We had an excellent stay. The staff are wonderful, the rooms are very comfortable, quiet and clean, and the breakfast was varied, locally sourced and delicious. Very conveniently located for the metro and Praterstern station. I would definitely stay again if I visit Vienna in future.

A wonderful stay in this lovely city hotel. Varied, locally sourced breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Really quiet and spacious bedrooms . In a great location for visiting all the main attractions in Vienna either walking ( if like us you dont mind a a few minutes walk ) or by using the metro which connects you to all just about anywhere you would want to visit including Schonbrunn.

The employees were very friendly, efficient and professional. They made this stay just wonderful. The reason for not five stars is because there was no coffee in room or in reception areas. And very limited food. The breakfast bar was good, byt I would like to see a coffee option in room or in receptionists, and mote options in the afternoon.

We arrived early, they held our luggage. The front desk ladies were so nice and helpful with recommendations.... that were spot on! Great lication to walk everywhere. The best shnitzel is right across the street.room was clean with with an amazing balcony view. Would stay here again and again. Check out with gentleman was effortless.

The hotel is well-managed and the personnel are friendly. It is a good price for money and the location is relaxing, although the underground station (U1 Nestroyplatz) is on the same block. The room (double) is very spacious with a big window. The breakfast is not overly extensive but the ingredients are fresh and of high quality. Unfortunately during my stay, there were some renovation works on-going around the noon time (11:00 - 14:00), and the elevator was being repaired so that I had to walk-up 6 floors. I understood that the situation was temporary. If I go back to Vienna in the future, it would definitely book in the same hotel.

Exceptional customer service from check in to check out. All staff were great! Breakfast was healthy and delicious but very, very busy. An extra coffee/tea machine would be really useful as there was sometimes a delay getting a drink.

A terrific hotel run by extremely friendly and helpful people.
It was perfectly located for what we intended to do in Vienna, right outside the U-bahn station and only two stops from the old town and cathedral.
The hotel is family run, all the staff spoke good English and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay.
The hotel prides itself as being environmentally friendly, from the food that is served there to the bed linen and the cleaning materials used throughout the building. We were really impressed by their understanding of environmental responsibilities and what they were doing.
Our room was quite large, clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was private, also very clean, and along with the entrance / storage area was separated from the main room by a second door. The bed was large, extremely comfortable and the room was warm at all times.
Breakfast was excellent with a very good choice including breads, eggs, meats, cheeses, fruit, yoghurts and cereals. There were home made juices, spreads, jams and granolas. Everything was tasty and left us with a feeling that we'd enjoyed a filling, healthy breakfast.
We thought the hotel to be great value for money and would thoroughly recommend it for any traveller.

Perfectly located hotel

Very unassuming hotel from the outside, but very modern, clean, and comfortable hotel. The staff was very professional, helpful, and eager to assist. The hotel is located in a convenient yet quiet neighborhood that is 15 minutes from the historic center of Vienna and a 10 minute walk to Prater. Several restaurants within walking distance of hotel as well as a subway entrance across the street. Highly recommend the property.

We loved the Henriette, a unique hotel with great values. Lovely room, very spacious and well set out with everything we needed. Nice big bed and lovely bedding. Water provided daily, a kettle in room which I always prefer as a tea drinker, and lovely touches like a basket for recyclables, a complimentary half bottle of wine, and little messages from the staff. There’s a 24 hr food / drink station in the breakfast area where snacks, salads and drinks are available in an ‘honesty’ bar.
The breakfast is fabulous with a great selection of meats, cheeses, breads, soft and hard boiled eggs, cereals,(home made granola!) yoghurts, fruit and drinks- this was a highlight!
Great friendly 24 hr staff too at reception who were so helpful in providing info re places to visit and local restaurants.
With the clean and efficient underground located via a lift about 10 metres away it was so easy to get around the city. And in a quiet location - we had the balcony door ajar one night- it works as a kind of window- ( the room was warm and prefer fresh air to air con) and there was no noise to disturb our sleep!
A really lovely place to stay, highly recommend and we will definitely be returning!

Lovely hotel in a terrific location to be able to walk to all that Vienna has to offer. Just outside the city, so much more quiet than properties within the city.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, spotless, well equipped and cleaned every day.
The breakfast area was in my opinion slightly small for the size of the hotel, which was reflected in sometimes having to wait to be seated. That said, we never had t wait more than 5 minutes for a table.
Overall I would recommend the property and would gladly stay there again.

I like the breakfast. Very good quality. Location is excellent, close to subway and tons of restaurants.
It was very touching that on my daughter's birthday, when we came back to our room, there was a card, piece of cake and a boloom on the coffee table! They probably noticed her birthday on her passport. These small details make this hotel unique. I will stay again next time.

Very pleased with this hotel. We had a veyry clean, comfortable and big room, I suppose the bathroom was a bit small but it was ok and spotlessly clean. . The breakfast was very good, most of it home made. The choice was good and plentiful. The location is great, 25 minute walk to St Stevans church, or the U1 Nestroyplatz stop is literally opposite the hotel front door. The staff were helpful and friendly. If you like a drink there is an honesty bar with a small range of drinks or a few bars in the vicinity.

Overall the hotel is good. Great location and friendly staff. I didn’t like my first night as the aircon was locked so I was far too hot and barely slept. I didn’t realise it was locked but when I asked a member of staff in the morning it was sorted out quickly. Breakfast can be a bit chaotic at busy times. There’s a selection of vegan and gluten free foods but I think it would be more helpful if they were together instead of spread out - this would also help anyone with allergies avoid cross contamination. There’s a lot of roadworks going on across the city, including outside which meant my taxi arriving found it hard to get there. Considering that, it was very quiet at night. I would probably stay again if I go back to Vienna.

We had a really good stay here. Good location. 25 minute walk into the city centre, or a metro stop immediately outside, which got us there in about 10 minutes. Also a 10 minute walk to Pratepark, which our 2 teenagers absolutely loved, and we loved that you paid to go on rides rather than a huge entrance fee.
Hotel was very clean, our room was huge (we had a family suite), very clean and spacious.
And to echo nearly every other review, the breakfast was brilliant.

They are a family run hotel, but whilst this could have a negative impact due to disorganisation, I’ve got to say the hotel is very well run, but with an added freshness caused by its ethos.

I am not in Vienna very much, but if I do come back I will totally be going back there if possible.

We stayed there with our son, 8 years old. Location is very convenient. There ate plenty of restaurants near by and Billa supermarket. U1 line is 200 meters away. From airport to hitel took 35 minutes with teain. You can easily walk the city center from the hotel. The breakfast was great. Allmost all the products are organic. And the variety of food was really good. Staff at the reception desk and at the rastaurant was very helpful. Overall, we really loved the hotel. Prefer family suits at the 7th floor if you stay with your kids.

I stayed in this hotel for six nights in November of 2023. I recommend it for: the excellent location; proximity to transit; pleasant and helpful staff; clean, spacious, very reasonably priced, well-appointed rooms; the nice selection of reasonably priced wine, beer and water in the in-room fridge; the richly varied, very fresh, high-quality breakfast items, many of which were local sourced and/or organic; the somehow cozy-yet-spacious, well-lit breakfast room; but I mostly love it for the fact that they saved my bacon big-time when my booking was one night short of what it needed to be and they were fully booked.

This was totally my fault, but they came through with a two bedroom apartment (for less than what my traveling companion and I were paying for our two rooms!) in a neighboring building, even moving my luggage there for me, with, of course, nary a thing lost, damaged (or even not-neatly folded) and put away just as one might.

Imagine how such a blunder as mine could blow your last vacation day completely out of the water and send you spiraling deep down into bummerville and then imagine your hotel riding to rescue without you having to lift a finger. You would love them forever and tell anyone who would listen that it is the place to stay.

Lord, I love these people for all of that and give them and their lovely hotel my unqualified and highest recommendation. Long live the Henriette Stadt Hotel, says I.

Superb hotel, with very good connection to the train stations, both over ground and the metro.
The hotel, was superb, with a welcome drink when you arrived, tea, coffee, prosecco.
The rooms are a very good size and you hear nothing from outside on the street. Everything you need in the rooms, including a kettle, tea ( no coffee, so bring your own if you want it), bottled water and some chocolate.
Breakfast is a superb continental feast. The majority of the food is organic and locally sourced. Beautiful breads, alpine cheeses, cold meat, freshly squeezed veg shots, yogurt, cereals, nuts, seeds, fruit, pancakes, jams, 4 different homemade cakes and so much more. There is also coffee and numerous different teas ( herbal also) and hot chocolate.
The staff are very pleasant and will direct you to the best restaurants, coffee shops, Christmas markets.
The hotels commitment to sustainability is outstanding and should be applauded.
We would absolutely come back here. Thank you Henrietta Stadthotel and everyone involved in the running of it.

I recently spent 2 weeks at this hotel and had a very enjoyable stay. I got a room on the 2nd floor -courtyard facing which is what you want as there is a major construction going on the Praterstrasse so very noisy. Room size was great. nice to have a balcony too. wish there had been a microwave and kitchenette but I made it work. lots of closet space and a coat/shoe area was a pleasant surprise and useful. I liked being on the 2nd floor which is also where the breakfast room is so very convenient to walk there in my slippers. would be great to even have a microwave in this space so one can warm up any take out food later on in the day. Also I would recommend bringing your own wash cloth as they do not supply any. I will be back for my next visit next year! staff all exceptional, helpful, friendly and personable.

The property was very nice and appreciated the overall sentiment of sustainibility. Nice big room and nice staff. Breakfast was good, but not as phenomenal as I expected from previous reviews.

Wish there would have been a message from the hotel prior to our arrival as there was construction that made it seem like we could not drive up to drop off our luggage. I had to find parking farther away and ask for more info on how to get there.

Initially we were quite warm at night and couldn't get our thermostat below 22C. After inquiring, we found out it had been locked there and had to request the ability to turn it down another degree. Could not get the tv to work and requested someone check it while we were out, but upon return it still did not turn on.

It was spacious, quiet, close to the subway station, I love that it is eco-conscious, and the best part was the delicious buffet breakfast! They produce their own honey on the hotel rooftop and they pride themselves in their homemade food which is almost all organic. The staff were also very helpful and kind. Small personal gestures really added something special to the hotel.

This is a little gem of a hotel.

It's family run but it's also efficient. It means they are very interested in the \"personal touch\", and the staff are friendly but also do their jobs well.

I loved the hand written welcome note. The eggs in the dining area have little hand decorated pictures and messages on them. I was given a departure gift. The staff are invariably efficient, but are also human. All the rooms are numbered, but also individually named.

The rooms are beautifully furnished, and have both soft and firm pillows! (One of my bugbears in hotels is they often only have soft pillows). I also saw they were in the process of refreshing a room whilst I was there, so I assume they work hard to keep the rooms looking great.

There is an underground station right outside the entrance. It is very handy for Prater. It's also about a 40 minute walk to Stephansplatz. All in all, a really good location.

The only things that I found a little disappointing were the shower - which wasn't thermostatic and so could fluctuate a little, and it would have been nice to have a box of tissues in the room provided by the hotel. It was very, very cold during the trip and runny noses were prevalent at the time... :D One other slight concern is they have only a single lift. This broke down on my final day and trekking up from the breakfast room to the 7th floor wasn't fun...

If I return to Vienna, I will definitely be looking at this hotel first.

The room was spacious, very clean, and bright. We had a balcony over the street, and the thick glass panes did a decent job of blocking out the road noise (since it's on a busy street). The neighborhood is close to a lot of good restaurants, the big park with the ferris wheel, and some shopping. One of the things we liked was that the area was tourist-friendly, but was primarily geared towards locals. There were a lot of international food options, and the food was both better and cheaper than most of the tourist-trap places.

Great hotel, good location - 4 metro stops from the main stadium and a short (15 minute) walk to the main shopping and historical districts. We had a lovely family room that was huge. Friendly, helpful staff and a very nice breakfast. Will stay again when we return to Vienna.
