The accommodations were ideal here. They were perfect for my family with a nice large bathroom and shower. The location was very centrally located, making it easy to get to the awesome sites of Vienna. The breakfasts are well worth it and very filling.

This is a well hidden away gem of a place to stay, especially if you want to save money in one of the most expensive cities in Europe by taking a room with a shared bathroom. I still actually had my own shower and basin.

The breakfast area could do with being bigger to seat more people, but there is not much they can do about it. The area can be quite noisy but if you close your window at night it's fine.

Staff were very friendly and spoke good English and the room was clean and had everything I needed. Also more spacious than I thought it would be for a single.

We stayed on the 6th floor. We were completely surprised to get inside our room and find out we didn't have a toilet in our room. We had to shre one with the room beside of us in the hallway. Our 10-year-old had to use the bathroom badly when we arrived. Unfortunately, the people staying next door were already in the bathroom. We waited a long time before the bathroom was available. When it finally became available our son wouldn't go to the bathroom because it smelled awful. I need to go the the bathroom in the night 3 or 4 times. This was very inconvenient for me to have to go out into the hallway. The carpet looked really dirty by the door. I didn't want to walk barefoot in the room.

Conveniently located with friendly staff

We stayed there for 2 nights and had a good time. It is a budget hotel, so don't expect 5 star facilities. Decor was outdated an doesn't look great from the outside but everything was very clean. The breakfast was continental but they also made an effort to leave boiled eggs and some veg and fruit.

The metro is literally a few mins walk away and you can get a bus to and from the airport within a five min walk if that. Staff were very friendly and speak very good English which is helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay.

PLEASE DO READ MY REVIEW BEFORE YOU BOOK IT. I am exprienced and even travelling a lots with my job. So this is def not because of me lack of travelling experience. Well, when i booked the room it said double room. When you go look into more details about the room it listed partially bathroom and shower only. So you will assume this room has shower in it right? But OMG when we oped the door, guess what we saw, A SINK, yes just a sink in your room to wash hand and brush your teeth called partially bathroom. And whats more we actually have to share shower and toilet with other SEVEN rooms. thats say each room can stay up to two people. This is 14 people we are talking about. Honestly, hotel called itself 3 stars hotel but with this kind of condition, this is totally not acceptable. And found out on other reviews later on realize we are not the first one who got into this situation. OH btw when we got there the elevator wasnt working and we had to walk up 8th floor with the suitcases to the receiption. So please think twice before you book it and good luck.

This place is a disaster!!!!!!!

The sign for the place was very small. There was no easy way to get into the place. Fortunately a guest was entering the building and let us in. The ‘lobby’(that’s what they called it) was on the eighth floor. There was one shared tiny toilet for 7 rooms(14 people). No A/C and no fans provided with high temps in the 90’s and lows of 78-80. This is the first time in all my booking on Hotels .com that your rating of the property was an absolute joke-very good is as far off the mark possible. Please take this off your list of possibilities ASAP. If not put the information about one toilet for 7 double rooms in all caps and bold on the first page. You should be ashamed to have this on your list of possible hotels.

The place is in a great location, close to many places of interest. The breakfast great but the carpet on the dining area is too old and looks dirty, The staff so helpfull and look into minimun details. The room has a nice space, I slept like a baby but my husband coudn`t sleep well because is tall and the bed has wooden frame that did not let him lay full straight, carpet and furniture need a bit old

Such an easy place to get to from the rail station. Just hop on the metro, four stops and a short 3-4 minute walk to the pension. Breakfast was great and the rooms very large and quiet. Wonderful helpful staff. I can't say enough good things about the place and absolutely nothing negative.

The staff are excellent. Don't be fooled by the small reception, the room is very spacious. The breakfast is sumptious. Value for money.

It would be even better if there was cofee and tea makign facilities.

This Pension is located in a safe building in a safe area. The staff were great and very helpful to all my needs. The room was a perfect size with a great shower, tv, chair, table and sink. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The breakfast had lots of choices for every taste and well worth the money. Some may say it's all a little dated but for me it's that that adds to it's unique charm. The price was great, it's close to most things and has some great deals on all the tourist things you might want to do. I will be in Vienna again and for sure will stay here. Thank you to all the staff for making my stay such a memorable one.

The staff were extremely nice and accomodating. Room was very clean. Included breakfast was wonderful and lots of choices.The only negative was sharing a bathroom, one bathroom for approximately 4 rooms. The cleanliness, great staff and convenience to city center more than made up for this deficiency. The walk to the bus was a 5 minute walk and went directly to the airport for only 8 euros. Staff gave explicit instructions how to get anywhere and provided maps so getting lost was unlikely.

This pension has shared bathrooms.

We did not see that this pension has shared bathrooms when booking. The building is quite run down and the carpeting is old and dirty but the rooms and bathrooms were very clean although the sofa in the room wasn't very clean. Upholstery could use a good cleaning. The staff was very good. They answered all our questions and attended to our needs immediately. The location was good for the centre and easy to find and walkable to the CAT for the airport. I would not recommend this pension just because of the shared bathrooms.

Cozy hostel close to the city center

The hostel is in a quiet street even though it´s in the very city center. It´s very close to the metro station, it´s literally behind the corner.
I booked a double room with double bed, on purpose because I was traveling with my boyfriend and when we arrived in the hostel, they gave us twin room which was very uncomfortable as the beds kept getting separated so it was impossible to sleep as a couple. We ended up sleeping on one.
Other than that, the room was newly furnished (asked for a newly furnished room in advance), the place was very clean and neat.
Staff at the reception was very welcoming and nice.
Breakfast was very rich, it was a bufet with lots of choices.
The location and breakfast were the highlights of our stay at this hostel.

This establishment is located just across the Danube canal from where you board the ferry to Bratislava. It is also an easy 10 minute walk to Stephens dome and 3 minutes to the Ubahn (subway). All the conveniences are within a block. The pension reception is on the 8th floor of an apartment building. No marks in the building except a small sign with intercom on the street. Our room was on the 7th floor. Elevator was very small but it did its job. The gentleman who greeted us was very friendly and helpful. We had a car so he provided parking info /instructions first so we could get the car situated quickly. The secure underground car park was just 5 minutes walk. Our room was simple and provided the basics. It was very clean. Small by hotel room standards but not cramp. WiFi, TV good. Shower and toilet good. Location excellent both for driving in and out of Vienna and for catching the boats. The surrounding blocks we’re buzzing with life at 10PM but our room was quiet. Breakfast buffet had a limited selection but enough to jump start the day. Overall, staying in this pension was a good value.

I Loved Vienna and will return.

The city was a Wonder, the people were beautiful especially the women whom I wish to have a romantic affair with and the culture, historic sites, and the opera at the Vienna State Opera(Jonas Kaufmann's performance was spotless and right on) were beyond description and better than anything I've seen any where else on earth. I will one day return with stardust and a twinkle in my eyes.

Sub-par hostel - AVOID

This hotel was not a hotel--it was a hostel. I had no idea there were shared bathrooms until I checked in and thankfully was able to \"upgrade\" to a solo room with a private bathroom that was ridiculously expensive for the quality (compared to other hotels in the area). Unfortunately this room was very dingy and the bathroom smelled horribly of sewage. I was so glad I didn't stay for more than one night--I honestly probably would have eaten the cost and switched hotels if I was planning on staying for more than one night. Will never return nor recommend this to friends/colleagues. On the upside, however, the front desk was very helpful and pleasant.

I would recommend because of excellent very helpful staff and great location near Hard Rock Cafe, McDonald, great street food, Red route of Big Bus. Small elevator. If you want to have tea or coffee you need to go to reception (until 10 pm open) to ask for hot water. But staff happy to do it for you.

bad first impression but great hotel

When we first pulled up to the hotel I was very concerned as to what I had gotten myself into. it doesn't look like a hotel from the outside and is right across from a random parking garage on a small street. once you get buzzed in there is a very small slow lift up to the 8th floor reception. the hotel is set up over a few floors. despite being a bit scared when I first got there but after getting into the actual hotel area it was actually nice. the reception is Amazing! so accommodating and helpful. I read many reviews about how you have to share a toilet. I never had to wait and yes it was small but they are very up front about it when you book. my issue with the sharing a toilet thing was they also have you sharing a towel IN said toilet to dry your hands. not a huge deal as there is a sink in your room and I simply re-washed there.. for the hotel to improve: put in paper towels please! I think some rooms had a private shower. mine did not and I didn't have shower shoes for the shared tub so I simply just held of on showering as I was only there 2 nights. I read a lot of reviews saying breakfast was limited. I wonder if people simply are not used to European breakfasts as it was on par to basically every other hotel I stayed In in that price range.

Refused to stay at this apartment because the conditions were way under my expectations. Travelocity won't be my hotel search in the future. I can't believe they will list a place like this and use diffent pictures to list it. Totally disappointed.

It looks like it was an apartment rather than a normal hotel. The hotel has a very convenient location right next to the U station. But it was the most noisy hotel I've ever stayed. Sleeping through the night was almost impossible with vehicles passing through with heavy noise all night long. One of the staff members was not very impatient when we asked questions. The room layout was awful. With three people, two of us using the double beds had to pass through the second room to use bathroom which is located outside of our room, extremely inconvenient. Anyway, would never go back again.

A Cozy B&B in a Great Location

This B&B might not look like much from the front steps but once you get to your guest room, you realize that you'll be staying in a cozy space with everything you'll need for your stay. Staying here I really felt like a local as the guest home is actually situated in an apartment building. My room had a balcony with a view of the highest tower of St. Stephen's Cathedral--a pleasant surprise. The staff is very kind and hospitable and at breakfast every morning we were met with a nice hostess who asked if I preferred coffee or tea with breakfast. I would certainly stay here again if I return to Vienna one day.

Issues I faced during my almost a week long stay:
1- No Internet in room. When I complained to reception, their answer was 'Thanks for Information.
2- Pathetic breakfast with no variety. Same stuff every day, cold coffee, hard buns etc
3- No warmth & no welcoming vibe which is normally a feature of family run B & B. Unsmiling staff.
4- No luggage room.

Good thing is the location of this joint but then there are numerical budget options around.

Would never stay there again. I specially suffered financial loss due to unavailable Internet which was part of money I paid.

Great hotel for the price

Was worried based on previous reviews, but was pleasantly surprised. Yes, reception is on the 8th floor, and only manned until 10 pm but guests get an electronic key and getting in and out is very easy. Room was great, clean, appeared recently renovated, new furniture, comfortable beds, nice shower and bath. It was a hot summer night and there is no A/C, but there was a fan in the room so no problem for me. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic, close to river and major sights right in the center of Vienna. The airport shuttle was not operating (similar to posted comments) though there are pictures on the wall that show the shuttle, so it must exist. However, the airport bus station is 5 min away. There is a bus every 30 min starting at 4 am or so, and it goes directly to the airport for less than 10 Euros, so no problem.

It is in a very good location whereby the train station is nearby. Many eateries store. Although, we have a private bathroom but it is seen through. We have to used a towel to cover the seen through glass panel. The room was extremely hot with a small fan. Also, the elevator can take not more then 3 people and waiting time is long.

The hotel is in a reasonable distance from all of Vienna's places of interest. The area is quiet and the room was small but comfortable.

Great location. Very close to subway station and you can walk to Stephen Square. Breakfast isn't much but would do. My only complaint was I waited for like 20min for the elevator. I was gonna get my luggage to catch the train. Good thing I wasn't in a hurry. I hope it was just a one time thing.

Nice Hotel with Minor Issues !!!

Two important feedback points for the Hotel:
a)The WiFi should improve, we kept getting disconnected each time we connected to it.

b) I would expect a lot of calls from Back home late night & from 2200 hrs to 0615 hrs the Hotel number rings somewhere else and they cannot transfer the calls during this time to my room ! this was very surprising !!! Infact unacceptable.

But I must say that inspite of these 2 issues that we were not happy about, We loved the overall stay experience.

Convenient hotel at the city center

The hotel is centrally located and close (0.5 mi) to the train that takes you to Vienna international airport. The rooms are small but functional and very clean. Breakfast selection is not large (cold cuts, bread and pastry, cereal, yogurt, fruit) but of excellent quality.

Comfortable place close to heart of the city

The room was spacious and we enjoyed our stay. Everyone was very helpful. Breakfast was great.
Even having the toilet in a space shared with another room worked out for us
