasse. I liked being able to open the windows if I wanted to. The 25 Euro breakfast is a little expensive so we did not that but had the coffee provided in the room and walked to the Billa Convince store 200ft. away. The staff at the front desk was very very nice.

The hotel is in the perfect location, everything in the Centre is walkable from there. Breakfast in the hotel is wonderful but too pricy. There are many alternative (cheaper) options around the hotel. Beds are great, rooms are adequate.

The room was totally inadequate. They had our 17 yr old daughter sleeping on a very very uncomfortable couch and when we asked they told us most people prefer that. Our beds made both my wife’s and mine backs hurt terribly. When we tried to speak with the mgr. They were extremely patronizing and insulting. Needless to say, we will never stay here again.

Good central location. Room wasn’t large but to be honest it was a base and sufficient to move all around the bed. Bathroom was modern with excellent shower. Friendly staff and can leave luggage if you have a late flight. Check out midday which was a help.

The hotel is in a perfect location to see all the highlights of Vienna. There is a grocery store just steps away and everything else is within walking distance. The staff were very attentive and helpful. They arranged my airport transfer, helped me with directions and even provided an American electrical plug (the hotel has no USB plugs to charge electrionics). The breakfast buffet was awesome, pasties, cooked to order omelets, cereals, a very nice assortment. In general, it was a great stay at this hotel. If ever I decide to go to Vienna again, I will stay here.

Front desk staff were cold and not friendly. Location is great and hotel was very clean. Rooms are dated and in need of an update - our room had orange/red carpet with a big run in the seam. Desk/furniture needs replaced.

Excellent location, perfectly situated for walking around the city centre and for public transport/Hop on Hop Off buses to further explore Vienna and for travel from/to the airport.

The reception, breakfast and cleaning staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection of food and beverages to set you up for the day, I looked forward to it each morning.

My room was on the 8th floor with a great view over the street and Donnerbrunnen fountain. It was quiet (once I found the control for the air conditioning and switched it off as it was very noisy) , other than the 7am cathedral/church bells common to many countries and actually a rather nice way to be woken up.

The hotel staff were amazing they even upgraded us to help accommodate an early check-in. The bar, location, and overall experience were perfect. The only reason I’m giving it a 4 instead of a 5 is that the hotel felt a bit dated in its finishes.

Beautiful hotel located in a central location. Close to major attractions, shops and restaurants. Staff is helpful and friendly. We were assisted from beginning to end. The room is clean and bed is comfortable. A few steps of stairs going to the elevators can be a bit tough when you have heavy luggages but tolerable. You can ask the reception to assist for this small issue. Breakfast buffet is perfect with many selections - love the standby cook who will prep eggs however you like! I highly recommend this hotel when in Vienna!

Perfect Base for Exploring Vienna

Austria Trend Hotel Europa Wien was the perfect base for exploring Vienna. The location couldn’t be better—you can walk to most of the city’s must-see sights, making it super easy to get around. Our room was clean, cozy, and just what we needed after a full day of sightseeing. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a comfortable hotel in a fantastic spot, I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The hotel is centrally located and easy to get to via subway. Staff was ok but lacked local knowledge. Hotel is a little dated and biggest concern was the towel quality. 1st time in Austria so not sure if this is typical but extremely thin and rough. Lastly, the bathtub height is dangerous and easy to slip even for a young person.

Excellent location. Walking distance to everything we wanted to do. Easy access to shopping and food. The location was the best part and I would come back because of this. The rooms were large and comfortable. Somewhat of an odd layout as bathroom and toilet were separated on opposite sides of the room. Also both bathroom and toilet had frosted glass doors. They were not see through, but lacked privacy. My older kids were uncomfortable with this. We enjoyed our stay, but I lowered the stars on service as staff were not very friendly. We were also only given 2 bath towels for 4 people. Asked for more but they only left 2 each day.

Good: The location was excellent and the staff were amazing, very helpful
Needs work: the bathroom was very old, we had to use our own equipment to keep the shower up high enough, the air con unit had very little impact and the curtains did not keep any light out.

Even though temps were 90sF during the day, the ac kept the room cool (we were on the top floor as well). Breakfast buffet was quite extensive.
