We booked our stay with Expedia and it was a big mistake. After choosing the room, Expedia took the money but changed the dates!! Before taking the money it was no review of order or anything!! After the reservation was made I've noticed the wrong dates and called the Hotel! They didn't try to help at all. Evend if we explained the situation( and it was in the first hour after the reservation and one month before the dates booked) and we said that we don't want the money back but at least to change the dates! So, I really do not recommend this hotel because if you have any problem/ situation they really don't care!

it's perfect location for if you visit Schonbrunn palace. A bit walk distance to subway but there is trams station front of the hotel.
Only thing I was bit upset that cleaner took my extra key from my room and return it to front desk.
but overall, staff was nice, clean, and spacious.

It is very poor that there is no room cleaning or service each day. It is great that beds are only changed every three days unless requested and towels only changed if left on floor. But to only come to the room every two days is unacceptable. This is not an AurBNB. If you check in shower and have a cup of coffee/tea then the next two days you cannot have a shower (only with a wet towel as no facility to dry the towel), and no coffee as you have used it and there is no replacement. J til the third day. I can only say stay for one night, beyond that there is no service. Very very poor and disappointing from a big brand hotel.

We returned to the hotel the second night to find the room had not been cleaned or beds made When I inquired they said the rooms only made up every second day This opinion should be a decision made by the guest. Having had issues with other Hilton stays we probably will avoid booking a Hilton in the future

This property is located only 5 minutes from the Schonbrunn Palace. You can catch the Hop on Off buses from Schonbrunn. Loved the property itself and the breakfast was good. Parking is located under the hotel.

Rooms great but the AC was still under winter time heating instead of cooling and was really hot. I complained and they just told me to open the window and I had to do it but was too noisy. Other wise breakfast is amazing and if you don’t mind to use transportation for about 30 min every time yo go to a place except palace that is just 3 blocks from the hotel.

Great for families with connecting rooms

Excellent choice for families as they have connecting rooms. The location is excellent if you are mainly interested in the schönbrunn castle, the castle park, castle maze and the zoo. Also there is the technical museum just beside the hotel. The hotel clean your only one day after another but it is not an issue. The staff are very helpful, special thanks fo Ali. The hotel also offer complimentary delicious cookies. Also there is a small supermarket in the lobby. Small point for improvement: i wish they had pillows menu, we felt the pillows were too soft and low and when putting too above each others they are very high and not comfy. I don't usually face this issue at hotels. The instant coffee at the rooms was really good

We loved our stay at the Doubletree. Spacious rooms, with easy access to Schonbrunn palace, and accommodating staff. For kids in particular - plenty of room to keep strollers in the room, great infant bed, and a bathtub the littles can use. We would gladly stay again with our family of four.

We got greeted by the reception and asked if we would like our welcome cookie. Where was directed to the room and on entering the room it was lovely clean tidy and to a high standard . In our room we had a safe and a fridge no coffee machine but a tea and coffee tray. The rooms get cleaned every two days which is fine with us. The bar meals is a limited menu. Was impressed with the A/C in the rooms. The transport links just outside the hotel are frequent and accessible. Would highly recommend this hotel to any couple.

My friend and I stayed here over a long weekend while we explored what the city of Vienna had to offer. While we had a great time sightseeing, we experienced several issues while staying at the Hilton, albeit, not all of them could have been rectified by the hotel.

During our first night, we were rudely awoken by loud roadworks right outside the bedroom window which consisted of drilling, shouting, and other work-related sounds. We brought this to their attention the following day where we were greeted with essentially a shrug of the shoulders stating they were not working that night.

Moreover, we were informed that our room would be cleaned every second day, yet to our surprise, this did not happen. When reported to the desk, they informed us that they would get it cleaned straight away but when we returned to the room later that night, the room was in the same state but with clean towels left by the door. When staying at a hotel such as a Hilton, I would expect this as a minimum.

Overall, the hotel was clean, well kept, and in a great location, however it was these experience that have led us to leave this review.

The check in was quick. Ms Vollenta was friendly and helpful. She did the check in and help me when I needed a bag for the groceries bought at the lobby. She gave us the famous Hilton cookies. we arrived late night, there is no room service in the hotel but there is a mini groceries in the lobby with all drinks and good sandwiches especially the Tuna sandwiches since we are Muslims so its a good choices for us. The room is cleaned, good size and good internet. The only thing is the Front Desk dont answer the call if you call them. The breakfast is good. Highly recommend the hotel. We would stay here if we are in Vienna.

Comfortable but needs some customer servicry

The hotel is very comfortable. Room was not serviced during our stay, not even the coffee or Kleenex was refreshed. When we requested replacement coffee from the front desk, they sent coffee pods that couldn’t be used by the coffee equipment in our room. The hotel said they would provide parking discount, but their explanation on process didn’t work at the ramp exit so we had to quickly pay full price at the credit machine to allow exit without disrupting other vehicles trying to leave. The restaurant was closed in the evening and there were not restaurants close by. The bar was open with a limited menu.

Situated within walking distance of public transport, so easy to get to town centre. 10 mins walk to Schönbrunn Palace. They let me check in at 1pm instead of 3pm, which was much appreciated. There were 2 free bottles of water in the mini fridge, thanks for that. The bed is extremely comfy, however the pillows are way to soft for my liking, but it’s just my preference. All in all, excellent value for money

Terrible experience in general. Very rude staff, showing massive lack of commitment to deliver even an average acceptable experience. What we liked was the walking distance to Schonbrunn Palace and the Zoo, the transit and metro were accessible the hotel itself was good, reception was welcoming. We thank Naomi at the reception desk who went beyond her way to guide us where to take the metro and the many points of interest to go to.
Coffee and Tea were supplied every morning which we appreciated so much.
What I didn't like was that the room given to us was beside the main traffic road, and we could hear the vehicles and sirens every night. I always look forward to a noiseless room, but disappointed with this.

I don’t understand all the other negative reviews that was written. We had a very pleasant experience. We arrived in the evening and check in was very smooth- literally under 10 mins. Our room was well serviced and staff were very friendly and helpful. The other reviews have written about cleaning staff disrupting sleep. We had no issues as we placed the do not disturb sign on the door. The facilities were amazing - we really enjoyed the sauna and steam room. Transport was very confident - there’ is a tram stop 3 mins away (this gets. You to the centre within 15 mins.

The hotel also next to technical museum. We had to asked for the bins to be emptied because it wasn’t done and some of the towels weren’t replaced. For me my observations the room weren’t cleaned that day only tidied up the bed.

The hotel management changed from Radisson to Hilton Doubletree in the past few weeks and operationally the hotel is not ready to receive guests.

Construction works, limited lighting in areas of the lobby, main elevators were congested, and air regulation within the communal areas was poor.

Reception clearly understaffed, not the fault of the employees who were overwhelmed at points by guests at check-in.

Sauna/spa/pool closed and no room service available (apparently this is not a feature of the Doubletree offering).

The rooms were clean but the cleaning team entered the room in the mornings twice without knocking while we were sleeping.

I am sure this hotel will improve in the next few months as they resolve these operational issues, but I was disappointed as I booked the Hilton Doubletree brand for consistency of experience.

Overall the property was in a wonderful location situated in front of a park and a short walk to the Schonbrun Palace. Access to public transit was also excellent. The property was well maintained although the lights were always off in the elevator lobby on the main floor leaving a rather uninviting feeling. The same was to be said about the front entrance canopy - it was dark at night as if to suggest this was not an entrance at all. Otherwise, the room was comfortable with a well appointed bathroom, first class towels and comfortable beds although the polyester mix pillow cases and comforter falls a bit short. Overall, a great place to stay.

Nothing was wrong. The place is clean and the room was lovely. The gym is as you expect and there's a Sauna. The location is OK (10 minute walk to a tube station) but also pretty dead. The restaurant is high quality food but you need to bring a lot of time, a quick bit is not what it is for. The bar was the emptiest I've ever seen in a hotel. Breakfast was lovely and OK price for 20 Euro when not included in the room. I have no complaints, but I was also not amazed. My biggest gripe is that the wireless if sketchy and keeps getting lost when you use a VPN (as people should). Good for a short stay, not good if you rely on the web to work.

I wished the hotel was closer to the tourist attractions and that they had more amenities. They didn’t even have a store to buy water or toiletries.
