We stayed here in February 2026. While the location was convenient, we unfortunately had a very upsetting experience during our stay.
After housekeeping accessed our room on the third day, my engagement ring was discovered missing. It had been placed together with other jewellery, which remained untouched. We reported this immediately, but were informed that no manager was on site and that there was no formal incident reporting process available at the time. We were also told that no further assistance could be provided. It was a my word against theirs situation.
This was extremely distressing, and we were disappointed by the lack of clear procedure and management support in such a serious situation.

This is a very basic stay. I would only stay here if it is for a night or two. It is 20 min walk from the city center and there is no tv, no air con and the bathroom is uncomfortably small.

Very friendly and helpful staff who spoke excellent english. Great restaurant with delicious food. Nice sized rooms. Only complaint is the mattress was too hard for my liking and the bathroom floor smelt bad. I suspect the mop the cleaning staff uses is getting old and stinky. Overall great hotel for the price with a nice walk to the main part of the city.

I would've given this hotel a poor rating but all of the staff was wonderful and the location was good. But wow, was it run down! The bathroom and bed in our room was clean, but the floors really need updated. A mini fridge would be a great addition as well.

The carpet in my room was stained and should have replaced long ago.
Also the bean bag chair was ridiculous. A second chair with structure should have been provided.
The staff here was great. Helpful and professional aside from just being nice people.

This is a great place to stay for sightseeing in Vienna. The hotel is very cool, the staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful, the room was clean, air-con worked well, and the decor was quirky and interesting. Very walkable into the centre of the city, it took us about 20 minutes. They deliberately don't have TVs in their rooms, and it's true that no-one really watches TV now, we didn't miss it at all! I would definitely recommend this hotel. We had booked as a place to stay for the Taylor Swift concert, and sadly that wasn't to be, but Vienna is amazng and we still had a fantastic weekend in this lovely little hotel.

The property which was advertised as a hotel, was nothing more than a hostel. While it was close to transportation, and had a good breakfast menu, the property itself was not in good condition - carpets dirty, bathroom so small one couldn't get into the shower without hitting leg on toilet, and there was no place to stand and dress in the bathroom. The pegs (to hang clothes fell off, the door knob fell off), and the staff were not present most of the time at the front desk (could not communicate any issues to the staff). No TV, no closet, no mini fridge, no coffee maker.

What a gem...

Just had a lovely few days at Babula. The rooms are simply furnished with no TV, but the hotel has a really friendly vibe. There is ample comfy seating in the lobby & good music being played making it a great spot to chat to other travellers. I don't think there was an option to pre book breakfast but we ate in every morning. Ask for the small menu found in the room which offers free tea or coffee with your breakfast. This is excellent value. All of the staff we met were super friendly and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel. Transport wise it is well served by U1 from Praterstern or the tram can be taken from Heinstrasse to Swedenzplatz.

This hotel is in a great location, few minutes from Prater station on foot, and there is a bus station just one street down, as well as grocery shops and other amenities.Very kind and professional receptionist greated us, the hotel has also a restaurant downstaira, we had only breakfast there but it was great! Given that on Sunday everything in Vienna is closed I reccomend this amazing breakfast.
The room was great for the price and only downside was that we could not open partly the window so we had to sleep with a fully open window. Not worth doxing stars for this minor inconvenience since there was AC in the room.
The photos would make you think there is a balcony, but there is not, grom what I could tell only one room has a balcony, but i did not go to Vienna to sit on a balcony anyway.

The room was good, at least if you need it for couple of days which can be a better option than a hostel also affordable, the room was not as clean as it can be as-well as toilets, in terms of noise it was quite loud when people were passing in the hall it felt like the door is open and you hear them perfectly. Service was pretty good the girl was very Friendly .

Short break in Vienna

Great location for seeing Vienna, less than a 10 minute walk to the main tram station or 30 minutes walk into the City. The public transport network is so efficient.
Our room was on the 5th floor and was really quiet with such a comfy bed, we slept so well. We ate breakfast in the hotel twice which we really enjoyed. The staff were all really friendly and the pancakes were to die for! Great coffee too.

Two small negatives to mention, the air con was very noisy so couldn’t be left on at night and it did get pretty warm in the room. The shower was in a very odd position making it difficult to stand under it without getting water everywhere. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend for a short break in Vienna.

This hotel had a very cool vibe to it. There were many small touches that added to the vibe. The room was clean (except for the carpet which was surprisingly dirty even after room service). Aside from that, the way the room was set up made me wish it was my room at home. Very friendly staff, good location, and a good value for the money.

Very cute inside the building, and it is all decorated well. Our fan was not working which was fine given there were windows, and the bathroom shower had a couple stains. Other than that for the price it is a great place to stay, and I would stay there again if I was in the area!

Trendy hotel a bit out of town. The room was large and well furnished. We overall enjoyed our stay here. The only issue we had was when we booked we made a mistake with the dates and they didn't allow us to change the booking without paying one nights fee. Would stay here again although air-conditioning would be a good addition! The room did have a powerful fan which helped.

We enjoyed our stay here. Location is perfect - it’s a bit further out but this meant parking was much easier and cost was affordable - we used the scooters to get into the main area and this was just perfect.

Rooms were very clean and spacious, we felt comfortable and relaxed. The lack of TV was a real negative (there was a sign saying wifi is the new TV but this is only if you want to watch Netflix on a laptop on your knees - we love arriving, seeing what the ads are like, seeing what the music channels are like and watching the news). The lack of aircon seems to be a europe thing but temperature was very very hot overnight and opening windows resulted in multiple mozzie bites unfortunately.

We ate at the hotel cafe for breakfast and this was affordable and excellent food. Overall an excellent stay and we would come again.

I booked this hotel for its stylish design, but unfortunately, the bathroom had a strong smell of urine throughout the stay... not sure if it was because of the design of toilet or some parts were not cleaned properly. The area was a bit off the town and quiet.

The hotel was fantastic, super straight forward check in process, friendly staff, clean, modern, looked newly decorated and it is effortlessly cool. A few things to note, there was no TV, phone, ironing board etc so it’s between a hostel and hotel. Bed was perfect, big, comfy, clean. I really enjoyed my stay here, the food downstairs was awesome and thank you to all of the friendly staff.

The place is newly renovated - beautiful, clean, comfy big rooms. The perfect place to stay, just away from the loud city but with three convenient stations nearby. The people are incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming, and the breakfast (those pancakes!) were amazing! Absolutely love this place - would return and definitely would recommend.

Minimalist, Excellent Hotel

Fun, modern, and economical -- a great place to stay in Vienna. It was very fresh and must have been newly renovated. The uncluttered approach was nice for our travel style. It was in no way opulent but very minimalistic. If you like this cheaper but clean style, it is a great place for you.

Hotel mit gutem Preis/Lestungsverhältnis, welches über die Straßenbahn Linie 2 gut mit der Innenstadt verbunden ist. Unser Zimmer war einfach, aber zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Das Personal immer freundlich und hilfsbereit, der Zimmerservice fand täglich statt (und nicht wie mittlerweile bei vielen Hotels nur auf Nachfrage). Was ist uns aufgefallen: In unserem Zimmer war das Laminat beschädigt, im Badezimmer müssten die Fugen der Fließen dringend gereinigt werden, Tresor ging nicht, am Fenster hingen unübersehbar Spinnweben. Dinge über die man Hinwegsehen kann, aber den Eindruck beeinträchtigen. Wer ein einfaches Hotel sucht, ist hier trotzdem gut aufgehoben.

Sehr gute Lage, große Zimmer

Gute gelegen nahe des Praters und dessen U-Bahn-Station ist die Atmosphäre (jung, lässig) sehr gut. Das Zimmer war sehr groß. Nicht so gut war, dass es Frühstück nur a la Carte im angeschlossenen Restaurant gibt und das Zimmer sehr stark mit Textilien bestückt ist, die mit einem chemischen parfümierten Reinigungsmittel getränkt waren. Der Safe funktionierte nicht und die Rechnung wurde erst auf explizite Nachfrage ausgestellt.

Besides the lack of amenities, the hotel provides no services at all—it's just a room with a bed. On top of that, they don't seem to care about the noise from construction work, even when guests are staying, making it impossible to rest.

The hotel is very close to public transportation stations, which was important to us when we visited Wien in February. The rooms are spacious, bright, and clean. We enjoyed spending some time in their colorful lobby. They allow you to leave your baggage in a locked closet.

Hôtel bien situé, à proximité du métro et à 5mn du centre ville en métro. Hôtel très agréable. La chambre est grande, propre et confortable. Les petits déjeuner à la carte sont tous excellent et très copieux. Seul petit bémol le bruit de la VMC dans la salle de bain. Bruit très fort et qui dure assez longtemps après être sortie de la salle de bain.

Gayet güzeldi. Yataklar rahattı. Oda temizdi. Ayrıca konumu şehir merkezine yürüyerek çok yakın. Yürümek istemezseniz hem sağ hem sol caddeden tramlar var. Metro da yakın. Havalimanından ulaşım da çok kolay. Her gün odamızı temizleyip, havluları değiştirdiler. Bir sıkıntı yaşamadık. Ayrıca çevrede bir şeyler satın alabilceğiniz birçok market var. Arkadaşım ve ben gayet memnun kaldık.
